This cozy space is an original cabin that's had multiple additions/upgrades, but still retains the original hearth and stone fireplace, woodwork, and character.

The cabin's upgrades include a sweeping 2-story entry and dining room, an upgraded fully-stocked kitchen with an open floor plan, and an upper-level loft that can be used as a workspace, for hanging out or as a 3rd bedroom (it has a full-sized bed, but note the loft must be accessed through the master bedroom).

There are three full bedrooms: one on the lower level with a queen bed and original log walls, a master suite on the upper level (with another queen bed and its own sitting area), and the upstairs loft bedroom. We have several inflatable mattresses with extra pillows and blankets if needed. There is a full bath on each level plus a laundry room on the lower level.

The cabin is full of original woodwork and features, Native American rugs, textiles, artwork and retro "ranch" found items.

There are new 100% cotton towels, sheets, cozy blankets and down comforters throughout. We also provide full-sized natural shampoo, conditioner and soaps in the bathrooms.

We've really taken care to fully stock the kitchen with all the pots, pans, bowls and cooking implements you'll need to create family meals, as well as serving bowls/platters/pitchers for memorable festive dinners, including holidays. There is coffee, salt/pepper, spices and other cooking basics provided.

Spend your time outdoors, where you'll find a sweet fenced backyard with the new 6-person hot tub, or the large brand new side patio with outdoor sitting area, chiminea and gas grill. When not outdoors, cook up a feast in the fully-equipped kitchen, cozy up by the large original stone fireplace, play one of the many board games provided or watch a movie on the HD TV with Amazon Firestick.

Rustic for sure, but in a spectacular setting...the views from this property are breathtaking...in the midst of single track riding, (the Upper Loop, Long Lake, the Lupine trail, 403, the Lower Loop, 401) and amazing 4-wheel drive roads (Paradise Divide, Schofield Park, the Slate River Road.) Bicycle all trails from the cabin. Please note, razors or side by sides and dirt bikes are not allowed on subdivision roads, nor are trailers allowed in the subdivision. Drones are forbidden in the subdivision.
Basically furnished, nice linens. Fireplace, grill. Grandpa built the Cabin so everyone could come and enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing. There are three queen bedrooms on the main floor, the master with an en suite bathroom, and a second full bath in the hallway. The loft sleeps six, in five single beds and one full, with an additional full bath.

After winding your way up the mountain in historic CB South you will find your resting place nestled snuggly in the trees. This apartment is your little piece of heaven with all the modern comforts you can hope for. This is the perfect place for the couple's getaway or "small" family adventures. This apartment is tucked back into the trees where you can sit and enjoy the views. You have two decks to relax on while you stay with us. The sun-warmed front deck faces the neighboring home and driveway, but because of the driveway cutout, amazing views of the mountain can be seen. The other, cooler deck is tucked into the surrounding trees with plenty of wilderness "feel" where deer often pass by and true solitude is found.

This above garage apartment with queen bed is perfect for two people. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. It is small, but doable.

Winter! November-March 4x4 is necessary-
In the winter, the windy dirt roads leading to the home and driveway can be slippery! 4x4 is advised!! (No Doulies or trailers ever) This is a true mountain drive. The correct vehicle is strongly advised. The parking can be tight, so please bring only 1 vehicle.There are several homes sharing the driveway

The hosts provided all the necessities like pots and pans, plates, silverware, soaps and shampoo, and clean linens. The road leading to the property is a dirt road and was a bit washed out but our Nissan Altima had no issues accessing the property, just be aware it’s bumpy. We had amazing views from each of the balconies, and being able to open the windows in the evenings to let in the mountain air was so peaceful. The addition of a washer and dryer was such a plus, leaving for home without any dirty clothes to wash made going home just a little easier. Overall I would rate our stay a 10/10, Jenny was very communicative and helpful, the property was amazing, and we were had a great stay! "
