It was nice to be in a quiet out-of-the-way spot but to also have all the stuff of modern life down the road in Silverthorne/Frisco/Breckenridge, plus the hotsprings in Steamboat are only an hour away! The best part for us was the hiking that is within 20-minutes. Definitely check out Acorn Creek Loop (go clockwise!) and the various lake hikes just behind Heeney in Eagles Nest Wilderness. The Lodge at Carolina in the Pines is a unique 8000-square-foot, luxury, mountain home offered by Mountain Clover Homes that is minutes from five major ski areas, but is the ultimate spot for summer activities. It is one of the many large homes offered by Mountain Clover Homes.

This lodge can be rented as the perfect private home for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, or the ultimate group vacation ~ the house was originally used as an upscale bed and breakfast so everything is beautifully maintained and all of the rooms are self contained allowing for privacy even when traveling with a large group. There are three dining room tables in the main great room (and another 8 person bar table around the corner in the Game Room) so that you can seat your entire group for meals and celebrations. The beautifully equipped commercial kitchen is separate from the dining room which makes it perfect for hiring a private chef ~ or open the door for a lovely pass through the butler's pantry into the great room. The Lodge is walking distance from breathtaking Lake Dillon and marina along the bike path just outside our front door.

Our much loved mountain property is well equipped for young kids and your loved dog - three floors with a kid friendly lower level den and a huge natural backyard. All this and world class ski areas are only minutes away. Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin are a 15-20 minute drive and Vail is a short 30 miles.

- "We have done at least 20 VRBOs over the past five years and this cabin was our all time favorite. The location was awesome with the mountain and woods behind the cabin and easy access to stores, restaurants and adjacent towns. The view out the huge front windows provided a great view of the mountains especially when the sun was rising over them in the morning. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a group of nine. The owners was awesome and extremely helpful. Even though we went when there was four foot of snow behind the cabin we saw a lot of wildlife from foxes, pine martins and a variety of birds (bring a bird feeder, bird feed and put out on the porch...you won't be disappointed). With access to trails behind the cabin I think this would be an even better place for the summer and if we can make it work I plan on renting it again then. Overall Amazing Cabin!!!!"

Welcome to our wonderful family cabin! Come see the amazing views of Buffalo Mountain within close proximity to multiple ski resorts and summer activities. We are a 20-minute drive to Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. Or take a day trip to Vail, Beaver Creek, and Steamboat. Just up the road lies the fantastic Raven at Three Peaks golf course and Keystone's 36 holes on the Ranch and River courses. Enjoy fly fishing, hiking, and biking. Our private cabin is a short walk or drive to restaurants and shopping in Silverthorne and Dillon.

Our cabin has a master suite loft with a queen bed and private bath, a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed, a 3rd bedroom with two bunkbeds (including a full-size bed), a 2nd full bath and 3rd half bath.

Plan the perfect getaway with your family and friends and don't be afraid to bring your young kids. Kids under 5 ski for free at most Summit County ski resorts. After a long day, the kids can bundle up in the bunk bedroom and watch a movie or play with the bin full of toys while the parents' rest.

Groups of young or old adults will love watching the sun rise and hit Buffalo Mountain and Red Peak while sipping your morning coffee and gearing up for days adventure. Leave your worries behind and breathe in the wonderful rocky mountain air!

Small 4 person Hot tub
We are a privately owned cabin that sits on 1-1/2 acres very close to everything yet secluded. The hot tub sits off the deck, hidden from the road and not shared with other.

Summers are exceptionally beautiful here. You are right on the Bike path that takes you to silverthorne or the outlet shops. The other direction takes you up to Dillon and the Lake.

This is an awesome getaway to try anytime of the year.

The hot tub was perfect after days on the mountain, and after a month there we actually ended up liking Keystone much more than Breckenridge, so the location was perfect. We’re already talking about returning next year. Things to keep in mind: if working remote (like we were) internet is slower but manageable (I was able to use a VPN with no problem but video calls were just decent). Also the beds could use a mattress topper, which we would bring if we return. All in all, it made us wish we lived there year round!"

After a day of playing in Summit County relax with views of Gore and Ten Mile ranges. Enjoy the ambiance of the wood burner stove in the living room and the hot tub on the deck. Two bedrooms with double beds and a loft with single beds will sleep seven. Kitchen has all amenities of home. Bath has double sinks with a shower. Although not a cabin in the woods or luxury condo, it will allow you the convenience of being close to Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge and a half hour to Vail.

Home has terrific location one mile off of Interstate 70 in Silverthorne with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The popular ski resorts including Breckenridge, Copper, Keystone and Vail are within 20 - 45 minutes. Summer fun including hiking and biking as well as Lake Dillon and the Blue River for kayaking and fishing.
