It was nice to be in a quiet out-of-the-way spot but to also have all the stuff of modern life down the road in Silverthorne/Frisco/Breckenridge, plus the hotsprings in Steamboat are only an hour away! The best part for us was the hiking that is within 20-minutes. Definitely check out Acorn Creek Loop (go clockwise!) and the various lake hikes just behind Heeney in Eagles Nest Wilderness. The Lodge at Carolina in the Pines is a unique 8000-square-foot, luxury, mountain home offered by Mountain Clover Homes that is minutes from five major ski areas, but is the ultimate spot for summer activities. It is one of the many large homes offered by Mountain Clover Homes.

This lodge can be rented as the perfect private home for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, or the ultimate group vacation ~ the house was originally used as an upscale bed and breakfast so everything is beautifully maintained and all of the rooms are self contained allowing for privacy even when traveling with a large group. There are three dining room tables in the main great room (and another 8 person bar table around the corner in the Game Room) so that you can seat your entire group for meals and celebrations. The beautifully equipped commercial kitchen is separate from the dining room which makes it perfect for hiring a private chef ~ or open the door for a lovely pass through the butler's pantry into the great room. The Lodge is walking distance from breathtaking Lake Dillon and marina along the bike path just outside our front door.

Our much loved mountain property is well equipped for young kids and your loved dog - three floors with a kid friendly lower level den and a huge natural backyard. All this and world class ski areas are only minutes away. Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge and A-Basin are a 15-20 minute drive and Vail is a short 30 miles.

- "We have done at least 20 VRBOs over the past five years and this cabin was our all time favorite. The location was awesome with the mountain and woods behind the cabin and easy access to stores, restaurants and adjacent towns. The view out the huge front windows provided a great view of the mountains especially when the sun was rising over them in the morning. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a group of nine. The owners was awesome and extremely helpful. Even though we went when there was four foot of snow behind the cabin we saw a lot of wildlife from foxes, pine martins and a variety of birds (bring a bird feeder, bird feed and put out on the porch...you won't be disappointed). With access to trails behind the cabin I think this would be an even better place for the summer and if we can make it work I plan on renting it again then. Overall Amazing Cabin!!!!"

Welcome to our wonderful family cabin! Come see the amazing views of Buffalo Mountain within close proximity to multiple ski resorts and summer activities. We are a 20-minute drive to Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. Or take a day trip to Vail, Beaver Creek, and Steamboat. Just up the road lies the fantastic Raven at Three Peaks golf course and Keystone's 36 holes on the Ranch and River courses. Enjoy fly fishing, hiking, and biking. Our private cabin is a short walk or drive to restaurants and shopping in Silverthorne and Dillon.

Our cabin has a master suite loft with a queen bed and private bath, a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed, a 3rd bedroom with two bunkbeds (including a full-size bed), a 2nd full bath and 3rd half bath.

Plan the perfect getaway with your family and friends and don't be afraid to bring your young kids. Kids under 5 ski for free at most Summit County ski resorts. After a long day, the kids can bundle up in the bunk bedroom and watch a movie or play with the bin full of toys while the parents' rest.

We are a privately owned cabin that sits on 1-1/2 acres very close to everything yet secluded. The hot tub sits off the deck, hidden from the road and not shared with other.

Summers are exceptionally beautiful here. You are right on the Bike path that takes you to silverthorne or the outlet shops. The other direction takes you up to Dillon and the Lake.

This is an awesome getaway to try anytime of the year.

- "I absolutely LOVED my stay in David’s cabin. It was all very much last minute as my motorhome’s engine blew up and had to be towed from NE to CO/Denver. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise when we (dogs and me) came to the cabin and just so much enjoyed the peace and quiet up there. The cabin is at the end of a dirt road on the side of Mt Ptarmigan which - if you take the hiking trail - gives you a 250 degree view of the valleys and the lake. Absolutely amazing. Less than a mile into Silverthorne which is a super cute little town with a beautiful river walk, great coffee shop (besides the Starbucks) and everything else one might need. If it’s not in Silverthorne then it’s in Dillon or Frisco which is also only 15 min away. The cabin itself is such a retreat, we immensely enjoyed recharging our batteries from traveling all the way from FL. The sun rises on the bedroom side and then swings around the porch and sets on the living room side, so the cabin has sun all day. The porch is great to hang out on. The cabin has pretty much everything from a Keurig (if that’s what you like) to a normal coffee machine, a blender, a nutro bullet, full size stove, microwave, a little countertop toaster oven (which I loved, works much better than a regular toaster), plus the normal toaster, BBQ on the porch; a really comfy couch which we extensively “tested”, it even has an e-piano/keyboard. The only thing really that is not there is a dishwasher. The beds’ mattresses are rather on the firm side but since my motorhome was in Denver and I had to go back down anyway I brought up my mattress topper and then slept like a baby enjoying the night air sleeping with the windows open. So long story short, if we ever come back to the area - which I certainly hope for - we will definitely stay here again."

- "My wife and I had a great time at this cabin. It was a perfect private getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to Silverthorne luxuries. It is a big place with multiple rooms and a balcony grill. We really enjoyed the balcony views, particularly during sunrise. The night skies had little light pollution - we were able to see Jupiter and multiple shooting stars as we relaxed in the hot tub. There was even a disc golf basket in the backyard for me to practice my shot! We'd definitely recommend this property and will be back!"

Please keep in mind that if a full drain and fill service is needed, it may take up to 48-72 hours for the hot tub to reach full temperature.

Our A-frame cabin is in a quiet mountain community on 2 acres at 9k feet. Our location is outstanding: a 5 min drive to I-70 and the hot town Silverthorne, & central to 5 world-class ski resorts. Hike from the door to Ptarmigan Mountain. Stocked kitchen, fast wifi and desk to work, a grill and unbelievable views. In winter snow tires or chains are a must - no exceptions. The road is steep.

Currently set up with a queen bed and two twins in the loft.

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome.

The space
Welcome to our happy place! Our cozy cabin is 1100 sq feet, well insulated and has the best views in the county. First thing in the morning, open the blinds and have coffee while checking out the views. Settle in to work at the desk thanks to super fast wifi internet. After work or exploring, step onto the deck for an unmatched sunset. The colors and views won't disappoint and are the perfect way to end your day.

The cabin is an A-Frame with a Queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in an upstairs loft. If you plan to use all beds, guests must be comfortable climbing up to the loft via a pull down ladder. There is one full bath, a kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, a full sized fridge, and for those comfortable building a fire, a wood burning fireplace (firewood can be purchased at the gas stations near the cabin). There is also a desk for working.

The living room is comfortable, with a down denim sofa, and two chairs + ottoman for lounging. A dining table folds away when not in use with four chairs tucked away in nooks around the cabin.

The deck has fantastic views. A charcoal grill and outside table/seating available for your use. The cabin is well-insulated and the fireplace heats the cabin quickly if desired. However, when the heater runs, it can be a noisy....but it heats quickly and will shut off when it reaches the thermostat temperature.

The driveway accessing the property is steep and snowy in the winter. Please only consider this property if you are prepared with AWD/4WD and snow tires or chains. Innthe mountains, winter starts in November and runs thru May.

Trash pickup to our community comes only once a month, and we offer a dumpster (please keep it closed and locked to save the wildlife).

We kindly ask that you scoop the poop if you bring dog.

For longer term situations, we can make more space for storage available.

IMPORTANT: There is a fire ban in effect - no outdoor fires. Also, the access road is STEEP, but easily passable in summer months in a 2WD vehicle. Winter REQUIRES snow tires and 4WD, or chains. All terrain tires will not be adequate. Please be prepared. This is a true mountain cabin.

Hi I have a two bedroom unit with an outdoor hot tub on the property. The hot tub is shared with one other unit. There is also a lake about a block behind the property and it is a great place to relax in the summer. It is located 15 minutes to Copper Mountain and Keystone and about 20 minutes from Breckenridge and 30 to Vail. It is about a block to a lake and the place is very quiet. I do allow dogs but it is $35.00 per day. This is a great place for winter and summer fun.

The space
Hi I have a two bedroom unit with a king bed in one of the bedrooms and a smaller queen in the other. I am a block to a lake and about four blocks to the Rec center.
The Kitchen opens up to the family/dinning room.

In the front yard there is the hot tub. Hot tub is not to be used after 9:30.

The place is very quiet and I do not allow parties or any loud noises after 10 pm as there is a unit below and another duplex next to mine. If you have a dog and you do not take him with you skiing then the dog should be crated or left in the smaller bedroom. Barking dogs would need to be with owner if that is an issue. Hot tub is semi private as it is shared with the downstairs unit.
I enjoy sharing my place and ask that guest treat it with consideration and if there any issues that they contact me immediately.

Our house is a perfect location for your mountain vacation. We are 10 miles from Keystone , 16 miles from Breckenridge and Copper, and 30 miles from Vail. Nestled on the side of Ptarmigan Mountain, the views of the valley are spectacular. Perfect for large, or two families, on demand hot water means everyone gets a hot shower and the 10 beds, means everyone gets a great nights sleep. Four wheel drive is recommended in winter.

The space
Set on one acre, with amazing views of the valley, our cabin is a great place to spend some time. Near to all that Summit County has to offer, there is plenty of fun to be had in all four seasons. The cabin is perfectly setup to make for an easy visit, with a full kitchen including all needed cooking equipment, a large dining table to sit your entire group, a big TV, L-shaped couch and wood burning stove in the living room, two downstairs bedrooms with Queen sized beds, and an upstairs loft space with 3 bunk beds and a TV with an Xbox. Two full bathrooms, one with a tub, and on demand hot water, make keeping the group clean and easy task. While no one likes to think of chores while on a break, a full washer and dryer and a dishwasher make getting things clean quick and easy.

Plenty of on-site parking. Four wheel drive is strongly recommended in winter as the driveway is steep. However, if you can't make it up the hill, there is parking at he bottom of the driveway, which would require a short, but definitely uphill walk.

Located on Ptarmigan Mountain, this A-Frame feels like you are miles away from civilization even though you just minutes from restaurants, stores, hikes, rivers, skiing and countless other activities. Enjoy the absolutely stunning views from your expansive deck complete with hot tub and grill or walk down to your brand new dry sauna with a glass viewing bubble to take in the scenery.

This is the escape you have been looking for!

The space
The A-Frame is 800 square feet of living area with an additional open air bedroom accessed by a ladder. The bedroom has a high end queen memory foam mattress. Additional guests can stay on a foldable queen memory foam mattress that can be set up in the living room. The couch can also sleep one or two additional people.

The property has just under an acre of space and can fit multiple cars including trailers and toys etc.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property however the owner does have trailers and snowmobiles parked on site and out of the way.

Other things to note
The house is on well water which does have a slight sulfur smell to it. It is all filtered and completely fine to drink, but just want to give guests a heads up. The water comes from an aquifer 300 feet below the property, so every shower is essentially a mineral bath :) We also have bottled water on site.
