- "We celebrated our engagement here and it was perfect! Great location from Estes and Allenspark! The Wi-Fi helped a lot with communication with family. The hot tub was one of our favorite things! Rosemary was very helpful with everything and answered any questions we had. The cabin had such charming touches. Highly recommend!" - "My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The location is close enough to Estes Park for convenience, but far enough away to really enjoy the alone time. The hot tub is great for soaking after a long hike, and you can enjoy the views of Mount Meeker. There's also plenty of hummingbirds buzzing about, a much welcomed treat. A 5 Star3 BR Luxury Log Cabin, Overlooking RMNP only 20 minutes from Estes Park
Cabin
Allenspark, Colorado, USA

Our cabin is a perfect relief where at home; it's been over 90 degrees for the last month. Stay at our cabin in the Rocky Mountains, which has perfect “sleeping weather.” Our summers have daily temperatures in the 70s and cool nights in the 50s.

Over the last two years, we have received 27 consecutive 5-star reviews; in the previous five years, 99 of our 107 guests gave us 5-star reviews. They appreciate the tranquility of the location, the ease of getting to RMNP, the spectacular views of the continental divide, the quality of the property, and the experiences for all ages, from kids to seniors. We have the quiet of the mountains, abundant wildlife, including moose and Elk, and a high-quality, well-furnished, cozy cabin on 5 acres of land.

Our property on Coyote Hill consists of a three-bedroom luxury log cabin overlooking RMNP with spectacular panoramic views for miles across the Continental Divide. Concerned about COVID-19, our cabin is completely secluded from other travelers or rental properties. You can be completely isolated or enjoy the RMNP / Estes Park attractions. Over the last five years, our property has been rated exceptional for its quiet seclusion and luxury features. On-site family and kids activities and easy access to Estes Park and RMNP

This is the place if you are looking for safe and quiet solitude that settles the soul and easy 20-minute access to Estes Park. Our cabin is 13 miles south of Estes Park on a private road on Coyote Hill. Most days, one or two cars might pass by our cabin, which is 3/4 mile up a private road. See the walkthrough video in the photo section.

This year, many families are looking to take a combination staycation where they can get away but still have access via wifi for work and Zoom classes. Fully equipped with a new Star-link/ SpaceX high speed 100-250MB internet / WIFI for video, zoom, or business communications. We have several areas, including the living room desk /office area with an all-in-one Canon color printer/ copier where you can get away to do work while the family is enjoying themselves: relaxing with a book on the decks in the hot tub, with extensive kids playground activities, or exploring the 5 acres of our cabin's private property.

It is more of a mountain home than a cabin. It has an open floor plan recently updated with refinished pegged hardwood floors, a kitchen, a dining area, and a great room. For sleeping, it has three bedrooms and a living room (completely separate from the great room) with a wood-burning sandstone fireplace, a cozy living room with a high-quality inflatable hide-a-bed, a rocking chair, a desk and printer for work, and bookcases. The entire cabin is furnished in a high-quality manner, including original art, oriental rugs, and several handcrafted pieces of furniture. It has great southern and western views of RMNP's Wild Basin. It sleeps nine people and includes all of the modern conveniences.

Many kids' amenities include a treehouse with a slide and firepole pole, a playhouse, a sandbox, and swings. We have seven grandkids, and they all love it. View the kid's zip line called the "Flying Chicken," made for kids under 100# so they can get off and on by themselves. The location is perfect for hiking and relaxing. You will have close access to Rocky Mountain National Park and its wide range of activities. Enjoy cocktails around the wood fire pit and watch the stars or sunrise while relaxing in the hot tub. Many wildlife, including birds and small animals, frequently visit. Moose and Elk often pay a visit. It is surrounded on three sides by large decks overlooking the continental divide.
The solid log cabin sits on 5 acres. It has hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings with distressed cypress paneling. There are great views from every room. You will see the sunrise or sunset over Mount Meeker as you look out the large windows in the family room from the kitchen.

There are three bedrooms with high-quality queen-sized beds. The master bedroom has a handmade log bed, new mattress, skylight, private deck, and full bath. The second and third bedrooms also have vaulted ceilings, large log purloins, and mountain views. In addition to a queen bed, the third bedroom has a single bed perfect for a child. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom and shower. There is a high-quality queen-sized adjustable /inflatable hide-a-bed in the living room.

The cabin was completely remodeled in 2000 and updated in 2019 with high-quality furnishings (including several handcrafted pieces), art, and modern appliances, including a gas range, a microwave dishwasher, a side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser in the door, a trash compactor, and filtered water at the sink and refrigerator. The kitchen cabinets are maple with granite tile countertops and backsplashes.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the expected hand appliances: toasters, blenders, toaster-oven, crockpot, electric frypan, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and a full spice assortment. The cabin also has a stacked Whirlpool Duet front-loading washer, dryer, and detergent to handle your laundry needs.

For entertainment, there is a 40 'Sony Plasma TV. We installed the new Starlink (Spacex) high-speed Internet, ROKU, with all major channels, including Netflix, Amazon, Disney Plus/ Expn Plus, and YouTube. The audio system is connected via Bluetooth to your iPhone player (Pandora/ Spotify) access to the sound system with multiple BOSE speakers both in and outside on the deck and hot tub. This area has no direct cell service, but you should be able to connect your iPhone via WIFI, depending on your network carrier.

With 900 S/F of decks surround the cabin with log railings for relaxing outdoors. On the main deck is a sandstone wood-burning fire pit to keep you warm while you have a glass of wine, watch the sun go down, and enjoy your favorite music from Bose speakers over the deck. There is a smaller deck off the master bedroom where you can get away to read a book and view cabin rock to the north.

We have installed a high-end Jacuzzi 6 person Hot Tub with a range of features, including music at one end of the deck with great views of the mountains perfect for watching the sunset, listening to your favorite music through Bose speakers mounted near the Hot tub, and on the deck, or having a cup of coffee as the sun rises in the morning, causing Mount Meeker to glow a fantastic shade of pink.

Our cabin is equipped for our seven grandchildren, with swings and a playhouse cabin for smaller kids. Older kids will enjoy the incredible treehouse with a 16-foot slide, fire pole, tire swing, and tree swing. There is an old foundation with logs and lumber where older kids make huts (no tools needed). We even have a "Kids 100" zip line they can operate by themselves called the "Flying Chicken Express," where they can get on and off with our help. All but the zip line of the kid's play activities are within 30 feet of the front deck.

There are about 20 cabins on our private road with no full-time residents. Most days, you will see only a car or two passing the cabin. Our property is adjacent to a 2,000-acre Boulder open space that will never be developed, so hiking is just up the hill.
The cabin is very close (five miles) to the less crowded Wild Basin entrance to RMNP, where a short hike will take you to Calypso cascades and waterfall. Several longer, more challenging hikes are also options from this entrance.

The Meeker Park Lodge and Stables are only three miles away for horseback riding. (Meeker Park Lodge is over 90 years old and was run up until last year by the original family. It is open between Memorial Day and October.) There is also horseback riding in Allenspark (five miles away) and the Aspen Lodge (5 miles away).

One of our cabin's great features is easy access to Estes Park without the traffic and congestion of an Estes Park location. For more, at a slower pace, visit Allenspark (5 miles), which has several restaurants, including a new Rock Creek tavern for pizza and Meadow Mountain Cafe for big mountain breakfasts and healthy lunches. The Ferncliff Grocery is available as well as the Meeker Park Lodge Store for Milk and Bread (June to Oct)

The cabin is 13 miles south of Estes Park, so you are only 20 minutes away from the many attractions of Estes Park, including the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and the world-famous Trail Ridge Road (the highest continuously paved highway in the US). The drive over Trail Ridge Road is an incredible day drive, passing over the 12,880-foot-high continental divide to Grand Lake and back. To minimize park congestion, they have implemented a timed entry process to ensure everyone can enjoy the park without overly large crowds.

Estes Park has many attractions, including golf, shopping, medical facilities, and weekend festivals, including the Longs Peak Scottish Highland Festival and the Elk Fest in the fall. You will probably see more Elk in Estes Park than elsewhere in Colorado. For kids, check out the Big Slide amusement park for lots of rides and fun. There is also great miniature golf outside Estes (Estes Park Ride A Cart has two excellent courses). Estes Park Golf Course is a tremendous public 18-hole course on the way to Estes.

Guest Reviews:

- "Very nice cabin with fun activities for kids including a playground and zipline. We did the hiking trail loop direct from the cabin as well as several hikes in RMNP. Easy access to Lily Lake, Longs Peak Area, Wild Basin, and close enough yet far enough away from Estes Park for the secluded atmosphere we were looking for. Cabin creek is a pretty smooth dirt road, but Coyote Hill is more suited to high clearance vehicles. Great property!" - "Our family spent time here in July. We enjoyed the fact that we were about 20 minutes from Estes but still in a quiet, remote area. Our son loved the fire pit and we gathered around it most nights while listening to music through the speakers on the deck. The proximity to RMNP was a big bonus as well and we overall enjoyed our stay!"

Guest Reviews:

- "The cabin was very nice, it was less than a mile from Wild Basin Entrance to RMNP. TV and internet worked great, kitchen was fully stocked. One warning there are bears in the area and I made the mistake of leaving my car unlocked. A bear rummaged through the car. All was ok and just made for a great story." - "Enjoyed our stay. Very good accommodations and walking distance to Wild Basin Lodge and ver close to Estes Park and RMNP." - "Everything was exactly as described plus the bonus of active/accurate communications from Emily, easy in/out, thoughtful touches for family and just the right distance (20 min) from commercialism of Estes Park with very short distance to Wild Basin either to walk in during "protected" hours or drive over before 9am/after 2pm when passes are not needed. So much fun to watch the hummingbirds."

- "My family stayed here for a long weekend hiking trip. We loved this cabin. It's quaint and rustic but still offers all the modern amenities you'd need for an escape from the hustle and bustle of life. The host met us at check in and made sure any questions were answered. Allenspark is a great alternative to the much more touristy Estes Park." - "We loved the isolated location and appreciated Jack welcoming us on arrival and showing us through the house and giving overview of the area. Disappointed we didn't see the moose or bears. The two suggestions I would make - 1. send the welcome letter out a little sooner as we received it too late to adjust our packing based on the "what to bring" list. 2. While the directions to the cabin were spot on and easy to follow, Waze didn't recognize the street name. Maybe mention that GPS programs will get you to Allenspark but may not recognize the address and to just follow the written directions provided.j Thanks again."

Serene Solitude mountain cabin in Allenspark
Cabin
Allenspark, Colorado, USA

Located near both the Wild Basin Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and Long's Peak trail head, this cabin is ideally suited to anyone looking for a base for hiking, riding, climbing, hunting or just lazing and star gazing.

The first floor includes a combined kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as two bedrooms and bath. Upstairs is a large loft overlooking the living room that most guests use as the master bedroom because of its large windows, the king size bed and it's stunning views of Mt. Meeker.

The house sits on an acre and a half lot. It is adjacent to Ponderosa Lodge (Property # 803298) which we often rent in tandem (it is about 100 yards down hill) and which can be accessed by a path. Many families have rented both houses together for family reunions and weddings.

We bought the house in 2001, although Susie had hoped to purchase it since first setting foot in in 1967, when her parents brought the family to meet the builder before purchasing the house down the hill.

There has always been something very special about this cabin. It feels isolated while still being close to amenities. Its an easy 15 minute drive to Estes, 45 minutes to Boulder, and 5 minutes to the booming metropolis of Allenspark (population 250!). The Meeker Park Lodge Livery is a short walk and in summer the lodge has a small grocery store for last minute items.

We are surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest so there is hiking in virtually every direction, from easy strolls to the trail head for one of Colorado's magnificent 14'ers. The Long's Peak trail head is just a brief drive.

Susie's family started coming out to this area in 1955 and have enjoyed the wonders of this area in every season. The abundance of wildlife (moose, elk, mule deer, bobcats, hawks, owls, chipmunks, squirrels, seen them all!) can be enjoyed from the deck.

The house is fully furnished and includes satellite and WiFi, a flat screen TV, DVD, games, books and a welcoming wood burning stove in the living room.

We’ve recently put in a new king size mattress and have made some other upgrades. Its a great house.

- "Solitude was just the cabin we needed for our stay in Allenspark. Our nine year old grandson loves Lego and the Lego A frame kit, so he appreciated the architecture of this cabin. These are what the adults appreciated so much: the comfortable and inviting decor (loved the wall quilts and local historic pictures); the well stocked kitchen (even though we did not do a lot of cooking, it was amazing how efficiently so much was in the kitchen); the fantastic views of Mt Meeker; the night views from the loft windows; eating meals on the deck; the comfortable seating for family gatherings in the living room; naps on the deck; how well the cabin was maintained and how clean everything was; the location for enjoying the local sites and Rocky Mt Nat Park. We have been coming to Allenspark since 1967 and Solitude cabin helped us make this another memorable and "historic" visit!"

- "This has been our third stay and as always it was great. I could go on and on about how great it is but there is not enough time and space. If you love the mountains as much as I do, you could not ask for a better location and cabin. Kipper and Heather are great hosts and will always help anyway they can." - "This is a comfortable home situated near the southeast corner of Rocky Mountain National Park. It's conveniently located near the less-visited entrances to the Park: Wild Basin and Long's Peak. It's easy enough to get to Estes Park and the Beaver Meadows entrance to the Park as well, and there are spectacular (and often crowded) hikes from that entrance. But the waterfalls accessible from Wild Basin are among the best in the Park. The house has everything you need. We used the outdoor gas grill frequently and made use of the outdoor gas fire ring too. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are firm and comfortable."

- "This was one of our best stays in Colorado. This cute little cabin in the secluded mountains was absolutely amazing! We only left a couple of times because everything you would need or want was right here. We did eat at Rock Creek Tavern (the best pizza ever) twice. The views were awesome, the cabin was so clean and perfectly organized. We saw a bear our first full day, a momma moose and her calf the second and third days, lots of hummingbirds and other birds. The hosts, Debby and Bernie are wonderful people. We really enjoyed getting to know them and learning about the area from them. We loved this place so much we immediately rebooked for a fall trip. We are counting down the days to return. ❤️❤️"

This was definitely secluded. I saw one human apart from our travel party while at the cabin.during our entire stay. As an out-of-state guest, our cell phone in the entire Wild Basin area was non existent. To use my cell phone I had to go to Estes Park." - "5 star"

- "Perfect!" - "It was nice to have queen beds for all the guests and the location is what really made the rental. It was incredible!" - "Beautiful property, well-maintained and scenic. Amazingly easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, you just walk across the road and check in with the ranger station." - "We were more than pleasantly surprised by this amazing cabin and location! My friends and I were hiking in the Wild Basin area and felt like VIPs when we realized our cabin was a short walk to the Sand Beach Lake Trailhead. We loved the location on the river and enjoyed an evening chatting in the hot tub with the river in the background. A note to renters, access to the basement two bedrooms and bath is ONLY possible by going through an outside entrance. No access to the bottom floor from the inside. We didn't mind this. The pull out couch in the living room was comfortable especially for a sofa sleeper. We loved waking up on the river and sitting out on the patio. Waking up to a mountain view was incredible. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

- "We had a great stay at Trappers' Cabin - secluded and cosy as it was, it was the perfect place as our base for day trips to RMNP. The house is a striking wood construction in the old style and we enjoyed seeing a wide range of birds, including hummingbirds. The yard was a little overgrown and with several structures that are off limits for safety but we still found places to sit of an evening. Casey and Michele were quick and easy with their answers to our questions and even went out of their way to post us back an item we forgot after our stay. Thanks for having us!"

- "We loved staying at this cabin! My husband and I brought our 2 kids for vacation and the space was perfect for us. Great kitchen with plenty of cookware, dishes and appliances to prepare our meals; very comfortable beds, some cool features like the electric fireplaces and light-up sink our kids enjoyed. The spa barn was so nice to be able to relax in the hot tub, do some exercise or yoga, or just sit and read. Our kids loved playing in the stream and making s’mores by the fire pit. We also loved the location; we wanted to visit Estes Park but I’m so glad we stayed a little outside of town for the quiet, slower pace. We enjoyed the close access to lots of great trails as well. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had, and always so friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again if we find ourselves visiting RMNP!"

*** Please note, if you are traveling to the area to explore Rocky Mountain National Park, especially during the busy summer season, we advise making a reservation to enter the park prior to travel, one month in advance of your stay, to ensure there is availability on the days of your travel.

Also, there is a separate residence also on this property; however, it is on the other side of the creek, with views blocked by trees to ensure your privacy while on vacation. Both cabins share the spacious driveway.

Additional things to note before booking and arrival:

1. Before driving into the mountains, we suggest entering the address in your GPS so you arrive at the destination with ease, as cellular connection in the mountains will be spotty.
2. 4WD/AWD strongly encouraged when staying in winter and spring. Guests can easily get stuck at end of driveway without 4WD/AWD if there’s snow. 4WD/AWD vehicles shouldn’t have an issue.
3. Bathroom facilities are eco-friendly. If the toilet seems low-pressure compared to what you're used to, it's because it's a water-conserving toilet. Welcome to the mountains!
4. Enhanced water filtration system, supporting an uninterrupted flow of fresh mountain water to our cozy cabin!

Outdoors: We've encountered wildlife on our mountain property big and small! Keep aware of larger creatures. Depending on the time of year, you may sight mountain lion, coyote, bear, moose, elk, deer, rabbit, chipmunk, mouse, birds, and small fish in the stream. Located 15 minutes from Estes Park Downtown, the cabin is nestled in the archway to the Rocky Mountains.

During your stay, enjoy a view of Mount Meeker and partial view of Longs Peak, as well as the relaxing sound of a creek.

You will be minutes away from trailheads to waterfalls, bike trails around Lake Estes, and casual shopping and dining in Estes Park.

Conveniently, the cabin is located off of Hwy 7, there will be traffic noise, but sitting stream side or in the hot tub does mute the noise. Also, this for easy access from the Denver-Boulder area.

4WD/AWD recommended in winter/spring.

At 9 secluded acres-Mountainbrooks Aspen Cabin
Cabin
Allenspark

Mountainbrooks Ranch Aspen Cabin is one of 2 cabins (also see Mountainbrooks Boulder Cabin) on our family guest ranch located on 9 acres with trees, meadows, streams, and wildlife—just 12 miles south of Estes Park, Colorado, on Highway 7 near Rocky Mountain National Park. Permission required for pets. This modest, rustic, and quirky cabin is great for a quiet mountain getaway or a family vacation. We have free WiFi, free USA long distance phone service, and a TV with Chromecast streaming.

The space
Mountainbrooks Ranch is our family-owned guest ranch which has been in operation each year since 1948. So 2023 was our 75th Anniversary year. Aspen Cabin is a modest, rustic, and quirky mountain cabin in a wildlife area - not a new luxury condo or hotel. The original construction of Aspen Cabin began in 1924, so in 2024 we celebrated Aspen Cabin's 100th birthday! The surrounding acreage is a delightful sample of high-country beauty just off the world-famous Peak to Peak Highway.

Please take a look at our photos which were all taken on the Mountainbrooks Ranch property. Please note that interior photos usually make rooms appear larger and better than they are. For example, the bathroom and the small bedroom in Aspen Cabin are small rooms - and some rooms have stained ceilings from water and other damage years ago. Over the years, we have put our efforts into function instead of appearance. So the roof, fixtures, and appliances are all in good working order, but paint and other finish details have a lower priority (like many old mountain cabins). But unlike many old mountain cabins, Aspen Cabin has free WiFi internet service and free long distance phone service to anywhere in the USA. There is also a TV with a Chromecast device so that you can stream on the TV any compatible video services that you have on your smartphone like YouTube or Netflix. In 2020, we were finally able to get faster internet service.

In 2019 we installed new flooring throughout Aspen Cabin! The luxury vinyl floors look like maple wood or gray stone. We also remodeled the bathroom. It is bright and clean!

Aspen Cabin was originally built in 1924 as a small guest cabin. Over the years, many additional rooms and features have been added to the cabin. Granddaddy even had an amphitheater built outside so that he could entertain guests in the 1950s with slide shows and organ music!

The primary bedroom has a private door to the bathroom. The middle bedroom has a privacy curtain to separate it from the small hallway and the other door to the bathroom. The small bedroom has a door to separate it from the living room but is open to the hallway to the bathroom. Each bedside has an extension cord (for your phone charger or other electronic device) and a lamp for each person.

The living room has a single bed and a large sofa. The porch room has an additional dining table and two recliner chairs.

The utility room contains the water heater, iron, and other tools and storage items.

Our cabins are cleaned and checked before and after each guest. However, there is no way to prevent occasional bugs, moths, flies, mice, etc. from getting inside the cabin - or in any mountain cabin! We keep a mouse trap bucket in the crawlspace under the cabin. We just want to make sure you are aware of this.

During a winter storm in 2019, a double-topped pine tree blew over and is now leaning over locked into two other trees below and away from the deck of Aspen Cabin.

Since Mountainbrooks Ranch has operated since 1948 as a Guest Ranch pursuant to Article 4-507 D of the Boulder County Land Use Code, we are not required to obtain a Boulder County Vacation Rental License.

For more information about things to do in this area, please see our Mountainbrooks Ranch Area Guidebook on Airbnb.

Guest access
Guests may access all parts of the cabin except the basement or crawlspace area under the cabin. The basement area is not a part of the rental area and should not be accessed except in an emergency. Guests are welcome to explore and hike around the nine-acre property within the barbed-wire fences. Please do not disturb other guests in Boulder Cabin. Please do not disturb other people's vehicles, the garage building, the outhouse, or the old wood-fired stove near Aspen Cabin.

We did not disturb the previously-existing wood floors in the living room and bedrooms. We updated some of the fixtures in the bathroom and repainted the bedrooms. We also applied new stain to all of the exterior walls of the cabin.

Boulder Cabin was actually built on a very large boulder! Although the floor is very slightly sloped, it has never moved. The story is that it was started as a project for a high-school shop class in the late 1940's. Granddaddy bought the property and hired a builder to complete the cabin and the beautiful fireplace after the class had abandoned the project. But since the floor had already been built, it was left with the slight slope.

Both bedrooms have private doors to a very small hallway which leads to the bathroom and the living room. There is a large sofa in the living room and a single bed in the porch room. Each bedside has an extension cord (for your phone charger or other electronic device) and a lamp for each person.

There is a small deck outside the porch room's back door which is a nice place to sit and enjoy the meadow with its very large ponderosa pine trees.

Log cabin with mountain views & hot tub near RMNP
Cabin
Allenspark

Escape to the Wildwood Log Cabin, an authentic rustic log cabin experience nestled in a remote mountain town, just minutes from the Wildbasin entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. With breathtaking views of Mount Meeker from the living room and hot tub, this cozy retreat feels like you’ve stepped into a Christmas movie, where snowy peaks, crackling fires, local wildlife, and starry nights set the perfect scene for your getaway.

The space
The cabin has a wood burning fireplace in the spacious living room, with a large sectional that pulls out into a sofa bed. The sofa faces two large picture windows, where you can catch a glimpse of the mountains through the trees, for a cozy night in watching your favorite movies on the TV. Next to it, is the dining area for your meals, or playing some board games!

KITCHEN & BREAKFAST BAR:
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities to cook. You will also find a fully stocked breakfast bar that has a toaster, tea kettle, Nespresso machine, ice maker, and microwave. I’ve stocked it with 9 flavored syrups so you can try a new fun latte or coffee every morning.

BEDROOMS:
There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds. Bedroom 1 has a softer mattress, while bedroom 2 has a firmer mattress. There is some clothing storage, and charging stations for each nightstand.

BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a small shower with hot water and shampoo, conditioner, & body wash. (The walls are just 1 layer of wood so please be aware of the lack of privacy when it comes to sound. I do provide a white noise machine/speaker)

PARKING & EVs:
There is an EV outlet for charging your electric vehicle, and 2 parking spots. Please be advised to not leave food or anything that smells like food in your car, especially in the summer, due to wildlife.

CAR RENTALS:
If you are in need of a rental vehicle, I have a 2012 Toyota RAV4 Limited 4WD and a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid AWD that are available for rent near Denver. Please message me to ask for more information about this.

BACKYARD:
The back patio faces Mount Meeker, where you can relax in the hot tub while enjoying the views. You can hear the water from the small seasonal creeks nearby from spring until fall. There is also a gas fire pit surrounded by seating, & accessories for making s’mores. There is a large picnic table, and a charcoal grill available. At night, you are able to turn off the patio lights for stargazing. It’s nearly impossible to not see a shooting star with the lack of light pollution in the area! I’ve also added a long lead for the pups to safely enjoy the backyard. (There will be a security camera in this area for insurance & liability purposes due to fires & wildlife, but please don’t worry, I don’t have time to watch it 😂)

DOGS:
Up to 4 dogs allowed! There is a pet fee of $50 per dog. After the first dog, the fee gets requested separately. Please make sure your dog is supervised outside at all times.

MOUNTAIN VIEWS:
The cabin faces the Twin Peaks, where Mt. Meeker can be seen from the living room and one of the bedrooms. Mount Meeker sits tall and pretty at 13,916 ft making it nearly a 14er. Long’s Peak is behind this mountain, connected by a ridge. Mt. Meeker is usually combined on the hike of Long’s Peak, which is one of Colorado’s 14ers. Mount Meeker is a top 100 summit, rated class 3 and is Rocky Mountain National Park’s second highest summit, following Long’s Peak at 14,259 ft.

I am working on adding a cold plunge, and a sauna by mid-summer. 😊

Places in town:
- Meadow Mountain Cafe - breakfast cafe with excellent quality food
- Rock Creek Tavern - large restaurant with bar that serves pizza, sandwiches, and other American foods
