- "The property itself is very cozy and comfortable. It’s a bit on the small side but if you only have five or six like us, it should do fine. The fishing and water near the home were great. My grandson got a taste of catching his first trout. We brought bikes and had a nice time going into town and riding across the street to the park. The home is located near the railroad tracks, so those were a bit noisy at night, but can act as a good noise machine! The owner was exceptional. He checked on us to make sure all was well, and if we needed anything. His communications were always prompt, and when the unexpected came up, he made sure that we were taken care of. Epic Colorado Mountain Cabin with views that will take your breath away! Remote yet near everything..... and totally Colorado. 4x4 recommended in winter months. 36 acres to walk around on the hillside that will get your heart pumping. Close to Fraser-Granby trail, 1 mile, that provides for miles of amazing groomed trails in winter months and biking and hiking in other months Wild animal sightings such as bears and moose are not unusual especially in the summer and fall months. Encounters, if any, are usually not aggressive or problematic. Cabin property is mountain hillside with plenty to explore. Rooms of cabin are all large, especially Master Bedroom that has an en suite luxury bath that is hard to leave!! Radiant heat in floor and fireplace provides warmth and ambiance. Deck is perfectly positioned to see for dozens of miles and perfect for nighttime stargazing! You'll be amazed at how much is up there at night. Cabin can hold 10+ with bunk room over 3rd bedroom, and loft area can sleep 2 or 3.

Biggest complaint from guests has been having to is so peaceful and serene. Hunters love remoteness and access to local lands. Families love the size and proximity to both Granby Ranch, Devil's Thumb and Winter Park Resorts. Not too far from Rocky Mountain National Park 25-30 minutes to Grand Lake which is the western access to the Park.

Make sure 4x4 SUV is vehicle you'll be arriving in during snow months. Summer cars are fine but "shoulder months" around snow season (Oct-May) could be tricky. Snow tires helps with any vehicle if you can have them.

The activities accessible from this property are almost unlimited.

Come stay in our cozy log cabin in the mountains! Beautifully made 1,300 sqft log home with wood burning fireplace, huge private yard, loft and 3 bedrooms (sleeps up to 6). This cozy cabin has 1 private acre with lots of wildlife, hiking and riding trails. In the heart of Granby! Minutes to the slopes at Granby Ranch, Winter Park, Snow Mountain Ranch, Lake Granby, Grand Lake, 3 Golf Courses & Rocky Mountain National Park. Edgewater neighborhood which boasts a community pool and hot tub, playground, three fishing ponds, and is steps from the Fraser River. Lots of comfy sleeping, In addition to the 3 bedrooms there is a bonus room with a pull our queen sized bed.

The space
This cabin is in the cutest most family friendly neighborhood in Granby! 25 cabins surrounded by 3 stocked ponds and the Fraser River. Within steps of the cabin is a hot tub and an outdoor heated pool open Memorial Day weekend - Sept (sometimes earlier & open sometimes later - just ask!), a kids play area too. Fishing is allowed with a pole for the kids at the kids pond and all ponds and the Fraser river allow fly fishing.

House is minutes from Granby Ranch Ski area and just 22 miles from Winter Park (a shuttle is available from downtown Granby - just 3 minutes from the cabin), and for cross country skiing Snow Mountain Ranch is just a 10 minute drive.

This cabin is set up for Comfort! Two bedrooms with King Sized beds, a third bedroom with a full over full bunk set, and a bonus room on the main level with a pull out queen sized bed.

The master bedroom is upstairs with king sized bed, dresser, closet, private bath with tub and shower, and opens to a deck with lots of seating and a fire pit to enjoy. Has a television and comfy bedding.

The guest bedroom also has a king sized bed, television with Netflix, large closet, and a great laundry area with full sized washer and dryer. In the closet you will find a set of drawers as well as baby gates and a pack and play.

The middle upstairs bedroom hosts the full over full bed, closet with drawers for storage and extra storage space under the beds and in the cabinet in the hall.

Hall bath has a nice sized shower, places for storage, lots of towels, wash cloths, and hooks! Both upstairs bathrooms have hair dryers, and all bathrooms have soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided.

All bedrooms have full length mirrors, drawers to unpack things in, hooks to hang towels and coats, and lots of space under the beds to store away luggage! The hall chest contains games, books, cookbooks, and beach towels. And there are more toys in the bench in the family room on the main level.

The downstairs bathroom is a full bath with a shower. Every bath has lots of towels stocked and many hooks to hang your things on.

The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of cooking utensils and supplies. Blender, Instantpot, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, crock pot, and mixer - along with cookie sheets, rolling pins, some spices, and many roasting containers for cooking or left overs. Gas stove, big refrigerator, and dishwasher too.

The bonus room in the front of the lower level has a queen sized pull out couch and can be a work room to get away from the action as the pocket sliding door can be closed for privacy. The closet in this room contains many supplies for your use - first aid (heating pad), tools, shovels, high chair and more!

The comfy family room boasts a large reclining sectional, a direct vent fireplace for instant coziness, toys, throws, television and remotes! Television has Netflix, Youtube TV, as well as Amazon Prime. This room opens to a lower deck that looks out to the waterfall pond area just steps from the pool and hot tub. On the wrap around deck you will find lots of seating, a table that expands to seat 10, and a barbeque grill (propane powered).

The dining area has plenty of seating for your group - two benches and four chairs - additional chairs are there in case you need them.

We bought in Edgewater as there are so many things to keep you busy right there in the neighborhood while waiting for others to get ready, etc. AND there is an endless list of things to do offsite - all times of the year! The proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park (our favorite place to see elk & moose - ask us for the secrets!), Grand Lake, Granby Lake, and Winter Park make for so many memory-making opportunities!

Just ask us for contacts for child care, onsite family photography, and activity suggestions for all ages and physical fitness levels! They are all there - minutes from your cabin!

Swimming Pool: opens as soon as night time temps are above freezing (sometime between Memorial Day weekend and mid June) and stays open through September.

Getting Around:
Pretty much all of our guests bring their car. The pool & hot tub are walking distance from the house (please see the guidebook for detailed info on pool/hot tub hours). The town of Granby, Ski Resorts and most Hiking requires a car.

Short drive to Summit Colorado's best skiing, including Winter Park and Steamboat Springs. Whether you're looking for a family getaway or a place for your group of friends, this is perfect for you. Other activities in the area include: mountain biking, kayaking, white water rafting, 4 wheel driving.

This home will be impressive from the time you walk in with the large windows and huge deck both on the upper and lower levels. The home boasts incredible overlooks of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Continental Divide. There is a large kitchen with granite countertops, real hardwood floors, dual ovens, 2 fireplaces and a wet bar in the basement. Oh and did we mention the private hot tub?!

Our Main floor offers our living, dining, and kitchen area (no stairs required to access). Our dining table features seating for 8 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Step outside onto our upper level back deck for 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and enjoy nature gazing from our patio table! There is also a gas grill for your use on this deck area. Also on this level is our master suite with king size bed and attached en-suite bath with shower and soaking tub. As well as an entry room with storage for your ski clothes, and another full bath.

Upon entering our basement level you will find another huge family room with 80" TV, plenty of seating on the sofa's, a game table, and gas fireplace. Step outside the door and enjoy your private hot tub after a long day of skiing, or just enjoy the views from the expansive deck area! We have three more bedrooms on this lower level- a queen with ensuite bath, and a bunk room with full over full over bunks and queen bedroom with shared hall bath.

Kitchen Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to create wonderful meals for all your guests. There is a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range and stove. We have included all the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen and have tried to have it available in our mountain home. We are fully stocked with pots, pans, baking supplies, utensils, dish ware and cutlery!

Entertainment : The home has all the entertainment amenities that you want. Both living areas feature High Definition TVs with an HD cable TV. We also offer high speed internet with WiFi connection. You will need to bring a laptop or other device with you to access the internet.

We have an outdoor hot tub on the back deck with easy access, no need to trample through ice and snow! It is so wonderful to sit in the hot tub after a day spent in the outdoors and enjoy the stars.

General Amenities: All Winter Park House properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker(Keurig and standard), cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances(griddle, crock pot, blender, food processor, rice cooker and waffle maker).

We also have a heated garage with plenty of room for your ski equipment and mountain bikes, as well as a new large capacity front loading washer and dryer for your use.

This home will be impressive from the time you walk in with the large windows and huge deck both on the upper and lower levels. The home boasts incredible overlooks of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Continental Divide. There is a large kitchen with granite countertops, real hardwood floors, dual ovens, 2 fireplaces and a wet bar in the basement. Oh and did we mention the private hot tub?!

Our Main floor offers our living, dining, and kitchen area (no stairs required to access). Our dining table features seating for 8 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Step outside onto our upper level back deck for 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and enjoy nature gazing from our patio table! There is also a gas grill for your use on this deck area. Also on this level is our master suite with king size bed and attached en-suite bath with shower and soaking tub. As well as an entry room with storage for your ski clothes, and another full bath.

Upon entering our basement level you will find another huge family room with 80" TV, plenty of seating on the sofa's, a game table, and gas fireplace. Step outside the door and enjoy your private hot tub after a long day of skiing, or just enjoy the views from the expansive deck area! We have three more bedrooms on this lower level- a queen with ensuite bath, and a bunk room with full over full over bunks and queen bedroom with shared hall bath.

Kitchen Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to create wonderful meals for all your guests. There is a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range and stove. We have included all the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen and have tried to have it available in our mountain home. We are fully stocked with pots, pans, baking supplies, utensils, dish ware and cutlery!

Entertainment : The home has all the entertainment amenities that you want. Both living areas feature High Definition TVs with an HD cable TV. We also offer high speed internet with WiFi connection. You will need to bring a laptop or other device with you to access the internet.

We have an outdoor hot tub on the back deck with easy access, no need to trample through ice and snow! It is so wonderful to sit in the hot tub after a day spent in the outdoors and enjoy the stars.

General Amenities: All Winter Park House properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker(Keurig and standard), cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances(griddle, crock pot, blender, food processor, rice cooker and waffle maker).

We also have a heated garage with plenty of room for your ski equipment and mountain bikes, as well as a new large capacity front loading washer and dryer for your use.

- This is a no-pet home, but the home may not be allergy-free.

Our HOA requires the following: Trailers, campers, RV’s, and boats cannot be parked on the property for more than 24 hours. All vehicles must be parked in driveway overnight
- ATV’s, dirt bikes, snow mobiles and any other off road motorized vehicles may not be driven on community roads or properties
- No loud outdoor noise between 10 pm to 8 am daily
- Outdoor lights should be turned off by 10 pm
- Guests must adhere to all county fire bans. Fireworks are not permitted in Grand County.

If you enjoy nature, deer will graze, coyotes may yip as the sunsets, badgers will burrow, and owls, magpies and eagles will soar across the land. There are bugs and spiders, and you might even see a snake. If any of these things bother you, the Granby Overlook is probably not for you.
Two exterior security cameras located at the front door and lower level back door to monitor the exterior of the home record video and sound. Cameras are not continually monitored. There are no cameras in the interior of the home.

- "The cabin is located in a very scenic area and has nice views. I am sure it is very nice in the summer, but a real problem in winter. The cabin is 9 miles off highway on winding muddy, snowy, icy largely unkempt road. Huge storm was blowing in on last night, so I left early. Property owner refused to refund for last night. No way it would have been possible to safely exit the property after the storm. Also, it should be noted no TV, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no microwave, no oven, no central air/heat, and very poorly equipped kitchen. I am sure this can be gleaned from the listing, but this summary may help."

- "If you’d like quiet and not a lot of people around during the winter time, this is a great place to go, but it is far from town. There are no restaurants there. Expedia did not have a very good explanation of what to expect with the room. It said it was one bedroom one bath, but when they arrived, they stated the bath was not inside. It was out a shared bathroom And it was a dry cabin. We had to pay more to get a cabin that had a bathroom inside. We enjoyed our time up there. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating. We enjoyed the cabin, but I did not enjoy the bed. The mattress was too hard for my taste and it had a low spot on one side mattress is too hard for me. "

Guests are welcome to enjoy the community pool, hot tub, and playground. (please see the pool/hot tub schedule under Other Things to Note). In our neighborhood guests will have access to the entire 3 bedroom home, deck with webber grill, balcony, washer and dryer,
as well as many neighborhood amenities - including pedal boat and multiple areas to fly fish.
Parking: 2 standard size parking spaces are available. Additional parking is available at the North End of the resort to the right of the owners' sheds if you have more than two vehicles and/or trailers

This 2 bedroom , 1 bath cabin is located about 3 miles from Fraser so you will be close to everything you need and to all Valley activities. The cabin sits on 4 acres. You can see the neighbors but it is still somewhat private. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed . The cabin is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, propane grill, outdoor private hot tub, washer and dryer, 42' tv with satellite, fireplace, and garage There is currently no WiFi at the cabin.

Living room: The sectional comfortably seats 5-6 people, with 2 additional seats at the bar top table directly behind the couch. Bedroom 1: King bed with empty closest and multiple shelves. Sliding window with blackout curtains. French doors that open to the side of the house with blackout curtains. (There is a step down into the bedroom that is marked with red tape.) Celling fan and box fan available.

The space
Watanga Cabin is one of the oldest cabins at Arapaho Valley Ranch, dating back to the 1940’s. It has been updated since then and is our largest cabin that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people.

Watanga Cabin is one of our most private cabins, sitting near the front edge of the property. The cabin is conveniently located just a short walk from the historic lodge where you can shop for wood, ice, snacks and camping gear at our country store and enjoy games and a drink at The Red Dog Saloon.

The first floor has a living room with a couch, TV, dining area, newly renovated kitchenette, and newly renovated full bathroom. The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed (full on the bottom and twin on the top). The second floor has two sleeping areas, each with queen beds.

For an additional guest, a cot can be provided for $25/night, please call or email AVR before arrival.

To enhance your stay, a resort fee is included with each accommodation, offering access to an array of seasonal and year-round amenities. All activities are available on a first come, first served basis. During the summer, dive into adventure with canoes, paddle boards, mountain bikes, fishing poles, and outdoor games like volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, and ping pong. We do provide snowshoes in the winter. We have two extra ski helmets, sleds and a snow-fort building kit that provides hours of entertainment.

In the summertime you will find kid fishing poles, and several construction trucks to dig in the sand.

If you prefer to spend time inside, will find dozens of games to play for all ages. We have a toy box stocked with toddler toys and you'll find coloring books and even a LEGO set to keep you busy.

If you're bringing a little tot in tow, we have a pack and play, a highchair, a booster seat and two baby gates to make your packing easier.

Located 15 minutes from Winter Park Ski Resort and less than 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, this modern getaway offers a mix of adventure and relaxation in the heart of the Rockies. The space
Our master bedroom includes a king Tempur-Pedic bed, en suite bath with a double vanity, and a private deck with seating. Guest bedroom #1 has a king bed and desk work station. The lofted guest bedroom #2 has a queen bed and desk work station. The two upstairs guest bedrooms share a large bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub. Newer washer and dryer are on the second floor near the guest bedrooms. The main-floor guest bedroom has a double bunk bed on the bottom with a twin bed on top, and a twin pull-out trundle bed underneath. A full bathroom is right next to this bedroom.

The main floor is an open concept kitchen / dining / living room with vaulted 30' ceilings in the main room with wood-burning fireplace, 55” Smart TV, and vinyl record set up. Our record collection is limited so bring some of your favorite tunes with you, or if you're more into wireless speakers, virtually plug into our Sonos system.

Our chef's grade kitchen recently got a big upgrade (2023) including a 5-panel induction cook top, induction oven, and an oversized refrigerator that includes a beer fridge for keeping the beverages cold & ready to go! The custom-built floating shelves are adorn with a range of plants and objects collected from our travels to over 85 countries. We also have a cabinet full of games to keep everyone engaged and having fun.

The hot tub is indoors and can accommodate 6 people but we find having 4 to be more spacious. It's original to the house and brings back the amazing '80s vibes with a full wall of mirrors and cedar panels lining the room. There's a sliding glass door which is great to leave open to see the stars! The sauna is next to the hot-tub room and is loved, especially in the cooler months. The door is tight by design, so pull hard!

The two-car garage has a 220-v Tesla electric charger for quick charging and keeping your vehicle/s out of the snow. We have an extra garage opener remote for you to use during your stay.

Extra awesome last note: we have great wifi for the mountains (best you will find!) - it's Starlink - It’s amazing and the connection here is faster than our place in Denver!

You can let yourself in and out with a key pad on the front door. We do use video outside for security reasons, so if you plan to have pets and/or more than the 8 person limit, please let us know ahead so we can avoid awkward conversations.

Other things to note
We have a 3-person sauna which is our favorite thing to do after a long day of skiing or even a short hike. If you partake in the hot tub, please shower first (see rules section!). When you're not using the hot tub, please put the cover on so the heat doesn't escape and warm up the room.

We're a pet-friendly home but given the additional cleaning required, we need to collect a $100 pet cleaning fee. Since we're in the mountains surrounded by wildlife, it's advised to keep your pet on a leash when outside to avoid unwanted encounters with wildlife that could injure your pet.

All mountain homes in this area are on a well and septic system so we ask for both water consciousness and sensitivity around what is flushed. Please only flush toilet paper! We have a 24/7 maintenance company to help with the day-to-day response to things, but in the case of a more significant repair or issue, availability and accessibility up here is tight so response times can take a bit longer. It's very important to us to maintain the house for our guests so please let us know if something breaks during your stay so we can get it fixed asap! Please don't wait until you leave, please let us know right away so we can have it fixed for you and the next guests.

This charming cottage which was recently renovated is nestled on the edge of Granby Lake. It boasts 360 degree views with a 2 minute walk to waters edge. The cozy living room has an expansive sliding glass door looking out on the lake and mountains. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a large built in bench eating area. The driveway which has easy access allows for boat parking. Close to RMNP w/& many outdoor activities incl. ski, boating, hiking,snowmobiling, fishing, paddle boating, etc.

Things to do in the Lake Granby area: Winter: great hiking is two miles away on Doe Creek Trail, cross country skiing at The Nordic Center in Grand Lake, family activities at YMCA, Grand Lake has great dining and family activities, Ski Granby Ranch is perfect for families, Hot Springs, Ice Fishing. All of these are less than 30 minute drive from our mountain home. In the summer, don't miss the fabulous Musical Theater in Grand Lake, swimming and fishing near the myriad shores of Lake Granby, rent a pontoon boat for the group, hiking close by to Monarch Lake, Roaring Fork, and Rocky Mountain National Park is less than a 30 minute drive.

Boat Trailers and Toy Haulers
The cottage driveway is approximately 35' long and can accommodate vehicles with trailers. There is no dock at the cottage. Sunset Point Boating Site is about 1 mile down the road and located in the Arapahoe National Recreation Area. The site is single lane boat ramp with a courtesy dock located on the southwest side of Lake Granby. Facilities include restroom, gin pole for raising sailboat masts, and parking for vehicles with the boat trailers. Day use fee applies and boat inspections are required.

Please note there are two RV’s on the neighbors property that are not occupied. The house to the left is an unfinished vacant home. Nobody occupy’s the home or RV’s.

You will see mountain peaks from about every window in the house and it boasts large windows revealing expansive northern views. Take the opportunity to star gaze on the back deck, breathe in the clean mountain air, and relax in this tranquil setting. A sighting of the occasional deer, coyote, badger, owl, hawk, or elk will not disappoint and only bolster the feeling of getting away from it all. Each bedroom has its own living space and full bathroom. The kitchen boasts new, clean appliances and extras such as a slow cooker, steamer, and all the necessities for cooking meals that tempt friends and family to gather together.
As the weather warms, this central location opens up a world of outdoor adventures. Enjoy hunting, scenic hiking, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, fishing , mountain biking, and more. Shopping and summer concerts are close by Winter Park gems. Every Saturday night, you can strap your boots on and walk to the Rodeo to watch the horseback riders with the mountain backdrop. Golfers will appreciate being only minutes from Granby Ranch Golf Course and ~10 minutes from Grand Elk Golf Course. Fly fishing is within easy reach at Fraser River or the Gold Medal waters of the Colorado River, just a short drive away. For motocross enthusiasts, great singletrack riding is ~40 miles away at Snyder Creek.
For convenience, a large grocery store is minutes away.
Our cabin is conveniently located near the 4th of July fireworks display, offering an excellent view of the event from the property. This is a wonderful feature for guests who enjoy fireworks; however, we understand that they may not be ideal for those who are sensitive to loud noises. We kindly ask that you consider this when booking for the week of the 4th.
Situated in the heart of Grand County, it is a picturesque drive to Grand Lake & Rocky Mountain National Park on the north, or to Winter Park on the south. (If you are from out-of-state, please know RMNP access from this area is closed in the winter, and you will need to make reservations to visit the park in the summer months.)
In the cooler months, enjoy the World-famous Cross-Country skiing, ice skating, mini-golf, or the indoor pool at Snow Mountain Ranch (~13 minutes), or more cross-country skiing at Devil's Thumb Resort (~20 minutes). Award-winning downhill skiing at Winter Park Resort is close by as well. Winter wonderland activities that you can find include snowmobiling, sledding, tubing, sleigh rides, dog sleds, ice fishing, hot springs, and more. You are in the hub of winter sports splendor tucked away in our high country corner of the Rockies!

*Please be aware that, in 2025 and 2026, construction will take place behind the home as the city builds townhomes. They are quite a distance away, however if your ideal vacation includes long hours on the back deck, please keep this in mind.

We made this home family-friendly for you! You have full access to the home excluding the garage. Kid-friendly- There is a playpen and a baby gate for the stairs. Although mountain-living in this area doesn’t allow for local TV/antennae , the 2 Smart TVs will allow you to log in to streaming services to access your favorite shows.

During the winter months, snow can be unpredictable. The driveway will be plowed if cars are not blocking the driveway. There are also snow shovels and a bucket of salt at the front door area. Snow and ice removal from the patio, deck, walkways, driveway and landing areas will be your responsibility as a guest.

Wondering about driving to the Colorado Cabin? Not sure that you are comfortable with driving over mountain passes? We hear you! Here are a few helpful hints:
1) Take your time and drive at your own pace. If you feel like going slower than other cars, no problem, but please pull off to the right intermittently and allow cars that want to go faster to pass. If there are 2-3 cars behind you, they don't want you to go faster, they would like for you to pull over and allow them to pass.
2) Use lower gears on your car to control your speed when going down long, steep hills (You don't want your brakes to get too hot and you may not be able to stop at all)
3) Do not coast downhill by shifting into neutral
4) Carry supplies: A candle, jumper cables, spare tire, blanket, food/water, kitty litter for traction
5) Have a car with good tire tread in the winter. AWD or 4WD is advised, but I find good tire tread to be key.
6) Have an ample amount of gas- you never know when you will be sitting for a while.

Finally, mountain life can be unpredictable. Although we do not think any issues will arise, we will not issue refunds for utilities outages, internet issues, weather conditions, snow, road closures, insects, wildlife, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the host”s control.

Winter Park
If it's a snow activity, you can do it here. The skiing is diverse enough to please beginners and experts. Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center and Devil's Thumb Ranch offer plenty of trails and amenities for cross-country skiers and snowshoers and the sledding in nearby Fraser is screamingly good. Sleigh and hayrides are also part of the local winter scene. Or how about a dogsled ride? Visit the Cozens Ranch Museum just north of Winter Park, the site of a stage stop and post office from the 1870s. Be sure to check out the room commemorating Doc Suzie, the first female doctor in the area.
