Extremely Comfortable Cabin Feel, Rustic Decor with Amazing Views & Full Size Kitchen

Come enjoy our cozy mountain getaway that we are willing to share while we are away. A desired top floor end unit making this a quiet and relaxing stay. We are in the Inn at SilverCreek complex located between Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Play in the mountains, swim in the indoor/outdoor pool, then relax in 1 of 4 hot tubs, and sleep in comfort. Kids can also enjoy the game room, play racket ball, and play tennis.

We have been told that this is the best unit in the complex. This top floor end unit (1 of 4) has extra windows and decks with southern, eastern, and northern views. Most of the decks are covered and provide shade, but part is open to the sun if desired. The southern deck is much larger than other decks offered at SilverCreek where six guest can share the dinner table and eat outdoors. Views from our decks over look the pond filled with wildlife and a range that Elk and Deer are frequently spotted during the summer months. Waterfowl, Blue Herring, White Pelican's and mountain peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park can be viewed from the kitchen table, stove or decks. A spotting scope is provided for additional viewing pleasure.

Being a top floor end unit, our getaway has additonal windows for sunlight and taking in the best mountain views. The Beetle-kill pine walls and accents give the unit a cozy mountain feel. The timbers used for the stairs and fireplace mantel make you feel like you are in a cabin.

Our unit offers a complete kitchen (with a FULL-SIZE stove and dishwasher). We like to cook. It's outfitted to feed a large family.

The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed with memory foam mattress. The rustic table and chairs give it that mountain feeling. A rustic retreat to read or work if needed.

The loft is the bunk area for guest. It includes a day bed that can be set up as a king or as two twin beds. Kids alway enjoy the Bunkbeds. A very comfortable futon and chair can convert to a twin bed and a full bed if needed. A total of 7 can sleep on the loft. A table and chairs are provided for playing games and cards or can be used as additional eating space.

Living area features a very comfortable leather couch and chair fit for a king. There is free Wi-Fi in the unit. There is a HD 37" flat screen with a blue-ray DVD player (as well as cable). Kitchen table can seat 6. The extra deck off the kitchen is roomy enough to seat 6 at the table. Enjoy those views of the pond and the lights of Granby Ranch Skiing Slopes which can be viewed while relaxing, cooking, or eating.

Two Full Baths have heated tile floors with dual sinks. If you prefer to relax and soak your tired muscles in private, you can soak in the tub or take a shower if you prefer.

THE AREA
As for summer fun, we are 10 miles from Lake Granby and just 17 from Grand Lake. Boating and fly fishing opportunities abound, as do places for horseback riding, hot air ballooning, or mountain biking. Grand Lake also offers access to the southern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, with Trail Ridge Road taking you over to Estes Park.

OTHER

The Inn at Silver Creek offers many on-site amenities you may not find at other locations. These include a year-round heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 4 hot tubs (2 inside, 2 outside), weight room, 2 racquetball courts, tennis and volleyball courts. The building has elevators to make your stay more comfortable.

There are also a full restaurant and bar, barber, and arcade. Wi-fi is available in the unit and in the lobby/lounge area. If needed, there is a computer and printer available for you to get online that is located next to the front desk.

Our condo has had a complete make over!! From floor to ceiling, we have updated with new flooring, painting & furniture through the unit. Drive into the heated underground parking garage and enjoy the gracious amenities of Base Camp One. This is a gorgeous new home in Granby Ranch, situated right on the Golf Course! The central location of this home allows easy access to all of Grand County's attractions. Hot Sulphur Springs, our best kept secret, is a 15 minute drive. Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Resorts are a 25 minute drive. There are miles of Nordic skiing terrain within short distances of the home, and also at Snow Mountain Ranch, or Devil's Thumb Resort. The three lakes, Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain, and Grand Lake, are all within a 30 minute drive. Outdoor activities include hiking trails, skiing, biking, golfing, fishing, all types of boating, and much more.

The home sleeps comfortably 14 people in beds. This is a 3 level home with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, deck, two living areas, and a loft with a queen futton! Two master bedrooms on the main level - one has a king bed and the other has a queen bed. The lower level has two additional bedrooms: one has a queen bed and the other has a bunk bed with 2 full sized beds. The bunk beds can sleep 4 kids, 2 on the bottom and 2 on top. This home has six bedrooms that accommodate up to 12 people -- 2 king bedrooms, 2 queen bedrooms, 2 bunk rooms (one queen over queen/one twin over full). PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ACCESS THE QUEEN OVER QUEEN BUNK ROOM THROUGH ONE OF THE QUEEN BEDROOMS. There is plenty of room to spread out with several living areas and two huge decks, one with a 10 person hot tub and one with a gas fire pit and chairs.

You and and the kids will have plenty to do with a game room featuring a pool table and Play Station 4, a horseshoe pit, and even a basketball hoop out front. There are outdoor activities galore a short drive away, or stay at home and enjoy a book in the recliner in the reading nook.

My only thought for anyone to consider is the house is about 20 minutes from the main road up winding roads. So you have to add 20 minutes to any trip. The location is about 5 min from the Granby Ski area, 20 min to Grand Lake and 30 min to either RMNP or Winter Park. Sorry no pets.

Other things to note
No pets. No smoking. Trash bin is located in bldg E. Coin operated washer and dryer, and ice machine are located on the first floor of building D. Elevators are two doors down at building D. Like most mountain homes we do not have AC for our summer guests. We have found that opening windows at night to capture the cool mountain air and closing them in the morning will keep the unit cool. In addition fans are provided for comfort. Due to fire code you may burn pre-fab logs only. You may bring your own or purchase them at the grocery store across the street. They may not sell them if there is a fire ban in place.

This home will be impressive from the time you walk in with the large windows and huge deck both on the upper and lower levels. The home boasts incredible overlooks of the Rocky Mountain National Park and the Continental Divide. There is a large kitchen with granite countertops, real hardwood floors, dual ovens, 2 fireplaces and a wet bar in the basement. Oh and did we mention the private hot tub?!

Our Main floor offers our living, dining, and kitchen area (no stairs required to access). Our dining table features seating for 8 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. Step outside onto our upper level back deck for 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and enjoy nature gazing from our patio table! There is also a gas grill for your use on this deck area. Also on this level is our master suite with king size bed and attached en-suite bath with shower and soaking tub. As well as an entry room with storage for your ski clothes, and another full bath.

Upon entering our basement level you will find another huge family room with 80" TV, plenty of seating on the sofa's, a game table, and gas fireplace. Step outside the door and enjoy your private hot tub after a long day of skiing, or just enjoy the views from the expansive deck area! We have three more bedrooms on this lower level- a queen with ensuite bath, and a bunk room with full over full over bunks and queen bedroom with shared hall bath.

Kitchen Amenities: The kitchen is fully equipped to enable you to create wonderful meals for all your guests. There is a full kitchen including a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and gas range and stove. We have included all the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen and have tried to have it available in our mountain home. We are fully stocked with pots, pans, baking supplies, utensils, dish ware and cutlery!

Entertainment : The home has all the entertainment amenities that you want. Both living areas feature High Definition TVs with an HD cable TV. We also offer high speed internet with WiFi connection. You will need to bring a laptop or other device with you to access the internet.

We have an outdoor hot tub on the back deck with easy access, no need to trample through ice and snow! It is so wonderful to sit in the hot tub after a day spent in the outdoors and enjoy the stars.

General Amenities: All Winter Park House properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker(Keurig and standard), cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances(griddle, crock pot, blender, food processor, rice cooker and waffle maker).

We also have a heated garage with plenty of room for your ski equipment and mountain bikes, as well as a new large capacity front loading washer and dryer for your use.

2.) No events of any kind permitted at anytime. Violations will result in immediate eviction and $1500 fine.
3.) No outdoor fires are permitted at anytime.
4.) No more than our stated allowed number of 4 vehicles total at our home. No on-street parking allowed at anytime. Our HOA does fine and tow and you will be responsible for any fine incurred.
5.) All of our rentals are non-smoking. By renting this home, you are stating that you will not smoke in our vacation rentals. You will lose your deposit if evidence of smoke is found once you check out.
6.) You and your guest are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items.
7.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Any fines from the home owner association, as a result of this broken rule, will be charged to the refundable deposit.

Highlights: Location, Amenities, & helpful hosts! Details: We loved the convenient location between Winter Park & Grand Lake. Both offer very different vibes and to be able to access each of them with a relatively short commute helped us to get the most out of a few days stay. It felt remote while also having close conveniences like a grocery store (open later than most nearby). The stores are close enough to be helpful, but they don't overwhelm the area to takeaway from the beautiful surroundings. It overlooks a golf course and the mountains. Our kids loved taking walks hunting for golf balls and wild flowers outside of the course boundaries. Amenities: This is the most comfortable we have felt in any rental we've stayed at. We enjoyed slow mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, starry nights in the hot tub, fire sitting, bag games in the driveway, and more! The kitchen is fully stocked and we appreciated the inclusion of some paper products and ziplock baggies to help us pack some meals to go! We grilled out for dinner and everything we needed was there and easy to find. We were able to enjoy a family vacation and also feel like we had a luxury retreat as a couple enjoying all the amenities after the kids went to bed. Every detail was beautifully designed and well thought out."

The third bedroom is downstairs and has one queen size bed as well as a bunk bed with a twin bed over a full bed.
