No guests will be in the bottom unit during your stay. Guests can park in the driveway, there is enough room for guests to bring up to two cars.

Our neighborhood is blessed with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and valleys. Evergreen is also renowned for its extensive network of hiking trails. Popular trails nearby include the Three Sisters Park, Elk Meadow Park, and Maxwell Falls. While the neighborhood offers a peaceful retreat, it’s not far from essential amenities. Evergreen’s downtown area has grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and other conveniences.

Getting Around:
Most residents and visitors in Evergreen rely on using personal vehicles due to the area's rural and mountainous nature. In fact, an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is required to access our cabin. This is non-negotiable. Although the roads are well-maintained, it can get steep in some areas.

Please note...VERY IMPORTANT - TO CONSIDER WHEN MAKING YOUR LODGING SELECTION DECISION. The LOG CABIN has 22 steps to descend from the parking area to the Cabin (about 90 feet). If anyone on your guest list, including pets, has orthopedic, cardiovascular or any other mobility restrictive physical or emotional health conditions that may impede their ability to comfortably and/or safely negotiate the 22 steps descending to the Cabin, or returning to the parking area by climbing the 22 steps to the parking area from the Cabin you may want to explore other lodging options. The loft; (second bedroom).."The Loft".. is accessed by a steep, yet sloping ladder, that has 3 & 1/2 inch treads with anti slipping commercial type gripping surface. If anyone in your party is mobility challenged, or is a special needs child or adult, or for any reason would be physically or emotionally reluctant to comfortably and/or safely access the loft sleeping area due to the above described abnormal accessibility configuration you might want to explore staying at another of our 5 Evergreen Colorado VRBO listed Vacation

For summer, just step outside your door. Or the Mt. Evans Wilderness is just a short drive. Rocky Mountain National Park is two hours away on the scenic Peak-to-Peak Highway. Winter is a wonderland, a doorway to world-class skiing, snowshoeing, and climbing. The Ponderosa Mountain Home has 3 bedrooms. -Only registered guests are allowed on the property without prior permission.

--Quiet hours are 9pm-7am in our peaceful, residential neighborhood. Our property is perfect for you if you enjoy the serenity and quiet of the mountains, amazing views, and dark nights with lots of stars. Noise carries around the mountain so if you're looking to make a lot of noise or get rowdy, this property is not a good fit for you. Out of respect to our neighbors, Stone Peak Lodge utilizes NoiseAware(TM) technology which records decibel levels on the property. Thanks for respecting our wonderful neighbors and our community!

-You can park a maximum of three cars in our driveway. Driveway sits flat peak. A AWD/4WD wheel drive is not necessary to reach our cabin (we drive a non-AWD/4WD sedan to get there).

-No gatherings or parties.

-Note that there is absolutely no smoking inside AND/OR outside the house or anywhere on the property (due to high wildfire risk). Any sort of smoking will result in a $500 fee and immediate removal from the property.

-Our cabin is a 15 minute winding, scenic drive up through National Park land (that's how we get the views and the peaceful no highway noise vibes), so some guests like to stop for supplies before making their way up the mountain.

-One side of our backyard and one side of the lower patio has a severe drop-off. Great for privacy, but could be a safety issue for young children!

-Not all furniture is child-safed (secured to the wall).

-The backyard Fire Pit and BBQ grill run on propane. Absolutely no wood burning or charcoal burning anywhere on the property or on the mountain due to wildfire risk.

-Well behaved dogs welcomed for an additional fee (make sure to add in a pet when you request to book) Undeclared pets will incur an additional $250 fee.

-Must be at least 27 years of age to book.

-Our (relatively short) driveway is professionally plowed only if there is more than 3-5 inches of snow.

- All weather or snow tires are required if there is snow or ice on the ground. (These should come standard on any vehicle rented in Colorado during the winter.)(For those driving in from warmer climates - all weather tires are not the same as all season tires. All weather tires have more traction.) The weather in Colorado can be unpredictable. It is possible to have snow and ice as early as October and as late as May (though it is most common to see snow December-March, with episodes of snow in November and April). The roads are well plowed because we're on a school bus line, and fully paved. But the road up is winding with multiple switchbacks, so you will want to drive up and down slowly and at times there may be snow and ice that remains on the road even after plowing.

Guests have the entire house including the double private backyard decks with mountain views. Several closets are locked for staff use only.

There is a separate detached garage located 20 feet in front of the house that includes a garage guest suite that is not included in this reservation. The garage and garage suite are not included in your reservation. The garage suite could potentially be owner occupied for part of your stay. You always have full privacy and separation with the whole house, private backyard, and 6 person hot tub.

| Other things to note |

As required by our insurance, we have a security camera facing the front door and driveway only. There is also a camera inside the garage (the garage is not included in your reservation). If the camera is de-activated, we are required to send someone out immediately to re-activate it. The camera is not monitored but will be actively recording during the guests entire stay.

Come and enjoy an amazing mountain get-away in this quaint A-frame house about 20 minutes from downtown Evergreen. This house features a wrap around deck, south and east facing which gives you full sun and an abundance of outdoor living space, dining area and hot tub to use at your leisure. This home is a great family place that provides a quiet place away from the city with a plethora of hiking and biking trails nearby! Important to note: this home is a permitted short term rental.

This A-frame house provides 2 bedrooms and one loft upstairs and a pull-out couch in the living room. One room has an option of one twin bed or a king sized bed at your request. Please notify Kristen in advance if you prefer the king sized bed so that she can arrange the furniture to match your needs. The other bedroom has a queen sized bed. The loft offers one single bed and a desk area. The sofa downstairs turns into a full sized, and very comfortable, bed. So much opportunity for a family to spend some quality time together inside or outside. A full sized and fully equipped kitchen, dinette, a fully equipped bathroom, a TV with all channels (Hulu, Disney Plus, Netflix) and fast wifi. A trampoline is on the property for kids to use. Cub Creek Trail is a ½ mile walk through the neighborhood. Maxwell Falls Upper or Lower Trailhead is about a 10 minute drive away. There is a ton of wildlife around and if you're lucky, you will see the resident moose that live nearby!

I am very respectful of your privacy and time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I have lived in many countries and have found myself here in these amazing mountains and surrounded by nature. My 13 year old son and I may or may not be on the property in my trailer, but I will be out of sight of your living space and respecting boundaries and privacy. However, if I am around and you need help, I will be at your service. I am also a yoga teacher, mindfulness coach and massage therapist and can offer you these services for an extra fee on the property. I am also here if you need any advice or directions on what to do and special events happening in town. If there is anything you need, I will be there. If I happen to be out of town, I have people close by that can help!

There is a lot of art work and other things hanging around the house from my travels. I ask that you respect this and always watch your children. We are in the mountains and as mentioned before, it is HIGHLY recommended that your children are supervised at all times for their safety. My son is 13 and I still feel uncomfortable with him playing outside without supervision because of the wildlife around. There are 2 cats on the property, Lolo and Sloppy Joe, and they live in the house during the winter. They are very friendly and enjoy hikes! If you hike from the house, they might join you!

There are 2 filters, one micron filter and a UV filter, that the water goes through for drinking and it's delicious! Bring reusable water bottles to reduce waste.

If anyone in your party smokes, only ash and put butts in a glass jar with water and only smoke outside. Discard the glass jar when finished.

There is a wood stove and steep stairs. If you require a baby gate, please notify Kristen and she will help to make the space safe for your children. There is also a pack and play available if it is needed. Again, let Kristen know and she will get it all set up for you!

I love my neighbors and I hope you do too! They are helpful, inviting, warm and caring. We are special people living at 9,000 feet. However, we are far apart and we like our privacy as well, so you will have this as well! Please be considerate of the quietness we hold sacred and not be loud after 10pm.

Being at 9,000 feet, it is high up and there are some pretty steep roads. In the summer, you should be able to get to the house with 2WD, however, if there is snow or it is muddy, AWD or 4WD is necessary! Remember to downshift coming up and down...going too fast or not downshifting can make the driving more treacherous and possibly lead you into a ditch. If you need any assistance or directions, please feel free to reach out to me.
Red Rocks is a 45 minute drive all back mountain roads.

PETS…Dogs are allowed, however, undisclosed pets that are not paid for will be charged double the amount of the dog fee from the refundable deposit.

Bedroom with a Queen bed plus a cozy loft with a Full bed. Beautiful views of the forest from both bedroom windows! You may catch a glimpse of deer, foxes, and even moose.

Feel free to make use of the fully stocked kitchen which has many amenities for your use: breakfast seating, coffee maker, microwave, pots & pans, cutlery, and spices. The kitchen table expands to seat 4.

Our space features both a fireplace and wood stove for you to cozy up to with a glass of wine. Heating/cooling is supplied via a mini split and backup wall heaters keep the cabin comfortable all year long.

When traveling to cabins around Evergreen, please make sure you have AWD in the summer months (May-Oct) and 4WD or AWD w/ Snow Tires in the winter months (Nov-April).

- HOT TUB -
Please rinse off before using the hot tub. Body oils and lotions will quickly impact the pH levels and balance of the tub pretty quickly making it dirty and unusable. It will be ready and available for your use. We get it serviced and cleaned every Monday, which is more often than the manufacturer's recommendation, just to ensure it stays in working condition.

- PET POLICY -
We bring our two small dogs to the property for our vacations, and you should also be able to. We allow two small dogs during your stay, and there is a nominal pet fee to accommodate our cleaners for their extra work. But please remember that there will be guests enjoying the property after you. With that in mind, please ensure that your pet is FULLY potty trained and that you clean up after your furry friend (inside and outside).

- QUIET TIMES -
Although this is a reasonably secluded location, there are some neighbors around. As such, we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between 10 pm and 8 am, noise should be kept to a minimum. Thank you!

- SMOKING POLICY -
Please, absolutely no smoking! Unfortunately, a $1000 fine will be applied if we find smoking has occurred on the property. This is not only due ot the damage caused by the smell, but also the increased risk for wildfires in the area.

- PARTIES -
We are a family-friendly property and do not allow parties. If a party is discovered, there will be a fine of $2500 + any damages that occur.

- HOME MAINTENANCE TEAM -
We have a great team of maintenance workers who might visit the house during your stay. Our Hut tub gets cleaned every Monday, and our trash gets taken out on Thursdays. Our team will do its best to remain discreet, allowing you to enjoy your privacy. We just want to make you aware in case you see them out of the corner of your eye!

- WINTER WEATHER WARNING -
This is the Rockies, so you must have an appropriate vehicle (4WD/AWD) when you stay with us in the winter. This is for your safety!

- BREAKAGES -
We understand these things happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately so we can replace or repair the item quickly. We want to make sure each item is available for every guest!

- RANGER RICK'S WILDLIFE RULES -
Many animals are around this area (Deer, Elk, Fox, Coyote, Bear, and more), so please be careful with what you leave outside. We want to refrain from feeding the animals or training them to think they can get a free meal by visiting our property. This can be very dangerous and could harm the animals or another person!

- SMOKEY THE BEAR'S WILDFIRE SAFETY -
The mountain can be very dry during certain times of year. To prevent forest fires started by people (like the devastating Marshall Wildfire in 2021), we ask that you avoid flames when outdoors whenever possible. Keep the mountain safe for us all!

- OUR MOUNTAIN WATER SUPPLY -
Like many others in the area, the house has a healthy water supply, so please be cognizant of your water use. Do not take long showers or back-to-back showers, and do not run the faucets unnecessarily. If you have any water problems, feel free to reach out!

- AMENITY FUNCTIONALITY -
We obviously do everything we can to ensure that every amenity listed is sufficiently cleaned and in proper working order upon your arrival. However, unfortunate circumstances can occur from time to time. If major amenities need to be fixed, we will gladly offer a discount of up to 25% of the nightly stay for each night the amenities are not functioning.

"The Tree House" is located 7 miles from the heart of Evergreen. Close to Red Rocks, local hikes, mountain biking, and Evergreen lake for SUP and fishing. It would be ideal for wedding guests as well. You are an hour from skiing in the winter. New hot tub onsite!

Quiet, quaint location with gorgeous, mountainous views. Hardwood floors throughout the home, 2 outdoor seating areas and a fully fenced yard. There's a large deck off the back of the house great for entertaining and stargazing at night. If you're an early riser, you can usually catch a great sunrise. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a pullout queen sofa. The master contains a king mattress, and the guest bedroom contains a queen mattress. The pullout sofa is located in the living area upstairs. There's also a full downstairs with a bathroom, and another bedroom with a queen mattress. Beautiful, bright kitchen with updated appliances. Quality linens are provided along with coffee and cookware.

You will have access to the whole house and fenced in yard. The laundry room will be off limits. It will be where supplies are kept.

We left the home a little earlier then our check out time, went half way down the road and had to come back to the house as there was a semi truck blocking the entire road to get out. The space
I do not believe in making guests strip the beds, start laundry etc... I try to make this as guest friendly as possible. You aren't required to do that at a hotel, so why do some hosts require you to do that when you are already paying a cleaning fee? I don't! (*see pet exception). I love dogs and do NOT charge extra for pets!

I believe in the "take a little, leave a little" hosting philosophy. This means when you open the fridge there might be a few beers or wine coolers in there for you. Take whatever you want and leave what you don't use. There will also be basic condiments and nonperishable. I hate it when I stay somewhere and have to go out and buy all these little things knowing I am not taking them with me. If this is not your style, I totally respect that, but this is not the cabin for you.

I take every opportunity to make sure you still have the modern comforts when you need them, and relaxation when you don't. There is no better way to get socially distance yourself than a getaway to the mountains while still having all the creature comforts.

This is not a party cabin. Limit of 4 people. Please be mindful that although this is a mountain home and is remote, this is still a house in a neighborhood. Some neighbors live there full-time, work normal hours, and go to bed at reasonable times. After 10 pm, please be considerate and keep the noise down. Sound still travels pretty well at night.

I have been a host for almost 5 years now and a traveler and guest for over 8 years. Unfortunately, there are those who don't like what we do because it upsets the "residential" lifestyle they are used to. I try to do my best to ensure that I follow all local, state, and federal laws in regard to short-term rentals. I pay my taxes and lodging fees. I employ locals to clean and maintain my cabin when I can't. This is only possible if everyone respects and cares for each other; if everyone follows the rules and well frankly, just be good people and good guests.

Bedroom with a Queen bed plus a cozy loft with a Full bed. Beautiful views of the forest from both bedroom windows! You may catch a glimpse of deer, foxes, and even moose.

Feel free to make use of the fully stocked kitchen which has many amenities for your use: breakfast seating, coffee maker, microwave, pots & pans, cutlery, and spices. The kitchen table expands to seat 4.

Our space features both a fireplace and wood stove for you to cozy up to with a glass of wine. Heating/cooling is supplied via a mini split and backup wall heaters keep the cabin comfortable all year long.

When traveling to cabins around Evergreen, please make sure you have AWD in the summer months (May-Oct) and 4WD or AWD w/ Snow Tires in the winter months (Nov-April).

Our cabin provides the perfect getaway for couples or small families looking for a peaceful retreat. Our A-Frame is located just a short drive from downtown Evergreen, where you'll find charming shops, restaurants, and galleries. The area is also home to numerous hiking trails, fishing spots, and other outdoor activities, making it the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

The space
1st Floor:
Upon entering the cabin, you will be greeted by an open-concept living area featuring large windows that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. The rustic yet modern decor and fireplace create a warm and inviting ambiance that is perfect for curling up with a good book or enjoying a movie on the flat-screen TV. On the main floor you'll also find a full bathroom with a washer & dryer unit.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a delicious meal and all the necessary cookware and utensils. A dining table for four is conveniently located nearby, providing a great spot to share a meal or play a game.

Upstairs:
The loft area is considered the 1st bedroom and features a cozy queen-sized bed and tucked into the custom built-in bed frame right off the entrance to the stairs. You'll love waking up to the stunning views of the forest and mountains each morning. You'll walk right across into the master bedroom, making it the perfect spot for parents or couples.

Outside:
Step outside take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Lounge in the hot tub with the infinity edge giving you the relaxation you need.

We are dedicated to providing our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay, and our cabin is equipped with everything you need for a memorable vacation. We are up in the mountains and on dirt roads with areas that have steeper than normal inclines, so please proceed with caution. AWD/4WD is required year round and during November-April snow tires are strongly recommended. Our driveway can be difficult to turnaround in if there are multiple cars so plan accordingly. 2 cars can easily fit. 3 would be max.

We do provide snow removal in the winter months and do our very best to maintain it but with unpredictable weather and winds, we cannot guarantee the drive-way will be completely cleared prior to your arrival. Please come prepared. This means hiking shoes or snow boots with good footing. We do provide snow shovels for guests to use for light snow or in-between snow plows, as well as Ice melt. If you do not have experience in these elements or not comfortable to potentially deal with snow, this might not be the rental for you. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns before booking. If roads are open and you can't make it to the rental no refunds will be issued. This is a beautiful mountain home and you need to be able bodied to access when there is adverse weather.

Starlink is available at the cabin. Streaming and high-speed internet is now available. With any satellite internet, there is a chance it can be spotty at times.

We are a dog friendly rental. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $50. You can select the pet option in the same area you select guest count. If you have missed it, please reach out to us to pay your pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets, multiple month stays and if you are traveling with cats.

This area does have moose, fox, mountain lions, bears, and deer. Do not feed or interact with wildlife.

The Air Conditioning is a mini split system installed in the living room and both bedrooms

There is a weather monitoring camera facing the front entrance/driveway only.

There are no parties or events allowed at the rental.

If house rules are broken we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation.

Our hot tub servicer rotates the service day. It typically falls Sun-Mon. There is a chance the hot tub will be serviced during your stay and may not be useable during the service day. When the water is changed, it takes 12-24 hours for the water to reheat. If this occurs during your stay, we cannot guarantee the hot tub will reach the desired temperature at that time.

The upstairs is our 2 bedrooms. The 1st upstairs bedroom has no door since this is where the stairs connect, can be viewed as a loft space too. You’ll need to go through this bedroom to access the second bedroom.

CHILD PROOFING: Guest understands that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” this house, and accept the risk or harm to any children/infants we allow on the property.

TRAVEL INSURANCE/CANCELLATIONS
We HIGHLY recommend buying travel insurance through your airline company, car rental company, or a travel insurance website. We cannot provide a refund for anything that falls outside of our cancellation policy and the dates that correspond with the policy. This includes date change requests as they are considered the same as cancellations (if the new requested check-in date is a later date than your original check-in date). We cannot provide a refund due to travel related issues or Covid, Please review your cancellation policy if you haven't already. This can be found under your reservation, directly through our listing, or through the website that you booked. In most cases (but not all), you have a minimum of 48 hours to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund. Many reservations may have a longer period for a full refund. *The last mile is unpaved and has some steep inclines. We live at 10,000 feet in the foothills of the Rockies and we receive quite a lot of snow (Oct-May). We require guests to use AWD/4WD vehicles and winter tires to safely access our A-frame during snow months. Colorado Traction laws must be met when driving Colorado winter roads. Please check weather conditions and follow Colorado traction laws.

This rustic cabin, tucked under Colorado boulders, offers a relaxing private escape for those seeking some peace and quiet or just a private space to themselves. With no connecting rooms, this separate unit provides a private outdoor flagstone patio with umbrella, table & chairs as well as a secluded pathway up to the hot tub.

Maximum occupancy 6. Infants 12 months or younger do not count toward room occupancy and there is no additional person fees.

Bountiful cabin can accommodate up to 2 dogs with a $50 per dog cleaning fee. Please let us know prior to check-in if you will be travelling with your dog(s).

Parking is limited, please alert the lodge if you will have more than one vehicle.

Visitors that are not on the guest registration are not permitted without express permission from the lodge owners.

Guests have full access to the property, except for the wood-burning stove, which is restricted for safety reasons, fire pit, grill, and the main bedroom closet, reserved for owner use. However, a designated space is provided for guests to unpack their belongings and hang their clothing. Due to new county-wide fire restrictions, the use of the grill and fire pit is currently not permitted unless it’s for owner use. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize everyone’s safety during this time.

Other things to note
For the privacy and security of all guests, only those listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. All unauthorized visitors must be approved by the host in advance. Any violation of this policy may result in cancellation of your stay without a refund and will be reported to the platform through which the reservation was made. Secluded in the forest at 9k feet of elevation, the ~1,900 sqft mountain cabin rests above the clouds. Nestled in the heart of nature, this charming abode offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking relaxation, adventure, and a touch of magic. Feel the crisp mountain air as you take in the breathtaking vistas. You may even spot forest friends roaming the private 1.5 acres.

The space
This whimsically designed space offers all the amenities needed when escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy scenic views, a fully-equipped kitchen, cozy interiors, a wrap around deck, private hot tub, nearby hiking trails, and high speed internet nestled in the heart of nature. We have 2 bedrooms upstairs, one king and one queen. Downstairs you’ll find the 3rd bedroom with a full-size daybed and a twin trundle that can be pulled out when needed. Every room has an amazing and unique view of the surrounding forest.

Upstairs you’ll also find the open floor-plan kitchen, with live-edge granite countertops, and updated appliances to make you feel right at home. The kitchen opens to a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and sweeping views of the mountain valley. Step outside for a spacious 900 sqft of deck space with more than enough room to entertain and relax. Here you will have a front-row seat to the beauty of nature, allowing you to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

Walk down stairs from the deck to find a private hot tub area that can seat 6 with views from all angles. There are board games, cards, HD TVs and all the amenities you’d come to expect to keep you entertained while making yourself at home.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire home to themselves aside from a small owner’s studio which will remain unoccupied during your trip. When guests are at our home, we will be in our city apartment, located nearby, in case of emergencies. There is a keypad on the front door.

Please do not bother our neighbors unless there is an absolute emergency! We are always one call away, so please let us know if you need anything at all before, during, or after your stay!

VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE, if you are visiting between October and April, we HIGHLY recommend that you have a vehicle with 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with snow tires. We can get a lot of snow during these months. We do have a plow service that will clear the driveway when there is 6”+ of snow accumulation; however, a 4WD and AWD vehicle with good snow tires is key for trouble-free access in the winter months.

There are exterior cameras, one at the front door, under the car port and near the hot tub. These are required for insurance and liability purposes and cannot be tampered with.

Our home offers the best of both worlds! A secluded mountain get-a-way that is in close proximity to everything the Rocky Mountain foothills have to offer.

The cabin is a short but beautiful 20-minute drive to all of the Evergreen town amenities.

This house has a deep well with brand new filters, also a separate filter pitcher in the fridge for drinking water which brings the sediment ppm to zero, meter in the drawer. Tap water is usually 150+ ppm. Please be aware well water has a different smell and taste than tap water. There are no chemicals, fluoride, or other neurotoxins …just fresh water from the creek nearby. The owner has lived here since 2020 and loves the switch to well water!

Suggested to keep bedroom window closed at night, lots of big elk and deer sometimes graze the backyard at night and you could wake up from their steps! No humans walking around here, just animals!

Our home is a 2 bed/2+ bath, multilevel home nestled in the woods. It is most comfortable for 4, but can accommodate 5 using the sofa bed in the basement. This is a non-smoking, pet free home. Please note there are stairs to get to each level of the home.

The space
The main floor boasts a large, well appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook up wonderful meals if you so choose. There is also a comfortable bedroom with queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, dining room table, and kitchen island. The family room has a comfortable leather couch with two built in recliners, and 2 chairs, electric fireplace and 50 inch television.

Upstairs is the loft style primary bedroom, sporting a comfortable king sized bed with premium linens and large walk-in shower.

Enjoy the walk-out basement complete with a 70 inch television and pool table all ready and waiting for you to enjoy the big game or movie nights! Pull out sofa bed is available for extra guests.

Washer and dryer is also available in the basement as well.

Outside enjoy the wrap around deck in the sun, or cozy up to the fire table under the covered portion of the deck. There is a gas grill for bbq-ing.

Guest will have access to the entire house, except the shed behind the house and garage. We will send door code the morning of your arrival by 9am MST.

The garage stores all of our home equipment we we don't have room to park cars inside garage, however we have a driveway that can fit up to 5 cars.

Other things to note
This is one of the best location in Colorado. Easy access to I-70 get access to some of the best mountain biking in the front range area, White water rafting, snowmobiling, shoeing, off roading and hiking within a couple of miles and only 15 minutes to Echo Mountain ski resort. 12 miles from Red Rocks amphitheater.

We are conveniently located at only a couple of minutes from I-70 in Evergreen so during winter months you will most likely experience snow fall, and with that comes its challenges. Make sure you have snow tires for your vehicle if you are visiting during winter season. We plow the driveway every 5-8 inches of snow. We do not offer refund, discounts or take responsibility due to inclement weather condition.

- HOT TUB -
Please rinse off before using the hot tub. Body oils and lotions will quickly impact the pH levels and balance of the tub pretty quickly making it dirty and unusable. It will be ready and available for your use. We get it serviced and cleaned every Monday, which is more often than the manufacturer's recommendation, just to ensure it stays in working condition.

- SMOKING POLICY -
Please, absolutely no smoking! Unfortunately, a fine will be applied if we have to mitigate any smoke damage or smell in the property after your stay. Thank you for understanding.

- PET POLICY -
We bring our two small dogs to the property for our vacations, and you should also be able to. We allow two small dogs during your stay, and there is a nominal pet fee to accommodate our cleaners for their extra work. But please remember that there will be guests enjoying the property after you. With that in mind, please ensure that your pet is FULLY potty trained and that you clean up after your furry friend (inside and outside).

- PARTIES -
We are a family-friendly property and do not allow parties. If a party is discovered, there will be a fine of $1000 + any damages that occur.

- INDOOR FIREPLACE -
Unfortunately, the indoor fireplace is not operational and is solely for decoration. Please refrain from using it in any way. An additional cleaning fee may be applied if it is used.

- HOME MAINTENANCE TEAM -
We have a great team of maintenance workers who might visit the house during your stay. Our Hut tub gets cleaned every Monday, and our trash gets taken out on Thursdays. Our team will do its best to remain discreet, allowing you to enjoy your privacy. We just want to make you aware in case you see them out of the corner of your eye!

- WINTER WEATHER WARNING -
This is the Rockies, so you must have an appropriate vehicle (4WD/AWD) when you stay with us in the winter. This is for your safety!

- RANGER RICK'S WILDLIFE RULES -
Many animals are around this area (Deer, Elk, Fox, Coyote, Bear, and more), so please be careful with what you leave outside. We want to refrain from feeding the animals or training them to think they can get a free meal by visiting our property. This can be very dangerous and could harm the animals or another person!

- SMOKEY THE BEAR'S WILDFIRE SAFETY -
The mountain can be very dry during certain times of year. To prevent forest fires started by people (like the devastating Marshall Wildfire in 2021), we ask that you avoid flames when outdoors whenever possible. Keep the mountain safe for us all!

- OUR MOUNTAIN WATER SUPPLY -
Like many others in the area, the house has a healthy water supply, so please be cognizant of your water use. Do not take long showers or back-to-back showers, and do not run the faucets unnecessarily. If you have any water problems, feel free to reach out!

- AMENITY FUNCTIONALITY -
We obviously do everything we can to ensure that every amenity listed is sufficiently cleaned and in proper working order upon your arrival. However, unfortunate circumstances can occur from time to time. If major amenities need to be fixed, we will gladly offer a discount of up to 25% of the nightly stay for each night the amenities are not functioning.

- QUIET TIMES -
Although this is a reasonably secluded location, there are some neighbors around. As such, we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between 10 pm and 8 am, noise should be kept to a minimum. Thank you!

- BREAKAGES -
Should you break anything, please let us know immediately so we can replace or repair the item quickly. You can rest easy knowing your space is covered with $3,000 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Instead of a hefty security deposit, we charge a minimal $99 fee for this level of protection. With “All-Risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest’s stay is covered unless it’s expressly excluded, such as but not limited to normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. This coverage will help you relax and enjoy your well-earned vacation time without worry!
