Unapproved construction in the unit next door was noisy and then they turned the water off for 8 hours without warning and I had to go find the water valve in the crawlspace at 9 pm and turn it on. The shower water valve would not turn off and so we either had the shower running all day or had to turn off the water valve each time we needed water. The property management company acted surprised and did not offer any kind of refund. They tried to blame me for the issues and said I should have called them at 9 pm at night an they would have come and fixed it - well, I did call them and basically got a "good luck - you're on your own". Overall this place sucked. I am NOT making any of this up. "

The pictures show a nice clubhouse with pool and hot tubs, too bad it was 3 buildings away, difficult and cold to get too in the winter. The reservation said we would receive the access code weeks before arrival, got it the day before. Several emails and notices indicated check-in was at 4pm, the check-in directions received the day before indicated our code would not work until 4:30, no big deal, except we planned travel to check in at 4. Had to register vehicles on line, was never able to on line, had to call property management company for both vehicles. Then one of the vehicles permit expired a day early, had to call the management company to get another day and avoid getting a boot and a $140 fine. Could not get wifi with information provided, had to call management company to figure it out. The TV did not work, they had to send someone over to fix it. Guidelines indicated no smoking, but we had a blanket with cigarette burns in it and butts on the back deck. The reservation said a ski locker was provided, the was one the floor below with our unit number, but no directions to the combo, management company said it must have not been included. "

Just one block to the Blue River trail that connects you on bike or foot all over Summit County and Vail. This is the entire lower level of our home with its own separate entry and mudroom with gear storage. There are 2 bedrooms. 1 has a queen bed with a closet and wardrobe, and the other is a twin bed and 2nd twin trundle with shelving and clothes rack. The sofa in the living room pulls out into a full bed. The living room also has an electric fireplace with a tv and sound bar for streaming. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, induction cooktop, vent hood, and countertop oven/air fryer. A full-size washer dryer is in the unit that is free to use.

If you are travelling with infants or are a very light sleeper, please be advised that we do live upstairs. We are a quiet family, but you may hear some occasional noises of people moving around upstairs.

The unit comes with 2 parking spaces. Once parked, guests walk down a few stairs and then up a few stairs to access the unit on the second level.

Inside, you will find Bedroom #1 on the right with a king-size bed and private bathroom. Across the hallway guests will find Bedroom #2 with a queen size bed and access to the hallway bathroom on the left.

The Loft Bedroom is located off the living room and contains a twin trundle bed, cableTV and bathroom.

The spacious living room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed views of the national forest and mountains. Living room amenities include cable TV, gas fireplace and a queen sofa bed. There is also a private balcony with gas grill.

The unit features an open, fully equipped kitchen and dining area that easily seats 6 and expands to accommodate 8 with extensions provided in the table.

At Black Bear View you will enjoy an updated condo overlooking the Dillon Reservoir, and mountain ranges on all sides! Located near the top of Wildernest, we have National Forest trail access right outside the door, and 4 world class ski resorts nearby. We are frequently updating our condo to make sure it is comfortable and ready to be your Summit County home during your stay. With a bus stop at the entrance of the complex, transportation to Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge is easy!

The space
HOA siding construction is going to begin in April 2025 and all pools and hot tubs are closed. Please see "Other details of note" for further details or reach out to us if you have further questions.

Inside the condo there is an open area containing the living area with a pullout couch and a kitchen with dining table. The oven, stove and refrigerator were all purchased in 2022. There is also a dishwasher with a starter amount of dishwashing detergent for your convenience.

The main bedroom has king sized bed and an en suite bathroom containing a shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen under twin xl. The 2nd bathroom with a full tub is between the living area and bedrooms.

The floor, rugs and interior doors throughout the condo were all updated in 2023.

Guest access
With the exception of locked "owners closets" the entire condo is yours to use. There is a linen closet, 2 bedroom closets, and a coat closet available for guests, so there should be ample closet space available during your stay.

Other things to note
Starting in the late spring of 2025 after the snow thaws, the HOA will begin replacing the siding on our building. This will be noisy and disruptive to guests with access to the balcony being closed. We do not have any firm dates from the HOA yet but we do not expect any of this to start until April at the earliest. We do not know when it will be completed.

Our Condo is on the 2nd Floor of Buffalo Ridge Condominiums. The parking is below the 1st level of condos and there is not an elevator so it is required to walk 2 stories of stairs to reach the condo after parking. There is a rear door to the condo building, without a parking area, that only requires a single flight of stairs. We recommend this rear door for loading and unloading luggage, ski equipment or groceries.

We also wanted to make sure you saw that the HOA is in the process of major renovations, which include updating all pools, hot tubs, and club houses. All hot tubs and pools are currently closed until they can be completely replaced, which will take several months. The timeline is out of our control as to what may or may not be open during your stay.

For your convenience we do provide starter quantities of cooking oil, salt, pepper, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. We do not offer maid service to restock these items during your stay.

We've provided a dedicated desk in the living room with a power strip and extra monitor to set up your remote-work station. Wifi has been tested for video calls and works well. Also in the living room is a Smart TV so you can log in to all of your favorite streaming apps, or watch cable tv for live news and shows.

Two bedroom condo for 4 people. One private bedroom with Queen and one semi-private open loft 10x10 bedroom with a Full bed, accessible by fixed wooden ladder.

Ski, bike, boat at Lake Dillon or hike all day and then enjoy the cozy open floor plan, puzzles and games and premium streaming TV and DISH on 70” screen with surround sound.

The space
Cozy, small footprint with kitchen, living room, one shared bathroom, bedroom with queen bed and 10x10 sleeping loft with full bed. Sleeping loft does not have a closet and two of the walls are the railing for the loft so not very private. If you're expecting a real second bedroom, this loft will disappoint. You are up above the main floor though so it's a nice cozy treehouse feel.

Lofted ceilings, open floor plan and being on the top floor make it feel open and quiet.

One flight of stairs to access apartment. No elevator.
