This luxurious 9000 square foot Ski Estate has it all; Great views, Designer Interiors, six large bedrooms with 5 en-suite bathrooms. Located 8-10 minutes drive from Aspen with ski access to Tiehack and Buttermilk. The very private top level is a luxurious master bedroom suite with separate his and hers bathrooms. The Estate has an office with a broadband connection along with guest access to an Apple Computer and a printer/scanner and fax machine. There is also high speed wifi available throughout the house. The Estate also comes equipped with top of the line kitchen appliances and a spacious eat-in Kitchen. The house also has state of the art (savant) entertainment and theatre systems, an Xbox One, a Pool table, Table tennis table as well as a Karaoke machine and many other games for kids and adults! There is also a full bar set up in the entertainment room and a large hot tub to enjoy after a long day of skiing. There is also a fully equipped gym and a Peloton bike machine for those looking to stay fit at home.
Located on the Buttermilk ski mountain, the Tiehack high-speed quad lift is a minutes drive away. You can also ski out by walking across the street to the ski slope. Buttermilk has fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain, one of the best ski parks in North America and is the venue for the X Games as well home to a great ski school for kids. The estate is also walking distance from cross-country ski trails and the Aspen Recreation Center, which has an indoor pool, ice skating rink and rock climbing.
This incredible estate is less than 10 minutes drive from the best restaurants and shops in Aspen. The Ajax (Aspen) ski mountain and the local favorite Aspen Highlands are approximately 10 minutes drive from the house and Snowmass is 15 minutes away.
In the summer, some of the best golf and tennis courts in the Aspen valley are within 5 minutes of the Estate. This cabin was originally a T-Lazy 7 hunting cabin, built back in the 1970s.

Remodeled in 2019, the cabin has maintained it's rustic charm with the addition of a brand new kitchen + beautiful master bedroom looking out over the valley.

The second bedroom was once an aviary, a room for birds with large glass windows.

The entire upstairs is lofted and holds an office, yoga / meditation space equipped with yoga mats and props, as well as a tea lounge / reading nook that can also serve as a third bedroom with a single mattress.

As our personal home, everything in the cabin has a story of it's own and attracts wonderfully heart-centered individuals who come to enjoy the seclusion + stunning views, with easy access to all that Aspen / Snowmass have to offer.

It is a sincere pleasure of ours to share our magical home with other individuals who are thoughtful, kind and heart-centered.

You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. you may at times see wildlife such as: deer, elk, foxes, raccoons, chipmunks, a wide variety of birds and may even catch a glimpse of a bear depending on the time of year

The Chalet was originally built by Werner and Dory, both born and raised in Switzerland, as a vacation home until they retired in the mid 1990s
The design of the home reflects chalet mountain living that is enjoyed in the Canton of Aargau, and Lucerne where they originally came from.

Chalet 976 also features some of Dory’s oil paintings of the Swiss landscape.
The home is situated on the sunny southside of The Brush Creek Village Mountainside with expansive views of brush Creek Mountain, Hunter Creek, Woody Creek, and of course, the famed Snowmass Mountain Ski area and the top of Aspen Highlands ski area, along with Loges Peak and the side of Highlands bowl. From Chalet 976 you will enjoy a virtually panoramic view.

The chalet continues to remain in the family. Rolf, a resident of Aspen since 1976 manages the newly renovated lower level of the chalet 976.
