The chalet is in a very quite area of Midway. There is a private road through the golf course leading to the chalet. You are surrounded by peace and quiet.

We have 3 bedrooms. 2 kings, 1 queen, and one bunk. There is also an extra pullout bed upstairs. The kings and queens have very comfortable "purple" brand mattresses. It is the mattress I have at home and I want your stay to be as comfortable as possible.

There is a master bathroom off the bedroom downstairs with a jetted tub. The bathroom upstairs also has a jetted tub. The half bath also has a washer and dryer in the room so you can do laundry for longer stays.

The kitchen is downstairs and there is a kitchenette upstairs including a mini fridge sink, and microwave.

I have spent some time in Switzerland Germany and Austria. I love it there and have tried to make this Chalet feel as if you are experiencing Europe too.

The condo had everything we needed and really was within walking distance to get to the gondola that goes to the chairlifts. We cooked our breakfasts and one supper and got groceries from a nearby Whole Foods. There was a nice variety of cooking pans, dishes etc. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. Our son slept on the sofa sleeper which was comfortable once we located the foam topper to put on it. The bathroom set up is nice with 2 different sink areas that have doors to the toilet/tub/shower room. This was a perfect set up for us. The owner, Marnie responded promptly to emails and answered the phone right away when we were trying to find dishwasher detergent. The fireplace makes it cozy and provides heat for the main area. The glass front though does need a cleaning on the inside. The only thing we missed (unless we didn't see it) is a welcome notebook that would give more directions and suggestions like places to eat, how to get to the pool/hot tub, where to find the walking path to the gondal etc. My son and husband really enjoyed the skiing at Park City and I hope after rehabing my knee I can join them again for a repeat stay!"

A short (5 min) walk from the Main Street/Downtown area and a true 3 BD / 3 BA property with ample space for at least six people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, including the loft, which was fully enclosed and private - making it the perfect stay for three couples. The room setup made it feel like no one got the short end of the stick. The hot tub is also a big plus after a long day on the mountain. As for those looking for skiing accommodations, the property is a short walk to the Main Street Trolley line, which provides access to the Town Lift at PCMR, and also the Old Town Transit Center for those who may want to hop on a bus to Deer Valley or Canyons Village. Sometimes the bus system can be a little unreliable and confusing, so I would recommend downloading the myStop app to get updates on scheduling and routes. The owner of this property was extremely helpful and responsive with all of our requests, and sent us a full list of recommendations as soon as we booked the listing. All in all, I would highly recommend to anyone planning a ski getaway - no complaints on our end!"

- "Great accommodations with amazing location. Extremely easy walk to the base of Park City lifts. Unit was modern, well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts were attentive, checking in via text message. Would definitely choose to stay here again!" - "Acorn Chalet's location is amazing! A 10-minute walk in ski boots gets you to the mountain base. Park City is easy to navigate & the bus system is free. Just 1-2 stops to groceries & a liquor store. Downtown is 4-5 stops, about 20 minutes. The photos are accurate - a quaint combo of rustic & modern. The artwork nods to the chalet motif without being tacky. The kitchen is nicely appointed & spacious, with ample room for cooking & socializing. The view from the balcony is not of the slopes on Park City Mountain, but it is a lovely view of the town and a hillside where there are vacation homes. The living room is small – it seats 3 adults comfortably but felt cramped with all 4 of us. The gas fireplace works well. The bathrooms are nice except for a few flaws. There is no shelf in the 1st floor bathroom for toiletries. The steam shower wasn't hooked up. The shower’s body jets don't do much because of a lack of water pressure. Both bathrooms need more hooks for towels & clothing. The bedrooms are cozy & the mattresses are comfy. The master gets a lot of sunlight in the morning. TV's in both bedrooms are a nice bonus. We made a few requests during our stay. There was no dish liquid and we wanted a non-slip mat for the shower. Both items arrived within 24 hours of being requested. We asked for a slightly early check-in (2:00) and our request was granted. We were happy with the Acorn Chalet, and we loved our time in Park City! Highly recommended, especially during ski season."

Although parking is provided, this property requires no vehicle. 30 Yards from your front door are the City Stairs to famous Main St. (4 minute walk), but your home is still ‘out of the noise’ from Main St. SKI IN to “TOWN LIFT” trail by walking 120 yards to the left, ski home using “Quit’n Time” ski run. All of this with a massive ski-prep Mud Room to keep the family ski gear organized before and after a great day on the slopes. Don’t forget the modern jacuzzi on the private deck, just outside the entertainment living level along with BBQ with great outdoor seating. Did we mention the game room with shuffle board, table video game (80 games), oversized jenga and other games. Crib and high-chair? One of each on site!

All bedrooms are large and unique to themselves in style, art, and theme, all with flat screen Internet TV’s, highest-end mattress and comfortable high count cotton bedding and ample closet space in each room.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire/smoke or property damage costs.

PETS - We love pets, but they must be quiet and cared for. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. Pet non-refundable deposit for additional allergy/hair clean process for property is $275. Damage from door/window scratches, furniture chewing, and furniture snow/mud soiling are not covered in clean fee. All property areas including patio and front street must be clean of feces. "No barking" is heavily enforced due to neighbor's right to quiet enjoyment.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9:30pm-8am) are strictly enforced. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation from City. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

As a reminder, I work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, but I cannot always enforce this. The home is located in the prestigious Timbers development. Our neighborhood offers you a true ski in ski out experience with close proximity to Historic PC Main Street and easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc. The home is within walking distance of the Canyon's Ski Village, yet worlds away, surrounded by tall pines trees and direct ski access out your back door. Included in your stay is free access to the exclusive Canyons resort shuttle system which picks you up (and drops you back off) directly from the home and takes you anywhere you wish at the resort for skiing, apres ski drinks, etc. Think of it like your own big Uber resort shuttle. Old Town Main Street is ten minutes away, the shopping outlets and locals area are also ten minutes away.

The house measures approximately 8,000 SF with 8 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The main floor has a spacious, open feel with a large vaulted ceiling great room. Dining room, kitchen and piano room surround the great room. A quaint hearth fireplace room off the kitchen completes the main floor.

Up its own private half flight of stairs the master suite begins. The master suite has a cal King bed, large sitting room and beams throughout the ceiling. The hot tub is off the master suite on a deck overlooking the ski resort, large pine trees and views of the Canyons Gondola and Orange Bubble chairlift. Upstairs are three more bedrooms. The two queen bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom with one of the queen bed rooms having a private balcony. The other room is a king bedroom and has its own separate en suite bathroom. The upstairs queen bedrooms have amazing second story views overlooking the Canyons side if the Park City Vail resort and the new Iron Mountain ski runs. Finally, there is a large central loft family area with couches and a TV.

In the basement is a self contained two bedroom guest suite/apartment with separate direct access from the garage and has its own dedicated ski run access. There is a full kitchen, bath and a washer/dryer. The apt. living room has a gas fireplace and wood floors. The apt. master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom is a Cowboy Old West themed bunk room with a twin bed over a full bunk bed. The apartment can be accessed from inside the house and directly from the garage. The apartment is a fantastic way to allow certain family members to have their own privacy (grandma and grandpa, aunt and uncle, young couple with a baby, etc) while still feeling part of the rest of the group and festivities.

In addition to the apartment downstairs, there is a kids art/play room, dedicated theater room with barn doors that open to a large rec room offering foosball, X-Box, and ping pong. The ski room opens directly onto the ski trail. There is no difficult terrain to overcome or stairs to navigate, just straight out the door and you are skiing. The ski room has lockers and a dryer to warm your gloves and hats during lunch or after a day of skiing. Also in the basement are two additional bedrooms, the first with a king bed (Swiss mtn room) and second (the Olympic themed bedroom) with a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. Those two bedrooms share a bathroom and are located off of the game room. Note, the basement has 10 foot ceilings throughout and natural light with walkout level windows in some bedrooms and the game room and ski room.

The home can be a kids paradise with secret passageways from ladders in closets that lead to a hidden kids loft high above in the fourth story. There is also a Snow White Cottage Art room in the basement for children.

Including the basement guest apartment there are 8 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. There is one Cal King bed (master), a king sized bed (basement guest) three queen bedrooms upstairs, the queen apartment suite bedroom, the apartment bunk room with twin over full and the Olympic room with a queen bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. There are two full kitchens, three dryers and two washers. One wood burning fireplace in the main family living room and three gas fireplaces (Main Kitchen, maser bedroom and apartment guest suite living room).

With more than enough space to comfortably sleep 6 people, Mainstreet Masterpiece gets better around every corner of this beautifully designed A-frame cottage with its stunning views of downtown and the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort, and the Wasatch Mountains.

On the main level as you enter the home you are greeted by a bright and lovely living space with a full kitchen, full bathroom, comfy couches and large sliding doors spilling out onto a gorgeous deck, that serves up some of the best views in Park City. There’s also a corner in the lobby where you can store your gear and boots for easy access. Snuggle up in front of the woodfire stove with your favorite streamer or just watch the sun slowly set behind the mountains.

On the top level lies a cozy and comfy master bedroom, featuring an en-suite with jacuzzi tub, king bed, smart TV, and of course, more incredible views through large windows and a skylight window that baths the space with natural light. A quick snooze in the afternoon sun rays, will be hard to resist!

Venturing downstairs via the spiral staircase to the bottom level you will find a spacious and super fun room! Parking is limited to one car only, but you won’t need your ride as downtown is only a few minutes away by foot where you can catch a FREE Bus to any of Park City’s 3 world-famous ski resorts. The hill to the chalet is really steep so, if you prefer to drive, Deer Valley Ski Resort is only a few minutes away, Park City Mountain Ski Resort less than 10 minutes and Canyons Mountain Resort less than 15 minutes away by car.

Either way you are only minutes away from Downtown Park City and its bustling Main Street, with a plethora of world class restaurants, shopping, entertainment and more! SKI ACCESS: To ski-out, simply walk out the garage and walk around to the back yard, slide through the back fence (see photo) and onto the ski access trail. Follow this trail down to the Sunrise lift, the village and the gondola. On the way back home, from where the Over and Out lift lets you off, simply ski half way down the Retreat trail and take a right on the ski-access trail (Timbers) that leads right back to the house. We advise adults run the route first before taking kids. Also be advised, the trail is weather permitting as there may not be enough snow early and late in the season.

The space
Perched on the hills above downtown Park City Utah, and its renowned Main Street, you will discover Mainstreet Masterpiece, a cozy 2-bedroom, classic ski chalet with jaw-dropping views and a private hot tub to boot.

With more than enough space to comfortably sleep 6 people, Mainstreet Masterpiece gets better around every corner of this beautifully designed A-frame cottage with its stunning views of downtown and the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort, and the Wasatch Mountains.

On the main level as you enter the home you are greeted by a bright and lovely living space with a full kitchen, full bathroom, comfy couches and large sliding doors spilling out onto a gorgeous deck, that serves up some of the best views in Park City. There’s also a corner in the lobby where you can store your gear and boots for easy access. Snuggle up in front of the woodfire stove with your favorite streamer or just watch the sun slowly set behind the mountains.

On the top level lies a cozy and comfy master bedroom, featuring an en-suite with jacuzzi tub, king bed, smart TV, and of course, more incredible views through large windows and a skylight window that baths the space with natural light. A quick snooze in the afternoon sun rays, will be hard to resist!

Venturing downstairs via the spiral staircase to the bottom level you will find a spacious and super fun room! It has heated floors, en-suite bathroom, a Smart TV, 2 twin beds, a queen bed, and it gives you access to one of Mainstreet Masterpiece’s best features… The covered, private hot tub, located behind the chalet. Kicking back and soaking it up with your favorite beverage at the end of an adventurous day, doesn’t get any better than this!

The basement level also features a laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer, incase laundry needs arise.

Parking is limited to one car only, but you won’t need your ride as downtown is only a few minutes away by foot where you can catch a FREE Bus to any of Park City’s 3 world-famous ski resorts. The hill to the chalet is really steep so, if you prefer to drive, Deer Valley Ski Resort is only a few minutes away, Park City Mountain Ski Resort less than 10 minutes and Canyons Mountain Resort less than 15 minutes away by car.

Either way you are only minutes away from Downtown Park City and its bustling Main Street, with a plethora of world class restaurants, shopping, entertainment and more!
