Built in the 1940's, this is truly a mountain cabin with the advantage of being near everything Colorado Springs has to offer. Just outside the front gate of the property is the Midland Trail. At one time the trail was the Denver and Rio Grand Rail Road right-of-way through the town of Manitou as it wound its way up to the gold mines of Cripple Creek, CO. Now it is a city Biking and Walking trail system that gives you access to all of Manitou as well as Garden of the Gods and all of Colorado Springs. Just steps down the road is the trading post at Garden of the Gods. A few minutes up the path and you will find yourself in the historic and often quirky downtown of Manitou Springs. There is a public park right next door to the property that includes a skate park, tennis courts and a kids playground. Across the street you can enjoy the boys of summer play high school baseball. Enjoy the community pool less than 1/4 mile away (by car or by Midland trail) on those hot summer days.
Inside you will find the rustic cabin set up for comfortable and clean stay. There is a full kitchen with microwave, range, oven, fridge and dishwasher as well as granite counter tops and all the utensils and dish-wear needed to support your stay. The one bedroom boasts a comfortable king bed and the bathroom houses a 6ft Claw Foot Tub from yesteryear just begging to be used for a nice long soak. In the living room you will find plenty of seating including a Leather Sofa Sleeper with a plethora of bedding should you need it.
The property boasts over 1/4 acre in the Historic District of Manitou Springs for you to relax on the grassy lawn or cool your toes in the mountain stream. Various wildlife visit the property from squirrels and ducks to deer to the rare sighting of a bear. There is room for your dog to run as well, although the property is not 100% fenced in. Pets are welcome with a small per-stay fee. When seeking restaurants, there are several within a 5 min walk from the front door or take a stroll up the road to the Trading Post at the Garden of the Gods for a quick bite and shopping.
Activities nearby include the Garden of the Gods rock formations, accessible by walking, biking or drive through. Pikes Peak and the Barr Trail are just at the other end of town/Midland Trail. Hop on the Cog Railway and take a trip to the 14110+ foot top of Americas' Mountain or take a short drive to any of Colorado Springs attractions including the Seven Falls Area, The Broadmoor Hotel, the US Air Force Academy and many more. Motorsports, natural hikes and winter sports (in season) are all available in abundance as you travel up the pass towards beautiful Woodland Park (20 min) or beyond to Breckenridge (2 hrs) and other ski areas.
Although this is an rustic cabin, there is no need to be disconnected here. We include Business Class High Speed internet and a 43 inch Smart HDTV (ROKU) with access to Netflix, and Hulu provided free with your rental. Amazon Prime, various movie channels and almost any other service available for use with your personal login for access.

Our 1 Bedroom cottages have fully equipped kitchens, bedroom with queen size bed, sleeper sofa in the living room, Wi-Fi & cable TV.

Our property consists of 8 separate adobe cottages situated on 3 acres. On-site parking is available.

Town-N-Country Cottages are an enjoyable 1 mile stroll to the heart of downtown Manitou Springs.

Amenities include seasonal pool, year-round hot tub, playground, covered pavilion w/BBQ grills, picnic tables, playground, coin-operated laundry, & volleyball courts.

Each cottage is generously spaced apart with plenty of parking. Each cottage has its own kitchen, outdoor picnic area and indoor dining table.

Though this is listed as a cabin, it is a private home, with a dining and entertaining capacity for 2 guests (can sleep up to 3). Take a step back from the modern world and enjoy the peace and quite of yesterday, with all the conveniences of today.

Manitou Spring and the surrounding area offers some of the best outdoor activities in the nation. Our hiking trails and access to the Pike National Forest wilderness are second to none. Take the Incline challenge. Take the Pikes Peak highway to the top of "America's Mountain" or hike the miles of trails in and around the Manitou valley. Then walk into town for a quality meal and fine drink. Bathe in the mineral springs at Sun Water Spa. The sites and adventures are endless.

Blue Spruce Cabin is one of 6 log homes on almost 9 acres of land. Keithley Pines Cabins were built by Douglass's (the proprietor of the estate) great grandfather in the early 1900's. The location is secluded from the main street, yet close enough to the fun is Manitou Springs.

There are three bedrooms, one bathroom, a full kitchen, dinning room, living room and a wood burning fireplace.
Enjoy the outdoors on the front or back deck. You can see Pikes Peak/Garden of the Gods from this cabin.

You have total access to an entire, stand alone log home. This is one of 5 log cabins situated on 9 acres of forested private property in the city limits of Manitou Springs. Though this is listed as a cabin, it is a home, with a dining and entertaining capacity for 5 guests. There is also a farm that grows food using bio-dynamic, organic techniques.

Take a step back from the modern world and enjoy the peace and quite of yesterday, with all the conveniences of today.
