The tents were nice, the beds were comfortable and the a/c (evaporative cooling) worked well. The property had fun activities, including horseshoes, tetherball, cornhole and a gas firepit. Each camp site also has a firepit, wood and a bucket of water, but we did not build a fire because it was warm out. Our tent also had a patio with table and chairs. We loved sitting there to enjoy the view by day and the stars by night. The bathhouse was clean, well designed and more convenient than we expected. Check-in was very easy - they sent an email prior to arrival with instructions for accessing the site and the tent. If you prefer not to cook, there is a fun restaurant across the street, along with the adventure outfitters (ziplining & rafting). We used these services and everything was super convenient. Some reviews mentioned highway noise, but that was not an issue for us at all. We absolutely would stay there again!"

It was huge with tons of storage and a top shelf en suite bathroom w/large soaker tub and tile walk in shower. The manor had beautiful historical characteristics and was furnished and decorated exquisitely. Within 5 minutes of the Pueblo River Walk which is a must—especially during Christmas because it is lit up and looks magical! While you are there, dine at Twenty-One Steak! You will love the entire experience. We have stayed at several places when we come to visit our daughter and grand babies from North Carolina-and the Orman Mansion is our favorite place. Very reasonably priced too!"

Our home has 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed & 1 king bed, 1 bathroom with a walk in shower, a den, a living room with 2 couches, a full kitchen, and an enclosed sun room and outdoor patio with a large fenced yard. Don’t be surprised if you have a deer or two come and visit! You will love sitting in the enclosed sunroom enjoying the lush yard or reclining back watching tv or gathering around the table to play games with the family. It’s a wonderful place to escape to, hang out and catch up on a little R&R. But, if you’re looking for a little more fun, You are just minutes from downtown and all our town’s amenities. Canon City hosts many restaurants, breweries, wineries , grocery stores, Walmart and a movie theater. Old downtown offers many unique, one of a kind shops. We have several city parks for families to enjoy, one has a splash pad for water fun! The Royal Gorge, which is America’s highest suspension bridge, is 15 minutes away. The Royal Gorge train is minutes from the house and ushers you up the floor of the canyon. You can take a helicopter tour, raft down the Arkansas river, rent a Segway, ride the zip line or go to the dinosaur museum which are all local attractions. Our golf course is 15 minutes away. For the Antique lover, Florence is 15 minutes away and is filled with Antique stores and specialty shops. Colorado Springs is an hour drive and opens up all the attractions a big city has to offer. It is the home of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Airforce Academy, the Olympic training center, the Broadmoor Hotel and much more. You can drive up Pikes Peak which is over 14,000 feet in elevation and ride the Cog railway at the top. For you skiers who love the snow Monarch Ski Area is about 90 minutes away. Cripple Creek is a gambling town and is a beautiful 1 hour drive. After your fun filled day of adventure, return back to the house to relax or just recharge for your next activity. There is NO smoking on our property and NO pets are allowed.

The location is within minutes of town and everything you need. Even had a DoorDash grocery delivery the day we arrived which was nice! I highly recommend staying here.
