My husband and I love the community of St. Mary's - the history, the land, the neighbors, the views...it's breath-takingly beautiful! This is our vacation home with our 4 children, and we want to share it with you when we can't be there.

A little more about the cabin - it's a one bedroom (cozy and comfortable), one full-bath, a cool 'ladder-loft' that comfortably sleeps two (twin mattresses), a sleeper sofa in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a TON of extras including a Pack-N-Play for your littlest one, a fold-out toddler cot, an umbrella stroller to use when strolling through town, various size snow boots during the winter season , snow jackets in size small in women's and medium in men's, snow pants (if they fit, you're welcome to use them), super soft blankets for star viewing, and so many extras.

Step through the 'Looking Glass' and experience snow-topped trees and mountains in the winter and crisp, cool terrain and hummingbirds that whir by during the spring and summer. Spectacular views are what sets our cabin apart. We are 10,000 feet up, and our deck offers an unobstructed view of the mountains. We face the absolutely spectacular sunrises, and go to bed with cozy fires. Please be advised that you will need a 4WD vehicle during snow months (typically late October through April usually) to make it up and down the mountain.

If you'd like a little adventure while you're here, there is plenty to do right up on the mountain, down in Idaho Springs and within a short drive! For the outdoorsy, hiking is very popular (a hike to St. Mary's Glacier is a MUST), ATV tours are a five minute drive away, fishing (we provide 2 passes, poles, and a stocked tackle-box!) to fish in 2 private stocked lakes (catch and release only); horseback riding within 30 minutes, ziplining, white-water rafting, SHOPPING and DINING in quaint Idaho Springs...), but honestly, just buying groceries in town for dinners, watching some movies or your favorite show on satellite with a glass of wine or a local beer on the deck or by the fire may be just what you are seeking. We cherish memories and want this getaway to be 'that memory' for you!

Our home is located in St. Mary's Glacier, a subdivision about 10 miles northwest of Idaho Springs, and about an hour from the Denver Metro area. It sits at just under 10,000 feet so remember to drink lots of water. We have two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen size bed. There is a full bath upstairs as well as a small washer and dryer, a stocked linen closet, and plenty of storage for clothes. Downstairs we have an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area with a 2 person breakfast bar and all the comforts of home. Off the living room is a half bath, a selection of DVD's and books, Direct TV, Wifi, and our couch folds out to a queen size bed. A wood burning stove in the living room can heat the entire house but there are also electric baseboard heaters in every room.

We love animals and we do allow a maximum of 2 dogs for an additional fee of $75 per stay. Please make sure to indicate pets in your reservation.

We love to sit out on the deck in the morning and drink coffee while we wait for the deer to frolic by on their way to the creek that backs up to the property. During the summer, our feeders attract hummingbirds, moose are common, and at times black bears like to visit the neighborhood. 4-wheeling trails are abundant in the St. Mary's area and many can be accessed from our house. The Indian Hot Springs are just a short drive down to Idaho Springs which also has rafting, shopping, breweries, excellent BBQ, and the iconic Beau Jo's pizza. There were so many wonderful extras waiting for us as well, such as a bottle of wine, some beer, bottles of water, Keurig cups, cozy robes and slippers, snow shoes, outdoor blankets, games, etc. Everything was carefully thought out by the owners, including the booklets with all the information that could be needed or anticipated. We actually tripped a breaker and easily read the information packet and quickly located the breaker out back. Using the hot tub under the stars surrounded by snow was magical and the sauna was a fun treat and easy to use! This cabin is located in an area with other homes/cabins nearby but none obstructed our view and we felt like we were in complete solitude. It was wonderful ! The cabin sleeps 4 easily, however, we noticed a pull-out sofa in the living room can accommodate two more. I can't say enough good things about this cabin and our stay. We highly recommend it!"

Other things to note:

REMOTE CABIN STUFF
- Our cabin has satellite Starlink internet and therefore the connection can sometimes drop for a few seconds every hour or so. Not noticeable unless work from home with lots of long duration video and voice calls. Use your time at our home to disconnect from technology and embrace the beauty of the Rockies!
- The Master Bedroom has low, sloped ceilings so please watch your head when going upstairs and walking around!

SNOW
- During winter / spring months, we highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle to be able to easily park in our potentially snowy / icy driveway. Please plan accordingly as we do not offer refunds due to road conditions and incapable vehicles. The driveway is short at only about 50 yards from a county-maintained road that is well-plowed. Guests may have to shovel out (snow shovel provided) the driveway if there is a large snowstorm during the visit. Large snowstorms occur 1-5 times/season. It is recommended to be able-bodied during winter/early spring months.

WILDLIFE
- Please do not leave trash and food outside as this will attract wildlife! Bears, elk, big horn sheep, and deer roam the area. However, encounters are rare.
WIND
- The cabin occasionally gets high winds, especially in the winter months, sometimes reaching up to 65 miles per hour. The noise from the wind can be quite noticeable. Ensure you and your guests understand that such conditions may exist during your stay.
LANDSCAPE
- The land can be uneven, rocky, and dangerous in the Rocky Mountains. Please be mindful of proper footing around the property.

The space
BEAR PARK CABIN is a redwood 2 story, 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home designed with a wood and granite interior. Included is a wood and ski storage room; a large wrap-around deck, all nestled in the trees. AND, includes its own park! Nothing like it! Inviting, with long stone pathways for you to casually stroll through the forest with an evening beverage, or morning coffee. Throughout the forest are gnome-homes, with many raised stone flowerbeds.
Seating areas: wooden Adirondack chairs; a log swing; a hammock; picnic table; and benches scattered along the pathway.
Wooden animal statues are found throughout the park, especially the protective life-size Mother Bear with two precious cubs at her feet! All hand carved.

WINTERTIME: the park is usually buried in snow, yet the wildlife occasionally come for a visit. We provide peanuts for you to feed the critters, like squirrels, chipmunks, and blue-jays.
Other wildlife visitors may stop by for a visit, including a family of moose; a fox; deer; rabbits; and maybe a small bear.
In the evening, trees throughout the park can be lit with a sparkling and colorful display. One feels like they're in a snow globe sitting in front of the crackling fireplace, looking out.

Access to trout fishing on one of two private lakes, nearby. Stocked multiple times yearly. Feel free to bring a paddle-board or other small watercraft.

LOCAL HIKING: Access to the St. Mary's Glacier/lake trailhead is a short 15 minute walk, or a 3 minute drive. A parking lot is available for a $5 charge.
Access to four other popular trailheads are close by, including Yankee Hill; Loch Lomond; Rock House; and Rainbow Road - leading up to three mountain lakes.

Other things to note
Access to BEAR PARK CABIN is via Fall River Road. This is a two-lane paved county road, kept in very good plowed condition throughout the snow season. The journey up and down is beautiful, but can also be slippery in the winter months, so please drive carefully and obey the posted speed limits (35 mph in most areas). MOST IMPORTANTLY, 4-Wheel or All-Wheel-Drive vehicles (with SNOW TIRES or CABLES/CHAINS) are necessary to navigate Fall River Road in heavy winter conditions. It is recommended to book a rental car through "TURO" where you can request and be sure your vehicle will be equipped with SNOW TIRES!

The space
This home is new construction with every window and door placed to capture the best views of the beautiful pond and mountains! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one that is an en-suite) with two desk/office spaces for remote work. Starlink internet provides amazing WiFi for all of your streaming devices and the open concept kitchen and living room are perfect for everyone to enjoy their time together. The large wrap around deck overlooks the pond and comes with furniture for you to enjoy a meal or your morning coffee.
A new 5 person hot tub and trees have just been installed!
Other things to note:
Chalet Auguste is at 10,800 foot elevation. It is important to hydrate the day before you arrive and during your visit to avoid altitude sickness. We have county maintained roads but Four Wheel Drive vehicles are necessary October through May due to our snow storms.

This cabin is the perfect spot to rest after a day in the mountains! The main floor living room and kitchen are fully stocked, but please note that the fridge is a mini fridge. The upstairs loft is outfitted with a queen bed and a queen size pull-out sofa. The basement has a bunk bed!

One thing to note: our valley location limits our access to internet, so cell signal, WiFi and cable can be slow or non-existent at times. We recommend planning to be off-the-grid in case this happens during your stay! There is a DVD player :)

Guests are welcome to access two private mountain lakes, within walking distance from the cabin. The St. Mary’s Glacier trailhead is also just a short walk away - One of Colorado’s most popular hikes that leads to a beautiful mountain lake and the glacier itself that you can walk on!

This neighborhood is perfectly positioned for adventure. We’re just 30 miles from Loveland Ski Area and within an hour's drive to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Winter Park. Downtown Idaho Springs is just 10 miles away, where you can explore local shops, restaurants and the famous Indian Hot Springs. For live music, Red Rocks Amphitheater is 30 miles away. The Central City Casino District is within 20 miles. We are also conveniently located an hour from downtown Denver and off I-70 for easy access from Denver International Airport.

The cabin is equipped with Starlink internet, ideal for remote work (Wifi speeds often exceed 250+ Mbps). You can stream 4k videos, download large files and join video calls on multiple devices. Set up your workspace on the large dining room table or utilize the two desks found in the loft or front of the cabin.

Sleeping - We have 1 loft-style bedroom with an ultra-comfortable queen-sized bed, a cozy quilt and of course - plenty of extra pillows and blankets! The loft also features a full-sized futon with high-quality memory foam that is comfortable for sleeping. The main floor has cozy twin bunk beds, making the cabin flexible for different sleeping arrangements. **IMPORTANT: Your must be able to manage a steep spiral staircase to access the loft.

Kitchen - The kitchen is equipped with modern stainless steel appliances and includes all essentials such as dishes, pots, pans, baking sheets, and silverware. Basic cooking ingredients like spices, salt and pepper, and olive oil are also provided. A fully stocked Keurig coffee machine, drip coffee maker, and tea kettle are available for your use. The space is anchored by an oversized dining table, perfect for enjoying a cozy meal.

Living room - The cabin’s open-concept design features vaulted ceilings, allowing natural light to fill the space. You’ll find a 47" HDTV equipped with Fire TV for streaming and a Nintendo Switch for gaming. There is also an electric indoor fireplace which adds a toasty touch. Whether you're curled up with a book, challenging someone to a game, or relaxing with a film, this living room is the heart of your mountain getaway.

Outside deck - The spacious back deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind after a day of adventure. It’s furnished with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a fire pit, ready for roasting marshmallows under the night stars. The backyard offers privacy and amazing views of the surrounding evergreen trees and mountains.

Bathroom - We have 1 bathroom that is well-appointed with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh towels, toilet paper, and toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

** Please remember, this cabin is in a remote mountain area and is susceptible to inclement weather. 4-wheel drive vehicles with winter tires are strongly recommended from November to May.

Guests have access to the entire cabin and property, including a spacious outdoor area ideal for soaking in the mountain air and star-gazing. Guests will also have access to 2 private mountain lakes, Silver Lake and Lake Quivira.

Other things to note:

WINTER SNOW SEASON - During the winter snow season, St. Mary’s Glacier area can see very large snow accumulation. AWD/4WD vehicles are strongly recommended from November to April. If it snows during your stay, we have a plow service to clear the roads and a shoveling service to clear pathways to the cabin. ** We can not offer refunds for any of these conditions.

PARKING - The property includes a dirt pull-in driveway suitable for one car. Additional parking is available along the street on both sides of the house.

EXTENDED STAYS - The cabin is perfect for longer stays, as it’s conveniently located within 10 miles of downtown Idaho Springs. Nearby conveniences include a Safeway grocery store, Starbucks and a recreation center. The center offers daily passes for $11 or monthly for $72. It features a gym, 25-yard pool, sauna, basketball courts and more.

The famous St. Mary's Glacier Trailhead, known for its stunning alpine lake and glacier views, is just a short 5 min walk from our front door so you won't have to pay for parking. We have a full-size kitchen with new stainless steel appliances but if you don't feel like cooking we're conveniently located 12 miles from downtown Idaho Springs where you'll find an adorable mountain town filled with many shops, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store.

Cabin Highlights:
Our goal is to make your trip as smooth as possible so we've made sure to include all the amenities you might need including a coffee maker (and coffee and tea), hair dryers, soap/shampoo/conditioner, fully stocked kitchen including spices and oil, pack and play, booster seat, board games, movies, and high-speed Starlink internet so you can stream your shows.

Driveway is a available for you to park your car. Please note that the driveway is steep and since it shares with the main property if you need to bring additional vehicles please arrange beforehand and we are happy to accommodate.

Additionally, parking is available downtown and there is a bus route in town to transport you to surrounding areas.

The property is located on a mountain. The road to the property and the driveway is paved but it's a steep road and driveway. In the winter months (October through May), we see frequent snow which can make roads slippery/icy. Please take into consideration proper vehicle (i.e. 4WD, snow tires, snow chains etc.) and traction laws during the winter months. Please understand we are not responsible if your vehicle cannot make it to the property and we cannot help if you get stuck.

In addition, we have a couple of dogs that live on the premise (all friendly). The yard is quite large and fenced in and they may be out there during the day. Please be conscious to close the gate when you enter/exit.

Lastly, we are very dog friendly and enjoy furry friends. But if you are bringing a dog(s) during your stay, please be sure they are house trained and you pick up after your dog in the yard. If you plan to leave the dog(s) alone at the unit they must be crated and comfortable with house noises (i.e. both me and my partner work from home so the dog(s) can’t bark the entire time left alone).

Lovely condo situated on picturesque Silverlake surrounded by the Rocky Mountains in St Mary's Glacier CO! The spacious unit (sleeps 4) features a modern kitchen and cozy living room with romantic fireplace. Fishing and boating are just steps away. 5 minute walk takes you to St Mary's Glacier Trailhead and 20 minute drive to charming downtown which offers dining, shopping, hot springs, rafting and more. This large 1 bedroom unit is over 950 sqft and has recently been completely renovated including new flooring, updated bathroom, furniture, soft goods and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

THE MOUNTAIN CABIN is an authentic miner's cabin perfectly located in a historic area where Colorado Gold Rush began over 150 years ago. There is an actual mine at the end of the street you can visit to immerse yourself in rich Colorado mining history. The tour must be pre-arranged in advance.
The cabin offers mountain/hill views from the front porch and from the large deck in the back. The Cabin is located on a quiet street within a short walking distance of the historic district of Idaho Springs (restaurants, museums, hot springs, white water rafting tours, mining tours) and close to all other local attractions including LOVELAND and ELDORA SKI RESORTS.
The cabin has two private bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed each. Each bedroom interior has been recently remodeled with beautiful natural pine panels and walls. It looks and smells as if you are in the pine forest!
The kitchen is fully equipped. New stainless steel glass top range and stainless steel hood over it. The breakfast area is adjacent to the kitchen. A recently remodeled bathroom with a shower is located between the bedrooms. There is a high-efficiency washer and dryer in the cabin for your convenience.
The great room has a gas stove for additional comfort and ambiance. It is beautifully decorated with a mountain/ski theme. You can see the old snow sleds, authentic ice skates, and other decorations mounted on the walls.
The cabin has a central heating system with a new furnace. The water heater is also new.
Enjoy beautiful mountain views and wildlife viewing (deer and foxes come very close to the deck). A new BBQ grill and new comfortable patio furniture are available for your comfort and relaxation on the wood deck in the back of the cabin.

Great little town with good restaurants and shops. Julia is a great host, and responded right away when we had a couple questions, and a small problem. (The problem was my fault) The house itself is comfy and cozy. While not luxurious, it is a great value for the money. The kitchen, laundry, and bedrooms are all very functional and nice. The gas stove/heater in the living room is nice after a cold day of skiing. If you want luxury there are plenty of $500+ a night places along the I70 corridor. However if you want a nice, functional place in a cool old mining town with room to sleep 5 for a reasonable price-This is the place."

Come experience what it's like to "live small" in our brand new tiny house. Perched 9,000 ft above sea level, our tiny home is high up in the Rockies. We're situated in a small mobile home park in Lawson, CO and surround by great hiking, fishing and some of the world's best skiing.

The space includes a living/dining area with a fold-up table; a full bathroom with clean towels and toiletries; and a kitchen stocked with dishes, a fridge and microwave. Please note: there is NO stove or oven for guest use. There is also an electric kettle, toaster and small slow cooker. Our tiny house is located in an equally tiny trailer park perched on the side of a mountain. Our neighbors live in a diverse mixture of housing, including apartments, cabins, mobile and single family homes.

Getting around:
Getting around is easy with a convenient location right off of highway 70, in between Georgetown and Idaho Springs.

Other things to note:
There is NO wifi Internet. But there is a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker to connect with your personal hotspot.

A charming 2 bedroom with beautiful mountain scenery all around, it has the feel of a calming mountain cabin while still being close to all the essentials like local coffee shops, groceries, restaurants, with nearby access to the Georgetown Loop Railway, tons of hikes, ski resorts who also have summer activities, and the city of Denver.
Further west is Summit county with Silverthorne, Keystone, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge. Even further west is Eagle county with Vail.

Cozy up to a wood burning fireplace with a lavender latte - (you can use our Nespresso machine that takes large capsules - pre-order from their website) - and your laptop to work, or while watching Netflix, Apple TV or Disney after a long days’ hike or ski adventure. The TV is a smart Roku 55 inch in the living room.

Each bedroom has a queen bed together with a queen size sofa bed in the living room to spread out in, all with different natural lighting depending on your mood.

A bright dining area and hand crafted kitchen table is a great spot to work at or have a lazy Sunday breakfast spread. There is also an office space with an adjustable height desk in bedroom 2. We have a fully stocked kitchen for your use, and a propane grill outside on the back deck. In fact the house is a turn-key fully stocked ready home from home. Just bring your food and maybe the booze.

Water pressure is great in the shower, or you can soak in the tub with some salts after those hikes or other sporting activities. Soaps and shampoos are all included.

Build a snowman in the back yard in winter, or enjoy listening to the breeze and birds in spring or hop in the year round hot tub heated to 104 degrees in the back garden area.

Washer and dryer units are in the corner of the kitchen for use.

There is one camera outside on the tree between the parking spaces looking towards the front of the property and out towards the street.

The cabin is a 5 minute walk to the St. Mary's Glacier trailhead and a 25 minute drive to downtown Idaho Springs. It's located in a quiet neighborhood but feels remote and tucked away in nature. This mountain retreat has everything you need for a relaxing, tranquil, and comfortable stay.

PLEASE READ THE BELOW INFO BEFORE BOOKING:
We recommend purchasing travel insurance in case you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances or events not covered in the cancellation policy. A four wheel drive vehicle is required from October 1st-May 31st, we will not provide a refund if the roads are open but your vehicle cannot make it. During these months only 1 vehicle is permitted since you will need to park at the base of the driveway and walk up the short driveway to the cabin. No additional parking spaces are available. You must be able bodied as the drive way and stairs are steep and can be slick when it snows. You’ll have to clear a path on the deck when it snows during your stay. Fire place usage is not allowed due to our insurance policy. Internet is satellite internet, it may not work during your stay due to weather conditions. Please note, this is our only internet option since this is a remote cabin in the middle of the mountains.

Outdoor hot tub and fire pit, with privacy fence make an ideal spot for stargazing on clear nights. Guest are required to abide by local fire-ban laws if and when in place. Just a short walk away, an enclosed mudroom provides an additional sanctuary.

Come experience the high alpine! Our bunkhouse and lot are conveniently located just 1/2 mile from both the St. Mary's Glacier and the Yankee Hill ATV/OHV trailheads. The Arapaho National Forest with tons of hiking is also just 200 yds away!

The space
The lot is open and spacious. It faces south and west for maximum sun exposure. Enjoy mountain views of Grey's and Torrey's Peaks right from your lawnchair! Come have a picnic or have a campfire under the stars.

Utilize our bunkhouse to crash for a couple nights, to get out of the elements after camping, to give more space for the kids, or just as a mountain hangout with your friends. The bunkhouse, has one plush queen bed, and one lofted single bed, It has power, indoor and outdoor lights, and heat, however, no plumbing. An outhouse is provided right outside the door!

Use our large lot for overnight parking of your ATV toyhaulers or RVs. A 30A standard RV plug is available (note max breaker power is at 20A)

An ideal getaway space. Great for anyone who wants to luxury camp in the mountains, having someone else do the set up work for your mountain life getaway experience.

We are not a 420 friendly space. If it is your intention to participate in such activities, please look elsewhere.

The space
Summer outdoor activities await. So does your cute, cozy, home away from home.

This is an Airstream Land Yacht RV. With that comes the ability to experience lots of fun and adventure, as well as some things that are different from staying in a house.

We make sure that the water is full - filled by Rocky Mountain well water - at the beginning of your stay. However, water conservation is extremely important during your stay. Water comes from storage tanks, which take time to fill from a limited well. Please use water sparingly (shorter showers are recommended).

Another thing to note is the toilet. It is a composting toilet. With that comes specific usage instructions. We have provided instructions (in 2 places) in the bathroom. We will send more information (at the time of booking) about using a composting toilet. It's not that different, but most importantly... everyone must sit down to pee. So if you're used to peeing while standing up, you'll need to sit down - every time. If you pee while standing, your pee will go into the wrong part of the toilet. Peeing into the wrong part of the toilet can damage the compost and cause odors (that won't exist otherwise). You may not enjoy those odors, and neither will we when we do the cleaning (and replacement of the compost - from scratch). So, when you book, please know that you'll be sitting down to use the toilet. Standing while peeing = not an option (and if this happens during your stay, we will charge an additional $50 cleaning fee).

The TV does not have any TV signal. We do have a DVD player and provide a solid collection of DVDs. There are also RedBox locations in town (which is a short 10 minute drive away).

We do offer WiFi access. But the reality is that you're inside a metal tube. And that can sometimes cause the internet to be spotty as the metal interacts with the signal in weird ways we can't control.

The whole Airstream is yours to use. We have a small path that leads to our garden that starts behind the Airstream. We may occasionally use this path while you are there. We will be respectful of your stay and be quiet. We go to the garden about 2x/week, so we will hopefully go by completely unnoticed.

Please note we are NOT 420/marijuana-friendly. Please book elsewhere if you intend to smoke/vape 420/tobacco products indoors or outdoors. Our area is EXTREMELY dry, surrounded on 3 sides by national forest, and one carelessly tossed cigarette could cause a fire, even in winter!

The Ridgeview Studio is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors and mountainous terrain of The Arapahoe National Forrest. Take advantage of the multiple hiking trailheads and private fishing lakes all within a stones throw of the studio or stay in and cuddle up for a romantic retreat. This cozy and comfortable space is the lower level of The Ridgeview Chalet (can be rented together) with it's own private entrance, porch and parking.

Other things to note
Please note that this property is located in St Mary's Glacier Colorado at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Altitude sickness can be experienced by some guests so you are encouraged to research preventative measures and check with your doctor if you have existing medical conditions that may be negatively affected by high altitudes.

Winter driving conditions exist from October through April therefore AWD or 4WD vehicles with DEDICATED SNOW TIRES is highly recommended. Most of the national car rentals do not offer snow tires so you may want to look into renting a vehicle through Turo where you can communicate with the vehicle owner to ensurer that true snow tires are on the vehicle.

Although listed as a one bedroom home there are two sleeping areas. One with a queen size bed that is an open space and the other with a daybed with pull out trundle bed.

A sunlit breakfast nook awaits in the front of the house which opens to a cozy living room. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV, Blue-Ray/DVD Player and of course you will enjoy WI-FI throughout the house.

A washer and dryer are available for use in the fully functional kitchen. There is one spacious full bathroom.

There have been sightings of bear, mountain lion, deer, elk, moose, and foxes in the area. This is their home too. Please make sure to bring all food inside at night. Do not sleep with the doors open. Animals can be curious!

Exercise? Oh no worries, walk to the recreation center to enjoy a swim or workout and then sit in the recreation centers hot tub. We LOVE it for our kids.

The space
Idaho Springs is a quaint historic mountain town with plenty to offer on its own but it is also super convenient to all kinds of outdoor adventure activities. There many rafting runs, ziplines, cycling, mountain biking and hikes nearby. The Mt. Blue Sky area and stunning surrounds include Denver's closest '14-er' which even indulges a drive to the top if you want to skip the hike. Loveland Mountain is the favorite of locals here with a less than 30 minute drive to the parking lot. If you like to bounce between resorts, we are 45 minutes away from Winter Park and then an hour from all the Summit County ski areas.
If you love music, we are also 20 minutes from Red Rocks legendary venue.
While at home, we have a fireplace for chilly days and a tiered backyard and garden for relaxing in the sun. As a family of creatives, our decor comes from our own work, years of collecting treasures and artful finds. We find our house the perfect way to rest and explore Colorado and we are happy to share it with you!

If you have children, there are legos in the black side table in the front bedroom. There are games in the twin black side table by the TV in the living room. We also have some books on the book shelf that are geared towards kids and will be expanding that collection.

A cozy 2bed condo providing the perfect escape for 1-6 people. This rental is approximately 11,000-ft above sea level. It can be accessed via a scenic 20-minutes drive from I-70, along Fall River Road. You can walk to the trailhead for Saint Mary's Glacier, a 1.9-mile well-used trail to a beautiful lake.

The space
This is a small camper sitting on a full hookup RV site in a campground. It is full stocked with towels and sheets. You'll have water, WIFI, sewer, electricity, and propane available and ready for your use.

The campground also has a restroom, private shower rooms and a laundry room.

🏡 The home is split into two private units. This unit, the "Owl’s Nest" is up one flight of indoor stairs. The Bonanza unit (a separate 2BR/1BA) has its own private alley entrance on the opposite side of the home.

🚗 Parking is FREE for our Guests on the residential street out front, BUT pre-registration IS required via providing your license plate# —our public streets fill up fast in peak seasons and they are quick to hand out tickets!

It’s a 2 room unit attached to the main home but separated with its own private entrance. Unit includes mountain views & sits on a .5 acre with a fenced in yard open to you and your dogs. Our home backs up to Arapaho national forest. Enjoy hiking, mtn biking, camping, rafting, ziplining, fishing, and numerous ski resorts all within 25-60 min. **PLEASE READ NOTES BELOW**

The space
The property is a 2 room unit with each room having its own exterior door and door separating the rooms. There is a main bedroom that has a queen bed and full bathroom. The second room is a common living area with a couch that pulls out into a double foam bed. The second room also has a kitchenette with a café table, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and sink.

Please note that while the unit is not shared one room is located under our dining room and the other room is located under our home office. We are a young couple with two dogs who work from home. We try to keep noise low during early morning and at night but it is an older house and as it goes there will be noise during the day. We provide ear plugs and a noise machine and since our home is located above downtown our neighborhood is generally quiet at night. If you have any questions before booking please do not hesitate to ask!

Driveway is available for you to park your car. Please note that the driveway is paved but steep and since it shares with the main property if you need to bring additional vehicles please arrange beforehand and we are happy to accommodate.

Additionally, parking is available downtown and there is a bus route in town to transport you to surrounding areas.

Other things to note
**IMPORTANT PLEASE READ**

The property is located on a mountain. The road to the property and the driveway is paved but it's a steep road and driveway. In the winter months (November through April), we see frequent snow which can make roads slippery/icy. Please take into consideration proper vehicle (i.e. 4WD, snow tires, snow chains, etc.) and traction laws during the winter months. Please understand we are not responsible if your vehicle cannot make it to the property and we cannot help if you get stuck.

In addition, we have a couple of dogs that live on the premise (both are very friendly and will bark when you arrive because they are excited). The yard is quite large/fenced in and they may be out there during the day. If you are bringing dogs that are not friendly or need an introduction please let us know in advance so we can accommodate that request. Please be conscious to close the gate when you enter/exit.

Lastly, we are very dog friendly and enjoy furry friends. If you are bringing a dog during your stay, please be sure they are house trained and you pick up after your dog in the yard. If you plan to leave the dog(s) alone at the unit they must be crated (or confident they won't be destructive) and comfortable with house noises. Both me and my partner work from home so the dog(s) can’t bark the entire time left alone. Otherwise we are happy to have them!

Two Blocks from the Historical Downtown Idaho Springs that offers; Shopping, Restaurants, Breweries, and Churches. You're 45 minutes to Winter Park and Breckenridge ski resorts, 25 minutes to Loveland Ski Resort, 40 minutes to Denver, and 20 minutes to the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. WiFi. These will be dependent on traffic of course.

The entire house. The first floor has two bedrooms, king-size beds, a Full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a family room.
The upstairs has a king bed and 3/4 bath. WiFi and Cable TV. Small fenced backyard. Deck with chairs to enjoy the sunshine.

Other things to note
Pets allowed but please do not have them lay on beds or furniture. The cleaning would be cost-prohibitive for the rentals and I want to keep it pet friendly for everyone. Please pick up all pet droppings and put in can that is provided in the backyard.
