Your access to the water is incredible. You can enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on any of the decks and enjoy the river and the little river landing is incredible. The night sky is a beautiful display of all the stars! We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy the fresh, crisp morning air. If possible, come during the day the first time so you see where you are going because it's in a remote place and very dark. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again."

The cabin is located on Riverside Drive in South St. Vrain Canyon and accessible via County maintained paved roads that are plowed regularly during the winter. It is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Lyons, 15 minutes to Allenspark, 30 minutes to Estes Park, 30 minutes to Boulder or Longmont, and 45 minutes to Eldora Ski area. It is also within a 15 minute drive to a very cute little town with a country store for essentials such as milk and eggs, gas, a couple restaurants, a liquor store, and a spring to refill water containers for free. We are near the Middle St. Vrain River with great fishing, hiking trails, off-roading trails, biking, etc. all close by. The town of Lyons is very cute with restaurants, ice cream shop, and lots of things to do throughout the year such as a huge blue grass music festival during the summer, tubing on the river, and a parade of lights in December. If you have any special requests just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. A four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is required from December through March in case of a heavy snow during your stay. No pets other than max of 2 dogs. Please mark if you are bringing a pet so the pet fee will be applied and we know about it. Fully fenced area (approximately 4 ft tall) on side yard wherefire pit seating and grill area are located, dog bowls, small kennel, and towel for paws.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed The only draw back was noise from neoghbors in the unit above-- footsteps were very loud and even quiet music was audible down below. This unit is the entire basement of a very nice home with another rental unit upstairs. Our expansive 2400 sq ft cabin is built into the hillside next to the Middle St. Vrain River. This former lodge (c. 1920) is historic, but has many modern amenities like fast Wifi, Verizon Cell Extender, Apple TV, etc.. You have your own entry, patio and yard. In late spring, summer and early fall have coffee on the front patio and listen to the roaring river. In the Fall, watch the Aspen trees turn bright colors. In the Winter, watch the snow gently fall while being cozy in front of the fire.
The rustic Riverside Mountain Lodge Retreat is the main level suite in a two suite lodge. The upper level suite is called the Riverside Lodge - Relaxation in a Historic Setting. Each suite has it's own private entrance. You can also book the entire property under the name Riverside Lodge - Upper and Lower Lodge Combined.
The closest small markets by car are in Ferncliff at 12 minutes away and downtown Lyons at 15 minutes away. You can find more amenities in Boulder, Longmont, Estes Park and Nederland each at around 30 minutes away. Boulder and Longmont are your best bets for big box stores, Estes Park and Nederland are smaller mountain towns, but have good sized grocery stores and other amenities.
The lodge is across the street from the river, but you can walk along the river on the road and access the river by the county owned bridges (one bridge is right by the lodge).
Parking - two cars are allowed as there is only two parking spaces for this suite on the property. Please park only on the gravel, on the right side of the concrete pad.
The rooms are side by side and accessed through french doors. There is a king sized bed in one room and a queen and twin sized bed in the other room. The bedrooms are accessed from the living room through custom built barn style sliding door.
The original wood floors and log built frame from 1920 is the part of the rustic charm of the Riverside Mountain Lodge Retreat. There are pictures, throughout the unit, showing how the space was used as a restaurant and gathering space for travelers and the local community. If you are looking for a more updated space though, look no further than the upper suite, named the Riverside Lodge - Relaxation in a Historic Setting.

No need to bring anything but clothing and personal items. The place includes a queen bed and comfortable, full-size, foldout couch. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven/convection oven, microwave, double burner, electric skillet, and an "insta-pot". There is a washer/dryer, TV, private carport, walk-out balcony, and use of outdoor grill and hot tub.
We are one hour from Denver International airport; ten miles from the city of Longmont; fifteen miles from the university town of Boulder; twenty miles from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. In the winter, walk two blocks to Lavern Johnson Park and ice skate; then warm up by the fire afterwards. In spring, summer and fall, the hiking trails are open and only five minutes away. Our house is one block from the St. Vrain River and a short stroll to coffee cafes, restaurants, shopping, and walking distance to the festival grounds; home of the famous Rocky Grass and Lyons Folk Festival). Music, art, quilting, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking and motorbiking abound in the area. Lyons is a wonderful place to stay, anytime of the year!

Two beautiful river walks were the parks to the left and to the right, one block each from the cottage. 3 great Boulder county park trailheads were just less than 5 miles, steep to do-able in sneakers. If you want an ideal river tube experience, the adjacent park is an oxbow, meaning you put into the river, take the ride, hop out and walk a short distance to start over....families love it."

We can accommodate up to six guests, but it's probably ideal for four. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with 2 twin beds. The living room has 2 couches that can be slept on too.

You can see Mt Audubon, Thunderbolt Peak, St. Vrain & Meadow Mountains from the deck! If you
hike up the mountain behind the house you can see Long's Peak (one of Colorado's 14ers) and Mount Meeker (a 13,916' peak) among numerous others!

The community owns 600 acres that you're free to explore! This includes 6 stocked lakes you can fish in and they're all walkable distance from the house. Colorado license is NOT required, but you will need a membership badge, so let me know if you'd like to go fishing and I'll leave a badge out for you and will provide fishing pole(s), if needed.

No guarantees on wildlife, but we've seen bears, moose, elk, bobcats, big horn sheep, turkeys and bald eagles!

A community pool is available from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend (approximate dates).

Our clean, modern, Colorado-inspired, one-bedroom unit has lots of natural light and breathtaking views from every room. It has its own private patio with mountain 180-degree views.

The living room features a brand new, comfortable couch plus two lounge chairs.

The unit also has a full kitchen with a stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and freezer.

The master bedroom has a comfortable full-size bed and two small closets for your use during your stay.

Our bathroom has a high-pressure, filtered water shower and all the appliances you need.

There is also a washer and dryer for your use in the unit.

We love providing recommendations to all the best places in the area.

If requested, we have a small 32-inch TV that is on a stand that can be wheeled anywhere in the unit.

We live in a quiet neighborhood, so please no parties and don't be in the patio area after 10:30 pm.

We also plant a tree for every guest and donate 5% of all profits to the First Nations Development Institute. We acknowledge that we live on the traditional lands of the Arapahoe, Cheyenne, and Ute.

Historic property on the side of Steamboat Mountain. Incredible location with cliff and valley views, plus options to hike directly on the property. Modest stay for those looking for an outdoor experience. "A perfect little taste of Colorado," is what many of our guests remark about our place.

Welcome to Casa Catalpa! This private garden apartment for up to 4 guests is perched on a hillside surrounded by gardens, open space and stunning views of Longs Peak & Steamboat Mountain. Hike from the house up a short trail to enjoy the endless peaks of the Continental Divide. Walk to downtown Lyons in 10 minutes for amazing coffee, parks, art studios, live music, farm-to-table dining, and a one of a kind vintage pinball parlor.

The space
Beautiful and funky, art-filled downstairs garden suite with an open floor plan and plenty of natural light with garden-view windows on three sides.

Our garden is alive with flowers, butterflies, songbirds, and bees. Expect visitors ranging from deer to fox. We have one of the hands-down, best views in Lyons. And you have your own private outdoor patio, plus access to a seating area in the garden, to enjoy it from!

The kitchenette contains an electric stovetop, microwave, med size fridge + a mini-fridge (stocked with a few staples). We provide coffee (french press, k-pod and brew pot options) + tea and often a chilled beverage or two.

Two extremely comfortable queen beds with brand new high thread-count sateen bedding.

There is a dining table that seats four and a small wooden writing desk perfect for a laptop if you need to work.

The bathroom has a standard bathtub & a shower with fantastic water pressure. An ample double-wide closet in the bathroom w plenty of storage for all your belongings. Ironing board and steamer, plus a full length mirror that can be taken out of closet and moved around the unit to make sure you have the perfect ‘fit.

Help yourself to the provided yoga mat and weights. For entertainment we have a lending library, plenty of games and puzzles and a smart TV.

Traveling with children? We are happy to provide a variety of children's toys and books. We can source a traveling crib if given ample notice.

This apartment is perfect for a single person, couple, small family, or up to four close friends.

Please be advised that sound travels down- we try to walk lightly but you will hear footsteps if we are at home. We provide earplugs to help ensure a good night sleep and honor quiet time 9pm-8am. But if this will be a problem for you, we may not be the best fit for you.

Guest access
Guests access privately through a lit path along the side yard to a secured back entrance. Come and go as you please! You are welcome to enjoy the lower grounds of the backyard garden.

Note: Check-out is 12pm and check-in is from 4pm on. That 12pm-3pm block is our window to clean if there are new guests arriving that day. HOWEVER: Please inquire about the potential for early baggage drop-off, earlier check-in, OR late check-out- we are generally happy to accommodate if there is a space between bookings.

We are usually available to personally check you in between 4pm and 7:30pm. If you need to arrive before or after that window, just let us know and we will provide instructions on how to let yourself in.

Other things to note
We expect quiet at night after 9 pm as we're in a more subdued housing area. We are a family who lives upstairs with 2 children (16 and 11) and we will be as quiet as possible, but if you are noise sensitive, consider yourself forewarned as it can be noisy with the sound of running feet if they are at home. We just installed additional felt pads and runners to help w noise.)

This little cabin is perfect for a single, two-person, or an extended small family get-away. The .6 acre riverfront property is very quiet with the occasional wildlife cruising by. Please check the map and its location to get a sense of geography.

The space
This is a one room, open concept cabin with a loft off the main sleeping area that sleeps 2-3 people. There is one queen bed on the main floor, and one twin and one double bed in the loft. All mattresses are new.

Your family will be in walking distance to downtown, parks (Bohn and Lavern Johnson Parks), river (North and South St Vrain), and music venus (Oskar Blues, MainStage and Planet Bluegrass) when you stay at the Lyons Nest. This one bedroom, one bathroom comes with a full kitchen, internet, and washer and dryer; just the right place to stay durning Rocky Grass, Folks Fest or wedding.

A quiet, sunny hideaway on the banks of the trout-filled North Saint Vrain River. Come enjoy the simple pleasures of the Colorado Rockies, waking with the sun as it fills this spacious walk-out apartment and falling asleep to the gentle sounds of the river.

Our home has an away-from-it-all feel, yet it's close to finest of the Front Range: Five minutes to Lyons, 25ish to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, and 30 to Boulder or Longmont.

The space
This basement walk-out has a large bedroom with queen-size bed, full bath, living room with dining table, and a kitchenette with mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and sink. We also have plenty of books and games you can use during your stay as well as guidebooks and maps.

You have a private entrance, patio, and outdoor lounge area. You may explore our property and use our river-side fire pit (conditions permitting--please check with us first!), and if you are an experienced, respectful catch-and-release fly fisherman, you are welcome to throw a line in our private waters.

Other things to note
Cell reception is very spotty (we have WiFi and local landline). Our driveway is somewhat steep--4WD recommended in winter. This is a quiet house, but my son and I do live upstairs and when we're home you may hear the pitter-patter of our feet or music playing. We provide you with a bluetooth speaker, white-noise machine, and the natural sounds of the river, too ;) Also, please note that this is bear country--don't leave food in your car. Lastly, no smoking of any kind por favor. Inside or out.

Located 6 miles from Lyons and 12 miles to Estes Park, it is centrally located to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The private entrance is through our beautiful mountain garden and has it's own parking space just steps from the front door. Our main residence is next door and our garage is located under the guesthouse.

The guest house has a TV with access to 100+ Directv channels. Due to our location, cell service is limited. Our satellite internet can be spotty and intermittent. Our quirky cabin was built in the 50s and split down the middle to create 2 different rental units. with this listing you get both sides of the cabin. You will have two entrances. Each door is labeled with a number; side 19 and side 20. There is a middle door that allows you to close off the entrance between the sides creating privacy for separate couples.

#19 side: living room with fireplace, kitchen, private bedroom with queen bed and loft with queen bed. The bathroom is near the bedroom, but not inside it. Bathroom has a pedestal sink and bath/shower combo. Take note what the ladder looks like to the loft space.

Welcome to a place with everything you need. The house sits on 2.5 acres of land with various outdoor seating options to relax after a long day hiking/biking and watch incredible sunsets. Lyons is known for the outdoors, and one of Lyons' best trails will be out your door. Your downstairs apartment is spacious and warm. You have a private entrance, private bedroom, and private bathroom. Your apartment is in the basement of our home.

If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. You will head down the road past the parking lot and continue to follow the one way dirt road all the way to the back of the property and around to the right. You will pass a garage and stand alone cabin. Keep going a little further and your cabin will be the second one back on your left with the Red chairs on the deck. The cabin name is Walnut. Park in the unloading zone to get your things into your cabin and then continue to follow the one way road around back to the parking lot. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to your cabin. We wanted to keep the property quiet, peaceful and natural for all of our guests so you can enjoy all the property has to offer! Please feel free to check out our property but please be mindful of other guests. You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to go. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.

Other things to note
Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bear, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge.

Outdoor Firepits: We have 5 gas firepits on the property for you to enjoy. Please remember to turn the firepit and the propane off when you are done.

River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area.

WIFI: we do have wifi and it is usually good! However we are in the canyon so it can be spotty at time depending on weather etc. we hope you can unplug alittle and enjoy the outdoors!

The Studio is private, unshared space attached to our home but with a separate entrance. Self check-in with keypad access enables a no-contact stay while on our property.

The space is 400 square feet and features a king sized bed with brand new mattress and linens, a lounging area with Direct TV, high speed internet, a dining area, a bathroom and kitchenette.

The kitchenette features a microwave, electric skillet, toaster, refrigerator, dish ware, sink, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. Coffee, tea and assorted beverages and snacks are provided. Please note there is no oven or stovetop.

Outdoor space features a covered patio with seating, lounge chairs with shade umbrella, a fire dish with firewood provided and a BBQ grill.

The space is basement-level accessed by 1/2 flight of stairs and is not handicap accessible.

You have a private entrance, patio and outdoor lounge area with reclining lounge chairs, shade umbrella and your own BBQ. Guests are welcome and encouraged to explore and enjoy the entire property including use of the fire pit near the pond weather permitting.

The space
Welcome! The Cedar Cabin will be a great basecamp for all your mountain adventures! Walk into this cabin and you immediately feel the coziness with a gas fireplace! We have a soft Queen size bed to sleep in after a day of adventuring. Need a shower after a long day of hiking our bathroom has been fully remodeled complete with shower, fresh towels and eco friendly soaps! Step out into your private fenced in patio to grill your favorite mountain meal or just relax and listen to the hummingbirds.

From the living area walk right to the kitchen to make a meal or grab some coffee! In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee and all the cookware and dishes you need! Its a beautiful day and you feel like grilling? No problem! Open the back door and walk out onto your private patio and enjoy grilling or just relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

This cabin as been fully remodeled and ready for you to come and enjoy! This cabin shares a front porch with the cabin next door, duplex style. If you have other family or friends that would like to travel with you but stay in their own cabin please ask us as we do have 9 other cabins throughout the property!

If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. You will head down the road past the parking lot and continue to follow the one way dirt road all the way to the back of the property and around to the right. You will pass a garage and stand alone cabin. Keep going a little further and your cabin will be the second one back on your right with the green chairs on the deck. The cabin name is Cedar. Park in the unloading zone to get your things into your cabin and then continue to follow the one way road around back to the parking lot. It will be a short walk from the parking lot to your cabin. We wanted to keep the property quiet, peaceful and natural for all of our guests so you can enjoy all the property has to offer! Please feel free to check out our property but please be mindful of other guests. You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to go. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.

Other things to note
Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bear, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge.

Outdoor Fire pits: We have 5 outdoor gas firepits on the river for you to use. Please make sure you turn off the fire pit and propane when you are finished.

River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area.

WIFI: We do have wifi and it is usually great! However we are in the canyon and sometimes it can get spotty depending on weather etc.

Ute 3 at Pathways Ranch is a joint unit with a door separating each half of the unit. Enjoy a nearby bar/restaurant called The Grill Guy. Winter trip? Eldora Ski resort is only 30 miles away! Please be sure to rinse off before entering the hot tub to ensure it stays clean for the entirety of your trip. Relax and have fun!

Guest access
Guests will have convenient access to parking areas located just steps from the tiny home. Upon arrival, check-in takes place at the WeeShare House, located at the entrance to the property. Up to two keys will be provided at check-in. For added flexibility, self-check-in is also available with prior notice.

Please note that there are other tiny homes available for rent on the property, so while your space is private, you'll be sharing the overall grounds with other guests.

Our 10-acre property serves as a quiet, private park for guests during the week, with open grassy areas, river access, and space to relax. On some weekends, the adjacent River Bend venue hosts weddings or events. While not every weekend is booked, guests may notice occasional activity, especially on Saturday afternoons and evenings. Shared outdoor spaces remain open for guest use throughout.

If you're staying in a home with a loft, please take care when using the stairs. The railing is there to help, so feel free to use it for support. Like most tiny homes, the loft has limited headroom, so just keep that in mind as you move around. We want to make sure your stay is as safe and comfortable as it is memorable!

The birdhouse is a lovely, comfy place to stay within about a 1/4 mile of, and on a hill above, fabulous downtown Lyons and Planet Bluegrass. 30 mins from RMNP, live music, hiking and mtn and rd biking abound. Newly remodeled 600 sf; gas fp; balcony, views and large kitchenette (no big oven), this studio feels spacious- perfect for 1-2 people. Stay for a few days or a few months. Its located over the garage with a private entrance. Storage for bikes and skis in garage. Off-street parking.

Cathedral ceiling,and chairs on the balcony, huge double headed shower, a dining area. A desk and/or pac n' play crib can be added to accommodate your needs. We call it the birdhouse because it's high and the previous owner had an infamous cockatiel. Dogs that rarely bark are welcome.
