Upon entry into this charming property you will walk into our foyer. Leading to your left is the door to the single car garage, small semi-fenced newly finished yard which offers a great gathering place around the wood burning fire pit overlooking the Red River. This spectacular cabin is gorgeous inside and out. The front porch has sweeping views of the valley and mountains surrounding. Sit on the porch swing or the Adirondacks and take in the sounds of the Aspen leaves rustling and the river down below.

The Charlie Cabin is outfitted in pine and creates the dreamiest backdrop for your mountain stay. The beautiful sunlight in the mornings beams on either side of the majestic fireplace. Firewood is stocked for your stay to be sure you have a fire going as much as you'd like! Be sure and walk down to the river and enjoy the access to the riverfront.

Make yourself at home in our fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook your favorite meals. Plenty of counter space and basic kitchen supplies are also supplied: spices, cooking oil, foil, and ziplocks. It is a charming kitchen with beautiful views towards The National Forest! Claim Jumper A-Frame #3 is one of our newest vacation rentals and quickly becoming a favorite spot! This home has so much going for it! Not only is it in the perfect location of town to shops, restaurants, and the Red River Ski & Summer Area, it sits on the river and is around the corner from the Zipline and fishing ponds! Not to mention the hot tub for all of its guests to use! This home is a two-story property with a couple steps up onto the deck to enter. When you first come into A-Frame 3 you will find the living room accented with a soft sofa that folds down into a bed perfectly aligned with the wood-burning fireplace which captivates you as you watch the untamed flames dance amongst the wood. The large flat-screen TV allows you to comfortably sit and watch cable and a DVD player. Next to the living room, you will find a half bath and the dining area with a wood table with enough seating for 6 persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with all basic essentials for cooking, baking, and food preparations and does include a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker. Up the stairs, to the second level, you will find the master bedroom on the right furnished with a king bed, private balcony and TV, DVD, and VHS Player for added relaxation. The doorway between the two bedrooms leads to the newly updated full bathroom with lots of counters and cubby space. The guest bedroom includes a queen bed and one set of twin/full bunk beds. Room 9 is upstairs on the West facingside of the property on Prospector Trail.Room 9 is our largest kitchenette room and the only one that has 2 queen size beds. The entryoffers a large living area with a sleeper sofa, arm chair withottoman, and coffee table. The 43" smart TV sits on a cubby shelf with 4 bins to store clothing or other items. The bathroom is roomy with a full tub and removable shower sprayer. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and enjoy a home cooked meal. There is also a coffee maker complete with coffee pods, sweetener, and creamer, a full size refrigerator, microwave, and toaster.
The best part about room 9 may just be the view from the front balcony. Sit on the comfortable bar stools outside of your room and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

Claim Jumper #19, fondly called Hans’ Haus, is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhouse between the river and the fishing ponds, just a stone’s throw from the Red River Ski Area’s Platinum Chair Lift.

Newly renovated in the spring of 2021, this townhouse is a 3-level property with bedrooms on both the middle and upper levels. This unit will make you feel right at home as the gas fireplace, which is the primary heat for the home, greets you into an inviting living space.

The first floor has tile throughout and has several special amenities. The boot barn area is a great place to store ski, snow, and hiking boots. The top shelf of the boot barn area is perfect for hats, scarves, and gloves, along with a charging station for electronic devices. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa that guests can enjoy, along with a flat-screen Tv and a ceiling fan. Granite countertops, with a breakfast bar extension housing four stools, create an open area for conversation with the chefs. The kitchen is fully equipped for any meals you decide to create during your stay in Red River. The main level also has a half bathroom and washer/dryer for your convenience.

As you make your way up to the second level, you will discover the master bedroom which has a queen bed, flat-screen Tv, private bathroom, and balcony overlooking the fishing ponds. Down the hallway is another bedroom with a queen bed. You will also find a second full bath on this level.

The top-level hosts a third bedroom loft furnished with two sets of bunk beds which have twin-sized mattresses on the top and full-sized beds on the bottom. A flat-screen Tv is easily accessible to connect to your game console or computer.

Amenities include a full-size washer/dryer on the first floor, WiFi, satellite tv via DirectTv, charcoal grill, a fire pit in the courtyard, and a ski closet on the front porch. This property is perfect for remote workers because it has High Speed WiFi! Each Claim Jumper unit has 2 dedicated parking spots. All other vehicles will need to park off the property. Since room 4 is a corner room, there are 2 windows - both with beautiful views. There is also a comfortable outdoor rocker that makes a great place to start a good book.The room is also equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee pods, creamer, and sweetener.

Cabin 14 is the first cabin in the row of cabins facing the river and has a semi-covered porch with a great view of the mountains. The river sounds are easily allowed inside by opening a window or door. This cabin is also just steps from the fishing pond! Cabin 14 is a 1 bedroom loft cabin. PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 1-mile hike (or bike) to the Midway Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat. There is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. We provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

The space
The Midway Yurt is 24' in diameter and has beds for up to 11: 4 full futon sofa beds, one twin fold out floor bed, and one cot-style "bunkbed." Additional guests can use pads on the floor or pitch a tent outside. The beds are comfortable but you will need to bring your own bedding, specifically, sleeping bags or comforters.

The Midway Yurt serves as a "warming yurt" for skiers and snowshoers in the wintertime. Unlike our other three yurt listings (Latir, Little John and Long John), this yurt is not insulated and is only available for use when there is no snow on the ground.

We provide 15-21 gallons of water, but it is always a good idea to bring some with you. Also provided: Kitchen items, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. and a stove and lantern. See yurt instructions for a more comprehensive list.

The Midway Yurt is semi-primitive but comfortable and features:
• Wood stove for heat with firewood
• Dining table and chairs
• Kitchen area with cooking supplies and cook stove
• Propane Lantern
• Beds (you supply bedding. 30º sleeping bags highly recommended)
• Porta-a-potty (outdoors)

Guest access
The yurt is yours. The Midway is ¼ mile away from the next closest yurt. The trails are, however, used by hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, firewood gatherers and (in season) hunters. That said, it is still remote and mostly isolated from the public.

Other things to note
This yurt makes the perfect weekend or week-long getaway for a couple or small family looking for a unique experience. Step outside and you’re in a mountain paradise at around 9,800 feet elevation in the Carson National Forest.

This is a rustic experience and is not ideal for guests with mobility issues or guests who are uncomfortable with keeping a wood burning stove going for heat in the middle of the night.

You will have to walk outside to use the porta-potty. Bring slippers and a jacket and expect chilly weather at night.

Because it is basically a large, sturdy “tent”, the yurt can get toasty inside during summer months. Windows provide ventilation, but please be aware that in the heat of the day it can get warm in there.

In colder months and at night, most guests will want to heat the yurt with the wood burning stove. Enchanted Forest provides wood throughout your stay, however you'll have to feed the fire throughout the night to keep warm. Again, this is rustic and part of the experience. Most of our guests are happy to feed the fire. If you are highly sensitive to or uncomfortable with the cold, please consider booking the Yurt at a warmer time of year.

Finally, there can be wind, dust, and sometimes small critters (you’re in a tent in the woods, after all). If you're looking for a five-star resort type of experience, this might not be the best place for you.

To pick up your keys and/or keyless entry code, check in at the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 West Main Street Red River, NM, 87558. If you anticipate being late, you must notify Reservations Unlimited and they will provide instructions to access your reserved property after hours. 4 Wheel Drive is often required to access the driveway during the winter months.

Please proceed to the Reservations Unlimited office located at 312 W Main to complete the check-in process. Reservations Unlimited is currently using contactless check-in - please look for an envelope with your last name displayed on or near the office door upon arrival into town. This envelope will contain all of the relevant check-in information but we do ask that you review and sign the first page and either leave that with a team member or in the dropbox located by the office door.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen supplied with everything you need for cooking. Condo 1B is in close walking distance to everything downtown. Condo 1B can also join Condo 1A for large families or friends who want to be together if both units are rented. Condo 1B is on the first floor and does not require stairs.

The space
This is a non-smoking property. Parking is very tight please pull in close to deck so other guests can get around your vehicle. Over flow parking is across Main street behind Hillcrest bank. Dog park conveniently located nearby to let your pet run free. We bought this unit over a year ago, however, the previous owner was still the host for us. We are now hosting starting in April! Parking is very tight please be mindful of other guests trying to go around your vehicle. All wheel drive or 4×4 will be needed during the winter. This condo has a gravity fed heater which is very reliable without electricity, if the power goes out it will still work. When temperatures are in the teens or lower the heater will make a popping sound due to hot and cold. If you’re a light sleeper please be aware, bring ear plugs or a sound machine.

Cabin 14 is a 1 bedroom loft cabin facing the river and has a semi-covered porch with a great view of the mountains. The river sounds are easily allowed inside by opening a window or door. This cabin is also just steps from the fishing pond! Cabin 14 has a king bed in the upstairs loft that is accessible by a staircase. On the main floor is the living room with queen sofa bed, gas fireplace, full size kitchen and bathroom with shower. Cabin 14 cannot accommodate pets.

The space
Our guests have access to our private fishing pond, we stock weekly May through September (daily limit 5 fish per day per cabin at no additional charge) our playground, and picnic/Grill areas.

There are 2 queen beds one is a fold out couch in the living room/kitchen area. 1 bathroom with a shower. Bath soap or shampoo is not provided. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook with. This condo is pet friendly, there is a dog park not to far to let your dog run free! Outside is a grill & smoker. Only 1 vehicle per condo, no trailers. No elevators.
