These individually decorated and furnished accommodations include desks. Pillowtop beds feature premium bedding. A pillow menu is available. 55-inch flat-screen televisions come with satellite channels.

Bathrooms include showers, designer toiletries, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. This Salida bed & breakfast provides complimentary wireless Internet access, with a speed of 100+ Mbps (good for 1–2 people or up to 6 devices). Additionally, rooms include irons/ironing boards and ceiling fans. In-room massages and change of towels can be requested. Housekeeping is provided daily.

- "The hosts were welcoming but not intrusive during our stay. The lodge lounge, eating area and patio was set up comfortably with views of the farm and mountains. Breakfast with home made biscuits and gravy, fruit strudel and fresh ranch eggs was delicious. Beside good brewed coffee they have an expresso machine and would offer a variety of coffee drinks. There is a well maintained trail that goes in a loop around their property with views of Salida valley. About a 35 minute walk. Their farm has hens, ducks, llama, cow, goats and their dogs. Would visit again if we are passing through that way. We enjoyed the suite on the ground floor that we had."

The space
Our “casita” has all the comforts you need for an amazing Colorado getaway! Private entrance. WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer/ Dryer. Electric fireplace. Smart TV. Open floor plan. Private deck to enjoy your panoramic mountain Views. Private fenced yard (6 feet tall).

Comfortably sleeps four with 2 queen beds (upstairs queen bed & downstairs sofa queen sleeper). If needed a trundle bed (full) pulls out from under the upstairs queen bed.

Fenced yard is perfect for your clean, well-behaved pup. We only ask that you pick up after your dog (both inside and out). Fence is 6 foot tall.

Conveniently park your car off the street under the protection of the deck.

New construction apartment over garage with a surprising amount of space! There is a large deck for enjoying the views of S Mountain and the Collegiate Peaks. Off-street parking is directly in front of unit for up to 2 vehicles. Fully furnished this listing includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and spacious kitchen/living/dining space. The washer/dryer is inside the unit and a garage space is available. Hot/cold water hosebib for washing bikes, ski's, etc!

The space
Open living/kitchen/dining with enough space for 3-4 people to enjoy a meal together. Kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook as you would at home.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a twin over double bunk bed WITH a pull out trundle bed. Both bedrooms have closets with built-in storage.

The laundry area is central in the unit and a linen closet has all the essentials for your stay.

There are individual heaters in each room and a mini-split system for heat and AC.

The west side of the garage (1 car) is available for parking, gear storage and serves as a great landing pad when you get back from enjoying Salida's outdoor activities. There is a hot/cold hosebib by the garage door which is awesome for washing gear year round.

Other things to note
There are long term renters in the front house who are extremely pleasant and quiet. The east side of the garage is used for personal and business storage so at times we will be by to access. This is very rare, however, and does not interfere with guests or require access through the guest space.

Cozy up at Kestrel’s Loft — a private, peaceful, fully furnished 1 bed/1 bath retreat with beautiful Sawatch Range views. Enjoy open plan comfort in this 520 sq ft space on 9 acres, just 10 min to Salida, 20 to Buena Vista and hot springs, and 28 to Monarch Ski Area. Carefully kept as a chemical/fragrance-free, pet-free haven for sensitive guests. Perfect for short or extended stays and for relaxing after a day of adventure.

The space
The property contains 1 bedroom with an organic queen mattress bed with a view of the mountains to the west, 2 night stands with reading lamps and a closet/shelving area for unpacking. A portable fan is included for your comfort.

The living room has a full size futon/couch. Books, cards, board games, an air purifier, and a portable self evaporating air conditioner included for your enjoyment and comfort.

There is a loft area accessible by an attached ladder. There is limited space, but includes a full sized floor mattress and storage shelving. This space is not recommended for young children without adult supervision.

There is a full bath stocked with artificial/chemical fragrance-free soaps/shampoo/conditioner for your use. Hair dryer, dedicated towels for river and hot springs use, and basic first aid kit are also provided.

Cleaning supplies (also chemical/artificial fragrance free) are included in the bathroom storage area.

The kitchen has all of the appliances and amenities you will need during your stay, including coffee & tea, and resource materials to help you plan and enjoy your explorations of the Arkansas River communities, activities, and wildlands.

There is a washer and dryer (with artificial fragrance-free detergent provided) for your convenience, as well as an iron and small ironing board.

There is a small deck for taking in the mountain air, camp chairs are provided for use on the property or for taking on your adventures in the area. You may wish to wander the 9 acres pinon/sage/grass property to take in the sunset over the mountains.

The entire 2nd level of the unit is available.

Other things to note
The property owners live in the residence adjacent to the apartment. There are 2 friendly dogs (Anson and Rynn) who do like to say hello to guests when they arrive by barking. They are contained within a fenced yard unless accompanied by owners.

There is a dedicated parking space on the northern-most portion of the garage slab (and/or on the north side of the garage).
