Centrally located in the heart of Edwards. This 1 bedroom apartment is surrounded by miles of trails that can either take you directly into the town of Edwards or to the middle of the mountains. It's attached to our family home, however it's a separate apartment with your own entrance, privacy and space.
The space
This unit is an apartment lock-off from our home. We will be available should you need anything during your stay. You will have a designated parking space in the driveway, from there you will see a path that will lead you to the lock-off apartment.
The apartment consists:
-1 guest bedroom (queen size bed, dressed in comfortable linens, dressers)
-Living room (full-size pull out sofa bed, television and seating area to relax)
-Kitchenette (full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven and dishes)
-Bathroom (full size shower, toilet, sink area)

"Stay Awhile" a large studio minutes from Vail & Beaver Creek nestled by a babbling creek and a natural spring. Secured private entrance, kitchen, full bath, living & dining, gas fireplace, queen bed, WIFI, TV, hardwood floor, starry nights and massive pine tress provides privacy, making this the ideal Colorado mountain getaway.
For guests needing additional space, an additional reservation can be made at "Unwind" directly under "Stay Awhile". This room as a queen bed, bathroom and a W/D.
The space
You will stay just minutes from the town of Edwards where there are many scrumptious restaurants, shopping, grocery store, liquor store and a movie theater (Riverwalk). Approx. times to ski resorts: 4 min. to Arrowhead, 6 min. to Beaver Creek and 25 min. to Vail. Very quiet and serene mountain setting, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. Designated mountain trails within a mile for snow shoeing and/or hiking. The host lives in the main house (separate building) on the property and is available to make your stay as perfect as possible. Come and Stay Awhile! You will not want to leave!
Guest access
The South end of the property is yours to explore and enjoy: small private deck off the front door (faces away from the main house towards the New York Mountain Range), chairs next to the stairs, a meditation/yoga/reading shaded pergola and seating along the creek. There is a small walking 5min path around the spring and the creek down by the firepit. Due to fire risk, the fire pit and chiminea are for owner use only.

The hosts follows Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:

*Extra cleaning supplies are available, so guests can clean as they stay
Because this property is in the heart of the mountains/rural; the host cannot guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted availability and accessibility to the Internet, cell service, and cable TV.
Family and friends of the host may use the bedroom underneath "Stay Awhile" (the studio). Please be sensitive to heavy walking, loud music or TV, etc. while staying at "Stay Awhile". The same respect is expected from the host's family and friends. Host will let guest know if the room will be occupied during the guest's stay. This bedroom may be rented by a guest with a confirmed reservation if additional space is needed.
"Stay Awhile" is located over the host's/homeowner's garage. Potential noise: garage door opening/closing, the use of power tools or hammers, etc.
The property is a working living property. On occasion, service workers will be present to address any needs of the property. Interruptions of any kind may occur. Snow removal/plow truck may occur early mornings as well as lawn mowers during the day.

Stunning, spacious and immaculate one bedroom lock off, 3/4 bath, full kitchen, living & dining areas all right on a creek! The sound of the roaring creek is restorative for the soul. Sitting on the deck or on the patio is absolute bliss. You will not want to leave! The Riverwalk at Edwards is only a few miles away, so you have the best of both worlds ~ being immersed in nature while having easy access to restaurants, cafes, shops, and more.
The space
"Just Breathe" is part of the homeowners home. It is located at the entrance to the property. There are two security doors (like connecting rooms have in a hotel) between the main house and the lock off. Both doors lock from each side.
The home is located 75' from a creek. There is NO CREEK ACCESS anywhere from "Just Breathe". CAUTION: the hillside in the back of the property is steep and drops down to the creek (with a lot of trees and bushes along the way).
Guests have access to just the north side of the property.
1. Back of property/creek side: outdoor dining table and a deck that extends toward the creek.
2. Entrance to the driveway: a wooded area on the left. CAUTION: there is a short steep loose gravel entry
