The space
This bright, cozy, brand new 450 sq. ft. (41 sq. m) guesthouse is located on the ground level, under a main residence and outside your living area window you have views of Lake Granby and the Roosevelt and Arapahoe National Forests mountain peaks to greet you in the morning.
The guesthouse features a brand new living space with a cozy living area, including space for relaxing, playing games, or watching TV and a dining space for two. Being a new guesthouse, it also features a brand new, modern kitchen with butcher block countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The furnishings of the entire home were new as of June 2023. Your bedroom features a king size bed, large smart TV, white noise machine and essential oil diffuser, as well as a walk-in closet with a full size washer and dryer.
Your bathroom features a bathtub, shower and brand new, well-stocked vanity.
Some helpful tips so that you know what to expect:
1. There is good sound-proofing throughout the guesthouse but we aim to be transparent: you may hear noise (our family or other guests) on the property if anyone is in the main home, especially if they are outside on the upstairs deck or in the games room that shares a wall with your kitchen and living area.
2. You will need to ascend up 2-3 stairs with your luggage to enter the guesthouse.
The guesthouse is also stocked for you with kitchen essentials, bath essentials (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, lotion, Qtips, floss picks, cotton balls, etc.), and much more to help ensure you have a comfortable stay (essential oil diffuser, white noise machine, air conditioning and heat, as well as fans, extra comforters, and space heaters).
Guest access
You'll have full access to your private guesthouse and a private outdoor space that includes a charcoal grill and seating area with an outdoor couch, chair and table, just for the guesthouse.
Guest access couldn't be easier - we use a Smart Lock system at the guesthouse, making your check-in and access to your vacation rental a breeze. Your Smart Lock access code and more instructions for a wonderful, successful stay are sent to you via AirBnB immediately after you complete your booking so that you have everything that you need right away.
Other things to note
In the winter, you must have a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to access the property as you must drive up one hill that is often snow and/or ice covered.
