Stay in a fun and relaxed social atmosphere on a budget. Conveniently located right on the river with access to routes and trails right behind us. Our dorm beds are comfortable , and our shared spaces are clean and spacious. If you're out hiking the Colorado Trail or biking the Divide Route we are the perfect place to refresh and resupply. All linens and towels are included, and we have everything a traveler on a budget could want.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends. We do have a $10 pet fee per dog, per night which we charge on arrival.

The space
The Private Room is located in the hostel to give guest a bit more privacy. Guests are able to interact with other guests as they wish, utilizing the kitchen and common spaces. Please note that there are no bathrooms in the room - bathrooms are shared in the hostel with the exception of the Private Suite.

Guest access
All guests check-in in the afternoon with a staff member. At that time they will be given a code to the front door which allows them to come and go as they please during their stay.

Other things to note
We are located in historic downtown Salida, which is great for enjoying all our adorable town has to offer on foot. This does mean there is only street parking for the lodge, this however has never been a problem.

Our Family Suite has 1 King bed and 2 sets of bunk beds to accommodate groups up to 6. It has a private attached bath, as well as a reading nook, desk, and a grand fireplace.

Perfect for groups visiting to ski or bike, or a budget minded option for travelling with kids.

Guests have access to all other hostel amenities, including common room, kitchen, patio, board games, and river access. A ten-minute walk from downtown, close enough to enjoy the nightlife, but far enough for peace and quiet.

A quiet, clean, private room with King bed and ensuite private bath, with views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains south of Salida. Guests have access to all other hostel amenities, including common room, kitchen, bbq area, board games, and river access. A ten minute walk from downtown, close enough to enjoy the nightlife, but far enough for peace and quiet.

The space
Our favorite room. Decorated in red and gray, there is a photo of Venice that reminds us of our favorite B&B ever.

There is one king bed with a private bathroom and a gas fireplace. The bathroom and shower are carved out of closets original to the house, and the shower opens directly into the room.

This room is very sunny and bright, with views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains south of Salida.

The deep blue and gray colors and the fireplace make this a cozy and delightful room. A view of the Sawatch Range and the Collegiate Peaks give this room our best view. The deep blue and gray colors and the fireplace make this a cozy and delightful room. A sleigh queen bed and modern bath tucked under an eave add to the charm.

The original Master bedroom in the house, featuring a Queen bed with additional twin bed tucked under the eves, this room has the original master bath with claw foot tub. A gas fireplace, and deep purple walls complete the space.

The space
Our suite has a queen bed and small sitting area outside of the bedroom. There is an extra bed tucked under the eaves, a perfect place for a child or third person in the room.

This room has a fireplace, and deep colored walls that frame the view of the mountains to the north.

The private bath is spacious and complete with a clawfoot tub as well as a shower.
