We have many guests at Scurlock Farms from the larger cities and are told they truly enjoy the peace and quiet in our country setting while visiting the area.

Others are thinking of buying property and moving to the country and wanted to "test drive" staying in a rural setting.

The "Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas" with its many shops and dining opportunities is only 10 minutes away.

Some choose to stay on the farm and enjoy the activities here, while others tour the wineries in the area, try out a different restaurant each evening (several farm-to-table), enjoy the live music available almost every night in Georgetown, go into Austin or shop the outlet malls in Round Rock. You get the idea...each one can have a unique experience.

Simply watch the horses, cows and goats as they graze in the pastures, watch and listen to the bird activity from the beautiful outdoor seating area with beautiful Texas Hill Country terrain, or stroll down to the river bottom and hike along the river.

Want to fish or learn how to fish, but don't want to bring all the equipment? No problem! Just let me know and I will give you our local fishing guide, John's, contact information. John will come to the farm and bring the bait and all the equipment, then give you a lesson!

Or, if you are more adventurous, help us feed and hold the baby goats - two more born today, feed apples to Ginger and Duster, our two horses; help gather eggs in the evenings from our free-range chickens; "drive" a tractor; pick something for dinner from the in-season garden; or if your little ones have a green thumb, they can help plant in the spring or fall; have a bonfire down on the wide river banks; or gather your own pecans from the 20 acre orchard in November.

Deep in the heart of Texas in the Texas Hill Country, this was the art studio of well known Texas landscape artist, C. P. Montague, one of President Lyndon B. Johnson's favorites. It was designed around centuries-old live oak trees. It is constructed of river rock picked up at the river on the property. Beautifully and comfortably furnished. New queen bed and quality linens.

Georgetown is only a 10 minute drive away and you can stroll around "The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas", eat in one of the many fine restaurants (several farm-to-table), or attend one of the many festivals held on the vibrant Georgetown Square throughout the year.

Check out a bike at the Georgetown Visitor Center at 103 W. 7th Street on the Georgetown Square. Explore beautiful downtown Georgetown or the amazing hike and bike trails! Rentals are free!

If you prefer to walk, pick up a brochure from the Visitor's Center on the Square and go on a self-guided walking tour of the historic home and business section of Georgetown and see many beautifully restored Victorian homes and read the stories behind them.

Austin is a 30 minute drive away, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds staying at Scurlock Farms.

What's in this property:
Welcome to our 3-acre property! As you enter using the provided gate code, you'll find the cabin entrance to the left, just a short walk away. Separated by an 8ft fence, there are two RVs where our groundskeeper stays and another tenant. Within walking distance, yet not too close, you'll discover Mimi's Private Barn, where on Sundays there is a Christian service from 10:30 am-11:30 am, however, a few members get there at 9:00 am to setup, and they breakdown from 11:30 am-12:30 pm, please be aware that there may be occasional noise from the restrooms located to the side of the Cabin, accommodating our approximately 30 guests. And hey, you are welcome to join the service! occasional events take place—around six per year. The cabin is equipped with four restrooms, primarily used for events and also available to church guests on Sundays when we host services at the barn. Adjacent to the barn, you'll find the main two-story house, serving as Mimi's Party Palace LLC office and a private residence. We've provided a map for your convenience; follow the green path for entry and yellow for exit. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance with anything during your stay!

Just a few friendly rules to make your stay enjoyable:
1. No smoking inside—there's a $300 fee for any lingering smells or cigarette butts. Let us know if you're a smoker; we'll set up an outdoor spot.
2. Designed for one or two adults, our cozy cabin is your perfect retreat.
3. Sorry, no pets allowed. Thanks for understanding and respecting our space. Your comfort is our priority!

Get away from it all in this luxurious two-bedroom log cabin minutes away from downtown Georgetown, TX. The cabin sits on a 22-acre gated equine facility dedicated for 3-day events. Enjoy views of Georgetown's beautiful countryside from the cabin's wrap around covered patio or watch equine professionals train magnificent thoroughbreds on the property's show jumping and dressage arenas. The cabin boasts an antler chandelier upon entry, vaulted ceilings, stained concrete floors, a folding sliding glass door, and unique custom made wood furniture. This is truly a one-of-a-kind destination.

Our tiny house and tree house sit on five wooded acres in the Georgetown/Liberty Hill area and are joined by a large deck. There are 4 beds (two twins and one queen) situated in the two loft areas, and a love seat inside the tiny house, table and two chairs, bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, keurig, electric griddle. The sitting area has TV with apple TV available for streaming services. The treehouse has 2 camping cots for sleeping and a window AC unit to keep you cool while playing or sleeping.

Our property is full of mature trees and wildlife, in addition to a chicken coop full of hens, and a garden.

The saltwater pool is open. Pool heating is available for a fee during cooler months. We do recommend heating if nightly temps dip below 70. Message for details!

We do allow for additional guests, in certain circumstances, at a rate of $50 per day, per guest.

Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are also available for local travel.
Only registered guests stay on the premises and use the outdoor amenities, such as the pool and grill. If you would like to invite additional guests to utilize the outdoor amenities, please let us know in advance and obtain our approval. Please note that unauthorized guests will result in additional charges & will be asked to leave.
