Our Cabin on the Hill is a Historic Seidel Family 1849 Austin County Cabin relocated to a secluded hilltop spot overlooking Mill Creek. It is fully renovated with custom fixtures, reclaimed wood, and stone improvements as well as on of a kind antiques.

It is a one room cabin with a Queen Bed. There is a kitchenette with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and pots, and pans. It features a full bathroom with claw foot tub and hand held shower.

There is a wood burning stone fireplace and also central air conditioning and heat.

Linens and towels are provided in addition to a hairdryer and Texas Lavender bath products.

There is a covered porch with rocking chairs to relax in.

- "RockinStar Ranch is a great destination for the whole family. Darrell (the host) is incredibly responsive and was gracious with his time. He took us on a tour of the ranch and my 9-year old son had a blast looking at the animals and just riding around. The pool was what initially brought us in, but there is so much more the ranch has to offer. The three of us went fishing each morning and caught and released 20+ fish. My 9-year old also received private riding lessons from Darrell's son, which I highly recommend. We also got to feed some baby goats. The accommodations were as advertised and I know we will be back."

Our Deer Trail Cabin was designed to just have fun and relax. Its located inside Frank and Kev RV Park and only 1 1/2 miles from beautiful Lake Somerville. Sleeps up to 6 people. Made entirely out of wood with many custom built features, gives you the outdoor country feeling. Primary bedroom has a queen size bed. Upstairs loft has a queen size bed. Our original mid-1800’s Hinze Cabin was relocated from Frelsburg Texas to StarHill Farms and overlooks our horse pasture. It has been fully restored using reclaimed wood, custom fixtures, and beautiful antiques.

It has a large living room with high ceilings, a separate bedroom with Queen Bed. There is a kitchenette with stove, subzero refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, and dishes. There is a full bathroom with walk in shower.

There is a wood burning stone fireplace and also central air conditioning and heat.

Linens and towels are provided in addition to a hairdryer and Texas Lavender bath products.

We are on 20 acres and have 2 cabins for rent on our property. The pool, palapa, and outdoor kitchen is a short walk from the cabin and located next to our home. This area is shared with both cabins. I have had several people ask about hosting parties, baby showers, etc. Anyone not included in the reservation should not be on property without permission from the host. Maximum number of guest for this cabin is 6.

Front door opens to a living room furnished with well appointed leather bar stools, sofa and chair. On cold nights don't hesitate to turn up the faux wood burning stove. The master suit has a queen size bed with an exterior door to a covered porch which overlooks the pond. Tuck the kiddos into their rustic bunkbeds after they have had a day playing outdoors enjoying a closet full of games. In addition to two bedrooms enjoy a queen sized loft with barn doors and a adjusted air flow system to keep guest comfortable and a desk for those who might need to check in at the office. The kitchen is not just spacious and equipped with all the necessities it is stocked with fresh on site farm eggs and sausage. Other amenities include a rock swimming pool, his and her pool side restroom/shower facilities, palapa, outdoor kitchen, fishing and walking trails.

The size of the cabin was just perfect for a family of four. Everything was spotlessly clean. Materials/ construction top quality. Nice towels. Bed was firm and comfortable (definitely beats 2 or 3 star hotel beds). Kitchen has everything including plastic kid’s plates and utensils. Nice smelling hand soap. I forgot makeup remover wipes, but host provided. Pool area better than pictures! Kids loved watching the geese and the ducks. The tree swing, closet full of games, and chest full of pool toys were all a big hit. Our four year old did not want to leave."

Our Possum Run Cabin was designed to just have fun and relax. Its located 1 1/2 miles from beautiful Lake Somerville State Park. Lake Somerville has fishing, biking, kayaking, hiking, boat ramps and many other things to do. Our cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably and has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Large smart TV for watching the sport games. Outside charcoal grill for cooking and a Full kitchen. Come and enjoy the county life with a weekend getaway under the stars. - "My family and I really loved this cabin. The proximity to the lake is what drew us in, but when we got there, we decided we would definitely be repeat users. It was the perfect space for our family of 4 (plus dog!) Our plans changed a bit, and we couldn’t make it in the first night of our rental. However, the owner very accommodating. It was Father’s Day & my husband’s birthday, so we had plans to bake cupcakes one night after a day of lake fun. However, they didn’t have mixing bowls or a cupcake pan (I admit… it’s not something a lake house should typically have…) but just in case you have plans to do the same, bring your own. They do have a few Pyrex dishes that we ended up using. Overall, it was so wonderful. We can’t wait to book again!"

We also have a second full private bathroom in between the bunk bed sleeping areas and full clothes washer and dryer downstairs.

Outside, we have a pool (not heated), trampoline, grill, multiple seating areas, a fire pit, and huge yard.

The Longhorn and Stetson cabins, stocked with essentials for the perfect Texas getaway, are situated on a 100 acre family ranch. Within the gated property amenities are plenty for a short or extended stay - including walking trails, 2 ponds for fishing, a horse barn with pool table, basketball and pickle ball and a nine hole frisbee golf course. Wifi(not always perfect - as it is the country) is available and the Longhorn cabin has a TV and DVD player.

Enjoy a serene walk in the woods, relax on the porch overlooking the hay field or get active at “the big barn” playing pickleball or basketball - whatever your pleasure, there is much adventure to be had.

For TAMU Aggie fans, the property is 45 minutes from Kyle field/College Station and is a nice stopping point before or after game day or parent weekend(s).

Our Deer Trail Cabin was designed to just have fun and relax. Its located inside Frank and Kev Rv Park and only 1 1/2 miles from beautiful Lake Somerville. Sleeps up to 6 people. Made entirely out of wood with many custom built features, gives you the outdoor country feeling. Primary bedroom has a queen size bed. Upstairs loft has a queen size bed. The Living Room has a Sleeper Sofa , Large TV with Rustic Bench Table that can seat up to 6 people. Outdoor fire pit and Charcoal grill.

The space
Our cabin has a outdoor fire pit and Pellet Grill with picnic table. Free wood when available just ask the park host. Relax by the fire and watch the deer come out in the afternoon. We are only 1 1/2 miles from Birch Creek State Park. There is great fishing, hiking trails, and mountain bike trails. Bring your boat, jet ski or rent a canoe. Relax by the Pavilion or swim in the lake.

Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

The space
Once you enter the front gates of the property, the cabin has its own private gate and driveway that will lead you down a winding, rustic dirt trail to the parking area adjacent to the cabin. From the cabin, you can see our small barn, the sheep pasture, the cow pasture and trees on all sides of you. With a heavy focus on wildlife and supporting wildlife habitat, the grounds around the cabin are left in their wild state. It is not uncommon to see rabbits, armadillos, or an abundance of other wildlife foraging around the grounds. A fire pit is provided for grilling, or stories around the campfire. Hammocks and rocking chairs provide outdoor relaxation opportunities. Indoors, board games, books and music in a cozy log cabin setting allow for relaxation and fun.

The cabin is accessed by way of our winding, rustic dirt trail. You will have a fun, but bumpy ride once you enter the property. During rain events, this drive can be muddy.

You are able to access the whole home minus the mechanical room downstairs. Access to lake is behind the home within walking distance. There is a boat ramp in the Apache subdivision next door. If water is too low at this boat ramp, you can access another boat ramp in city limits of Somerville.

The Cabin at Crazy K Farm is a small, two bedroom one-bathroom guest house situated next to a non-profit animal sanctuary in rural Hempstead. Our cabin is original to the property and has been updated to offer modern amenities and a warm, rural, old-Texas ambiance that reflects its original cattle-ranch roots. Wake up to the calls of roosters and guinea fowl, or maybe even a little songbird tapping on your window! Proceeds from your stay support the animal sanctuary.

This is a small, newly renovated, rustic 2-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin. The walls are a bit delicate so no rough-housing please! The floors are the original unfinished, unsealed wood floors. Access is via walking on the grass around the cottage at the front, and up a short flight of wooden steps.

We are delighted to share our space with you! Our cabin sits on beautiful property in Brenham, TX and is able to accommodate up to 13 guests between the main cabin and the additional bedroom suite. The main cabin has a bedroom and a bunk room with 1.5 bathrooms. There is also an additional bedroom suite to the side of the main cabin with a bathroom and mini kitchenette.
