There’s also a charming coffee bar, perfect for brewing your favorite coffee or tea. The dining area seats 6, with a small island that seats 4.

Outside, you’ll find comfortable furniture and games for enjoying the fresh air. We provide a grill and smoker for cooking delicious meals (please bring your own charcoal and supplies). There’s also a fire pit with chairs, the ideal spot to watch the sunset and enjoy some tasty s'mores (firewood not included).

Come stay in a piece of history at the infamous John St. Helen cabin that has been converted into a quaint getaway right off of the historic downtown Glen Rose, Texas square. You will be just steps away from a variety of attractions including an old time soda shop, boutique shopping, dining options and even a local museum to learn about this very cabin. You will be just minutes away from the Paluxy River, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, and Squaw Valley Golf Course. The rustic cabin offers farmhouse décor with one bedroom with queen bed and one twin bed, a mini fridge with coffee bar and snacks, a claw foot tub and a front porch perfect to enjoy after a fun day of exploring. This is a beautiful fully furnished log cabin in lake town Granbury, TX. As you enter the property you will be invited by the large front porch where you can relax, chat, and laugh with your loved ones. As you enter the cabin, the large, cozy sunken living room would be waiting for your family. The well-stocked kitchen is ready for your cooking and entertaining your family. The large backyard has a U-shaped covered porch with outdoor sitting arrangement. Tall, large trees provide plenty of shades for perfect outdoor cooking.
This house is near the Granbury City Center – The Square. Plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from on Hwy 377 and The Square. Lake Granbury, The City Beach and hike and bike trails all are in a very close proximity for you to enjoy and have fun. There is a fishing dock and boat ramp right in the neighborhood for easy access. Pick you favorite for the day - fishing, boating, swimming, water sports, golfing – and enjoy all day long. Be sure to visit Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim Wildlife Center with your little humans only 30 to 40 minutes away at Glen Rose.

Linens provided, towels provided (total of 12 towels), shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also provided. We will provide basic hand soap along with one roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms. One roll of towel paper and small dish soap will be provided in the kitchen.

Our only problem was the 2 back bedroom beds were a little hard and we got toppers at walmart. Everything we needed was there. wish it hadn't been so hot outside but we played cornhole late at night and early morning. This gorgeous country like setting is only 2 miles from historic Granbury square but you will feel like you're out in the country. Enjoy the benefits of camping but the luxuries of home. Bring your jet skis to the large covered dock and enjoy the fire pit, bbq while watching the game on the lakefront 55” tv. You can relax while fishing from the dock or the kayaks. When weather permits you can enjoy the kayaks and a stand up paddle board or swim from the dock. You’ll never want to leave this peaceful place! This charming 310 square foot cabin is lakefront but sits behind a main house and next to a workshop. You will have your own fire pit, grill and patio furniture but have SHARED access to an outdoor dinning area, bigger fire pit on the large dock kayaks etc. We share the property with a variety of wildlife (to include coyotes and foxes) so it is NOT recommended to have your dog out of your sight. The 2100+ sq foot dock has seating, 4 jet ski lifts and a boat slip. In addition, there’s a woodworking workshop on the grounds we may be working in so feel free to come in & see what we’re working on! You will have your own private patio/fire pit & grill. The grounds are big enough for both places! It’s a very serene setting. *Please note: we love to have your well behaved furry family member. HOWEVER- you must add it to the booking. we do NOT allow cats due to allergies.. * We are conveniently located with so many things within 10-15 minutes!

This cabin has 2 bedrooms with queen beds in both and 2 baths. The kitchen has the usual appliances plus a dishwasher and washer and dryer. There is front and back door access with keypad entry and stairs up to both porches. There is a small fire pit area behind the house to enjoy. All of this is just 18 minutes from historical downtown Granbury.

Great for a couples get away, the historic town square has lots to offer like wineries, dining, shopping & relaxing. Perfect staycation w/ that special someone or making family memories, it’s close to Fossil Rim in Glen Rose.

The cabin is located on our family property where we are developing a cut flower farm. There is an open field in front of the cabin, with space for you to relax.

The cabin is situated on our family property along with another Airbnb cottage. We ask that residents of the cabin stay on their side of the driveway and on the cabin side of the little hill in order for all residents to have their privacy.

The space
THE SPACE:
The cozy little cabin offers one private bedroom with a comfy queen bed. The bedroom also offers a Roku TV.

The colorful living space includes a 65" Smart TV, Ikea sofa that folds out to make a full sized bed and a cozy electric fireplace to create the perfect setting.

The kitchen has plenty of space to prepare meals and cook your favorite recipes. There is also a Keurig machine for coffee. Note: at the cozy cabin we offer the full rustic experience with hand washing for dishes and laundry (i.e there is no dishwasher or washer and dryer).

The dining table is perfect and large enough for board games and enjoying meals. There is also a breakfast bar to spread out even more.

The full sized bathroom has a tub and shower combo.

Outside there is an amazing covered deck with tree top views. The deck features four couches, a picnic table, large screen TV, party lights and a gas grill. This space is great for outdoor living.

Additionally there is an attached 400 square foot open deck with beautiful views of lake Granbury where you can sit and watch the boats go by. This space also includes a wood firepit that is perfect for roasting marshmallows.

ACTIVITIES:
At the cozy little cabin there is lots to do... you can enjoy board games, books, puzzles, fishing poles, lawn games, nature walks and more. The community park is just two blocks away and offers a fishing pier, boat dock, pavilions, picnic tables, and grills. Enjoying views of nature and the lake from the decks are also great ways to pass the time. Naps and binge watching TV shows are popular as well.

HOUSE RULES:
The cozy little cabin is perfect for couples, small families or groups of 4 or less.
Please be respectful of the quiet neighborhood and reduce outside noise after 10pm.

We have 45 acres most of which you are welcome to explore. There is a dock that belongs to a neighbor that is off limits and a large dam that is as well. You can be anywhere in water around that dock and dam.

At this time there is a burn ban. Grill can still be used. The lake is low at this time so there is no jumping off diving board. Water is to shallow for that. The deeper areas are still around 15 feet deep. Lake has blue gill, crappie, bass, and catfish. We have a 1 man Jon boat for $10, 2 man Jon boat for $15, Barge for $30. You rent for use during your stay. Let me know which ones you want. You’ll have to bring cash for these because Airbnb doesn’t have a way for me to charge for them yet

This gorgeous country like setting is only 2 miles from historic Granbury square but you will feel like you're out in the country. Enjoy the benefits of camping but the luxuries of home. Bring your jet skis & fishing gear to the large covered dock and enjoy the fire pit, bbq and fishing as well as kayaks and a stand up paddle board. You’ll never want to leave this peaceful place!

The space
This charming 310 square foot cabin is lakefront but sits behind a main house and next to a workshop. You will have your own fire pit, grill and patio furniture but have SHARED access to a hot tub (ONLY available November through March), outdoor dinning area, bigger fire pit on the large dock kayaks etc. We share the property with a variety of wildlife (to include coyotes and foxes) so it is NOT recommended to have your dog out of your sight. The 2100+ sq foot dock has seating, 4 jet ski lifts and a boat slip. When it’s warm, you can kayak, stand up paddle board, fishing and more!

Note: there’s a bar area on the dock with a sink- the water is NOT in use. It is not intended for food prep etc. it just intended to be a place to sit drinks on, fishing gear, the life jackets are stored there etc.

We offer a cozy living room with a TV where you can relax with family or friends. The fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials, including spices for preparing delicious meals. There’s also a charming coffee bar, perfect for brewing your favorite coffee or tea. The dining area seats 6, with a small island that seats 4.

Outside, you’ll find comfortable furniture and games for enjoying the fresh air. We provide a grill and smoker for cooking delicious meals (please bring your own charcoal and supplies). There’s also a fire pit with chairs, the ideal spot to watch the sunset and enjoy some tasty s'mores (firewood not included).

Please respect the house rules to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.

After relaxing on the secluded 11 acres or picking pecans in the orchard you can take the short 5 minute drive into the fun town of Stephenville for dinner. Come back to the peaceful cabin and enjoy the pool, cabana or fire pit while gazing at the stars. Family friendly open spaces to enjoy for a few days in the country.

The space
When renting you will have the house, pool and cabana to yourself. There are eleven acres that you can wander through, approximately five that are a pecan orchard. Our family continues to make memories in this home and we are thrilled to offer it that your family also will make new memories!

When renting you will have the house, pool and cabana to your self. After enjoying dinner in town, a mere 5 minutes away, come back to 11 acres and relax by the pool, pick pecans, or enjoy the fire pit.



LIABILITY. The Landlord is not liable for any loss or damage to the personal property of the Guest or their guests, unless the loss is a direct result of the Landlord's action. The Guest is liable for the acts of anyone listed in this Agreement in addition to any guest that they should allow on the Premises. Tenants expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Landlord may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Tenants, and the Tenants should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests if such coverage is desired. Furthermore, Tenant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Landlord from any and all activities they may choose to engage in while in possession of the property. Your acceptance of this booking and or payment of deposit is an acknowledgment of your understanding and agreement to the terms of liability within this contract.

The pool will be covered and unavailable during the winter months. We have an excessive amount of trees that make keeping the leaves out of the pool impossible.
