We are conveniently located 30 minutes from the Austin Airport and 20 minutes to Marble Falls and the start of Austin's Hill country. We are also minutes from Lakeway and the Hill country galleria.

The beds are very comfortable, all of them are memory foam- the master bed has an additional 3 inch topper for added comfort.

The Aloha Cottage sits high on a corner lot on a little over two acres, on a dead end, across the street from Lake Travis. Approximately half of the property is wooded and the remaining half is an expansive front yard with numerous, gorgeous Live Oaks. (There is one tree on the property that is estimated to be 300 years old. It's a beauty!!) It is peaceful and abounding with Mother Nature. All of this yet still 15-30 minutes from numerous restaurants, shops and some great Spicewood nightlife.

Just down the street, a short 5 minute walk, is a private homeowner's park with a boat ramp, day dock, picnic tables and just about the best lake shore access this side of Lake Travis! The shoreline is a series of rock ledges, allowing for a refreshing plunge off the edge as if jumping into a pool. No squishy, muddy lake bottom! The ledges also allow for shallow water lounging for those who aren't swimmers. It is truly an incredible park that, on many days, you can enjoy all to yourself!

The Aloha Cottage is a detached guest cottage, tucked around back of the main house and has its own driveway and completely private entrance. Step across the checkered patio and into a room with three large windows facing the spacious front yard. The yard is fenced on one side and has a Jasmine hedge along the entire front, creating a private oasis. The cottage is fresh, bright and very clean. The whites, sandy beiges and multiple tones of turquoise create a welcoming and relaxing retreat.

The Aloha Cottage has a spa quality, GORGEOUS bathroom. This seriously cannot be overstated. If you are a "bath” person, look no farther. It has a custom colored, claw foot soaking tub with a chrome "Telephone" faucet set. There is a large glass enclosed shower, a huge, vintage-styled pedestal sink and a separate toilet room. One wall of the bathroom is clad in upcycled pallet wood adding a touch of warmth. It is stocked with a variety of soaking salts for your pleasure. Begin your stay by melting away stress with a good hot soak!

The bedroom features a queen bed with luxury 100% cotton bedding; your choice of feather or Allerease pillows, 100% cotton blanket or down comforter, a cozy coverlet and plenty of throws pillows to sit back and relax on. There's a comfy armchair that's big enough to snuggle into. In the same room is a simple "kitchenette" featuring a table for two under a bright, sunny window, a Keurig, small fridge, microwave and a hutch stocked with dishes, utensils and glassware. Everything you need for a comfortable and lovely stay.

Throughout the cottage, vintage, repurposed and upcycled materials have been used, making this artistic retreat truly unique, warm and very inviting.

CLEANING. We are committed to the highest standard of cleanliness and disinfecting procedures. Disinfecting solution will be available in the cottage. We have remote check in. The cottage cleaned and maintained by the owner and/or one trusted friend only. We do not use an outside cleaning source. The R & R River house (main house), Cowboy Cabin, Jolene's Airstream and Cactus Camper are four other VRBO rentals available on the property which is perfect if you have a large family or large group. You can rent all five cabins and enjoy the whole property to yourselves.

The Birdhouse Cottage has a kitchenette, king size bed and queen size sleeper sofa. The large bathroom has a standing shower and two sinks. The cottage has a smart TV with all major streaming services available for you to log in to, YouTube TV is included! Shared Amenities: We have a shared amenity center (between 2 Airbnbs) with pool, hot tub, trampoline, game room, goats to pet, grill, and more!

We love Pets at Bee Creek Ranch, but we also need to know if you're bringing them. We have a Pet fee of $75 for up to 2 pets. You can pay this during the online booking check out, or contact us before check-in and we'll send a payment link. If you bring a pet and it's not a legal service animal, you must pay the pet fee. Cleaning-up after pets often takes housekeeping hours more effort because their fine fur gets everywhere and vacuums won't clean it. Every inch of the cottage must be painstakingly inspected. This is true even for hypoallergenic pets. Please, when booking, include the pet so you can pay the pet fee. If you forgot or didn't see where to pay, please contact the host so you can pay directly. The funds go to housekeeping in order to make certain the next guest has an amazing experience. The pet fee covers and is limited to 2 pets per stay. If you have more than 2 pets reach out to us to see if we accept more than 2 pets in your situation and the pet fee addendum.

Bee Creek Ranch is in nature, and you'll see foxes, rabbits, tons of deer, and all other sorts of critters from time to time. While they are fun to watch, don't touch. This house is located and surrounded by nature - there will be bugs every now and then but we do address it as it comes with safe and natural bug treatment for kids. Unfortunately, this is part of living in the hill country and we must take its beauty with understanding.

There is a camera at the Entry, and back yard area. Only for security.

- "We were alittle skeptical at first of the water front.. but knew it has been very common because of drought that water levels have been low.. but it was plenty deep for my kiddos to play and swim. The cottage was perfectly clean, nicely decorated, and cold when we arrived. The kids enjoyed playing the games outside and I enjoyed sitting outside at night and watching the deer that made their way to the water… we caught fish and swam. One tip I can offer is to bring water shoes and folding chairs.. The sand was super soft but there were some spots with clams that could be a little sharp. Great time overall.. house was well stocked with what we needed to enjoy our time there. Property owner was very responsive to questions or concerns! Would definitely book again."

- "Quiet, fairly secluded cottage, located right off a private airstrip. You don't hear any noise from the planes, but sometimes you can catch them flying in or out. It's fun to watch. The place is nice. Small yet capable kitchen. Recommended you bring your own cutlery if you prefer your own sharper knives. There's a washer and dryer there, which worked great for us. The bedrooms were all on the smaller side, but having three of them was perfect. All three also have decent closet space to tuck bags away for additional space. One bedroom on the first floor, two bedrooms up. With a bathroom in each floor. All three bedrooms have queen beds and soft sheets. The bathroom on the bottom floor is bigger (tub/shower) than the one on the top floor (smaller stand-up shower). There's Wi-Fi throughout. One TV with Roku in the living room. Cold AC. Deer visit every morning during coffee on the back porch. Back patio is great for hanging out, eating, visiting. Classic string lights keep it lit very nicely after the sun goes down. Bring a citronella candle or some bug spray though. The bugs can get bad. Close to Hamilton pools, Krause springs, and Barton springs. We visited two of the three while staying here. We ate at the lighthouse as well. Food was delicious. Nice place for a family to stay, with activities and good food near by. Definitely recommend. "

You have access to the downstairs unit of the Cozy Cottage, which is built like a duplex. You may use the front porch right outside, the fire-pits, the lakefront area for fishing, kayaking, SUPs, swimming. You may also use the gas grill and charcoal grill (bring charcoal!) You can relax in the hammock or Adirondack chairs on multiple decks too!

Other things to note
This cottage is a part of a Magical 5-acre Lakefront property that is very unique and unlike other Airbnb's. You may or may not see other guests in the other accommodations on our 5-acres. Every guest has plenty of space and usually keeps to themselves so privacy is never an issue. Keep in mind that this cottage is the downstairs unit of a cottage that is built like a duplex. You do not share your accommodation with anyone else, and the upstairs unit guests have their own entry door. If noise is ever an issue, please reach out to me immediately and I will remedy that.

Cozy 2 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage near Pace Bend Park. There is great swimming and fishing at Pace Bend Park. It is about a 10-15 minute drive from our cottage. Come prepared to relax under the large trees and watch the sunset behind the canyon. We are in a quaint quiet neighborhood. Blissful Hill wedding venue is nearby. Please note: ***Unfortunately, the drought has caused the water to dry up on our side of river. We are not waterfront at this time.***

The space
You’ll love the layout of this cottage! The bedrooms are separate from each other; located on either side of the kitchen. Each bedroom has 2 Queen beds and TVs. The sofa in the living room is a sofa-bed. The loveseat has an electric recliner feature and USB ports. The linens and towels are white, hotel-grade. Body wash, shampoo & conditioner dispensers are located in each shower area. The kitchen is fully equipped with every amenity you would expect to find in your kitchen at home. The Cuisinart coffee maker is both pot and K-cup. K-cups are provided, but if you’d like to make a pot of coffee, provide your own coffee. There is a provided metal screen filter, but if you want to provide your own, it’s a #4 Cone filter. All three TVs are smart TVs for streaming on the various platforms. You can also “cast” content from your phone to the TVs. The patio has a Weber gas grill and there’s an extra propane tank in the bedroom closet.

Guests also have access to most of the 7 acres of the Bee Creek Ranch. There are trails back into the woods past our olive groves. While the larger venue is shared, Willie's Place has a semi-private yard and deck where you can be by yourselves. You will receive a door code in messages/email on the day of arrival.

Only 30-35 minutes from downtown Austin, Tx, enjoy the city and the Hill Country from a central location. Multiple Breweries, Wineries, parks and Authentic Texas BBQ joints just minutes away, it's a great place to get into nature, chill, relax and be a short drive to Austin, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and the Wine Country of Fredericksburg. Easy shopping and conveniences lie just 10 minutes away in the towns of Lakeway and Beecave.

Important Notes:
We love Pets at Bee Creek Ranch, but we also need to know if you're bringing them. We have a Pet fee of $75 for up to 2 pets. You can pay this during the online booking check out, or contact us before check-in and we'll send a payment link. If you bring a pet and it's not a legal service animal, you must pay the pet fee. Cleaning-up after pets often takes housekeeping hours more effort because their fine fur gets everywhere and vacuums won't clean it. Every inch of the cottage must be painstakingly inspected. This is true even for hypoallergenic pets. Please, when booking, include the pet so you can pay the pet fee. If you forgot or didn't see where to pay, please contact the host so you can pay directly. The funds go to housekeeping in order to make certain the next guest has an amazing experience. The pet fee covers and is limited to 2 pets per stay. If you have more than 2 pets reach out to us to see if we accept more than 2 pets in your situation and the pet fee addendum.

Our units have amenities like hot tubs. We require a liability waiver to be signed before check-in. This is a requirement of our insurance. We appreciate your compliance. We kindly request you follow all amenity rules for your own safety and so that future guests will be able to enjoy them as well.

Bee Creek Ranch is in nature, and you'll see foxes, rabbits, tons of deer, and all other sorts of critters from time to time. While they are fun to watch, don't touch. Texas does have poisonous and dangerous critters. Keep your distance, and be observant when you walk around the property. Especially if you bring a pet. Pets must always be on a leash outside.

We have an amenities area with a pool, fire-pit, hot tub, petting zoo, bar area, foosball, TV and game system and more. This area is shared between two Airbnbs.

Bee Creek Ranch has an Art Gallery and Stage/Theater that from time to time might be used for events and activities on the property including concerts and weddings. If an event is scheduled during your stay we will do our best to make you aware of this, however, we do not guarantee there will be no events during your stay. Most events are open to our guests to enjoy. Do you want to rent out the stage or other facilities for an event? Reach out to us!

Security Note: For our guest's security, we do have security cameras located throughout the venue so we know who comes in and out of the venue; it's big! But no worries, no cameras in your unit.
