The Texas Star cottage is only five minutes from Temple, seven minutes from Belton and only eleven minutes to Salado. The Silos, in Waco, are forty minutes away. The cottage is centrally located, yet has a country feeling.
Fruit, muffins, and beverages will be in the refrigerator upon your arrival to be enjoyed at your leisure.. Sit on the covered porch, take in the views. Bikes are available to ride with prior notice. Taylors Valley is a beautiful area to take walks. At this time, we don't have horses but are seeking horses to pasture.

The cottage has a living/dining/ kitchen combination, beautifully decorated with a separate bedroom. It has a covered front porch with relaxing rockers that look over
the pasture. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with down comforter. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen with granite countertops, flat screened television, with Netflix, Hulu & Disney, DVD player with over 30 DVD's to watch, WIFI, and a day bed. Our ten acre property
is located across the street from a large ranch, and is a great area for hiking and biking. This property beats any hotel room in terms of privacy, space, covered parking,
and hospitality.

- "Cozy cottage very well kept, close to everything, quiet neighborhood." - "The house was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the towels were nice and soft. We would stay here again!" - "This was 5 minutes from the crossroads Recreation center where we had a seniors ball tournament. It was perfect for my little family and the bed was super comfy. 10/10 will stay again next year!!" - "We had a very nice stay at this property. We were in town for a friends memorial service in Bucholts, so this property was conveniently located for us. Everything at this property was completely renovated, so very nice and clean. The property owners were very responsive to an issue we had when we arrived later Friday evening. They offered to come by and help being 10 minutes or so away, we resolved the issue and called to let them know but they were almost there so they offered to stop by anyway on their Friday evening to be sure all was good for us. There are 2 separate "cottages" on this property, but with your own private outside area we never really knew anyone else was in the other cottage. We would recommend this property."

This cottage is great for traveling health care providers or for a weekend getaway. The second bedroom is set up with an office so you can work during your stay if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped. If you do book for 28+days the cleaning fee is 250.00. After you book we will send a request for the additional 150.

- "Comfortable bed and good shower. Didn’t really use the kitchen too much but was a solid set up to cook meals. The neighbor is on the outskirts of downtown. There’s hardly any street lighting and I don’t recommend going for a jog at night. The neighbor’s dogs were out every evening and constantly barked which made it difficult to fall asleep. The home is also really close to the tracks which was also kind of annoying throughout the night." - "The home was not clean and had ants. It smells like smoke so much so that even my luggage smelled like smoke. The neighborhood is not great. Definitely not worth the price. When I brought the ants and the fact that the house was not cleaned to the manager’s attention …they did spray for ants and clean up. The manager was helpful but I would not stay here again. The smoke smell was awful."

The cottage is located in a hidden valley bordered by undeveloped acreage with a wild creek on one side and a bamboo forrest on the other side.
