There was only one key provided. There was no trashcan outside to store trash out. We did notice that other neighbors had put trash out so we put some out. - "All in all is was a great place to stay " - "I missed the part about only having two twin beds so it wasn't the best for me and my partner. It would have been perfect with even a full, but the room where the bed is located is fairly small. Other than that (which is something I didn't catch in the add), the place was nice, quiet and the host was very cordial. She was very responsive to queries and communication thru the VRBO app. It rained quite a bit so we weren't able to use the deck or sit outside, but in nicer weather, I'm sure we would have taken advantage of those amenities. Additionally, the host left plenty of snack and drinks, the thermostat functioned fine, the towels looked brand new, and the coffee machine came in handy. "

Private entrance to cottage that is near the major Houston museums, Rice University, Herman Park, the Medical Center and Montrose. The cottage is very comfortable in a relaxed, casual environment with a large upstairs sleeping open loft and a private second bedroom which share a full bath. A full kitchen and half bath are downstairs adjacent to a large open living room and dining area fill with books on wall to ceiling book selves. The cottage shares the large lawn and garden area with a 1920's historic Houston home but has its own entrance. The homeowners kept strict privacy for all guests and usually have several dogs on the property but they will be kept away as well unless guests wish to meet them. Lone Star is a rustic tiny house sitting on the banks of a pond at Holiday Acres Christmas Tree Farm. It's great for a romantic getaway, a writing retreat, or for a unique place to stay when visiting or working in the Manvel area. Tiny house enthusiasts will enjoy trying out tiny living at Lone Star!

Holiday Acres is only 25 miles south of downtown Houston. While you're here, you can take walks through the Christmas trees, build a fire in the fire pit, throw a line in the pond to catch some fish, or just chill on the porch and enjoy the scenery.

The kitchen is set up with a toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, and fridge. There are pots, pans, dishes, and everything you'll need to prepare meals for 2. The bed slides out of sight under the kitchen, with the foot of the bed doubling as your sofa. No need to climb up into a loft.

Dogs are welcome at Holiday Acres! They'll need to be on a leash outdoors and crated if you need to leave them inside when you go out. Sorry, no cats or other pets.

Along with a DVR, antenna smart TV with local stations is provided. Wi-Fi is provided and you can login to your streaming streaming services on the TV.

Next door to Lone Star is Bluebonnet, a cottage-style tiny house which sleeps 4. Both houses may be rented if you are traveling with a larger group.

The hosts live on the property about 100 yards from the tiny houses. They will greet you and get you settled in, then will leave you to enjoy your vacation. They are happy to help if you have any needs during your stay.

For long term stays maid service is not provided. You will have to take sheets to the laundromat yourself. Additional supplies can be purchased at Walmart nearby.

Welcome to the island life of Clear Lake Shores! Located just minutes from the Kemah Boardwalk and Johnson Space Center, this island community is a unique treasure of it's own. The cottage known as "Coastal Breeze" is a few steps away from a water front park where you can fish or picnic while watching the boats go by. Another block away you can launch your own boat. The sunsets will amaze you and the sunrise will renew your spirit! There are restaurants within a few blocks or a short golf cart ride away and live music just about every weekend! Note: city ordinance limits parking to 3 vehicles

- "the house was very nicely decorated, and we very much appreciated the cookies and water in fridge. We bought more and left a few since we could not take on plane. We were very pleased with the accommodations, with a few suggestions. There were 6 of us and the two bedrooms with the King and queen beds were great, the problem with sleeping came with the fact that two of our grown sons (tall) were not as comfortable on the trundle beds as we couples were. Smaller children would work out great. For us older renters a hallway and bathroom night light might be helpful. After the first night we actually left one of the lamps on in the living room to help. Hope that was okay! Also since we came by plane we were limited on what we brought so no room to pack a pillow! Lol A suggestion might be to have a couple different types of pillows available. Not everyone sleeps comfortably on the same kind of pillow. The Furnace was quite the talker :o) It was very noticeable at nighttime when it would come on, Maybe this is normal, Just thought I would let you know. The area was just beautiful and we had a couple of days of really nice weather. Wish that we would have had time to do some sight seeing, but our days was filled with reuniting with family. Bluebonnet is a charming cottage-style tiny house on wheels situated on the banks of the pond at Holiday Acres Christmas Tree Farm. Drink your coffee on the porch, take a walk in the Christmas trees, and experience tiny house living. In the evening, relax by the fire pit and roast some marshmallows.

Cozy, bright, and relaxing are words that will come to mind when you step in the door. Curl up on the full-size futon downstairs or climb up onto the queen-size mattress in the sleeping loft and get comfortable. Cook up a meal using the toaster oven, hot plate, and microwave, then enjoy it out on the porch or at the drop leaf dining table inside.

You are welcome to walk through the Christmas tree field and anywhere on the property. Just don't open any gates or climb any fences.

If you wish to use Holiday Acres as a photo session venue, you will need to reserve that separately.

You'll see all kinds of critters during your visit. Most are friendly, but there are some whose paths you may not want to cross if you venture out for a walk. Be watchful for snakes, snapping turtles, skunks, coyotes, wasps and all kinds of bugs. When walking around outside, watch for stumps, holes in the ground, ant beds, and poison ivy. We recommend wearing long pants and closed toe shoes if you go exploring.

Tiny houses have tiny water heaters. Be prepared for speedy showers!

Wi-fi is provided

No swimming in the pond, but fishing is allowed and encouraged! Keep all the catfish you catch. Other fish are catch & release.

You are welcome to bring your dog with you to Holiday Acres, but he or she must be on a leash outside. Poop in the yard must be picked up. Dogs must be crated if they are left in the house when you go out.

Please don't allow children up in the loft. There is no railing, and a child would be at risk of falling.

Our house has gated front and back areas for SUPERVISED dogs to play in (please clean up after him/her) along with an idyllic screened in porch to watch your woof from. 3. It is important the number of guests in your reservation matches the number of guests that attend. The maids use this to provide ample amenities, supplies & set up the bedrooms. And they are also re-numerated accordingly.

4. An ETA is always appreciated so we can make sure the unit is cooled for you (Houston is sweaty!)

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The space is private and separate from the main home. Near I-10, Highway 6 and Westpark Toll. Near stores and two parks and an extensive walking trail along with a Best Buy and a Walmart. There are several movie theaters within 12 minutes. There are at least a hundred national and international restaurants within a 10 minute drive or less.

The space is clean and has two bedrooms, yet 3 spaces for sleeping. There is a living room and a kitchenette. A full-size fridge, a double burner, coffee maker, ice maker, air fryer/toaster oven and more.

It has air and multiple heating sources. There is a huge picture window. There are doors on 3 of the 4 spaces for privacy.

The property has a 6 foot brick wall that it's enclosed by. The area is pretty quiet.

Within 16 minutes of 3 major malls, within 4 minutes of 3 grocery stores and a Walmart.

Near multiple highway access points

You have a full-size fridge and a separate ice making machine. We have a full-size shower. All appliances are new as of January 2024, except the fridge. The hosts are welcoming and warm. We enjoy wonderfully diverse guests from all over the globe. There is a back stretcher that you have access to and can use. We have some light weights to share upon request. We have lots of board games to share upon request. If you'd like a table and office chair, those are also available upon request. If you need to borrow (short-term) camera stands besides the selfie stick in your space, they are available. We also have a green screen and sky backdrop available upon request 😀. Feel free to use any seasonings or food in the fridge or freezer. The apartment has blackout curtains that can help to keep out the serious Texas summer heat.

During the summer months, the community pool is usually available.

We love guests. While we interact when we see you, we respect your privacy. The best way to reach me is through the app. While I am often home because I work from home, I am usually unavailable for a door knocking or a rung doorbell. I am usually in meetings most days. Continuing upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms designed with relaxation in mind, sit waiting for you to make yourself at home. One room features a king and queen bed, while the other contains a king and twin bed. Both bedrooms have shared access to a full bathroom located at the top of the stairs between both bedrooms.

When you are in need of fresh air, enter the backyard through a sliding glass door in the living room. The fully fenced space provides ample room for outdoor gatherings, complete with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and comfortable seating. Enjoy the fresh air and all Sunset Bungalow has to offer as you sit in this private oasis.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 8+ would need to be approved. We love hosting church groups, family reunions, etc but do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Cardinal cottage is cozy and settled on a big corner lot. With two bedrooms and a spacious loft area, it can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Hang out outside on our large patio deck or sip a morning coffee on our cozy front porch. We hope you love our cottage as much as we do!
