- "Perfect quick stay!" - "We stayed to pick our child up from camp so we didn’t explore any amenities. The resort is located quite a way from the main road and you have very little, if any, cell coverage. It added an extra 5-7 minutes to my commute. The unit was clean and appointed. Bring your own soap, shampoo, etc because there is only a tiny bottle provided. Note in the listing that wifi isn’t included- I failed to notice but also didn’t want to spend the extra money on it. I would stay here again for the same purpose but not for a romantic weekend away. Our neighbors had a lot of children and it was very loud. If you travel with kids though- it is great because you don’t have to worry about being noisy. The host was very kind and pleasant to talk to- she was prompt in communicating and flexible. I would definitely rent from her again."

- "Beautiful property and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again." - "We loved staying here, the resort was fantastic and close to all kinds of things. We drove over to Enchanted Rock and Fredricksburg and the scenic drives and views were awesome. My kids loved the pool and slide, my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub. There were crafts for the kids and the resort staff provided stuff for smores which was a nice treat. We would definitely consider staying here again if we ever go back to that area."

- "This place blew our minds! The property was STUNNING! Very Clean! Very well kept! The pool was beautiful and not overcrowded! All employees were extremely nice. Best vacay yet!" - "Property was beautiful! Everyone was super nice. Wished we had more time. It was exactly what we where looking for. The only downsides were that the hot tub was still broken from the Snowmageddon. We specifically wanted a hot tub, and were bummed that it wasn't available. The owner did tell us that it was broken, but she thought it would be fixed by the time of our stay. We didn't realize that we had booked a handicapped accessible room. Which wasn't a bad thing, just means that when you shower, it is next to impossible to not make a big mess. Also, the upstairs neighbors were kind of loud. My sister ended up getting woken up more than once, so the floor/ceiling isn't soundproofed very well. The kitchen didn't have hot water, BUT we didn't realize that until our last day when we needed to wash our wine glasses (remember, girl's weekend lol). So it wasn't an issue for us, and we did tell the front. I'm sure if we had noticed before, it would have been fixed immediatly. The pool area is beautiful! We didn't get to use it sadly, because we didn't catch that the closing time was 8pm, instead of 10pm. I guess we are spoiled by our city livings lol The drive up is gorgeous! One of our favorite places to hang out was the patio. It was perfect for just relaxing, drinking our wine and catching up talking about life. Both of us are looking forward to bringing our families here in the future and would highly recommend this place!"

- "The restrictions were held and we felt safe but I missed having all of the amenities because of Covid. Will come again after the pandemic!" - "Family of 4 stayed. Lots of room to spread out and beds for everyone. Beautiful location in the hill country just outside of town." - "Very nice place. Jan was very nice as well. I did feel very mislead by the fact that everything was closed and felt the accuracy of the listing was very misleading. 2 pools and a hot tub are on the property, but hot tin was closed and back up pool was broken. We were only allowed to use the pool for two hours the entire trip. The give 1st bid to owners not vrbo renters. We specifically went for the pools alone so it ruined me and my kids trip. This was more of a property issue not a vrbo issue. No pets are allowed on site which is fine, however there were 2 dogs above my room that woke me up for the day every morning at 3am. They would bark until about 7 am until the owners took them out. There are not bike or hiking trails on site you must drive 30 minutes to go to the state park to use them. The people at the front desk did lie to me a number of times, so I would never stay at this place again. I was told we'd have a pool slot, but things changed and I didn't. When asking if I could leave and get a refund for unused time the front desk said no. Management told me if my kids and I wanted to swim that bad that we could use the municipal pool. At that time I thought it'd be best to stop talking to the front desk."

- "Place was very clean and all appliances worked well. We enjoyed our stay." - "The home is stunning as well as the landscape. The resort needs to keep on top of maintenance for the heated pool, it was not working our entire stay. We planned our vacation for our grandkids based on the heated pool, the weather was cooler but with a heated pool, no problem. I was told upon arrival it would be heated the following day, each day passed and the pool remained unheated. Also, the hot water smelled like rotten eggs/sewage, but maintenance came by and said it’s due to stagnation in the lines from the well. I would suggest they treat/open the lines prior to each rental . My husband and I was going to attend a one hour class regarding the resort but decided otherwise based on the maintenance issues. I was told upon check out, there was not much they could do about the pool, a motor was out and it’s hard to get contractors to come out to fix it in the hill country and the part needs to be ordered. Wyndham needs to understand, when you pay for certain luxuries they should be working, a customer should not have to encounter these inconveniences which are preventable with regular maintenance."
