The Cedars Ranch is a new contemporary eco event space and wellness destination designed for hosting weddings, receptions, corporate events and wellness retreats. Guests at The Cedars Ranch can immerse themselves in our eco-conscious environment, and get connected with the outdoors. Our 20 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country land includes walking trails amid our live oaks and cedar trees, an enclosed herb and flower garden and orchards, game spaces, a fire pit, outdoor hanging seats and many fun, restful and rejuvenating spaces for meditation, contemplation, exploration, creativity and personal retreat time.

From your base at The Cedars Ranch you can explore the best the Texas Hill Country has to offer, including the many wineries, breweries and distilleries in the region (see suggested list below).

The Texan Hill Country is the perfect get-away destination, whether youre a nearby city-dweller in Austin or San Antonio, or one of the growing number of national and international visitors to Texas. Located on 20 acres of prime recreation land less than 30 minutes from I-35, The Cedars Ranch is a holistic wellness destination in an affordable setting, that is a quick escape from the city, and is easily accessible via two major airports.

The Space:
Nestled on 20 Acres Near Wimberley, TX. Only 35 miles from Austin, TX!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.

Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!


Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Other Things to Note:
Do plan some time to hang out under the big Live Oaks in the hanging swing chairs. Do bring insect repellant. Do not let your pets just roam free, there is wildlife. Do check for Hays County Burn Ban. Don't drive on long grassy fields. Do watch for snakes and scorpions.

If you want to use a flushing toilet or need to cool down or warm up there is a lounge at the back of the dance hall you can use. It is the last door, closest to the property entrance at the back of the hall.

Pet Friendly

Gravel, level site. Located on 5 acres with grassy fields and oak groves. There are bird feeders and bird baths which provide an opportunity to watch our resident and migrating bird populations. On occasion resident screech owls can be heard at night and seen at dusk and dawn. Oak trees with small tables and chairs provide quiet shady places to relax. The fields provide open spaces from which to observe the dark sky. We are a five minute drive to Jacob's Well Nature Preserve and 15 minute drive to Blue Hole Recreation Park and downtown Wimberley. Our two RV sites offer a place to relax and enjoy our Hill Country property and a base from which to explore the Wimberley area and the Texas Hill Country. If you are traveling and looking for a place to relax, come enjoy our private campground.

When you arrive at the front gate, follow the cement driveway (past the dirt roads) and then turn left when the cement road forks.

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent.

To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. 1.5 hour Creek Tour - $60
Our guide will drive you to a remote never-dry creek where you can enjoy a guided hike along the water. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the creek. 15 minute drive each way from campsite.

Bedding and Pillows - $10
Sheets, pillows and a blanket will be provided.

Other Things to Note:
Only use designated trails for hiking. Feel free to bring your bike, hiking boots, binoculars, yard games (e.g. corn hole). Do not bring any dirt bike or other motorized off road vehicle.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.

If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

The space
Once you arrive, you’ll feel like you’ve come to a special place. This property is a small horse ranch that currently has two horses, one dog, and one macaw parrot. We have named our Airstream "The Hama" (a 27' Tommy Bahama edition), which is located next to the horse barn and faces the horses. The Airstream is completely covered, creating an outdoor oasis that offers full protection. Cute outdoor lights provide the perfect ambiance if you choose to illuminate the area at night, but they won't distract from the star-filled skies, which you won't want to miss.

In addition to the Airstream, there is a swimming pool, a fire pit, a good-sized grill, and another covered area where you can find respite from the sun.

Simply put, stretch your arms and take a deep breath—you’re in the country now.

The ranch is nestled among several small ranches in the Texas Hill Country, just outside Wimberley, TX. It offers easy access to nearby towns such as Wimberley, Fredericksburg, Johnson City, Blanco, Canyon Lake, and New Braunfels.

Guest access
Guests have access to the property and the pool, which must be reserved in advance. Please note that no additional guests are allowed. The main house, horse barn office, and all enclosed areas are off-limits. We kindly ask that you do not feed the horses.
