You can also enjoy swimming holes nearby and the Wedding Capital of Texas (Dripping Springs) is just 17 miles away.

Your Wimberley retreat begins at this cozy studio/tiny home. Nestled on a country property just 10 minutes from the square and 5 minutes from Jacobs Well. This lovely retreat offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. With a comfortable room featuring a murphy bed that gives you the option to use the desk/table. The space features centuries old beams, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.
This space backs up to another unit and is next-door to our home. Amenities include a washer and dryer, hair dryer, AC, Wi-Fi, and heating. There are kayaks for you to use on the creek when we are not under drought conditions. There are swings and chairs along the creek for you to relax. There is also an outdoor ping pong table

- "We really enjoyed our stay. The property is located really close to everything." - "Very clean and close to town. Great location on Cypress Creek. The unit was very comfortable for just myself and had everything I needed and more! (Including umbrellas, shampoo, conditioner, chips, and little water bottles in the fridge) It is also good to know there is a more permanent tenant who lives behind the studio as others have stated. I never heard them at night and never crossed paths with them but I believe their kitchen must back up to the studio. I could hear every single beep on the microwave, every drawer opening and closing, and every single sneeze that they made because the walls are so thin. Like I said not a problem since they were so quiet at night, but I could not take a nap during the daytime and it did keep me up. Just bring a little noise maker or ear plugs. It's too good of a little studio and the owners are too kind to knock it down for that reason."

- "We found the cabins when we were planning to meet my brothers family so the cousins could hangout together. He had some stuff come up but we went ahead and went down for a short getaway. Found the place easily enough and the pool was great to relax in at the end of the day. We’ll be going back in the future." - "We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was convenient for watching the parade and easily getting to our friend's house. Only thing I wish there would have been is a toaster or small stove. We brought our own food to eat and couldn't eat half of it, so ended up having to go out to eat which we didn't want to do. We enjoyed the short 10 minute walk to the square which had plenty of restaurants and shopping. - "Stayed with my teen/adult daughters and really appreciated the safety: gated property, codes entry. Close to the square." - "The place was very clean, the cornhole game and Boche ball need to be replaced. The unit we stayed in had no windows, only one way of egress. Great if you want to catch up on sleep, no daylight to wake you. I would recommend adding a hand rail for entry and exit of the pool. Bring your own trash bags and toilet paper. They give you starters but won't last more than a couple days."

Pool and cornhole!" - "Have stayed here a couple times now in the same unit and every time it’s very clean and such a laid-back great place." - "Nice property, super quite during the weekdays as the town is more active on the weekends. Rooms were simple but had what we needed, pool was nice, fairly close to the central area of town. When we had a question we got a quick response. " - "We have VRBO property so I nit picked this one. All the towels had permanent rust stains on them, and some hand towels had hair on them as well. The toilet seat it to big for the toilet and hangs over the end. Still functional, but looks like owners are not concerned with the proper fit. Felt secure when in the room, but did not like to leave items there. The trim around the door by the lock has been loosened where it apears someone may have worked the lock with an object at one point to get it open. I could see the wall in the outer hall through the crack. Neighbors smoked pot every night and we could smell it. You dont need to post this review, I just want the owners to be aware."

House Rules:

1. Please be considerate about noise from 10pm to 7am. We are a neighborhood and noise is strictly enforced.

2. There is a One (1) car policy and no Harley Motorcycles/loud pipes due to noise. If you need a 2nd vehicle, please ask. We are flexible if we know in advance.

3. There is no smoking/Vape at all inside the Nest. Smoking is allowed outside ONLY. $200 fine if guests are found to be smoking indoors. There is a specific "butt" ashtray for use, no "butts" are to be on the grounds at all. We have a lot of deer and other animals here who don't need the habit!

4. The property is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

5. Housekeeping: While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Please do not remove towels or linens from the home. Beach towels are in the armoire for outside. Weekly stays: linen change day 4, Monthly stays: linen change weekly with light housekeeping.

6. Check out is firm at 11 am unless prior arrangements are made. If check out is past 11 am without prior arrangements there is a $20 fee (in hourly increments) from your deposit as we have to have two people turn the Nest around for our next guest. 7. If you are under the legal drinking age, alcohol is not permitted. This is the law and you will be asked to leave. No one under the age of 21 without an adult and must 12 or older.

8. Fire Pit - This is a gas pit ~ Do not use lighter fluid under any circumstances. Never leave a fire unattended. Turn the pit off before leaving the backyard. Notify Us if there are Any issues! Do not move the fire pit, it is where it is for safety reasons and for your maximum enjoyment. Note: Fire Pit is Seasonal Winter only and removed when Spring winds pick up.

CHECK IN Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. You will receive a code for keyless check 2 days before your arrival. We are only able to offer an early check in if there is not a booking before yours as it takes time for our cleaners to prepare and restock the home for each stay. For this reason, we are also not able to offer a late check out when we have guests checking in the same day.
GUEST RENTAL AGREEMENT: We kindly ask all guests to sign a separate rental agreement after booking. This helps us protect both you and our property, making sure everything is in order for your stay. We’ve kept the agreement simple and straightforward, and we’re happy to answer any questions you might have about it.
CLEANLINESS: We put our heart and soul into ensuring the space is sparkling clean and ready for your stay! We invite you to make yourself at home and show our space the same love and care you would your own. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to keep it pristine for every guest, and we're excited for you to enjoy it! Just a friendly heads-up, any cleaning beyond the ordinary might incur an extra charge.
LAUNDRY: Please note that the Treehouse does not have an in-unit washer or dryer. However, there’s a convenient laundromat just a 5-minute drive away if you need to freshen up during your stay.
MINIMUM AGE TO BOOK: You must be at least 21 years of age to book at the Wimberley Treehouse. A photo of your government ID is required after booking and we will require you to sign a rental agreement.
CRITTERS: Our house is in Texas Hill Country, and like many homeowners around here, we have regular pest control to keep critters and bugs at bay. However, every now and then, a few might sneak in. It's pretty rare, but we just wanted to give you a heads-up that it's part of country living!
DAMAGE PROTECTION: Your booking includes coverage for accidental damage during your stay, because we understand that sometimes things happen. We kindly ask that you let us know if anything is damaged, so we can take care of repairs or replacements as needed.
INSURANCE: Given the unpredictable nature of our world, we strongly suggest considering travel insurance to safeguard against any unexpected events. A secluded studio apartment on 3.5 acres with beautiful hill country views among majestic oaks, a beautiful flower garden, outdoor dining, and wildlife abound while only 2 miles from the great Wimberley Square or Market Days. A peaceful get away close to vineyards, the famous Salt Lick, and only 40 minutes to downtown Austin. It's the best of all worlds! You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere in the Texas Hill Country, but only a very short drive close to everything Wimberley.

The space
Upstairs studio apartment fully equipped and furnished in a secluded setting. This is a very peaceful and quiet area while convenient to Austin, Dripping Springs, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and of course Wimberley. Great setting for a small intimate wedding on site. We have a meditation garden and outside dining area. Fox and deer are seen regularly. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets off the deck.

We have a beautiful outdoor dining and garden area that may be used by request for meditation, relaxing or just to sit and enjoy the flowers and birds.

There is no smoking of any kind inside for any reason.

This is the hill country with trees, wildlife, and all of that quiet beauty. It's not a Hyatt or a Hilton; in most opinions, it's better. We have Cypress Creek, Blue Hole, Jacob's Well, and if you want to venture farther, there's Hamilton Pool or Pedernales Falls State Park. But if you're looking for hotel amenities, you'll need to stay in a nearby city.

Other things to note
We appreciate it if when you leave the apartment, you could leave the dirty towels in the shower, bed unmade, and any dishes you used rinsed or cleaned in the sink. We charge a minimum cleaning fee to cover sanitizing all dishes and bedding between each guest, as well as to pay professional cleaning staff. Please turn the thermostat to 76 and leave the key on the table.

We have a beautiful outdoor dining and garden area that may be used for meditation, relaxing or just to sit and enjoy the flowers and birds, but we do ask that you keep the gate closed to prevent deer and armadillos out. They can destroy it overnight. There is no smoking anywhere inside the premises. Violators will be charged a $500 cleaning fee.

We have Cypress Creek, Blue Hole, Jacob's Well, and if you want to venture farther there's Hamilton Pool or Pedernales Falls State Park. But if you're looking for hotel amenities, you'll need to stay in a nearby city.

There are absolutely NO PETS allowed on the premises at any time. We have a strict no pet policy for multiple reasons. Violation of the NO Pet policy will result in Additional charges in the amount of $500 for cleaning, painting and repairs. If you are bringing a Service Animal, under the ADA and Texas law, owners of public accommodations must allow service dogs. But they aren't required to admit emotional support animals or pets. Additionally, you can be required to pay if your assistance animal causes damage to the property or injures another person. Please note that we have no place nor facilities for such animals as our property is not suited for any type of pets with the wildlife that roam freely here. You would be required to keep your service animal with you and leashed or harnessed at all times. Then again, I guess if it's a licensed service animal, you would need it with you with you at all times anyway. Service animals cannot be left unattended in the apartment or anywhere on the property.

Self Check in-Person to Person Not required! The Loft is separate from the main house and even has its own yard, decks and parking area. Great if you want to be near Family or students at Texas State University.

There is a very comfortable King memory foam bed that has venation shades to give someone taking a nap more privacy. Waffle bathrobes, Egyptian cotton towels and snuggly soft throw blankets. Remote control for AC, ceiling fan, lights and of course the 65 inch TV! Black out shades on all windows.

French doors open to your own 2nd story deck with gorgeous views. This detached Loft is on a second story with your own stairs and entrance and detached via a very large middle deck from the main home. Great for bird watching! Laminated identifier, binoculars and treats in our feeders to attract birds and feed area for deer!

There's free 5g wireless Internet, Charging station for 4 devices including cords, motorized leather theater chairs and YouTube TV, ROKU, extensive VUDU/DVD/Blue Ray movie collection. We also have a Bluetooth speaker for your use and have added a white noise and soothing sounds machine at your bedside! Laminated TV guide and remote instructions are located at the TV.

All soap products: Meyers Lemon Verbena/Rosemary/Pine, Hair care products: Organix Kukui Oil Shampoo & Conditioner and Sulfate Free. Various bug sprays and a flashlight and first aid kit.

~Note: We really go out of our way to add those special touches to make your trip complete, such as assorted teas and organic coffees and an alkaline water dispenser. We also strive to make this property as green as possible by using environmentally friendly dish soap and laundry detergent, providing recycled paper products and full recycling, using low-wattage light bulbs, and more.
