This guest house is very clean, spacious and is very secluded with great scenery and a large hot tub exclusive to the guesthouse and large pool which only shared with the property owner. There are many great wineries and restaurants nearby.
Guest have always rated the property 5 stars.

Note: For your security and mine there are Ring cameras mounted on the outside of the main house. These cameras are activated by motion. When activated a light comes on at night so the camera can record the activity.

The space:
The property is a large home with a gorgeous view right off the front yard and back deck. Each bedroom offers a king sized bed for a comfortable stay for every guest.

The large main level living room with fireplace creates a cozy and elegant environment during your stay. The dining room features a custom made table that is perfect for entertaining and making memories around. The large main level kitchen is equipped with all the stuff one needs to create delicious meals during your stay.

The lower level hosts a spacious living room along with a dining area and a kitchenette. This is allows guests staying in the lower level bedrooms to enjoy their own coffee and cereal bar and any late night snacks. The deck on this level leads out to the 6 person hot tub and some amazing views!

Feeling up for a stroll on the Katy trail? Great! We are located just 1 minute (by bike) from the Augusta Trail Head- And did we mention you and your guests are welcome to the bikes we have provided!

House Rules:
NO events or parties. If you are looking to throw a party with a large group of friends or family this is not the place for you.
No smoking(of any substances), in or around the house. This includes the back decks.
Our cleaning fee covers standard turnovers- any additional messes, stains or large amounts of excess trash will be deducted from the security deposit.

- "Our second time staying her and the house is amazing!! Great place to relax and drink wine with friends!!" - "We came from three different states, the main goal being getting four 80+ siblings together. We had nine people total. This was just perfect for us! Three bedrooms are on the main floor and two bedrooms and foldout downstairs. We figured out who could mange stairs and who needed to not step over a tub to shower and it was easy and perfect. We had brought food to heat up for the first night and had a lovely meal all at the same table. We could have used some bowls with lids for food storage, but other than that, we pretty much had everything we needed. The screened-in porch is huge and the view is beautiful and even though it was hot and humid, we turned on the fan and hung out out there quite a bit. We had a great selection of beer at the nearby brewery, which is a short walk away. The ones who aren't good on uneven surface took a car, but it worked well. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Lots of laughter, fun, and then we all had a very comfortable bed to sleep in. Really a great place! Next time I would go on a Thursday check-in because the only real restaurant in town is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!! Great place!"

- "Attended a wedding 👍" - "The home was very nice and worked for four couples. It is a great get away from everyone place. I was concerned about the arrangement of furniture in the downstairs bedrooms. The egress/escape window in both rooms had a large bed with headboard in front of them. One bedroom the problem was more significant as it was completely covering window. I know my husband and I would have had a difficult time moving the bed to get out. I think the furniture should be rearanged for safety purposes. The light in the staircase and lights down stairs did flicker several times which made we wonder a bit about the wiring. Overall it met our needs. Thank you!"

I should start by saying that we showed up far after the typical Check-in period, so it was late into the night when we arrived. Traveling with QuasiAdult children sometimes that way. The space is positively charming, everything was pristine, and our girls tumbled from room to room ooohing and ahhhing at all the little touches; the robes, the make-up cloths, the chocolates.The beautiful little seating area in the Master bedroom! Ohhh how i covet it. Honestly, it was more like a luxury stay than a quick weekend to get away for a wedding. After we stowed our attire in the ample & well placed closets, & got little one settled on the plush fold-out that she cocooned into like a little bear, our older daughters & I went out to sit in the chairs, by the fire ring & fairy house. There was an actual owl in the tree above the house. See what I mean? Honestly, magical. Great appliances, very comfortable beds, the screened-in porch was perfection. Tiled bathroom was a hit, & the extra watercloset in the girls room came in clutch when preparing for the big event, which brought us there. Quiet, very comfortable, & perfectly situated, this area felt like a place that time forgot. No hustle and bustle, just peaceful and perfect. I would have no hesitation whatsoever about recommending The Owl's Nest; whether a family, a group of friends, a couple, or solo traveler. We plan to return, if life ever slows down! "
