Local attractions include the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Johnson Shut Inns, Clearwater Lake, Elephant Rock State Park, and Sam A. Baker state park. Just two and half hours from St. Louis.

This rustic hundred-year-old house sits on 44 acres, which border thousands of acres of USA Forest Service land. Wildlife is abundant including deer, turkey and wild hogs! Have fun boating, fishing, waterskiing, or pontooning on Clearwater Lake, only a twenty-minute drive! Enjoy boating, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing on Black River only two miles away. We are also located only two miles from Blue Hole aka The Gulf and just a few miles from Markham Springs.

We have a 2 bedroom 1 bath home with all the amenities of home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer / dryer, dishwasher, king size bed in each room, along with satellite tv, wifi and a private area to enjoy the outdoors and bbq.

Cell phone service at the house to stay in touch. Great area to ride your UTV because there are miles of gravel roads and access points to Black River.

Beautiful backyard view and front porch, nice kitchen and several cozy spaces to relax in the house as well. We did the 6 mile float at Jeff's Canoe Rental nearby and would definitely recommend you do that during your stay. Johnson Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks and Taum Sauk Mountain State Park are also not too far away so plenty to do if you like exploring. Overall had a great experience and feeling lucky to have found this cabin near the Black River!"

The location is amazing. You're close to the lake for a day of boating, Otherwise you can enjoy many of the other amazing things to do in the Ozark Mountains such as swimming at the lake, floating, hiking, or even finding a secluded beach along black river to pop up the sun-shade and lawn chairs and watch the kids (or pets) splash around in the water while you relax.

The house has a master bedroom (queen size bed & pack and play) and a second bedroom with a double full size bunk bed. The living room has new furniture and a mounted smart TV. The amazing wrap around screened in porch will keep the bugs away and offer a peaceful relaxing setting. Feel free to use the BBQ Grill, or Fire Pit!

Everyday within a 30 to 60 minute driving radias we were in a National or State Park. (Ie. Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk & Baker State Parks, Lake Wapappello, etc.) In addition, the house is well maintained and clean. Our Golden Retriever had plenty of room inside the house and it was easy to walk out the front door for “potty”breaks. Overall, a very good experience. Communication with Andy was great and quick. We had know idea that Clearwater Lake was such a big vacation spot in Missouri. The state of Missouri has wonderful landscape, friendly people and was a pleasure to experience. The “Sunshine House was perfect for our vacation needs.!"

- "This house is beyond adorable. Was very cleaned and stocked with anything you could want. Having use of the garage was an excellent bonus. Host was very responsive and extremely friendly and accommodating. Will be back!!!" - "This home served as our "home base" over the weekend for us, our kids and grandkids. We had a good time with plenty of room for everyone. The hostess was kind and even gave me a few tips on local places to try out. My granddaughter loved the neighboring horses and one of my favorite photos from this weekend was her having a serious conversation with her Poppy about the horses. :) We fished the Current, hung out at K bridge to swim a bit and enjoyed nearby hiking. Rocky Falls was a blast and the kids had a great time. Would recommend. :)"

Clean comfortable cabin 1 mile from the clearwater lake spillway. About 2 from Clearwater Lake.
Full kitchenette, with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, cable TV, AC, wifi, bed/bath linens, bbq grill/ firepit. Has a hair dryer, bathroom has railing in shower, and by commode. Cabin will have all cooking, eating utensils, coffee, powered creamer, sugar, and paper towels, dish soap. Bathroom has sample shampoo, conditioner and hand cream with a small soap.
You may bring your own, especially if you are allergic to certain items.
All mattress and box springs are encased in zippered covers to protect you against bed bugs, dust mites as well as the pillows.
I use all white sheets and towels so you know that they are clean.
If you decide to bbq you will need to bring your own charcoal, as well as using the firepit, you will need to bring wood.
The are area restaurants to eat at, or their is a grocery store in town to buy most items you'd need.
Remember we are rural or country so you may see ants, spiders, and most definitely mosquitoes and other flying insects, cobwebs or spiderwebs on occasion, I can't control that, even having the cabin sprayed on a regular basis, so please bear that in mind, as I can not control the grass clippings or dirt that may blow on porches or outdoor furniture,
I don't want you to be disappointed upon arrival and see such items but like I said we are rural, and well it goes with it.

That cabin is just as great. It has a separate bedroom. 2 queen size beds also! Can't say enough great things about Redwood Acres! Best keep secret for now! Cabin 1 has a queen sized bed, a separate bedroom with a double bed, has full bathroom with shower, has hand railings in shower and by commode, has a hair dryer, along with sample size shampoo, conditioner and hand cream, full kitchenette with stove, refrigerator, microwave toaster, can opener, coffee pot, cable tv,wifi, AC, all kitchen utensils pots and pans, silverware, glassware, bbq grill,firepit, outside furniture,table, chairs and loveseat.

Please remember that we are rural or country and on occasion you may see ants, spiders, and most definitely mosquitoes and other flying insects, that may find a way into cabin, along with cobwebs and spiderwebs, grass clippings, dust and pollen on porch, patio, and outside furniture.

- "We had a great weekend with the family in the heat. It was amazing to come back to the clean cabin. Shower and rest in the clean short sheets. The kitchen was also helpful. No cooking in the heat." - "Property details are incorrect for this listing. It is not a cabin. It is a carport converted into living quarters. My husband looked at the structure of the building to find this out. Covered area: hit head on the low roof and I could see in the gutter clearly at 5'5". Front room/kitchen area has a big bed in it. You can touch kitchen table while in bed. Air conditioner is a wall mount and there is no "real vent" throughout building. The vents are fake. Had to leave door to other room and bathroom open to get air in there even with a huge fan in the room. There are no side tables next to bed so very difficult in the fact couldn't put phone or eye-glasses near bed while asleep. The plumbing in bathroom under sink could be felt under floor when sink was turned on. Only plus to this storage building is size of bathroom, walk-in shower, and water pressure on shower. Shower head is placed on wrong side of the shower so your feet are crammed into the bench part of the shower. Kitchen dishes were dirty when we began to cook with them. Pans were rusty. Outside seating was broke and rigged to work for small people but not great for big people. Padding on metal bench was paper thin. Owner left a broken black fan for us to use so it fell apart when we moved it. Owner was aware before we rented it. The second night we were there, the owner rented the "cabin" next to ours so she could spy on us. Location was very inconvenient. No phone signal unless you use her wifi."

Lodge For All Seasons is a small resort consisting of four cabins and four full RV hookups, Lodge/clubhouse for gatherings, and pavilion for grilling.. This resort is nestled between Clearwater Lake and the Black River in the Ozark Mountains. Rent cabins or full RV/camper hookups independently or the whole resort privately. Makes a great place for family reunions, retreats, birthday parties, workplace training. Only 1/2 mile to Clearwater lake, a swimming beach, hiking trail, two playgrounds, and a marina. Less than eight miles to the spring fed Black River.

The Lodge/Clubhouse boasts a full residential kitchen, living area, two big screen televisions, pool table, shuffleboard table, dart board, Pac Man, Golden Tee, Wifi, two indoor bathrooms, two outdoor bathrooms with showers, community firepit, patio with seating, grill area, and pavilion. Note: During November through March access to lodge may not be available.

This property is simply lovely! A relaxing two bedroom screened in porch cabin located minutes from Clearwater Lake. As soon as you walk in you will feel cozy and right at home! The beds are comfortable and the house has a smart tv in the living room for you to enjoy.
