This property is a large two bedroom cabin with a spacious, open floor plan and a huge window wall. The king suite includes a large bathroom with full size shower, as well as a restful reading loft. The queen guest quarters also has an adjoining full bath. Both beds have high count cotton sheets, and fluffy towels for bathing. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, fully equipped, and refrigerator provides filtered water and ice. We offer a flat screen TV over elegant gas fireplace, supplied by DISH/HOPPER. Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin is a roomy 2200 sq ft chalet on Deer Water Lake in the Cliffview Resort area of Red River Gorge, Kentucky. Conveniently located, just minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, RRG Zipline, Gorge Underground, and some of the best hiking trails and rock-climbing routes in the region.

This stunning 3-story A-frame has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 14. Included are 2 primary suites each with a king-size bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms that together contain 3 queen-size beds and 2 full-size beds (one lofted) plus a 3rd full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two half-baths are also included on the first floor and basement making this well-maintained cabin the perfect accommodation for hosting wedding parties, family reunions, or week-end getaways with friends. If your group values comfort and convenience, you cannot do better than KSW Cabin!

Indoor amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, blender and all cooking utensils. To add to your convenience, this modern cabin also has powerful high-speed internet, a USB charging station, two ROKU televisions with live streaming channels (YouTubeTV), a stone gas fireplace, a game room with an air hockey table, and a laundry room with a washer & dryer.

Outdoor amenities include a large deck perfect for outdoor dining, a metal-roofed wrap-around porch, gas grill, 6-person hot tub, and a large fire pit. Cornhole boards/bags are also available for your use.

The 5-acre Deer Water Lake sits 50 yards down the hill from the cabin and is walkable by private trail (somewhat steep) or easily drivable. There guests can swim, fish, float or just relax at water’s edge from our spacious private dock. 2 kayaks and paddles are provided, or bring your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard for non-motorized boating. Life vests are not provided so please bring your own.

Unlike many RRG cabins, KSW Cabin is easily accessed via flat paved roads and has a spacious parking area (enough for 9 vehicles). An AWD vehicle is not necessary to access KSW cabin, making it the perfect choice for any season.

SMOKING is not permitted inside Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin but is allowed outdoors on porches and decks.

NO PETS of any type are allowed inside Kentucky Straight Wilderness cabin. Violation of the no pets policy is grounds for immediate eviction.

NOTE: Bed linens, bathmats, hand towels, and kitchen towels are provided. One starter set of bath towels and washcloths is provided for each guest. We recommend that Guests bring their own extra washcloths, bath towels, and beach towels since we have no way of providing extra towels during your stay.

Note: Very secure location. Deer Water Lake is a gated community. Additionally, for your safety, KSW cabin utilizes security cameras covering the exterior entrances of the cabin and the parking area.

J's Chalet (formely the 'Waltz Inn') is a charming chalet style home that is located 1 mile from Sulphur Creek Marina at Dale Hollow State Park. The chalet is situated on a side street that has little to no traffic, which makes it a relaxful getaway. This beautifully decorated cabin is a perfect place for you and your family to get away from it all. The space
The upper level has an open floor plan. There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom as well as kitchen, dining room and living room. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full. If additional room is needed, we offer a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. There is also a 58" smart tv in the living room that is also viewable from the kitchen and Dining room. Down the spiral staircase is the lower level where there is another bedroom with a queen bed and a bonus room with a queen bed. Also, there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. The family room has another 58" smart tv and just off of the family room is a space set up as an Office/work area that has a great view of the pond and fountain. The smart tv's are connected to the internet so you can stream from your personal accounts.
If you choose to dine out, you will be a short drive from countless restaurants.
Shopping is also a short drive away.

This brick and stone 4-BD, 3-BA, 3-story house sleeps up to 12. Has 3-BR, with a 4th sleeping area in the Lower Level den with a queen bed. 3-BA. It features a private dock for swimming, fishing laying out, and great for kayaks! Bring your own too if you have them.

Inside, the master BR on the middle floor has one queen bed and access to the Jack and Jill Full bath with Jacuzzi Tub and walk in shower, The upper floor has two private bedrooms that share a full bath with walk in shower. One bedroom has 2 queen beds, the second BR has one queen and 2 twin beds. The Lower level den has a queen bed and is open to the game room with a 6 foot pool table and has a full bath with shower stall and is equipped with a full laundry facility, essential for large groups. The main living space is open to the kitchen, dining table and living area with floor to ceiling picture frame windows letting in lots of natural light while showcasing the scenic forested backdrop. The kitchen has a large wrap around counter with bar stool seating and plenty of counter space. It comes with all the modern amenities including New refrigerator, dishwasher, oven/range, fiber optic Wi-Fi, Smart TV, central gas Heat/AC, Jacuzzi tub, stone fireplace, vcr/dvd player, and plenty of plush couch seating to unwind and relax after the days activities!

Outside is a private 6 person hot tub shaded from the rain and snow by the covered porch. The wrap around deck is partially covered and has a gas grill, charcoal grill both under shelter from the elements for no rain out grilling. There are tables and chairs for outdoor dining on the open deck to take in the scenery. The yard is home to a large built in seating fire pit with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

Access to the cabin makes it a great option for winter visits when snow might be in the forecast and is easy for 2wd vehicles on paved flat roads to a flat gravel road and parking area with a 2nd lower gravel parking area providing plenty of space.

Conveniently located in the Gated community of Deer Water Lake in Cliffview Resort, Wuthering Heights is in close proximity to other Deerwater Lake Cabins in the Scenic Cabin Rentals Family including Kentucky Straight Wilderness, Bake's Burrow, Forestdale, Clifftop Haven, Lakeview Retreat, Fourest Adventures and Lakeside Wonder . If you have to use your cell phone, drive drive back the way you came for about 1.75 miles until you get a signal on you cell phone...(some cell phones make WiFi calling)

Visit the historical Wilderness Road State Park ±26 miles from here just across Powell Mountain. Proceed another ten miles from there to the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. Or visit the natural Tunnel State Park located 32 miles NE from the Chalet... or the Sevierville, Pigeon forge Gatlingburg area with all of it's attractions about ±82 miles south of here. AND, best of all, if you come in the fall, the leaves are spectacular here, and you do not have to fight the crowds in the Smokie Mountain tourist traps!

Tucked away from the world, you'll feel completely in tune with nature. Within walking distance is 5 acre crystal clear Deer Water Lake in Cliffview Resort, great for fishing, swimming, kayaking and sun bathing. Lake is stocked and is "Catch & Release".
Access is moderately easy for 2wd vehicles on paved and gravel roads to a long gravel driveway to a parking area with space for 3-4 vehicles.

Families with children should be aware that this cabin sits along shear cliff edges. While most of it has fencing along it, access to the edge is easily gained so close supervision in the yard and along the driveway is an important factor to consider for families with curious small children.

One of only 5 homes in the neighborhood, it feels like you have a private mountaintop to enjoy the amazing views of Lake Cumberland. With 5 spacious bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms, there is enough space for all of your family and friends. You can enjoy lake views from the living room, office, loft and almost every spot outside. This home can comfortably sleep 21 people and is great for entertaining.

Waters Edge is located in a private neighborhood with no other houses around. The front parking can accommodate 4 large vehicles or boat/trailers, and the driveway can fit a few more. Since you are the only house on the street, parking along the street can fit everyone else.

• - There shall not be smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied.

• - PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.

• - PARKING: parking is provided in driveway in font of House side by side.. Our Parking is suitable for sedans or SUVs. Boat Parking available if necessary.

• - Feel free to use the barbecue outside that is set up for our super guests’ leisure use only. The BBQ is to be used by the guests who stay at the home and is not to invite others to the home as it will be considered as hosting a party. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required. You will also need to add your own gas to the BBQ as it is not supplied.

• - Please acknowledge that from occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests' discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

• - Minimum age to rent 25 years old.

• - If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first.

• - If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
