This property is a large two bedroom cabin with a spacious, open floor plan and a huge window wall. The king suite includes a large bathroom with full size shower, as well as a restful reading loft. The queen guest quarters also has an adjoining full bath. Both beds have high count cotton sheets, and fluffy towels for bathing. The kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, fully equipped, and refrigerator provides filtered water and ice. We offer a flat screen TV over elegant gas fireplace, supplied by DISH/HOPPER. Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin is a roomy 2200 sq ft chalet on Deer Water Lake in the Cliffview Resort area of Red River Gorge, Kentucky. Conveniently located, just minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, RRG Zipline, Gorge Underground, and some of the best hiking trails and rock-climbing routes in the region.

This stunning 3-story A-frame has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 14. Included are 2 primary suites each with a king-size bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms that together contain 3 queen-size beds and 2 full-size beds (one lofted) plus a 3rd full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Two half-baths are also included on the first floor and basement making this well-maintained cabin the perfect accommodation for hosting wedding parties, family reunions, or week-end getaways with friends. If your group values comfort and convenience, you cannot do better than KSW Cabin!

Indoor amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, blender and all cooking utensils. To add to your convenience, this modern cabin also has powerful high-speed internet, a USB charging station, two ROKU televisions with live streaming channels (YouTubeTV), a stone gas fireplace, a game room with an air hockey table, and a laundry room with a washer & dryer.

Outdoor amenities include a large deck perfect for outdoor dining, a metal-roofed wrap-around porch, gas grill, 6-person hot tub, and a large fire pit. Cornhole boards/bags are also available for your use.

The 5-acre Deer Water Lake sits 50 yards down the hill from the cabin and is walkable by private trail (somewhat steep) or easily drivable. There guests can swim, fish, float or just relax at water’s edge from our spacious private dock. 2 kayaks and paddles are provided, or bring your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard for non-motorized boating. Life vests are not provided so please bring your own.

Unlike many RRG cabins, KSW Cabin is easily accessed via flat paved roads and has a spacious parking area (enough for 9 vehicles). An AWD vehicle is not necessary to access KSW cabin, making it the perfect choice for any season.

SMOKING is not permitted inside Kentucky Straight Wilderness Cabin but is allowed outdoors on porches and decks.

NO PETS of any type are allowed inside Kentucky Straight Wilderness cabin. Violation of the no pets policy is grounds for immediate eviction.

NOTE: Bed linens, bathmats, hand towels, and kitchen towels are provided. One starter set of bath towels and washcloths is provided for each guest. We recommend that Guests bring their own extra washcloths, bath towels, and beach towels since we have no way of providing extra towels during your stay.

Note: Very secure location. Deer Water Lake is a gated community. Additionally, for your safety, KSW cabin utilizes security cameras covering the exterior entrances of the cabin and the parking area.

- Very secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, ziplining, boat tours and more! Natural Bridge State Park in Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake in Morehead, KY are both approximately 45 minutes away.

- "Great clean place with everything you need short of personal items. Private and beautiful. Nicely laid out... The deck is incredible. We enjoyed it so much we plan on staying again. Away from the park a little bit but fun drive and beautiful scenery to and from -- also decent grocery shopping close by -- Dollar General is 5 min away and there's an IGA about 20 min away As the listing reads -- 4x4 or AWD is suggested. No low sports cars will make it up the driveway -- motorcycle would be challenging also."

The chalet-style home boasts amazing views from almost every room of the home. If you're looking for a lake rental to entertain family, friends, or fishermen you're going to want to check out this lake-house as it's a crowd-pleaser. This home offers 2 acres with a private 30ft covered slip dock w/year-round water, jet-ski pads boat ramp & a 4 seater mule to carry you to & from the dock if needed. Enjoy the wrap-around decks for relaxing after a day on the lake or maybe a dip in the hot tub. Revel in the sun rising over the lake, view thousands of stars at night, play corn hole, and enjoy the fishing and boating this lake is famous for.

On the main level, the living room boasts Italian leather furniture and two stories of windows to take in the best views of the lake. The open concept flows into the dining area and fully stocked kitchen. There is also a full bath and a large bedroom with 2 queen beds. The wrap around deck is a great gathering place to relax and enjoy the views.

The upper level has a large loft area with more scenic views. It s a terrific area for the kids to play games, watch TV, or to read a book. From this bedroom, you can experience the amazing views of the sun rising over the lake, it's spectacular!

The lower level is sure to please as the game room comes complete with a full-size pool table, an oak bar with leather bar chairs, 52 Inch UHD TV & dartboard. Walk outside through the screened-in patio porch & enjoy the hot tub. Also on the lower level is a full bathroom and private bedroom with a queen-size bed, bunk bed with a double bed, twin on top & a twin trundle.

The property sleeps up to 14 (1 king, 3 queen size beds, 1 Bunk with 2 twins & 1 double bed, 1 queen sofa bed), 3 full bathrooms (one has a tub, the others have showers), a full kitchen with all the amenities, and a game room complete with a pool table, bar and leather bar chairs. In full, there are 3 living\ seating areas, an upper-level deck, and lower level screened patio with plentiful seating.

Cable TV on separate channels (i.e. you can watch different channels in separate rooms!), high-speed internet access (wired or wireless) and a land-line phone are provided.

The community boat ramp is just around the corner for launching your water toys. If you don't have a boat, arrangements can be made for daily\weekly rental of a pontoon, Tri-toon speed, or fishing boats from a nearby marina or can be delivered on-site.
