- "As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more special. Cheese, crackers, wine, dark chocolate and chocolate chip cookies greeted us. The following days breakfast was excellent. I was very pleased that the current proprietor would listen to my history and share what he knew. It was once owned as a family venture, bakery/general store/boarding house and is again being well taken care of by another family. When I return to do further research I will again stay there and check out the ghost that will not let the basement door stay closed. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.

5.) Please be respectful of our neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.

6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.

7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.

8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests. The main house is adjacent to the studio parking area but is situated such that there is typically very minimal contact with us. Should you need anything though we are just a text or email away!

Guests who reserve both bedrooms to privatize the Carriage House also have access to a queen-size pullout sleeper sofa downstairs, creating space for a total of six overnight guests. Whether you are looking for a more private alternative to a noisy hotel, or you were simply drawn in by the comforting wood and brick décor, the Carriage House is a great place to lose yourself for multiple nights.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire first floor which has a stone fireplace in the living room as well as a smart TV with access to Netflix. There is a half bathroom on the first floor and kitchette area with coffe maker and microwave. Outside you will enjoy a patio with bar area and outdoor fireplace. You, also, have access to the first floor of the Main House, porches and grounds.

Other things to note
Breakfast is included in your stay. This is a plated meal and served to you at your pre-arranged time between 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the Main House. Please notify us in advance of any dietary needs or allergies.
