Upon entering the treehouse you are treated to the huge map of the world as you look up in the 13' vaulted entryway. A small window seat area creates a cozy reading area with a small collection of old books to explore! The wrap around deck with gas grill provides a laid back environment to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding forest! The second floor bedroom includes 10' vaulted ceiling which provides plenty of Windows for 360 degree views of the forest from the comfort of the queen sized bed, step out on to the balcony which features a whimsical 'outhouse' with year round compost toilet and a outdoor hot water shower while giving you a 360 degree view of the surrounding forest nearly 30' off the ground! The house also has outdoor security cameras at the front door as well as back lower door and back outdoor walkway to provide added protection as well as to check for arrivals and departures for housekeeping and maintenance services. While these cameras do add "security" please note that they are only outdoors and NOT monitored. We are pet friendly with an additional daily charge.

Make reservations for the animal safari near Lake Geneva. They were sold-out for several days when we visited. Enjoyed the local food. Nearest grocery store was very adequate. I gave 'location' 4* because I feel technically, the neighbor-house that probably has not had a dime invested in it in 20 years, looks slobby, but, it was fun watching the ground-hog sneak into its foundation and under its concrete steps. I do not feel it is a security or safety threat, but, I am not going to pretend it is a neighborhood of stately homes. The other neighbor has probably not trimmed his shrubbery for 5 years, but, it was not a problem. The remainder of the neighborhood is upbeat and nice. Do not be disturbed by the two neighbors. The neighborhood was not noisy or rowdy at any time while we were there. We enjoyed wandering through it walking our dogs. The family all left contented from a great vacation, thanks!"
