As you walk up to the Emerald Cottage you walk up onto the deck and looking ahead you see the beautiful view of Deep Lake. Open the door and walk into the living room and eat-in kitchen that both overlook Deep Lake. The kitchen has new countertops, but is also sprinkled with vintage items that gives the cottage a homey feel. Continue through the living room and open the door to the pantry housing all of the games for a great rainy day!

Once stepping into the hall you are hit with the beautiful, bold bathroom with all new fixtures and wallpaper.

The bedroom on the east side of the house is the ski room with a custom vintage ski headboard. There is a large closet with hangers for all of your clothing items. Also, it has a desk and chair if you do need a location to work from home.

The bedroom on the west side is cozy, bead-board paneling detail and mirrors the east room with matching closets.

Off of the kitchen is an entry closet and steps to the basement. The basement is partially finished. It has new carpet and a 52 inch TV with two futons and a large coffee table to play games on. Directly behind the futon is a queen bed that has a beautiful view overlooking the lake.

The space
Escape to our charming, rustic cottage located on 4 acres of private property overlooking Green Bay. This Northwoods retreat is all it’s meant to be, featuring an open-plan living space with natural light-filled rooms and simplistic cabin decor. The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities needed to cook meals and leads to a beautiful wooden dining table with four stools, where you can enjoy the stunning view from the kitchen. Or dine under the stars on the outdoor decking area with a large table and chairs. The bathroom is light and airy with a shower/bath tub, toilet, sink, and fresh clean towels.

The bedroom has ample sleeping space for larger groups or families with a unique bunk bed design consisting of a single bed on top and a Full bed below, next to a Queen stand alone bed. Minimalistic storage space with clothes rack and hangers, and wall-mounted ROKU TV. The living room boasts an open layout leading to the kitchen and dining area with wooden flooring throughout, a large plush gray surround couch, and a TV to unwind after a day of adventure or enjoy gathering together for a movie.

Outdoor enthusiasts can fish, swim, and boat in the serene waters, enjoy a wood fire pit with lawn chairs, and take advantage of the private BBQ grill.
**Keep in mind, this is a waterfront property surrounded by thousands of acres of wooded land. Nature and wildlife in all forms is apart of this location and is expected to make an appearance! Deer, waterfowl, birds of all kinds, and yes, bugs, are residents of our property.

The space
Lake View Cottage #13 is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom housekeeping cottage that can sleep up to 10 people. Cottage features: Air Conditioning, Screened-in porch, full kitchen, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, cable TV, picnic table, and Weber charcoal grill. Linens included. Please bring your own towels and soap/shampoo.
Access the rest of the Resort facilities which include a slip in our covered boathouse for your boat or ours, kayaks, canoe, standup paddleboards, paddleboats, Rec-Room, convenience store, exercise room, laundromat, sand volleyball court, live bait sales, basketball court, playground, fire pit, park-like grounds, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, other yard games, and a swimming area with sand castle area, Rave Bongo swim bouncer, and floating mats.
Big Lake Chetac features unexcelled pan fishing for bluegill, crappie, and yellow perch as well as walleye, northern pike, and largemouth and smallmouth bass. Clean your catch in our fish cleaning house and let us take care of the remains or take advantage of the fish cleaning service (summer months only).
Our peaceful surroundings make it easy to unwind as you enjoy the view from your lawn chair, the patio, beach, or boat. Our park-like grounds including numerous flower beds that contribute to the tranquility that is part of your memorable vacation experience.
Or take to the trails with your ATV. Our private trail allows you to connect to over 600 miles of maintained ATV trails throughout Sawyer and Washburn Counties without trailering your ATV. Rinse the dirt off at our ATV washing station. We also sell ethanol free gasoline for ATV's and boats.
Resort also has a 15 kW solar electric array and includes a level 2 (mid-speed) electric car charger.
