- "This little cabin is adorable. Clean & well maintained. We stayed for two nights. I wish it had been cool enough to leave the windows open to hear the cattle & sheep in the surrounding fields. I also wish we could have stayed longer. Things to know: -When you arrive, go past the green shed to the gate. Open the gate and keep driving to the cabin on your right. Arriving after dark made this a very confusing experience. -We didn't bring coffee supplies (grounds, creamer). Pack your own coffee making supplies. -The queen mattress is VERY firm, as are the pillows. The firmest mattress/pillow i have ever encountered in my 51 years. (The single bed and trundle are not that firm.) Bring your own pillow if you like something squishy. I didn't love the blanket (sort of scratchy), but during the summer months, I just pushed it out of the way. - It is well water and I'm used to well water. But my partner & sister were put off by the smell. It didn't bother me much, but you might want to bring water for drinking if you're not accustomed to well water. - It really is an overall remote area of OH. You can drive for a long time and not encounter a store or gas station once you leave McArthur. This cabin is about 5 miles from a grocery store or McDonald's. "

- "The cabin was lovely. We were very pleased. Beds were comfortable. It met our needs well. All was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we left halfway through our stay due to threats from a hostile neighbor. All because we walked our 8 lb dog through the front edge of his yard. There are no sidewalks. He drove right up to the porch of the cabin and cussed and threatened my husband. He was drunk, and mentioned a gun. We packed up and left immediately. Whether you are traveling solo for work, or for recreation with your family, our lovely two bedroom, 1200 square foot guest house is ideal. One of two houses on the property (we live in the other) designed and built in 1920 as a summer residence for a local family. These 5.5 acres of park-like setting are situated on the serene Stillwater River. Tucked away, in the midst of the suburbs, surrounded by trees, gardens and the sound of birds, this gem of a place is a perfect home away from home.

The space
The Blue Heron Guesthouse is fully equipped to supply you with a home away from home. One bedroom with queen bed, large closet, and dresser. One bedroom with a double bed, large closet, and dresser. One bathroom with shower head and tub, one half bath and laundry room, a full kitchen (complete with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker and Keurig), a dining area with table, 6 chairs (and a high chair, if needed). Living room with a couch, reclining chair, roll top desk and 52" flat screen TV with cable. A Sunroom with chaise lounge (which fully reclines and is suitable for a child to sleep on), loveseat and two chairs, as well as a modest reading library and games. Internet with wifi. Coffee & Tea to get your day started. PLEASE NOTE: due to extreme allergies of visiting family members who use the guest house when we are not Airbnb-ing we are unable to host any animals (including service animals).

The Guesthouse has a separate driveway and on site parking for 2 vehicles. It has a front porch with two chairs, a side table, and a rocking chair. A back deck with glass table top and 4 chairs and a propane grill. Guests have access to the riverfront, our ornamental pond with gold fish, bullfrogs, and turtles, and the Guesthouse gardens. We use the attic in the Guesthouse, and two cupboards in the half bath/laundry room as storage so those are off limits.

Other things to note
Since moving here in 2016, we have seen an array of birds and animals on our property (blue heron, deer, beaver, hawks, turtles, ground hogs, owls, wild turkey, chipmunks, and four varieties of woodpeckers to highlight a few).

The Buss Stop offers great amenities to unwind and relax, including a private porch, full-service kitchen, two sitting/living rooms, & private covered carport. The space
First floor includes an eat in kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need to make a full meal. The spacious living room has a sofa, arm chairs and smart TV and is connected to the front entry. Additionally on the first floor is a half bath, laundry room, and walk-in pantry.

The second floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king size bed and arm chairs. This room also includes a smart TV, en-suite bathroom, and walk in closet. The second bedroom is complete with a full size bed, twin bunk beds, walk in closet and some areas to sit. Guests staying in the room will have access to the second full bathroom located off the hallway. Additionally the second floor has a desk and dedicated work space.

This home can comfortably sleep 6 people. It can sleep up to 8, but additional fee will apply!

The fenced in backyard offers privacy and is outfitted for grilling, bonfires and family game night. A full size propane grill is available for guest use along with a variety of yard games. Backyard also includes adirondack chairs around the fire and an outdoor dining table.

Falu Cottage is a Scandinavian inspired cottage perched upon a moss and fern covered hillside surrounded by state forest. Giant hemlocks embrace this peaceful and centrally located getaway in the heart of Hocking Hills. The cottage is Falu red (FAH-LOO) Swedish: falu rödfärg, which is a permeable red paint commonly used on wooden cottages and barns in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. A completely refurbished interior will greet you with a modern yet, cozy atmosphere.

This charming two-story cottage, called "Time and Again" is located near the heart of the downtown Lakeside business district with easy access to shopping and dining. Features a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and three porches for entertaining. 218 Sycamore is ideal for families and groups. There is a dishwasher and washer and dryer available for use. Central air and electric heat. Must bring bed sheets and towels. Additional gate fees Memorial-Labor Day. Walking distance to beach/Lake.

The space
This cottage is in the heart of the Lakeside community. It is not your typical Airbnb as it is in an older but updated cottage with lots of character but great for families and all the surrounding activities nearby!

Lakeside is a gated community with additional gate fees from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Off season is all other times and has no gate fees. Guests will have parking spaces next to house for a fee which is paid at the gates during “regular season”. Off season has free parking at house. Guests will have a key access given prior to check in time

Please note during regular season: Memorial Day until Labor Day. Lakeside Charges a “gate fee” for entrance to the community which will allow access to house and parking at house. A ticket is given after purchase and will give you access to the community pool and work out center as well as beach areas and playgrounds.
