Beds are very comfortable, each room is climate controlled to your preference, kitchen is fully stocked, and whatever laundry detergent they use smells AMAZING! (There is no washer/dryer) so pack accordingly. Keurig coffee maker and standard coffee pot are available for use. Front porch/chairs offered amazing views to relax and enjoy nature. We spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors but our time spent inside the cabin was so cozy and comfortable. There is a bowling alley within walking distance, we did not go but always an option for entertainment. We are happy to visit with our guests but are sensitive to your privacy also. We know that guests typically arrive tired from travel, so we try to let you get settled as quickly as possible. (Food and Drink goodies may change according to season)

We will provide a welcome guide book with all the information you will need to help make your stay, successful.

We are 10-30 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. We have parking for 2 cars with a little trick to turning around. The cottage is on a semi-steep short driveway for those who are flat-landers. Everywhere in WV is on a hill. Smile. Sorry, no parties, but business guests may conduct meetings. There are a strict check-in and check-out policy. Also, we have a strict up to 4 guests maximum and after check-in, we do not offer refunds for any reason.

To make your arrival special, we provide complimentary fresh-baked specialty bread, bottled water, and a variety of coffees & teas, ready for brewing in our Keurig coffee maker! (Drinks & Goodies may change according to season)

For safety, we have a smoke detector, CO detector, fire extinguisher in the kitchen, first aid kit, and our phone numbers for emergency situations.

You'll find a hairdryer in the bathroom, and we provide an iron with ironing board for your use.
There are cottages on both sides of the 'Starry Night' cottage, "Stormie Day" & "Lakyn's Wishing Well". Our guest are welcome to walk through the "Emerald Forest" in development for our Fairytale Weddings, past the generational initial trees, pine groves, rock cliffs. You may see a deer or two grazing behind the Cottage or on a "quiet" walk through the woods. there also could be a large flock of turkeys or other critters.

Welcome to our Cranesville Rental Whispering Pines... Whispering Pines is nestled in the pines and premiere farm land in tiny community of Cranesville. It borders Cranesville Swamp Nature conservancy. It has a beautiful pond for catch and release fishing, There are cattle, sheep, horses, mules, ducks, and chickens for you to enjoy. The hot tub was wonderful! The house was clean and the pictures don’t do it justice, there is plenty of room. We traveled into McHenry for the Festival of Trees and stopped at Mountain State Brewery (based on other reviews - awesome!) on the way back to the property. 1 bedroom Cottage with the most beautiful sunsets which you can enjoy while sitting in the outdoor living area sipping a beverage of your choice. In the cooler evenings you have a gas fireplace to keep you toasty and maybe even make smores to enjoy! In the mornings the sunrise is a glorious site popping up over the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are in a small community that is quiet and extremely safe! Located on 3 acres of land on a hill nestled in the middle of 250 acres of farmland. It feels very private here, but we are still within walking distance to downtown Charles Town with restaurants, grocery store, bars and shopping.

The bedroom has a queen bed with a new comfy foam topper. A TV and ceiling fan. The Living room has a brand-new queen sleeper sofa bed with a comfy foam mattress with another TV. I take pride in making sure everything is super CLEAN! Full kitchen with full size refrigerator and washer & dryer. The Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials (pots, pans, plates, some cooking ingredients, Keurig coffee maker with pods, sugar & cream and much more). The shower has a seat and a dispenser with soap, shampoo and conditioner.

The outdoor living area is set up with a patio table, 4 chairs, umbrella, gas fire pit, and a BBQ grill. Cottage is located next to the main house, and you will have your own private space in and around the cottage. All to yourselves to enjoy and relax. Including private parking large enough for 2 cars.

– HOUSEKEEPING:
There is no daily housekeeping service provided in the rental rate. Before check-in, the unit will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by our check-in supervisor to ensure all cleaning and sanitizing protocols were applied. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit. We provide 1 bath towel and wash cloth per guest, 1 bed sheet and comforter per bed. There is a washer and dryer on-site.
Please be aware there is no street parking. This is a matter of public safety and Fire Code. Please Park in your driveway. Vehicles parked in the roadways may be towed and will be at the owner’s expense.

*ADDITIONAL CHARGES: (please read the rental agreement in full to see all details)

- When is trash picked up?
Trash Collection is on Fridays after 6:00am.
*Trash policy- Guest(s) will bag and properly dispose of all their trash including recycling items.
All trash/recycling items must be bagged in appropriate (13-gallon bags or larger) trash bags and placed in proper outdoor locations prior to departure. The local trash company will not haul away loose left items, small bags, pet bags, or grocery bags.
Failure to properly bag (kitchen size bags or larger only) and/or remove all garbage/recyclables from the cabin will result in additional charges not less than $200.00 for bagging and additional haul off.
The trash bin is located at the end of the driveway. Trash bin must have lid shut and secured after each use to ensure animal damage/destruction doesn’t occur.

-What items can clog a toilet?
Our septic systems are fragile and items such as feminine products, paper towels, excess toilet paper, or anything else that does not belong in a toilet can cause a backup in the system. Do not put anything in the toilet except for the normal use of toilet paper.

- Can I send mail to the property?
USPS does deliver to the property. UPS and FedEx may be able to deliver to your home (be sure to provide accurate address information). Note, Mountainside Getaways is not responsible for lost or undelivered packages.

- When will I receive my check in instructions? What is the check in process?
A confirmation email will be sent 1-5 days prior to arrival. A door code/lockbox code will be included along with detailed driving directions as GPS isn’t always reliable in our area. *Please note if the rental agreement and arrival information form are not submitted to our company, we will be unable to send the check in instructions until both forms are completed and returned to our company.

- How many cars can I park?
There is an upper driveway and lower driveway to easily accommodate 6+ cars. Do not park in the grass area's.

Located on the 60 acre Seaton Place Farm, circa 1840, this 2019 renovated 3 bedroom and 2 bath cottage is one of a kind. Sophisticated, but cozy. Charming, but informal. It is for those who are captivated by nature yet close to hunt and horse country, vineyards and the antique shops of Middleburg. The property boasts a stocked pond, abundant wildlife and three artificial golf greens for par 3 golf. Enjoy taking long walks down Carr Lane past the adjacent 2000 acres of protected pastureland. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor fire pit equipped with a grill. It uses wood or charcoal. We also have a Weber propane grill on the outdoor deck. Serve your outdoor meals on a quaint wooden picnic table. Take advantage of the property by strolling down to the pond and casting a line. Use of the par 3 golf course is limited and is at an additional charge. Please feel free to bring your dogs for an additional $75 per stay. No cats. No puppies. Dog rules include a) limit of 2, b) dogs to be walked on a leash, c) no barking at the horses or wildlife, and 4) pets are not permitted on the beds or furniture. We have a 3/4 acre fenced area for dogs to run and play. It is adjacent to the guesthouse. An extra pet cleaning fee of $150 will be assessed if there is evidence of pets on the furniture or beds. This adorable cottage on a dead end, private road has spectacular Potomac River views with a private, community boat ramp to access the river located directly across the private road. Meticulously restored, beautifully decorated, 1-bedroom, 1-bath home with a fold-out futon in the living room, and large sunroom with expansive river views will surely bring those that rent it tranquility, fun, and special memories - very unique home in a coveted location

The bedroom has a trundle bed that pulls out for 2 twin size beds. It’s not evident on the pictures, but it’s there. There is a foldaway queen size bed to use as well. It sleeps 5 in total.

The kitchen has an infrared hot plate unit, full refrigerator & freezer, microwave, and countertop convection oven.

The bathroom is unique. It’s separated into two distinct rooms. The shower is isolated from the toilet and sink.

There is bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shower caps, toothpaste, mouthwash, makeup wipes, deodorant, Starbucks coffee k-cups, disposable utensils, dishes, and lotion etc as a little extra touch for your usage while there.

Additional rules
Please do not use any of the baseboard heaters for heat. The window unit in the living room is capable of both heating & cooling.

Please do not do any illegal drugs in our home, no smoking, and no heavy drinking.

As stated, please do not smoke or have any events in our home.

Please do not use our boat that is parked out front; although, you’re welcome to bring your own to utilize via the community boat launch directly across the private road.

Fire hazards are prohibited, such as burning candles inside/outside and using the outdoor fire pit. The grill is negotiable usage with prior approval and ensuring the coals are completely extinguished.

The neighborhood is quiet with many homes being seasonal occupancy, so please be mindful of your noise levels, but have fun, of course!

Please take out all indoor trash to the outdoor trash can on the patio prior to your departure.

There is a big hill in the backyard, so naturally, you may encounter, possums, cats, squirrels, birds, spiders, and other wildlife - be vigilant when outside.

There is free WiFi and you will be given that info after your reservation is confirmed. Also, there will be toiletries like deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, and makeup wipes for you to use. Free bottled water will also be provided during your stay.

This property operates on a septic tank and well water. There is a UV water filtration system that was freshly installed, so you will have pure water for the home.

I run a nonprofit and i was in the area doing work for that nonprofit so my budget is low. Unfortunately there's not a lot of choices in the area without driving 45 minutes in any direction. This was cheaper than the local hotel and I got to save money by cooking instead of eating at a restaurant all while supporting small local people. Sadly because I was in the area for business I truly did not get to enjoy this cottage as much as I would have wanted to but we will be back for a pleasure trip in the next few months. Everything was wonderful. My only complaint was the owners knew we were coming but the heat was turned off in the cottage. I have neurpathy in my feet and severe arthritis and combined with the ceramic flooring it was very uncomfortable until it warned up. I had to sit in my truck in the heat until then. Brand new cabin/cottage located just outside Man, WV. We are 3 miles away from Hatfield & McCoy Trail heads as well as Outlaw trails!

Private bedroom (Queen) as well as a loft bedroom (full), and a second loft with 3 pull out (twin) beds. The lofts are open to the floor below. The sofa also pulls out to a full size bed.

Outside we have a charcoal grill, picnic table, and chairs. We also provide corn hole boards for u to enjoy a relaxing evening after riding the trails.

The space
This cottage is bright, white and clean! A very peaceful atmosphere! It has everything you need, and we know you will feel right at home here. The bedroom has a queen bed with comfy foam topper, TV and ceiling fan. The living room has a brand-new queen sleeper sofa and TV. Kitchen is stocked (pots, pans, utensils, some cooking ingredients, Keurig coffee maker with pods and coffee supplies) plus a full-size refrigerator and the bathroom has plenty of toiletries and linens. The shower has a shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser. Has a washer & dryer for your convenience. and has a grill, gas firepit, and patio furniture for you to relax and enjoy!

Welcome to my 1930's Old Stone Carriage House...Lots of History. The 1930's Carriage House was built close to the dirt road in the days of horses and buckboards. An old spring above the Carriage House flowed into the house and filled the stone *cistern in the basement to keep the buttermilk cold.

* A cistern (Middle English cistern, from Latin cisterna, from cista, "box", from Greek κίστη kistē, "basket") is a waterproof receptacle for holding liquids, usually water. Cisterns are often built to catch and store rainwater. Cisterns are distinguished from wells by their waterproof linings.

The Carriage House is beautifully updated with keeping the original hardwood floors, Iron bathtub and tile floor. The ‘then’ Air Conditioning was the cool breeze from the 'holler’ across the covered front porch. The ‘now’ Dining Room is where the ladies would gather for quilting. Notice the natural stone terrazzo windowsills and Fireplace surround. (original fireplace was replaced with an electric unit) A roaring fire would be built by great grandfather in the basement's black stained Fireplace to warm both ours and neighborhood children on cold winter days before the school bus arrived.

So Excited... The 1930's Old Stone Carriage House is located on our 17-acre private mountain in the midst of a rural neighborhood.

Old Woodland Acres is the best kept secret of beauty in the woodlands. You will be thrust out of the bright lights & pace of the city to the beauty and wonder of nature.

Old Stone Carriage House is the 1st Cottage in Old Woodland Acres. We have private extra parking on side gravel lot. The cottage is on a semi-steep short driveway for those who are flat landers. Everywhere in WV is on a hill. This is the country, so you will be walking on gravel, uneven ground, flagstone walk & stone steps.

There are STEPS... Steps into the cottage 1st floor and Steps to the 2nd Floor. Please keep this in mind.

This is a 1930's Designer Carriage House, with lots of Character and History... but it is not a Downtown Hotel.

THE SPACE

The Carriage House is 3 bedrooms - RM-A / Small BR (1st floor) queen bed. 2nd Floor- Upstairs in Granny's Attic -RM-B /Queen bed/TV and RM-C / 2 twins/TV - 1st Floor Bath is equipped with the original tub and a double head shower that only a rocket scientist can work. Upstairs 1/2 Bath is awesome. The Eat-In Kitchen is set up with a Blue Metal Table/4 chairs, Gas Range, Frig, Dishwasher, Microwave, and a Coffee Bar. The Dining Room has a simple Farm Table w/seating for 6 and a 100yr old quilting frame. In the cozy Living Room, you have a TV, Electric Fireplace leading to a Covered Porch/Veranda. It is also Business-friendly with free Wi-Fi throughout. Upon booking, you will receive a unique door lock code for self-check-in, so you do not need to worry about a key exchange.

*The basement/garage is our Workshop and is locked when we have guest. Slated for spring of 2021 -22 this space will be a Farm Museum

Although we strictly enforce our policy of No Parties or Photo Shoots at the Carriage House, you may book our venue, Old Woodland Acres, for engagements, weddings, bridal/baby showers, & photoshoots, small conferences, crafting and quilting workshops as well as weddings at our Farmhouse.

The Carriage House is 10-15+ minutes -west of the Capital City, Charleston WV, metro-proper- full of nightlife, outdoor summer concerts on the river, quaint shops and bookstores with live entertainment, convention center, specialty restaurants, and shopping at the largest In-City Mall. CRW (Yeager Airport) is approx. 25-30mins.

The Carriage House is only 20+minutes -west from a large commercial center with a 12-screen movie theater, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, restaurants, grocery stores, Cabela’s, Gander Mountain, Kohl's, Marshalls, Dick's sporting goods, Books a Million and other awesome stores and eateries.

The Carriage House is 3 miles- 7min -east of I-64 Cross Lanes Exit, community grocery stores, small mini-mall, restaurants, spa, Planet Fitness Gym and WV's 1st casino - Mardi Gras Casino with New Orleans flair, featuring slots, poker, greyhound racing, restaurants and more.

Explore southern West Virginia unique history, visit the beautiful State Capitol, the Clay Center for Arts and Science. You can see a live World, Renowned Mountain Stage Radio Show. There are lots to do in this little bitty city.

Our mountain mini retreat "Old Woodland Acres" has been in our family for over 150 years and the site of #weddings, #photoshoots, #engagements, #bridal & baby showers, #tea parties and now we have added a cottage industry. You will experience 17 acres of woodland magic in the heart of Appalachia, West Virginia. The private wooded acreage is a haven of wildlife, you may hear a dog bark, or a flock of turkeys gobbling., (there is some rural road noise) You could see an eagle soar over the treetops or beautiful deer in your back yard, fox dins, pine grove, generational initial trees, along the walking trails. You can pre-arrange some fun activities (seasonal). Build a campfire, enjoy storytelling or just gaze at the beauty of each season. If your heart is strong you can take a night tour of the old family cemetery and maybe catch sight of a vacant Old Mountain Still. Then you could go to the city for shopping, enjoying fine dining, or go to a sport's bar. You will find all these options easily available.

The space
Living Room:
It is the perfect spot to relax with a book during the day or splurge on some popcorn and wine for movie night! We have a 75" Roku Smart TV and a pull-out couch with chaise that doubles as a FULL memory foam bed. Climate control the space to your comfort with a mini-split AC/Heat unit.

Bedrooms:
Each bedroom has a KING 12-inch memory foam mattress, a 40" Roku Smart TV, an AC/heating unit for personalized comfort, a wardrobe to store your belongings, a nightstand with a USB charging lamp, and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector. Peak out the window, and you may see deer walking outside occasionally; they love to hang out in the yard in the early morning and late evening.

Bathroom:
The toilet has a bidet; it may change your life. Turn on some tunes in the standup shower (w/sitting area) with the Bluetooth speaker shower fan. We've stocked the essentials: soap, shampoo, body wash, lotion, and Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper.

Kitchen:
Get your chef on in our fully stocked kitchen with Penzeys spices, nontoxic ceramic cookware, and all the accessories you will need to prepare a great meal. There's a blender, drink glasses, and a Keurig coffee maker (drip or pods). The well water is the cleanest and tastiest in West Virginia. Still, we went the extra mile and added a whole-house UV-filtered water system and a specialized reverse osmosis faucet.

Wood-Stove:
Imported from Italy, you won't want to miss this experience during the winter months! Enjoy a romantic evening by the fire, or light up the ambiance for board game night! If you need help getting it going, we are happy to assist.

Screened-In Porch:
This is the place to hang out! Flip on the 65" Roku Smart TV and dip into the spacious 5-person hot tub! Throw some burgers on the 2-burner Weber grill and have some drinks sitting around the propane fire table. Remember to turn the string lights on!

Backyard:
Bring your smores supplies and sit by the campfire! You'll love gazing up at the stars on a clear night! Firewood is available.

We kindly ask that if you're looking to do some hiking, cycling, etc., you adventure at one of our local parks or county trails (see guidebook). While our property is marked with orange tape boundary markers, we want to avoid having guests accidentally trekking onto neighboring properties. Please keep your activity within our property boundaries and avoid using the road for recreational activities. This is a private community; we want to respect our neighbor's privacy and peace.

Other things to note
Our cottage sits in the mountains of West Virginia in a quiet, secluded area surrounded by an oak tree forest. We share the woods with friends of all shapes and sizes, including bears, bobcats, snakes, spiders, bees, stink bugs, lady bugs and other insects. We mitigate our interaction with them by having a well-maintained, clean, and pest-controlled property. Even with regularly scheduled professional pest control, it's not possible to completely prevent them from entering the cottage due to living in such close proximity. We can't guarantee 100% you won't come across them, especially during the warm weather. This is their home, and we want to be responsible about how we balance environmental care and your comfort. If you enjoy being in the middle of nature, you'll love it here, and we have a few tips for your stay;

-If you plan to be outside walking around for an extended amount of time, treat it as a hike through the woods; wear bug spray (we have some if you forget); wear protective clothing; and be aware of nature.

-Keep the doors and unscreened windows closed. Your flying friends are attracted to light.

-Utilize the screened-in porch (the hot tub is located here).

-If you have pets, use a leash outside.

-Don't leave food sitting around outside, and use tumblers/closed containers for drinks.

-Download the "seek" app. It's fun to ID plants and wildlife when you're out adventuring.

The property is located on a dirt road, so expect your vehicle will have that outdoor adventure vibe after your stay. There is a car wash in town at Kerr's Grocery to freshen up on the way out.

Winter Conditions: If you book a stay during the winter months, expect the possibility of inclement weather. The cottage is located on a mountain road with one way in and out, and it can be unsafe to travel on when it is iced or snowed over. If inclement weather is expected (December, January, or February), it is advised that you travel with a four-wheel-drive-capable vehicle. Please monitor the weather before your stay and contact the host if you have any concerns.

Holder's Cottage is a traditional timber-framed structure that sits on 150 acres of woodland at the side of a small country road, fifteen minutes from Elkins and forty minutes from Thomas.

The cottage is heated with wood, so winter guests should be comfortable operating a wood stove (or interested in learning!). We can demonstrate operation if necessary.

For stays of more than a month, policies change regarding cleaning, amenities provided, and security deposit. Please inquire.

The space
The first floor consists of an eat-in kitchen and a cozy lounge area. they are separated by a large stone center chimney that houses a functional wood stove, which is the primary heat source. At the back are a full bath and a small utility area with a clothes washer. Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms, one with an ensuite full bath. There is Starlink internet throughout the house.

Outside there is a large yard, a fire pit, fruit trees, and an elevated patio that is a great place for meals or just admiring the view. The 150 acres of woods behind the cottage are open for exploring.

Other things to note
The cottage is in a rural setting, with wood heat, spring water, and no access to public transportation. The tap water is filtered and drinkable, but because the spring sometimes gets low in dry weather we recommend the use of bottled water, so that the tap water can be reserved for washing and bathing. We provide bottled water and firewood for shorter stays. Month-to-month renters will be responsible for providing their own water, and replenishing the firewood supply.

Due to the rural setting, mice sometimes find their way into the house. We ask that guests keep the kitchen clean and keep food in sealed containers, to discourage them from taking up residence.

Due to the remote location, a vehicle is a necessity. The cottage is located up a small country road, one mile from both US Route 219 (two lane highway) and the Allegheny Highlands Rail Trail, both of which lead directly into Elkins. Bicycles are available for guest use.

Sleeping arrangements are a queen bed in each upstairs bedroom, and a sofa bed downstairs.

The cottage has Starlink internet, which has been fast and reliable overall, but as with all satellite services there will be occasional outages during storms, fog, or heavy precipitation. There is a co-working space in Elkins (Common Door) that is well regarded if folks need 100% reliable internet.

The space
Welcome to our quaint 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom cottage nestled in gorgeous Alpine Lake resort. You will be greeted by the spectacular great room with vaulted ceilings when you first enter the home. An open concept kitchen is located in the home that allows guests to entertain and cook with ease. A second floor loft can be found with two guest bedrooms combined by a spare bathroom. The master bedroom is located on the first floor with a private back porch and bathroom. A full finished basement can be found down the steps found just outside the kitchen.

Guest access
Guest will have access to amenities provided at the resort, including indoor pool facility, indoor exercise room (Keycard access), laker lounge restaurant located inside the resort, and use of the 155 acre lake including beach area located within walking distance of property. Along with access to one of the most beautiful golf courses the area has to offer. Wifi is included at the property and login information can be found in the welcome kit. Pets are allowed on property, however there is a pet fee.

Other things to note
This a private community with in house security along with a guard at the gate. You will never feel more safe and secluded than you will at this property. When coming through the gate, communicate to the guard that you are short term renting a property. You will be greeted with a smile. Restaurants: not many restaurants in the area, plan on bringing food. The laker lounge restaurant is located in resort, if searching for different cousine recommend traveling to Oakland Md for best dining experience, roughly 15 minute travel. When you’re not enjoying resort activities, visit Swallow Falls State Park or Cathedral State Park to see beautiful evergreen forests. Multiple breweries are located within minutes drive of the property as well.

Other things to note
STEEP ROADS/PARTIALLY GRAVEL: Please be aware that the roads up to the top of the mountain can be very steep. In the snow, it can be difficult to access the property. At all other times, it is not difficult. Also, please note that some of the roads are not paved. There's approximately a half to three quarters of a mile of gravel road to the house.

REMOTE LOCATION: Please be aware that this house is a good 20 min drive from the nearest full-service grocery store. If you're looking for seclusion, this is it! But if you prefer being close to a store, then this may not be the place for you.

SNOW-INS: During the winter, four wheel drive, snow tires/chains, and a car with good clearance are HIGHLY recommended in the event of a snow storm or heavy rain, as there is a good chance that a significant snow storm could restrict access in and out of the house. You need to use good judgment as to whether to cancel a trip before it begins or leave the house early.

★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

Welcome to our Cranesville rental nestled in the pines and premiere farm land.We are just 15 min from Deep Creek Lake where there are restaurants and Summer & Winter activities.Our Country home borders Cranesville Swamp Nature conservancy and has 2 beautiful pond for catch and release fishing.There are cattle, sheep, horses, mules, ducks, and chickens for you to enjoy.Gather fresh eggs you will also see deer, turkey, birds, and an occasional bear.Firewood 5.00 a crate 10 pieces in a crate.

The space
This home provides accommodations for 6 with 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in sun room, 1 full bath that supplies towels, soaps and shampoos, a full kitchen with a table for two, a separate dinning room that seat 8 to 10, sun room with Flat Screen TV (Direct TV with Ultimate Package), sleeper sofa, love seat, and recliner to relax.
The chickens are so much fun! They will greet you when you arrive and make you feel welcome. Take a nice morning walk to the chicken house to gather eggs for breakfast. The views of the farm land are soothing and refreshing. Kids enjoy helping me feed the animals and every chicken has a name by the end of their stay.
Bring your fishing poles! We have 2 catch and release ponds with nice big bass, catfish, blue gill, frogs and tadpoles. We even see a turtle every now and then. Three pair of Canadian Geese come every Spring to lay there eggs and raise there goslings. Don't get to close they might send you running.
A back yard fire pit is sure to be a place where memories are made, making smores and catching up with those who mean the most.
Unwind and relax in the steamy hot tub after a day of fun and enjoy the peaceful views of our farm.

Other things to note
Whispering Pines is the perfect spot to relax and breath in the Country air. We are 15 to 20 min away from Deep Creek Lake where there is boating, swimming, rafting, hiking, mini golf, horseback riding, skiing, ice skating, tubing. Take in the clean country air while soaking in the hot tub gazing at the stars. Relax in the evenings with the warm glow of a campfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows and watch the kids enjoy the outdoors.
