- "We enjoyed our overnight stay in the Walnut Glamping Dome so much! This was more like a very nice cabin than the tent-type structure I expected. We were so relaxed, sitting on our deck, looking out over the river, and when we went inside later in the evening, we could do the same thing. Because of the height of the space, the room seems huge - so inviting and full of light. What a wonderful place to wake up on my 66th birthday! Breakfast in the dining room was very good and the hosts were extra nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend and hope to return. "

The pictures on the listing at the time had been carefully cropped to make it appear as though it were a single cabin with a private hot tub in an enclosed space overlooking the river. But the balcony overlook is shared with all other suites. The hot tub (and other amenities) are in the middle of the motel, completely out in the open. Also, there appeared to be no thermostat in the suite, and the heat was turned up quite high. We attempted to resolve our issues directly with the lister - we couldn't go anywhere else, there was nothing else we could book so late. We didn't feel it was fair to stay there completely for free, but it was also clearly not what we were asking for. We would have much preferred to resolve this with the lister personally instead of having to post negative reviews and report them to VRBO, because it feels so childish to do so. But unfortunately, the lister simply justified themselves, refused any consideration, then they changed the pictures on the listing, presumably to avoid getting into trouble. We've reported this listing to Vrbo as deceptive. "

Everything was taken are of when we arrived and only took a few minutes for check in. Very considerate of her.Only drawback was that the pond was more remote than we had expected and the access road to it was very steep and long for some of our group."

We share the same yard. I have dogs, huskies and German shepherd. Big but friendly, all in their own kennel. They don’t bite. I let them out 2 times a day, They won’t come to your area but let you know just incase they sneak out to see you. When you park your car, my husky in her kennel will bark at you . Please don’t try to pet her if I am not there.
Guests can access the entire cabin, except for bedroom 2 ( empty room) that I already locked and I have sticker number 2 on the door.

You'll find both the Mothman and Flatwoods Monster rooms to have queen beds, and the Alien Room has a full. We also offer a roll away cot for any extra guest. There's an inflatable hot tub on the back deck ready to enjoy.
This property does require all wheel drive to get up the driveaway.

While the property does have a pool, sheds, and a cellar, they are all locked for insurance purposes.
