- "I’ve rented 4 houses in Charleston in the last four years, this is my favorite so far! Not only is the South Hills area of Charleston desirable, it’s quaint and safe. The house is decorated beautifully. I love the fabrics the homeowner used in decorating and the pillows and bedding is high quality. My teenagers loved the basement setup with ping pong, fuse ball and corn Home. I highly recommend walking the Carriage Trail nearby for some exercise. We loved this place!"

- "I was in town with a friends group to play an location based game (kind of like Pokemon Go, but not.) Everyone was very impressed with the house. It was clean, charming, and in a nice location. The only complaint we had was about access to the house, and that wasn't the fault of the owners. The city decided to tear up the street, and unless you had a taller carriage car, your cars undercarriage got scraped up. However, once parked it was quite pleasant. Everyone made a point to tell me how much they loved the house."

- "House was very unique design and layout. I don’t think it was cleaned and sanitized as stated. Microwave, refrigerator, kitchen table had to be cleaned before I used them. Lamps missing lampshades, no drain plug to wash dishes, no kitchen towels, lots of dead flies by fireplace room windows. Small things to be corrected but basically we enjoyed our time there. I also did not contact property manager at any time to complain as we were already in house and problems were minor."

- "Our hostes greeted us shortly after our arrival. We had no problem finding the key. The neighborhood was very quiet, the walk a block over to the river to see the capital building was enjoyable...not too far. The beds were delightfully comfortable. And we enjoyed sitting out on the little deck out back. We do have a few issues. First: the VRBO listing has "hot tub" as an amenity...there is NO hot tub. I'd suggest changing that because that is the main reason I booked here. Not exactly honest advertising if you ask me. The lack of decorations on walls or window treatments (even just a simple valance) or insufficient pots and pans and a few more varied dishes and glasses (juice size), a few more hand towels in kitchen, and even a dish drainer might make the place even more "homey"/comfortable. Perhaps the owner is new to BnBs or this is a new listing and "still in the works. Overall, not bad."
