The rental has a gorgeous view of a meadow. It is peaceful and serene. We were treated to sights of fireflies, a Luna moth, many wild rabbits, and deer in the time we were there. This is perfect for you if you want to be in a beautiful slice of the beautiful almost heaven that West Virginia is. There were many interesting things to see and do within a short drive. We highly recommend the bridge walk and the National Park nearby. There are also many whitewater rafting options we didn’t have time to sample. Finding the entrance to the road was easy enough but be prepared for a long and rustic road in. I wouldn’t arrive the first time after dark if I was you. We struggled a bit with the gate but our friendly host answered the call and was ready with the help we needed. The house itself is comfortable, clean, and charming. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook our meals when we ate in. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. There was laundry detergent for the washer (although we had brought some because you never know). We were very pleased with our whole experience."

FLAT #4, Eddy - Lafayette Flats Boutique Vacation Rentals is four modern vacation rentals in one historic building. This listing is for Flat #4, Eddy which is found on the third floor. Walk up the 42 stairs through the airy art-filled stairwell to reach your beautiful flat (please note: there is no elevator in this historic building). Eddy is designed to luxuriously accommodate two adults, as are all four vacation rentals at Lafayette Flats.

BEDROOM – Have a relaxing night’s sleep on the medium/firm queen-size hybrid mattress with 100% cotton sheets, four pillows (two flat and two fluffy), and an alternative down all-season duvet with a cotton duvet cover. Room-darkening blinds and curtains provide privacy. Electric and USB outlets are conveniently located on both bedside tables to keep your phone close by while you both recharge after an adventurous day.

BATHROOM –Each vacation rental at Lafayette Flats has its own hot water tank, so you can take a long shower in Eddy’s large, tiled shower. Enjoy William Roam hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap (all sulfate & paraben fee). A makeup mirror, hair dryer and 100% cotton bath towels and linens are provided to ensure you look and feel your best.

LIVING SPACE – Enjoy the abundant natural light streaming through Eddy’s many windows. The comfortable living area has a desk, sofa, table, lamps and smart TV. Dine at the kitchen table.

KITCHEN – Prepare simple or complex meals in the small but fully functional kitchen with all utensils and wares provided, including a refrigerator, electric range stove and oven, toaster, and microwave. Fiestaware table settings and glassware are provided as are salt, pepper, and olive oil. Enjoy filtered water from the Brita pitcher in your refrigerator.
