The space
As you walk up to the Emerald Cottage you walk up onto the deck and looking ahead you see the beautiful view of Deep Lake. Open the door and walk into the living room and eat-in kitchen that both overlook Deep Lake. The kitchen has new countertops, but is also sprinkled with vintage items that gives the cottage a homey feel. Continue through the living room and open the door to the pantry housing all of the games for a great rainy day!

Once stepping into the hall you are hit with the beautiful, bold bathroom with all new fixtures and wallpaper.

The bedroom on the east side of the house is the ski room with a custom vintage ski headboard. There is a large closet with hangers for all of your clothing items. Also, it has a desk and chair if you do need a location to work from home.

The bedroom on the west side is cozy, bead-board paneling detail and mirrors the east room with matching closets.

Off of the kitchen is an entry closet and steps to the basement. The basement is partially finished. It has new carpet and a 52 inch TV with two futons and a large coffee table to play games on. Directly behind the futon is a queen bed that has a beautiful view overlooking the lake.

Take a right after the steps which is the utility room with a washer and dryer and a door out to the patio area.

Please note that we have implemented new house rules for outdoor and indoor activity due to our town’s rules and regulations in our subdivision. In respect for all neighbors, all outdoor activity in the yard or patio shall end at 10 PM. Quiet time must be observed. Outdoor lights, as well as fire pits, must be put out at 10 PM from Sunday through Thursday evenings, and at 12 AM on Friday and Saturday evenings. Please extinguish the fire pits by dousing each fire with water and covering them for the evening, making sure the fire is reduced to a low ember or is completely extinguished.

We also ask that quiet time be implemented indoors as well, keeping noise to a minimum. Many guests in the house work early or late hours, and everyone sleeps at different times during the day. We only ask for a lower noise level from 10 PM until 6 AM.

The Residences of Kensington are the crown jewel in our array of housing offerings. These two-bedroom one bath units feature a waterfall granite island with four designer stools, a large executive 78″ built in modern fireplace with 65″ built in television, and a full stainless steel high-end appliance upgrade.

Each unit comes with a garage, not attached, and free laundry access in the building (not in the individual units.)

The space
Bathrooms have tub/shower and large 48″ vanity, many with granite or quartz updates and new shower doors and updated fixtures.

The two bedrooms feature closets and 50″ TVs with one king bed per unit and the second bedroom typically having a queen bed or a pair of extra-long twin beds. The Lavish Lion specifically currently has a queen bed set up in the second bedroom as pictured.

The furnishing appointments can be defined as executive upgraded with nicer large sectionals, abundant pillows, blankets, nice new mattresses that have been highly reviewed, and a kitchen with extra stock to include everything from your small appliances (toaster/coffee maker/blender/griddle) to extra wine glasses, pots and pans, big spoon drawer items etc.
