Welcome to the Harbor House Guest Cottage, located in the heart of Ephraim, WI!

Ephraim, with its sparkling harbor and picturesque landscape, is undoubtedly the crown jewel of Door County's bayside villages. That's where you'll find the the Harbor House Guest Cottage, located on a quiet side street at 9801 Brookside Lane.

Our two-bedroom Guest Cottage sleeps a maximum of 5 people - 1 queen bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom (with a full bed on the lower bunk and a twin bed on the top bunk) and one full-size pullout sleeper sofa in the living room.

The cottage features a large screened-in back porch and has a fully equipped kitchen (with new refrigerator and stove), comfortable living room and dining room, bathroom (fully renovated in Spring 2018) and small front deck. Our cottage also provides a 32" SmartTV as well as hi-speed WiFi.

All beds have pillows, bedspreads, blankets, sheets, pillowcases and mattress pads. Bath towels are also provided.

In addition, we provide our guests with use of a Weber charcoal grill, a private outdoor fire pit, Adirondack chairs and use of 4 kayaks. For those with toddlers, a pack-and-play crib and high chair are available.

The Harbor House Guest Cottage is conveniently located approximately two blocks from the Ephraim public beach at 9801 Brookside Lane in Ephraim, WI.

Sister Bay Cottage

Cozy and comfortable cottage located on 1.5 acres just 1.8 miles from downtown Sister Bay. Truly, the pictures just don’t do this spot justice. This great cottage features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, terrific modern kitchen with basically every appliance you could need, wrap around deck for relaxing and entertaining plus a deck with seating off master bedroom. It is tastefully decorated and furnished and supplied with everything from dishware to cookware to linens and towels to much, much more. The huge fire pit and seating provides a lovely spot to enjoy any mild evening. Cottage is located on a quiet street just off Highway 57 with lots of privacy and trees around the property. Sister Bay is ten minutes from Fish Creek, Ephraim, Ellison Bay and Baileys Harbor – so this cottage puts you right in the middle of everything that northern Door County has to offer. First floor consists of great room with dining area with seating for four, lovely kitchen and cozy living room with vaulted ceiling with fire view propane stove. There is also a first floor laundry area with full sized front loading washer and dryer and storage, main bedroom with queen sized bed, roomy storage and full bathroom. Stairs lead to the loft area with media area and leather seating, second bedroom with queen sized bed and second full bathroom. Cottage has central heating and air conditioning – so it is the perfect spot in any weather. Satellite TV and wifi/internet are provided in case you time to settle in for a bit! We are definitely dog friendly -- with advance agreement. We use Mosquito Squad to treat our 1.5 semi wooded acres to keep mosquitos and tick populations down. Huge firepit with seating. Wrap around deck with gas grill and dining table and chairs. Private deck with seating off main, first floor bedroom.

We will leave bulk sized bottles for your use of hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. We will wash those bottles prior to your arrival. We will leave extra cleaning supplies and sprays under kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

And, in order to provide us with greater time to clean your rentals, we have moved check out time to 10 am and check in time to 4 pm. You can always contact us to see if it might be possible to arrive sooner – but with discharge at 10 am and arrival delayed until 4 pm, we need to have sufficient time to provide you with the cleanest rental possible. Ourdoor furniture will be cleaned as well prior to your arrival. All of our grills are gas grills and we will be certain to leave a back up small gas tank if needed at that rental. Please bag all garbage and leave in the outdoor garbage cans. Lawn care is provided to us every week to two weeks. We are often not aware what date they will be coming – but please rest assured that they will be fast and will not interrupt your visit.

Popular and well appointed, 2 bedroom 2 full bath cottage, with open floor plan. As you enter the door, to your right is the dining area, with table and chairs. To your left is the galley kitchen with breakfast bar and stools. Kitchen includes range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, regular & per cup coffee brewer as well as dishes, pots & pans, glassware etc. Cook a little, cook a lot , whatever the mood. Off the kitchen is a full bath with tub.
The living room is straight ahead. Windows line the entire wall along the dining area and living room affording you a view of the wooded area outside the cottage. There is a queen size sofa sleeper, comfy chairs, cable TV, DVD player, child safe fireplace, WiFi, and Bluetooth speaker.
The two private bedrooms are accessed to your left (off the kitchen.) The master bedroom hosts a queen size bed, closet and en suite bathroom including shower. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and closet holding stackable washer/dryer.
Outside patio features Adirondack chairs for six, charcoal grill, and urban fire pit. Dedicated parking is right out front.
The cottage stays very comfortable due to thermostat controlled central air conditioning and heat as well as electric fireplace.
Located on Main Street in front of cottage (very short walk.) is the very popular Blue Horse Beach Café. All guests of The Java Hut enjoy discounts at the café including breakfast, lunch, teas, and smoothies, as well as a full coffee/espresso bar.
A great feature of this cottage is its ideal location. Even though The Java Hut is downtown it is still in a quiet area so you get the convenience of shopping, dining, and outdoor recreation but you still have a good measure of privacy as well.

Walk to numerous restaurants in town as well as groceries via Fish Creek Market just a half block away.

This is comfy, clean housekeeping cottage set on a relaxing secluded getaway on waterfront property. Great place to create lifelong memories at a home base to explore Door County from or just hideaway and relax! A family-owned/managed property. We have generations of satisfied guests and know you'd love your stay at our cottage. Check-in time is 3:00pm or later and checkout time is 10am. This is a quiet community with residential / resort neighbors. This property is geared towards quiet family / guest vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we can't accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions and or rowdy gatherings.

The Door County Fire Marshall and our commercial insurance provider determines when burning or the use of the fire pit is allowed. Due the hot temperatures this summer (2023) and a sustained period of time over three months with no rainfall, we are restricting the use of the fire pit to protect our guests, neighbors and properties. Some local municipalities have restrictions on burning, including fire pits / campfires during very dry seasons like this.

Quiet hours 10pm to 9am. Mellow, respectful celebrations are fine and we certainly want you to have an enjoyable stay.

There isn't a washer and dryer available for the cottages. There is a laundry mat in Sturgeon Bay that our guests have been using for years during their vacations in Door County. It's called Ship Shape Laundry and is located about 3 miles from us at 828 Egg Harbor Rd #1228, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.

Rowboats no longer available.
No overnight boat docking: We live on an open waterway called the 'Bay of Sturgeon Bay' and boats can't be tied to the dock overnight due to storms and waves. In addition, the water levels by our dock are very low again this year.
Swimming access, launching kayaks and stand up paddle boarding is available from our dock. We don't have kayaks, paddleboards or canoes but you're welcome to bring yours along or rent them from a local business in Sturgeon Bay called Bay Shore Outfitters.

No smoking in cottages per Wisconsin State Statute. E-cigarettes (or vaping) isn’t allowed in the cottages.

This is comfy, clean housekeeping cottage set on a relaxing secluded getaway on waterfront property. Great place to create ‘core’ memories at a home base to explore Door County from or just hideaway and relax! A family-owned/managed property. We have generations of satisfied guests and know you'd love your stay at our cottage.

Check-in time is 3:00pm or later and checkout time is 10am. This is a quiet community with residential / resort neighbors. This property is geared towards quiet family / guest vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we can't accommodate bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions and or rowdy gatherings.

The Door County Fire Marshall and our commercial insurance provider determines when burning or the use of the fire pit is allowed. Due the hot temperatures this summer (2023) and a sustained period of time over three months with no rainfall, we are restricting the use of the fire pit this season to protect our guests, neighbors and properties. Some local municipalities have restrictions on burning, including fire pits / campfires during very dry seasons like this.

Quiet hours 10pm to 9am. Mellow, respectful celebrations are fine and we certainly want you to have an enjoyable stay.

This cottage sleeps up to a maximum of five people. The nightly rate is based on two-person occupancy. Children 9 years old and under stay free. Guests 10 years and older an extra $15.00 per night, per person plus tax.
Two bedrooms (each bedroom has a nice newer Queen bed) - This cottage has a standard couch in the living room and isn't a sleeper sofa.
Linens provided all for all rentals, which includes sheets, pillows and blankets / quilts. Towels provided for stays of 6 days or less.
Ben Franklin Propane Stove-like heater and electric baseboard heat for chilly nights.
Please note – No pets allowed in cottages, cars or anywhere on the property.
Portable fans located in each cottage.
Cottages don't have air conditioning. Portable air conditioner units not allowed in cottages or in windows.
There isn't a washer and dryer available for the cottages. There is a laundry mat in Sturgeon Bay that our guests have been using for years during their vacations in Door County. It's called Ship Shape Laundry and is located about 3 miles from us at 828 Egg Harbor Rd #1228, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.

This Cottage is located on about 1-acre waterfront property.
A picnic table and charcoal grill are available for use. We don't supply the charcoal or lighter fluid.
Park-like yard with swingset, small sandbox and badminton / volleyball net. Kid-friendly.
Dock available.
One of the more incredible sunsets spots in the country! Bring your camera. Rowboats no longer available.
No overnight boat docking: We live on an open waterway called the 'Bay of Sturgeon Bay' and boats can't be tied to the dock overnight due to storms and waves. In addition, the water levels by our dock are very low again this year.
Swimming access, launching kayaks and stand up paddle boarding is available from our dock. We don't have kayaks, paddleboards or canoes but you're welcome to bring yours along or rent them from a local business in Sturgeon Bay called Bay Shore Outfitters.
