Relax in this well appointed two bedroom, two bath home tucked in the Boreal Forest on the Lake Michigan shore in the heart of the quiet side of Door County. The home is located about 6 miles (10 minutes) from Baileys Harbor, 9 miles (15 minutes) from Sister Bay or Ephraim and 14 miles (20 minutes) from Fish Creek. The home is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops, hiking trails, parks and other local attractions.

Outside, enjoy the view from the benches or hammocks along the shoreline, or while sitting on the large deck at the front of the house. Or maybe roast marshmallows around the campfire. With a little luck, you might see a pelican, a bald eagle, a pileated woodpecker, or a seagull dive for a fish. A two-person kayak and two paddle boards are included to explore the lake. If you just want to cool off in the lake, make sure to bring your water shoes; the bedrock beach is rocky.

The open great room features large patio doors and windows looking out to the Cana Island lighthouse and Lake Michigan. The patio doors open onto a large deck bordering the front of the home. On cool nights, enjoy the wood burning fireplace too! The couch, oversized chair and other seating provide ample seating for conversation or watching a movie on the 55" flat screen TV with a variety of streaming services or the Blu-Ray player. The couch and oversized chair convert to a queen and single bed if you need. These pullout beds are comfortable - really; no springs or support bars to stick into your back! There is a large cabinet that holds a wide selection of games, puzzles, movies, and books.

Adjoining the great room is the dining area with a table seating six comfortably.

The dining area opens into a fully equipped kitchen; electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and all the equipment you might need. A charcoal grill is available for barbecuing as well (charcoal and lighter fluid supplied).

Set in a beautiful wooded lot this unique 2,026 sq ft home will make you feel welcome. With covered decks, screen porch, natural wood burning stone fireplace with sunken seating, and accents of natural cedar with rustic charm and elegance.

Two bedrooms: One downstairs with queen bed and private deck looking out to Lake Michigan. The second upstairs with a king size bed. The first floor bedroom opens onto a private deck with great views of Lake Michigan.

The great room has huge picture windows looking out to the lake and a Panoramic door leading from the great room into the covered screen deck. A very comfortable king size sofa sleeper and armchairs are located in the great room to both take advantage of the view and enjoy the TV and BluRay player. There is also a game table in this room, a variety of board games, movies and books are available for your use. The great room also has a wood-burning fireplace with sunken seating area.

Overlooking the great room is a loft with a full size sofa-sleeper and seating looking out the front windows to the lake. Great place to sit, relax and read a book.

Off the great room is a dining room with table seating 8. The dining room also opens up to the screened deck area.

The kitchen is full equipped: Refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker, Gas range and electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Coffee maker and other common small appliances are provided. The cabinet is stocked with typical staple items for your use.

There are two bathrooms: The first floor bathroom has a tub/shower and the upstairs bath a shower. Towels and washcloths are provided as well as travel shampoo and soap.

- "We had a wonderful week at Wild Cedars. This was our first time to stay on the Lake Michigan side of the peninsula and everyone loved it. Wild Cedars was the perfect house and location for our multi-generational group-- ages 17-74. In addition to a beautiful decor, the house is fully equipped and offered all the supplies that we needed for our week there. We did most of our own cooking and were delighted to find pots & pans, every imaginable kitchen tool, serving dishes, dinnerware and even basic seasonings in the cupboards. The screen porch was my favorite place to linger. With a view of the lake through the trees and breezes off the water it was a perfect read, rest and talk with family members. I especially appreciated Steve's quick responses to all of my questions prior to our stay and during. I couldn't have asked for quicker or more clear responses - - thank you. This, 2 bedroom 1000 square foot home, is only 35 feet off the Bay of Green Bay, was built mid- year 2018. The setting is picturesque and tranquil. The first floor of this 2 story home features a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes and cookware, a dining area, a half bath and a living room that looks out to the Bay of Green Bay.

The Beach House is next door to the LLC Owner's residence. Both homes are shown in the first photo in the photo stream.

The living room has a 44 inch flat screen television and a blue ray DVD player with an antenna for local stations or streaming TV thru Roku using your account log-in. There are games and jigsaw puzzles provided.

Door County had experienced historically high water in 2020 that caused the waterfront to be in constant flux. Water has dropped a couple of feet since the high water peak. The water varies on any given day and throughout a single day from being completely calm to stunning, waves that crash on the shore. The waves and wind direction may impact beach access. In late April 2020, rip rap was installed to restore and preserve the shoreline. due to the high water at that time. Swimming is at your own risk. A private dock with a bench is included. However, strong storms in the spring and the fall typically limit the dock on the water from Mid May thru Mid September. Due to unpredictable weather conditions the dock is not suitable for mooring water craft. Pictures were updated to show a view from the dock and from the shore to show the improvements.

There are no outside security cameras anywhere on the Beach House property.

However, there is an outside security camera at the host's personal residence located next door to the Beach House. The outside security camera is attached to their deck that captures the host's personal dock and personal boat/boat lift on the water, and the guest parking space.

This cabin is cleaned using CDC guidelines and extra cleaning protocols to ensure you a worry-free stay, ready for relaxation and enjoyment. The open-concept house features walnut-stained logs complimented by white kitchen cabinetry and soft LED lighting. The one-story structure is updated with new vinyl tile flooring and carpet throughout. The bathroom is bright with a walk-in, full-size seated shower and a generous single sink vanity. A laundry closet located across from the bathroom offers a washer and dryer for visitors' use.

This home, lovingly titled “The Quilted Log”, is decorated with several handmade scrappy quilts which the owner and her sister designed and sewed, hoping you enjoy the personal touch.

The Quilted Log comfortably accommodates 4-6 people . There are two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, and the living room with a new, full-size, pull-out love seat to sleep 2 more. The dining and living rooms each have ample seating for 6.

The cabin features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 12-cup coffeemaker, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and electric range, but no dishwasher (requiring one to go back to the good old days!) The dining room features a unique castle-looking chandelier above the table. Windows allow for viewing all sides of the yard. The living room stone fireplace features a glowing ambience from its electric log insert. Two comfy rocker/recliners, an old-fashioned wooden rocker, a cushioned pull-out love seat, and a unique quilted arm chair allow one to enjoy the feel of "sitting by the fire."

The Smart TV offers local networks, Wisconsin Public Television, the Create channel, and several old movie channels. The TV accepts your Netflix, Roku accounts, etc. for further choices. Otherwise, station choices are limited by whatever the antenna can receive. For your convenience, the cabin has wireless Mi-Fi connection to the internet, although with a slow speed.

The Quilted Log is not air conditioned, but the full-thickness logs act as great insulators against hot and humid conditions. The 7-1/2" log thickness also allows for cozy warmth amidst winter cold.

This lovely Door County cabin is a beautiful home located in the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. It sits on 3-1/2 wooded acres in a secluded, but not remote location. The entire cabin is available to our guests. There are two bedrooms, with very comfortable queen sized beds. The skylight and large windows in the cabin means that the space is always full of sunlight. We have a lovely, huge firepit on the property for your use and there is a flame view propane stove in the living room for those cool evenings. The cabin has central heating and central air conditioning. We are pet friendly. We want guests to be aware that this is a heavily wooded location -- so lovely and private. But there are critters in the woods -- we see deer very often. That means there is a possibility you may have squirrels or other small critters walking across the roof or yard. We have a company called Mosquito Squad spray the acreage with pet and people friendly spray to keep mosquito and tick populations down -- and our guests tell us that it works very well!

This equestrian estate has a very private setting with acres of lush landscape. White fences surround the grassy pastures. The water fountain dances on the private pond. Watch the beautiful sunrise over the cedars. Enjoy an afternoon of watching the horses, ponies, mini highlanders, mini horses, chickens and cows graze and play. See the deer and geese wandering in the pastures. Take in the colorful sunsets while sitting by your own private fire pit (wood provided).

The beautifully furnished living quarters is a very large studio apartment. There is a new king size bed and 2 twin log beds. An Amish built table and dining chairs have views of the indoor arena. Kitchenette has an under-counter refrigerator, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, coffee pot, sink, dishes and utensils. All linens and towels provided. The private bathroom has a shower and new vanity with a stone countertop. There is a TV mounted over the electric fireplace and free high-speed wireless internet.

What you can experience at the stable: Daily feedings of the horses, ponies, cows, and chickens; gathering of the chicken eggs; the animals strolling out to their pastures in the morning and returning to their stalls each evening, mucking stalls, feeding treats, playing with the cats, petting the animals.

If you prefer, room darkening curtains to the living quarters can be pulled to provide privacy.

The stable animals are awake and expecting their first feeding around 7 am. We will be as quiet as possible! Please note the living quarters are attached to the stable and you may hear some activity.

Important: For your safety, we ask that you mind the animals, riders, farm equipment, fencing, etc. Permission and supervision are required to access the indoor riding arena.

- "This was a truly unique experience: a working stable with an attached apartment, with windows looking directly into the stable! Got to meet the horses and cows and give them treats. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Property is expansive and secluded, but close to many nearby attractions. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and attractive. Might just mention it is probably best suited to morning people, as being a working stable there is activity that starts early in the morning. Luckily, we are very sound sleepers, and found any disturbance minimal. All in all, thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended!"

Overall:
The Panorama is nicely decorated, super clean, has a view of the water from every room. It is ranch style...everything all on one floor. Bedrooms, living room, hallway are carpeted. There are plenty of pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. Beds are made before you arrive.

Outside:
The private park-like setting features a picnic table, Weber charcoal grill and Weber Gas grill bonfire circle on the beach.

- "The Panorama was just perfect for a Door County vacation. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities one could ask for. The wooded, bay front location was perfect for hanging out at the cabin, and situated so that you can get everywhere on the peninsula with enough time to enjoy the scenery before reaching your destination. The owners provided books, games, cd players, a tv (which wasn't turned in once!), fishing poles, travel guides and suggestions for healthcare, dining, shopping, activities, etc. The owners were extremely responsive when we encountered a hornet's nest beneath the front porch. A handyman responded within minutes, and pest control followed up the next day. We can't recommend the Panorama highly enough, and look forward to our next stay!!"

Located on 5 acres less than a mile from the absolute center of Door County, our dog friendly home with a fenced yard is perfect for those who want peace and quiet without having to sacrifice all the spectacular restaurants, wineries, beaches, trails and beloved tourist spots our area has to offer. We have two master bedroom suites with king sized beds and en-suite baths in each room. There is a separate entry for the second bedroom from the front porch. Relax in the sunroom enjoying epic sunsets!! The perfect escape for everyone. Our house is less than 10 minutes from both Egg Harbor on Green Bay to the west and Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan to the east. Kayak rentals and tours, as well as grocery stores, are also less than 10 minutes away.

"Plum Retreat" is a private, and cozy-and-yet-spacious portion of an adorable cottage hiding behind an ornate garden gate, and sleeps 2-6 guests over two levels. The property is part of the picturesque "Green Gables" property in the north part of Ephraim, and is within easy walking distance to galleries, shops, mini-golf, breakfast and pizza, and a short drive from Ephraim village and the water. Green Gables itself has the flavor of a romantic bygone Americana era, and boasts beautiful manicured and award-winning gardens and additionally (in the past, and in the future!) another very large enclosed rear garden area (currently under exciting development). The property is suitable for couples or families and at night it's dark and quiet for stargazing. The house oozes feel-good charm, with lots of windows and natural light, architectural details, and plenty of space indoors and out, to play and relax in. Outside there's a fantastic patio lounge area and professional grill to enjoy, and inside a formal fireplace invites you to curl up on the sofa-bed (with an old record playing on the vintage stereo/record player)? This is a newly constructed small, energy efficient home. It is bright and clean and cozy all at the same time. Guest have their own half bath but the luxury full
bath and double shower is shared. Everything is spotlessly clean. Guest have their own fresh linens and even their own bath matt to step out of the shower onto. I do not travel much and I live in my home and will be here as your host most always. I am a very accommodating host that will respect your privacy.

The space
Bright and airy. Open. Spotless. This home sleeps two in the guest bedroom and two more can crash on the oversized sofa, (extra guest fees apply of course).

During your stay
Sometimes I will not be around much at all but I do spend most nights in my home. Your privacy is of utmost importance but friendly and helpful interaction seems to be the norm with my guest thus far.

The shower seems to be a huge hit. It has two shower heads and tons of room for two.
The house is spotless and sanitized between guest. The ice maker is always full!

In the heart of Fish Creek, above our bustling Hat Head shop, enjoy your stay in our newly remodeled second story studio loft. Complete with studio bedroom, bath, kitchen with new appliances, sitting room, and private balcony deck. Enjoy walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, Peninsula State Park, and more. Close to the action, yet a great hideaway for privacy and relaxation. Bright and cheery, modern, simply stated, and clean. For adult single or couple. (Sorry no pets or kids).

The space
To make sure this is the right fit for you, please note we have a few restrictions:
No Pets
No Kids or Adults under the age of 21
No more than 2 adults who share a bed (we do not have a sofa or any other sleeping arrangements)
No Smoking or Vaping (inside, on the deck, or on premise)
No Grilling (on the deck or on premise)

Please know that this is above a busy retail shop that is open daily April - December, and on the weekends January - March. You may hear a bit of noise from below during operating hours, but nothing out of the ordinary. Also, my husband and I are often at work before and after hours, but are quiet and considerate.

This is a studio apartment, meaning it is an open layout where the bedroom does not have a private door. The bed is next to a window facing the main drag in Fish Creek. With your windows open, you will hear noise from the street below, but is loudest and busiest during the daytime hours.

Our loft is on a second floor with a private outdoor entrance and private parking. You must be able to climb stairs. The stairs and deck are not covered, so they are exposed to the weather elements. In the winter, we plow the parking lot and keep the walk and stairs shoveled and salted. The outdoor deck faces a newly paved and landscaped parking lot owned by the Town of Gibraltar, for boat trailers and general parking.

We have an eclectic, oddly shaped bathroom, long and narrow, which lends to a small stand-up shower. It may be a tight squeeze for very tall or very large people. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kleenex, and hairdryer.

Our kitchen includes a full-sized fridge with freezer, stovetop, dishwasher, filtered water faucet, microwave, and toaster. We have two coffee makers - a single cup Kuerig with complimentary k-cups, as well as a drip coffee maker with complimentary grounds, filters, and sugar. We are stocked with pots, pans, knives, utensils, dishes, glassware, cutting board etc. We have salt and pepper, napkins, paper towels and garbage bags. The only big thing we're missing is an oven. We also have limited counter space.

We have a secure high-speed Wi-Fi internet service. There is a flat screen HD TV in the bedroom. It has access to cable as well as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and more, with your own account login.

We have a small but mighty wall-mounted air conditioning/ heating unit that keeps the place nice and cool in the summer, and nice and toasty in the wintertime. In the wintertime, we also have baseboard heat and a Duraflame space heater for extra warmth. There are lots of windows that all open up, and on cooler days, you get great breezes and cross ventilation throughout the loft.

We are practicing all suggested guidelines for our business, and doing the same for this apartment. We are taking extra care to sanitize the place and have it super clean and safe for your stay.

This building has been in my husband's family for 35 years. Over the summers, we have lived in this apartment as have long-term renters. We affectionately called it "The Treehouse" because it was our cozy, lofted sanctuary.

In 2021, we fixed it up with brand new everything and became year-round AirBnB hosts. This being our only rental, we do much of the maintaining and cleaning ourselves and take great care in offering a wonderful stay for guests. We are located in walking distance to awesome Bar n Grills, restaurants and to the the famous Steal bridge.

Other things to note
Parking is in the rear of the Candy Store , You can park anywhere back there except in front of the delivery door. Along the brick wall of the Vacuum store is the easiest place. There is free overnight parking across the street from back parking area.

Walking distance to downtown which is filled with quaint shops/delightful restaurants. Close to Maritime Museum and the Sawyer Boat Launch. We have no TV.

The space
Small two bed-room house located walking distance from Downtown Sturgeon Bay. Place is about 700 sq of living space. View of Downtown Bridges and water. Great place for boaters as you are 1000 Feet from Sawyer Boat Launch. We also have Professionals Clean and Professional Laundry after every guest stay to ensure the cleanest possible stay. No TV. Plan accordingly if you are interested in watching TV. There is a bar around the corner if you want to watch Sports. Place is called Kitty O’Reilys.

Guest access
You have access to the whole house, yard and garage. Backyard is great when the sun goes down and the city lights up. Basement has a drying space to dry your wet clothes from boating or anything else that can't go in the dryer. Also great place to watch for rainbows over the water after a afternoon rain. Garage is empty and ready for your full use for Boats or Kayaks. Can park your car inside if you like. There are light switches inside garage for inside and outside garage lights. No pets are allowed inside the home at any time.

Other things to note
There is a power line that connects the house with electricity. This is considered normal. There is a power pole at the end of driveway as well. The power line by state law is required to by 14' above the ground. There are steps in back bedroom to assist you to the bed if you require. Neenah Ave is a busy road. This can be a turn-off for some people. You do hear cars driving by the house. While in the back yard the street noise is reduced and you can enjoy the view. Window AC unit in living room only. Please be advised, we do not have Central Air in the house. We do charge $115 for cleaning per stay. We proudly pay a living wage for our area. We also have No Television.

Located in one of the best locations in Door County: Sister Bay. Walk to downtown Sister Bay where a wide range of dining, beach, shopping, and other Door County adventures await. This place is great for couples or small families looking to be in the middle of the action! Also great for Yoga practitioners looking for heated and non-heated classes…right next door.

The space
Clean and roomy. Large one-floor open concept space next-door to Ironwood Yoga (same building). Roughly 1000 SQF. Updated full bath with shower. Full kitchen is a great addition. The king bed is a Casper and it is very comfy. The second bed is a brand new queen size bed with a memory foam mattress that is also crazy comfortable.

Full Disclosure: There is an apartment above this space and sounds can be heard at various times during the day. If you are looking for extreme quiet you may want to look elsewhere. Most sounds can be mitigated with white noise apps or the AC. We provide the use of a Bluetooth JBL Flip speaker should you want to listen to music.

Guest access
Guests can access the unit from the parking lot of Ironwood Yoga. You will get a set of keys for the period of your stay. There are three steps up to the unit and there is no ramp.

Other things to note
The staircase in the pick don't lead to an upper level. It is walled off.

The space
This sweet little space has all the amenities of your own apartment/home just scaled down to fit into just shy of 400 square feet!

While the space is small and cozy and located in an alley, we have tried hard to create an oasis within the boundaries of our property line. You can relax by a fire or simple sit and enjoy night sky in the courtyard that is strung with colored lights and comfy chairs. Or take a stroll down to the waters edge (morning or night) just a few short blocks away. We encourage our guests to enjoy the courtyard by the fire ring and if we are down there, you are always welcome to join us.

Please note that the bedroom and bathroom are like tiny house living. The bedroom does fit a queen size bed and room to walk around on either side along with space for luggage and anything that needs to be hung. The bathroom has been referred to as a European sized bathroom. There is a full tiled shower with a seat to allow for more head room as the space is as unique as the old carriage house itself. Tall folks (6' +) just be aware, it may be more comfortable to sit and shower than stand.

1.) Take the business district exit (veer right by Walgreens) go down Madison Ave, follow Madison Ave over the Steel bridge (Madison Ave changes to Michigan once on the east side).

2.) You'll come to a stop sign at 3rd Ave and Michigan go straight through for 100 or so feet, turn LEFT immediately AFTER Door County Vacuum and before Stangel Accounting

3.) We are the two stall garage (the only garage in the ally) on your left with wood vertical siding. If you've past the US Postal Box, you've gone 50 feet to far.

4.) Pull into one of the two empty spots directly behind the garage/carriage house, doors are painted a yellow and light greenish color. Please do not pull into the large gravel parking lot, that is not our property and the owner gets grumpy! :)

5.) Walk around the building to the courtyard, the door to the left is the entrance!

If you go over the Oregon Street bridge instead of the steel bridge turn left at the stop sign onto third Avenue take a right at the next stop sign on Michigan and take your immediate left into the alley which is flanked by Stangel Accounting and Door County Vacuum.

This home is on the snowmobile and atv trails. Close to fishing hot spots, Jellystone Campground, Potawatomi State Park, Carmody Park to launch your boat, & Haines Beach.

Plenty of room to park your Atv or boat.

Dogs are allowed with a $99 pet fee per stay. Please make sure to include them in your reservation.

The space
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home. The first floor contains the living room, kitchen and full bathroom. In the living room there is a pull out sleeper sofa. Upstairs there is a small nook with a desk, washer & dryer and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has full bunk beds with a twin trundle bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed.

We have a fire pit and charcoal grill. You provide your own wood and charcoal.
