Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 6 bedroom/ 5 bath geodesic domes home sitting on an almost 2 acre lot. Words and pictures can hardly describe this truly magical home. The house itself is an absolute gem -truly a once in a lifetime home that the famous architect - Buckminster Fuller, himself - has actually been in before. An architectural dream that will make any old square house seem like a bore.

The yard and landscaping is unbeatable and includes frog ponds, waterfalls, streams and bridges. Many who come over, while they are sitting outside on the patio listening to the frogs croak and watching the willows blow in the breeze - tell me that the the last thing they would guess is that they are in a suburb of Minneapolis - rather that they are in a resort in the north woods.

The amazing part of the domes is that once you walk out of our hidden fortress, you come out to a city with all you could ever need and within a 5 minute walk you could find yourself sipping a refreshing slushy at Bryant Lake Regional State park which has a FREE fantastic beach, park, hiking trails, Frisbee Disc Golf and more! Rent a paddle boat or go hiking on the nature trails.....this park has it all.

Now onto the house!

Let me just start out by telling you that you haven't played the best game of hide n' seek until you've played in this house. Oh the nooks and crannies are so fascinating and fun! Again, the pictures just don't do it justice.

When you walk in the front door you are greeted with a view like no other. You see the curved wall, the beautiful kitchen and the window formation that will simply take your breath away. As you peek further you notice what appears to be the other dome and you just can't wait to go exploring! Don't forget your Harry Potter map, because you might just get lost! ;)

As you enter the kitchen you will soon realize that it is perfect for dining and it is equipped with everything you might need. It has a brand new Viking gas range, new dishwasher, new kitchen sink and faucets, new double oven and microwave, and a huge fridge. Seating for dining is located with the table in the kitchen itself, four barstools and the kitchen island or head over to our Italian- made glass table in the dining room.

If you feel like heading up the spiral staircase in dome 1 which you access from the living room (which is furnished with everything you would need including a 3 sided wood burning fireplace and all the wood you could ever ask for).... you will reach the Master suite.
The main/master bedroom has a nice temperpedic king sized bed and the bathroom has a large European soaking tub.

This home is full of love and life. Down in dome 2 we have a mother in law kitchen - full of board games and even a mini stage for talent shows and performances!

Guests can enjoy an afternoon of fun and relaxing by the waterfalls and streams (excludes winter) or perhaps enjoy yourself 3 season porch and listen to the frogs sing, feel the breeze come through.... it's truly a slice of heaven.

The home is also equipped with a work out room with an exercise bike, MIRROR, free weights, many mirrors and ballet and pull-up bars.

Play golf? Try to golf in our hallway putting green...... this place has it all. There's also 2 excellent public golf courses within a ten minute drive.

This house is perfect for families or company retreats. It offers tons of space to hang out, sleep, inside and out!

Here is the bedroom breakdown.

The master bedroom in dome 1 has a king size bed.

The other 5 bedrooms are in dome 2. The guest suite is the only bedroom on the main floor while all the other bedrooms are on the 3rd/upper floor. The guest suite has an attached bathroom with a shower. The other four bedrooms are above that guest suite.
The Tree Room has one queen bed. The Peony Room has one king and one full bed. The Bear Room has one queen and the Fairy Room as two queens. Each of these four bedrooms does have a loft that can hold more sleepers with airmatresses or just good old blankets and pillows for the kids.

The backyard has a tiki bar and dining set. Note: The pool you see in the pic is a man-made pond, NOT a swimming pool. The back acre has a large area for tents, chairs, a football game, group bonding activities, etc.

This house is a gem that's too good to just keep to ourselves. We want to share it with the world!

From start to finish she was available and very kind, everything you could possibly need she has at the house, she has thought of everything!! If you are considering a family vacation anywhere in this area DONT SKIP on this one, it’s perfect."

This is a unit in the lower level of my Eden Prairie home.
I do reside upstairs. Occasionally I rent out the upstairs.No ammenities are shared.
It is on a wooded lot which backs up to the Bent Creek Golf course.
There are 2 private entrances with a lock box. An inside door separates the owner unit from the rental unit.
There is a 100 foot pathway around the house and to the unit, that has a slight slope . This is shoveled in the winter, but boots are advised.
The backyard is very private, and has deer, wild turkeys and birds
Teenagers and kids love, the Wii, trampoline and searching for golf balls in my woods.
It is 20 minutes to the Mall of America. Downtown, Lake Minnetonka, the airport and 10 minutes from Paisley Park and Grace Church. There are 4 beaches within 10 minutes, 2 with boat launches.
There are numerous bike and walking trails within minutes.

I have dishes,glassware,pots and pans, cookware, barware, flatware, paper products, etc.
There is a round table that has 6 chairs and a folding table with 6 additional chairs. There is also a card table and 4 folding chairs.

The sitting room with a desk, sofa bed, 2 chairs and a single and queen air mattress doubles as the 3rd bedroom.

Large bedroom with king-sized bed, chair, large picture window and door to the deck, with lock and key on the outside and inside door.

Second bedroom with full sized bed, a large built in desk, and lock and key on inside door.

There is a pack and play with sheets.

Large 3/4 bath with a movable shower head.

Private Laundry/ Utility room with a new washer and dryer, iron, ironing board and laundry detergent.

I have children's books and toys
I supply hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry soap, coffee (k cups and ground), water, snacks ,granola bars, coffee creamer salt, pepper and spices, and cooking spray. There is also firewood and lighters.
You will find foil, saran wrap garbage bags , napkins ,paper plates and baggies.

- "The host was absolutely fantastic. She was very friendly and had amazing communication and was extremely helpful. The place was super comfortable for our large group of 12. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Hot tub was very nice to relax in. The host made it a very special stay with little touches like having a s’mores kit set up and water available. The upstairs kitchen and dining room is quite large and the snack bar is great for the kiddos. The host had lots of toys for the kids and several baby friendly appliances such as a play pen and high chair. There were a few things to note about our stay experience: 1. The 5th bedroom is attached to the downstairs bathroom and you have to walk through the 5th bedroom to get to the other two bedrooms that are down there. 2. The owner of the property lives in the upstairs of the house and clears out if you rent out the entire house. When we stayed, there was a mishap where a lot of food was left in the upstairs fridge, which meant we had to carry all our food up from the basement fridge. Not a big deal, but would have been more convenient to use the upstairs fridge since we use that kitchen and dining for all of our meals. 3. The back yard needed some maintenance as the weeds had kind of taken over. This would have made getting down to the trampoline in the back yard and use of the fire pit a bit easier/more enjoyable. Overall, a good place to stay, but would recommend it for a group of less than 9 adults."

- "Reviews on here confirm what the house is like. Great location and neighborhood but the house has been lived in hard. - "Excellent service" - "I was under the impression that booking through Vrbo I would be booking a privately owned property. In reality it was a hotel room. I have to admit I was sick when I booked this and didn’t properly research the property. That being said, it was a cute place. I felt safe there by myself, and it was very clean. My only complaints are that the TV was not a smart TV (first world problems), and the pool area was cold, making me not want to use the pool. Overall, I had a nice stay. "
