- "This was my first trip down to eureka and out of the many options of places to stay, I’m so glad I picked this one. David and his wife were extremely helpful, hospitable, and nice. They worked with my multiple food allergies to make sure I could eat a good breakfast, which was very delicious. The house was gorgeous and they had a nice big patio/yard full of comfy chairs and couches. At night, lights would turn on out back so we could sit out there and enjoy the peacefulness and nice weather. Inside the room they had left us a few fresh, homemade sugar cookies. The bed was very soft and they brought new towels and changed the sheets daily. The whole house was very clean and we felt safe to stay there. David and his wife were very informative about the house and town. Overall the whole experience was amazing and we will definitely be coming back in the future."

- "This was the first time we have stayed at a bed and breakfast in general so i didn’t quite know what all to expect! However, John runs this place beautifully!! When we arrived at the property no one was there but the sign on the door told us to give John a call! First he let us know about a last minute cancellation and that they had upgraded us from a suite to the beautiful Slumber Hill Cottage! Even though he was not there to show us around he was very thorough over the phone which was nice as it left me with no further questions! We were able to enjoy even a rainy evening outside because there was a covered porch deck! We even saw some deer passing by! The next morning John delivered breakfast straight to our door at exactly the time we requested ! Coffee, juice, bananas with cinnamon and a delicious quiche for each of us! Truly a treat! We travel to eureka springs quite frequently but i know next time hidden springs will be top of our list of places to stay!! Thank you again for a wonderful quick birthday trip for my husband! "

- "I just loved this entire experience. The property is in a beautiful setting on many acres in the country. The owners love their home and it shows. They have filled their huge property with beautiful flowers and trees and many bird feeders. Sitting on the front porch watching the humming birds is so relaxing. The bed was the most comfortable I ever slept in- best sleep I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast is amazing. It was different each morning, all freshly prepared, homemade recipes. You can smell it being prepared while you sit on the front porch watching the humming birds. It is in a great location 20 to 30 minutes from some of the most beautiful national parks and state and national forests. Beautiful lakes with hiking trails. I was so pleasantly surprised. I came for a long weekend just to check the box and knock another National Park off my list. I will be back many times. It is simply a gorgeous area. Let me address the comment somebody made about the house being isolated and the driveway being difficult to maneuver. The driveway is maybe 1/8 mile long. It is beautifully maintained like everything else on the property. It’s a gravel driveway like many in rural areas, but there are no sharp rocks as another guest claimed. I would have driven my Ferrari down that driveway. The same guest made a comment about the distance to things. The drive to the property is beautiful, through farmlands, and horse ranches with the beautiful Arkansas hills in the background. The house is only 20 to 30 minutes to amazingly beautiful things to do. My drive to work every day is much longer than that. Whoever wrote that one bad review must not have actually stayed at the property. I would highly recommend this beautiful place."

Staying at the Beard and Lady Inn is like stepping back in time. Surrounded by the Ozarks, this 130+ year old building was restored in 2020 keeping its historic charm. There are 11 guest rooms themed around a human fear or experience, a dining hall, kitchen, mercantile store, and convention hall with stage. It sits in the peaceful town of Chester, AR across from the blue water of Clear Creek, minutes from Lake Fort Smith, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, a passenger train ride and UTV trails.

Each of our 11 guest rooms is designed around a common fear or human experience. Rosy's Room is based on our friend's life, Rosy Alexander, who was born in Nepali, raised in Canada, and lives in the US now. It is a reflection on the immigrant experience and the courage it requires to adapt in different environments while challenging, reinterpreting, and reconnecting with our roots. Not only was the room inspired by Rosy's roots, but Rosy is an interior designed and designed the room. The room has a King bed and is perfect for 1-2 guests looking to find solace in distant and peace-filled land right in the heart of America.

The inn has 11 cozy private rooms upstairs which are furnished in antique décor. The rooms include one suite with its own private bathroom and a large second suite with a kitchenette. All rooms have shared access to 8 toilets (6 upstairs and 2 down) and 6 showers. Downstairs is a dining hall, kitchen, mercantile store, convention hall with stage, outdoor patio, stream with two bridges, and outdoor patios. The dining hall is where guests and the public will have shared access to eat. The mercantile styled apothecary shop is where you’ll find Beard and Lady goods, our own line of apothecary-inspired personal care and grooming products, as well as handmade products made by local artisans. The convention hall can be rented for events and live music. The inn is famous among locals, travelers, and Hollywood directors for its supernatural past, endurance through disaster, and history of American railroad grit.

"Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. And lo, no one was there." This quote was carved into a mantle of another historic Inn. I first read it the night that my husband proposed to me. I have learned and lived by this. When fear creeps up and knocks I muster all my courage, sometimes I really am still really scared however I have found that when I simply open the door by faith darkness and fear are dispelled. This has taught me so many lessons but one big one is that we are haunted by many things all kinds of things. We are terrified of what someone may say about us on the internet, the opinions of our neighbors, taking in the stranger, we worry about our children or evening having children, and then we worry about growing old and our children growing older- the list goes on. These fears are not a physical monster on the other side of the wall or walking down the hall, but they are ideas that we let hide in our minds that we allow to keep us keep us scared. Here at the Beard and Lady we have decorated our rooms inspired by fears we have faced or are overcoming. We ask each guest to join us bravely. One of the ways I have faced my own fear is simply by saying it out loud, writing it down or even confessing to a friend. While you stay, we ask that depending on your room you would dive into the full experience with us. Each room will have a writing prompt and stamps. Please be prepared for our ask of sending a letter or post card. Sounds scary right? Are you ready to be totally freaked out?....... Leave your phone at the door and face your inner fears.

The space:
Harvest House (now RISEeureka Bed & Breakfast) was built in 1882 and around 1984 became the first bed and breakfast of Eureka Springs.

You’ll have a private entrance, private en-suite with Jacuzzi tub for 2 (includes handheld shower unit), cast iron fireplace and sweet bay window to watch the deer in the yard and beautiful sunsets.

We offer full access to a separate, shared dining patio/lounge area surrounded by woodscape views for vacation comradery, including 24/7 access to coffee (french press, kettle and coffee pot), tea, snacks, games, microwave and refrigerator. You will have a key to your private room and one to the dining patio. The enclosed dining patio is located on the right side of the house, and you will need your key to enter.

Bigfoot Hideout is located in the heart of the Boston Mountains off Historic Highway 71. We are a nature-friendly and family-oriented Guesthouse and welcome guests in our laid-back common areas. Our unique traveling interaction is part of the experience as we treat our guests as friends and family.

The room has a separate entrance and a private bathroom, and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, and more!

This room is great for up to 2 adults and 2 children. Pls dont exceed the number of adults or kids.

The “Coffee Shop” lounge is where you meet others, and offers working space, board games, books, and all the extras you need for a meaningful stay.

When the weather and fire restrictions allow, join us by the fire! Pull up a chair, we would love to hear your story as we make yummy S`moers.

On the property, explore six acres of woods, hike down the trail to the seasonal creek, and enjoy a beautiful sunset from the picnic area.

Guests are welcome to join our pets, Hockey and Luna, Ragdoll cats, in their outdoor adventures.

Bigfoot Hideout is not a “Roadside” Motel and is a Smoke-free property, which means not in the rooms and not outside.

Our outdoor Guesthouse built with social interaction in mind. We respect people's need for rest and relaxation, either before a big hike or just as part of their getaway, so we have implemented quiet hours from 10 pm to 9 am.

We are on septic, please only throw the provided hygienic paper in the toilet. All the others go to the trash basket.

Our "toys," such as tractor, four-wheeler, kayaks etc. are for staff use only.

This lovely spacious cottage is located between Harrison and Jasper near the Ozark National Forest. Swimming and floating are a short distance away at the Buffalo National River along with numerous hiking trails in the area to explore. The cottage is spacious and has a large covered patio and an adjacent firepit to lounge around and enjoy the sunset over Gaither Mountain.
The cottage is located in a fantastic area for motorcyclists and has excellent dark skies for the star gazers!

Constructed in 2019 and (newly!) renovated in 2024, The Emerald Cottage is a tiny-home jewel!
Complete with kitchen, shower, two toilets, dual bathroom vanity sink, and beds for 9 adults (plus room for 2 kids/teens in sleeping bags!).

There is NEW dedicated fiber optic WIFI at the cottage and two more beds added in January, 2024. Yay!

There is a full-size washing machine and dryer, with hypoallergenic soap sheets provided, and a clothes steam iron.

The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, portable cook-top, microwave, electric skillet, rice-cooker, coffee bar, toaster, waffle-maker with waffle mix, dishwasher, and a full set of dishes and cookware.
We provide BREAKFAST items, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks!
There is indoor dining space for 6-8, and space for 12 in the Picnic Pavilion.

One loft has a Queen bed and the other loft has 2 Twin XL beds with a 3rd inflatable mattress, available upon request.
The common area features two amazing CouchBed brand flip-down convertible couch/twin beds, as well as an upper loft with 2 Twin XL beds.

*If your party has 11 people, and 2 of those are children, you can fit 2 kids in sleeping bags on either side of the queen bed in the Queen loft.*

All the fully-encased mattresses are safe and comfortable, so sleep serenely with peace of mind.

There is an outdoor seating area with a propane grill and an open fire pit. And also a covered, open-air Pavillion with picnic tables, outdoor games and a second fire pit. You may bring your own or gather free kindling on property for the fire pits.
NEVER LEAVE FIRE OR GRILL UNATTENDED.

We also have a 100" screen, projector, Blu-ray Player and SoundBar for movie nights!

ATTENTION Moms and Dads!
We have a cleaned Pack and Play available for use, upon request. Bring your own sheets. Travel light! :-)

Pets are welcomed for a $50 fee and MUST be announced as part of the original booking.
All pets must be crated (we have crates) or in the available outdoor dog-run when left unattended.
Please contact us, first, if you have more than 2 pets visiting with you.
IF there is an extra cleaning needed (due to irregular pet hair or just a dirty animal), an added cleaning fee of $125.00, may be due.

Violating house rules will stand as your agreement to any charges outlined above. And violations are grounds for removal from the property without refund.

There is an additional $20 cleaning fee for groups of 6 or more visitors.

Additionally, as there is NO SMOKING of any kind inside The Emerald Cottage, if you smoke or vape inside the Cottage, you will be subject to restoration cleaning fees starting at $524.00.

There is absolutely no drug use, underage drinking or unregistered guests allowed on the property. These are grounds for removal without refund.

Our guest home is fully equipped for living. There is an open living room/kitchen area where you will have access to a state of the art gas range and oven, dish washer, and full sized refrigerator and freezer with ice machine. In the bathroom, you will find a spacious walk-in shower, farm sink, and full sized washer and dryer. Enjoy your streaming services on our 43" flat screen TV with the option of Apple TV. You will have a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom, as well as a pull-out sofa bed in the living room.

The Treehouse has a bike shed w/lock, Bike wash and fire pit available for our guests.

Other things to note
The Treehouse is across the street from the newly completed Airship Pump-house! It is the newest coffee shop in Bentonville.

We also have a locked shed to store bikes while you are visiting!

This charming bed and breakfast is located in the beautiful historic district of town, but is only 10 min from the University of Arkansas-Monticello. The wraparound porch offers peaceful seating areas for you to unwind. Within walking distance from your stay is an authentic Italian restaurant, Bella Luna, boasting a bar and live local music on Fri & Sat nights. Uptown (just a short 3 min drive) you will find numerous restaurants and fun shopping, along with a movie theater and a bowling alley!

The space
This bed and breakfast is owned by The University of Arkansas at Monticello, located at 346 University Drive in Monticello Arkansas. Our Innkeeper, Lorena can help make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
The Trotter house is composed of a first floor that hosts a large dining room, multiple parlors, a main office and large porch with seating, while the second floor hosts all five current guest rooms and a partial wrap around balcony.

Guest access
Please feel free to use the shared spaces as you would in your own home. The kitchen is the perfect place to cook a meal for your family, but the dining area is great for conversations and take-out! If you have the need to do your laundry before leaving, there is a washer and dryer and supplies provided. The downstairs bathroom and parlors are all free to use as needed.

Located in a quiet area of downtown Monticello, The UAM Trotter House is situated across from a small-town church, a newspaper office, and a local bank. This is a great area to just get out and enjoy the neighborhood!

This Garage apartment has the best of both worlds, just a short drive into downtown Eureka Springs and a short walk or drive down our private road to Beaver Lake. This property is a 40-acre paradise. Come swimming, fishing, hiking, or have friends pick you up with their boat in the cove. There is a boat launch at Big Clifty just up the road if you are bringing your own boat. There is camping posted on Hipcamp if traveling with friends.

The space
This apartment has one bedroom with a King bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living space and 2 bunk beds.

Although this is a Kitchenette it has an air fryer/toaster oven with all the muffin tins etc. to bake a nice meal. There is a countertop cooktop for all your cooking needs.

There is a full-size fridge/freezer at the bottom of the stairs to store additional food if cooking in.

There is a grill on the private balcony for you use.

Other things to note
The private lake access road is gravel and steep not recommended for street bikes or low-lying vehicles. It is a nice nature walk.
