Dakota gave us our tour and instantly made us feel welcome! We were on our honeymoon and every staff member made sure to congratulate us and make our stay extra special. Be sure to make dinner reservations as you won't want to miss the exquisite, three entree meal to be served by the most courteous waitstaff in a quaint dining room filled with soft lighting and music. The decor throughout the resort is elegant and unique, obviously selected with great thought and care. You can enjoy a drink in a quiet bar as well as visit the kitchen for complimentary snacks and drinks of great variety at any hour. You will have everything you need in your room including a jacuzzi bathtub, plenty of hot water, candles, mineral salts, and plush robes. We did not have to ask for anything as there were plenty of extra towels and toiletries tucked away in the beautiful full sized bathroom equipped with a great shower and make-up vanity. We unfortunately, did not get to try the spa due to time constraints but toured the area which was very clean and offered an extensive menu of services in which we will surely take full advantage of on our next stay! We didn't want to leave when check-out rolled around but got to meet Carol, the owner who truly cared to know how we felt about our stay. I just cant say enough good things about our amazing experience at Echo Canyon Spa Resort! Enjoy!!"

- "The proper name for this place is”Grandison” not Florence. This made it hard to find. The accommodation is beautiful and handy to the sites to visit. VRBO did not notify the manager that we were coming so getting in was delayed. Once in we were met by friendly Yvonne who made us welcome and made sure everything was okay. Plenty of parking on site. Public transport (street cars) was breeze and helpful staff t the transit centre. Don’t miss the national memorial to pay your respects to The Oklahoma bombing victims."

The space
Magnolia House is a 3800 square foot, nearly 100- year- old, Colonial Revival. It was constructed around the shell of an old farmhouse. The shell was moved to its current location, and the land it sits on was purchased on the authorized signature of a 12-year-old native American boy, the only one of his family who could write.
Nine of my twelve children were brought home from the hospital to this house .

The space
The Council Oak Cottage is the original servants' quarters of the James Alexander Veasey House -- a home on the National Register of Historic Places. The home has been in our family since it was built in 1913 and we are currently in the process of restoring it.

Located directly across the street from the Creek Council Oak Tree, which was the end of the Trail of Tears for the Lochapoka (Muscogee) Creek Native Americans, and Stickball park, you'll be standing right where Tulsa was started as Tallasi (Tvlasse), meaning Old Town.

The cottage is original to the property and was built in 1913 to be used for my great grandparents' the milk cow, Elsie. Later the barn was converted for the brand new Model T Ford. Eventually, the building was converted to a "servant's quarters" where Cherry (the housekeeper and cook) and Clarence (the handyman and gardener) lived until they were able to purchase a home of their own. As African Americans in the early 1900s, they were sadly not entitled to take out loans but were able to purchase a home with support from my great grandparents, and continued to work for the family until retirement. When we undertook the renovation of the property over a decade ago, the cottage still had the original pot-bellied wood stove and iron claw-foot tub.

The modern cottage has a queen bed with memory foam mattress, separate living and dining area and kitchenette with stove/oven, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and kettle. An enclosed garden is perfect for leash-free time with your pets, and there are parks all around for lovely walks. And, the cottage has distressed, stained concrete floors so you don't need to worry about pet damage. ***This is a pet friendly property. If you have pet allergies/concerns, this may not be the right fit for you.***

There is a one-car driveway exclusively for your use. Please respect our neighbors and do not park in any neighboring driveway or parking lots. Violators are subject to being towed and we have no control over that, unfortunately. On street parking is legal right outside the cottage, however we recommend parking on Cheyenne Ave instead to avoid being hit by someone cresting the hill, which has happened.

Please note, there is no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the cottage (this includes marijuana- medical or recreational). But you are welcome to smoke tobacco, marijuana and vapes outside at your own discretion (Oklahoma allows medical marijuana), and there is an ashtray provided for that purpose.

Our cottage is licensed by the City of Tulsa (license #STR20-00001) for short term rental.

Guest access
Keyless entry for easy check-in and no concerns about keeping track of a key! There is a dedicated one-car parking space directly in front of the cottage. No need to check in at the main house, just pull straight in to the driveway (located on 18th street behind the main house) and let yourself in. You'll receive the keypad code upon booking.

Please understand, this cottage was built in 1913. As such, we cannot guarantee the cottage will be dust and insect-free due to the nature of the building materials and original windows. We do our very best to mitigate all of these issues. But these are the joys of old homes! Please don't hesitate to let us know if something needs attention.

If you plan to order food, please tell the delivery driver you are in the cottage at the back. Sat Nav systems don’t usually accept the actual address (1802 1/2 S. Cheyenne Ave) so we provide the main house address for the purpose of this listing. But don't worry if they turn up at our door - we're used to redirecting them.

Our neighborhood is very safe but we recommend bringing any unsecured items from your vehicle (bikes on a bike rack, loose items in a truck bed, etc) inside the fence out of an abundance of caution. This is an urban area with foot traffic and we would hate for anything to go missing.

Please note that this is a pet-friendly Airbnb. We do not recommend booking with us if you have allergies or sensitivities to pet smells. We do our best to keep things fresh and clean but some guests have higher sensitivities that we are not able to account for. Again, if anything needs attention, please do not hesitate to let us know.

We live in the main house with two of our three kids (two sons aged 19 & 21), two cats, and a one-eyed dog. Our guest cabin is set on 20 wooded acres in the Osage Hills at the end of a private gravel road. It feels completely isolated, but it's only 10 minutes to downtown Bartlesville, 20 minutes to Pioneer Woman's Merc, and an hour to Tulsa. There is a full kitchen, living area, and full bath on the ground floor, with a queen and twin bed on the 2nd floor. There is no TV to interfere with the quiet, although WiFi keeps you connected. We live in the main house and are always available if needed.

The space
It feels like you are a million miles away from civilization. The chirping birds will greet you in the morning, and at night you can hear the hoot owl and nightingales. You'll marvel at the inky black skies dotted with stars, without any city lights to dim the beauty. As you relax on the second floor deck outside the bedroom, you'll see deer grazing on the front lawn and perhaps a turkey or two. But it's only a quick 10-minute drive to get to Bartlesville, with its array of dining options and attractions, and only 20 minutes in the opposite direction to get to the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile as well as other Osage highlights. Or head south to Tulsa with its city attractions. Our Cabin in the Woods is truly the best of both worlds!

You can access any part of the 20 acres, including the pond and deck. Do check with us before going out for a hike, so we can describe the limits of the property - there is no fence between us and one of our neighbors.
The mile-long gravel road leading into the property is good for short strolls or runs.

Other things to note
Steep stairs to the bedroom loft may be difficult for some people.
Sleeping arrangements include 1 queen and 1 twin bed upstairs. The couch in the living room folds down into a double size and can be used as an additional sleeping space, suitable for children.
There is no TV, but there is Wifi. Cell phone reception is very good for most service providers.
If you plan to hike the woods, we recommend bringing along long pants, closed shoes, and bug spray.

The pad itself is located on the back right side of the home.
There is a path leading to your privacy fence, open the gate, the well lit path leads you to the pads entrance.

Stay in a bit of Tulsa history, a 1915 renovated carriage house. Modern design in the heart of midtown Tulsa. Completely remodeled with attention to the original design history with modern details.

Sit on the porch and relax. Walk to the many Cherry Street and Utica Square shopping/dinning options just a few blocks away. St. Johns Hospital is 2 blocks away as well. Downtown and the Gathering Place are a short bike ride away. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.

The space
The Swan Lake Spot is a small carriage house located in the side yard of our house. Totally separate from our house. Washer/dryer is located in the garage below the apartment. Our cars are parked in the garage but we do not use the washer/dryer, it is for your use.

When you arrive, park on the the street in the identified spot in the photos, walk up the driveway into the private entrance steps up to the apartment.

Other things to note
The apartment is above our garage, you may hear the doors open and close ans we come and go.

Have an urban experience in quaint, historic Downtown Edmond, OK. This is upstairs urban apartment with lighted courtyard was built in 2017 for this very purpose. Guests walk to the University of Central Oklahoma, The Annual Edmond Arts Festival, Monthly Heard on Hurd Events, The Patriarch Craft Beer House, Jazz Lab Entertainment Venue, Skinny Slim Pub, Evoke and Ellis Island Coffee Houses. Convenient drive to Oklahoma City and Guthrie

The space
This second story apartment is new and stands alone - not connected to any other structure. It is private, but has access to a shared courtyard with fire pit and propane grill. It was designed and furnished to provide the guest an urban experience. It is fully furnished with all amenities guests expect to find in a high-end rental.

Guest access
Guests will have use of the entire apartment. There is also a small courtyard that may be used outdoors. Access is granted with keypad entry.

Other things to note
This apartment is in downtown Edmond, OK. There are trains that run through downtown day and night, however it is in a quiet-zone and no train horns are blown. There is some noise in this urban environment.
There are only 2 parking spaces provided for guests.

This spacious and updated garage apartment is located on a secluded road with ample parking for your boat or trailer. It is in a wooded area with a beautiful sunrise view & offers opportunities to spot deer, turkey, and other wildlife. Enjoy fishing, boating, or nature hikes within about ten miles of the apartment at the Tenkiller State Park, Pine Cove Marina, & Snake Creek Marina. Vian, Cookson Bend Marina, and the Lower Illinois River are within about 15 miles.

The space
The suite features one room with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, one full bathroom, a large closet with a washer and dryer, and a kitchenette with dining area. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker, a countertop oven, and refrigerator. There is also a small crockpot, a two-burner hotplate, an electric skillet, and a George Foreman grill for your use with a charcoal grill located on the front porch.

Guest access
Your vacation apartment has its own entrance and is separate from the main home. It is attached to a garage located to the south of the main home. There is a large area in front of the garage doors for boat or trailer parking. Access to the garage is prohibited.

Other things to note
The apartment has high speed Wifi and a smart TV. We do not have cable. We will provide a starting supply of paper plates, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

If you are looking for accommodations for more guests, we have a main cabin to the north of the studio that will sleep six more persons so the combined areas will sleep a total of ten people. Please reach out to us if you are interested in renting both properties. The cabin and garage apartment are the only two homes on this road so the area is very private. Please note, the cabin may be occupied during your stay by a different party.

The entrance to this unique bungalow is strictly through the alley access. The property has a gate you will have to open and close. There you will find your own parking area conveniently located close to the entrance for easy entry.

This is a detached guesthouse surrounded by a fence on our property. There are no windows or doors facing the main house so you will have complete privacy! We have taken great care to design and renovate this space and we hope that you enjoy it! Please note that the bedroom is up a spiral staircase.
