This darling, clean 700 square foot cottage house sits on 7 acres and is just 15 minutes from OSU campus and 3.5 miles from Lake McMurtry East. Get away from the hustle and bustle and come let us share our slice of heaven with you! Taxes are less out here too - you don't have to pay the 4% city or 7% accommodation taxes when you book with us since we're outside city limits.

The stars are bright on a clear night and you never know when deer will come through. If you're a bird watcher there are plenty of beautiful birds to enjoy. Early in the morning rabbits tend to run about. We installed a fire pit area in Sept 2023 and Johnny built four redwood chairs for the area which is great for star gazing too.

Charming 2 BR bungalow with a recent to-the-studs remodel completed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. New everything, fresh and clean!

We have worked very hard to renovate this charming home just for you and hope that you love it! There is a queen bed and twin bunk beds in one room and a queen bed in the other. All mattresses are comfortable memory foam with layered bedding and soft sheets to ensure you get a great night's sleep. The chic kitchen has everything you should need, including a Keurig with a variety of pods and bagged tea. You will find the pantry stocked with pancake mix and syrup as well as oatmeal and basic staples. Enjoy that coffee and breakfast on the back deck and bask in the morning sunshine to make sure you get your day started off right. Beside the deck is a charcoal grill available for use and we just put in horseshoe pits and put up a hammock for some outdoor fun and relaxation when the weather is nice! An assortment of board games and coloring books are provided and there is also a pack and play should you be traveling with an infant. There is a dollar store across the street should you need items beyond what's provided.

You will have access to the entire property including the large yard with enormous pecan trees--feel free to enjoy some if they're in season! You'll be given a code to access the electronic lock so that check in is effortless and at your convenience.

There is NO SMOKING allowed in the house. Property is inspected and cleaned after each guest and if it is found that you smoked in the house you will be charged for additional cleaning and smoke removal. There is a doorbell camera and two more exterior cameras recording for the safety and security of guests and the property. One covers the front of the house and the other the back of the house.

Guests can use all of this house. There is another historic house on the property that has yet to be renovated and is off-limits for now.

Other things to note
There is no wi-fi or TV in our house so our guests have the opportunity to truly unplug if they desire. The AT&T tower near our area allows for full data usage so you can "replug" in that way if you have that option on your devices and you so desire. We provide games and there are so many outdoor seasonal activities around us to do. We'd be happy to recommend any number of local adventure opportunites if you're interested.

The Farm is off limits to hunting or walking due to liability and having the hunting leased during the year.
