The space
Magnolia House is a 3800 square foot, nearly 100- year- old, Colonial Revival. It was constructed around the shell of an old farmhouse. The shell was moved to its current location, and the land it sits on was purchased on the authorized signature of a 12-year-old native American boy, the only one of his family who could write.
Nine of my twelve children were brought home from the hospital to this house .

Very cute, cozy and airy. Compact but with high vaulted ceilings in the main living area. This apartment gives you a very private away-from -it-all feeling.

The space
The cutest ever garage apartment. Has a very private feel. A small one bedroom area with lots of thought put into the design. Has everything you need unless you need a lot of storage.
Please contact me for longer stay possibilities. I purposely do not open the booking Calendar far in advance so there can be availability for longer stays. Because of the apartment size I limit occupancy at 2 people. I may make an exception for a SMALL child with a couple.

Note: No vehicles will be parked in the garage under the apartment. This area is used for storage and supplies.

Please pull right up to the garage door on the left edge of the drive. There is a set of stairs located on that left side of the building. These stairs will take you to your private deck and the entry door into the apartment. Only parking for one vehicle. Guest parking is at the curb.

All windows in the apartment are new and fully functional underneath the bed there is a chain ladder in case of an emergency.
There is a very small studio apartment on the first level. It is only under the living room area of this apartment. This studio is set up for only one person, one car. This has its own private entrance on the opposite side.

We welcome you to The Apartment Away from busy city streets with private entry, just outside of Owasso. Your private entrance opens to a living room with smart TV, fully stocked kitchen with island, and laundry room. The spacious bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress, and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Heated and cooled attached sunroom is great for watching wildlife. We are on 2 wooded acres just a couple miles from shops and stores, in a safe and quiet country neighborhood.

The space
The apartment is part of a private residence where host lives full time. It is tucked away on the west side of the property facing the woods, opposite the main house.

PLEASE NOTE: We are in the "country" and have deer, turtles, snakes, rabbits, insects such as roly poly's, spiders, crickets, etc. that can and will be seen on the property. Insects will undoubtedly find their way into the apartment even with our monthly exterminator services. We ensure the apartment is "insect free" upon every check in, but cannot control what sneaks in after that.

Sunset House is a large room with a full kitchen and adjoining bathroom. There is a Queen bed with cozy bedding, a Queen sofa bed, 2 chairs and a TV. There is also a small desk. There are two walls of windows which allow perfect views for bird watching at the fountain in our garden.

The space
The dedicated bedroom offers a queen size bed that will sleep two. The couch folds down into a bed and an inflatable mattress is available in the living room closet. The kitchen offers all of the essentials to make your own meals. A coffee maker is on the counter with a supply of K-cups and tea. Linens are provided as well as extra blankets and pillows in the closets. We also have some basic toiletry items, a hair dryer, and an ironing board and iron. A washer and dryer are located in the bathroom area with laundry soap provided. The television is equipped with a Fire Stick and also has access to apps on the tv. A fire extinguisher is located under the sink along with a first aid kit. Other cleaning materials, including baggies for any pets for potty time outside. Although you will not have access to the backyard, there is a grassy area on the side of the house for your pets to use.

The door on the side of the garage leading to the apartment opens to a landing with a door to the garage. That door will be locked at all times with a coded door knob. For your safety during your stay, you will not have access to the garage and no one will have access to the stairs from the garage. The stairs lead directly into the apartment on the second floor.

The sleeping area features a brand new king size bed, extra blankets and a sound machine.

The kitchenette is equipped with a multi-function ninja airfyer/oven, mini fridge, nespresso (with pods, sugar, creamer) and traditional coffee maker (under sink), cutting board and dishes.

In the bathroom you will find a stand-up shower (including vegan, sulfate and paraben free shampoo, conditioner and body wash), lavender shower steamer pods, luxurious robes, and a private two-person sauna.

The backyard / pool area is shared with my husband and me. However, we value your privacy and will make every effort to ensure you have exclusive access during your time.

There is an indoor / outdoor kitchen attached to the guest house. This area is not accessible to guests without prior permission and we will not use it while the space is booked.

Our pool does not have a heater so there is no hot tub / jacuzzi. There is a spectacular private sauna though! 😁

Other things to note
To access the guesthouse you will enter through the side yard and follow the path toward the pool. This listing is for no more than two guests and no persons under the age of 18.

We live in the main house but you will likely not see us unless we meet in passing in the driveway. We are readily available if there is anything you need though.

We do have a small chihuahua inside but she is never outside unsupervised.

We have several historic sites, to name a few the Belvedere mansion, Will Rogers Museum, J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum & Claremore Museum of History. We are 16 miles to the Hard Rock casino hotel in about 19 miles to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Mayberry Mansion only 30 minutes to Hudson Lake in Salina, Ok., & blue hole is near Salina.

Along with queen-sized bed and bedroom, the couch can be converted into a comfy, full bed. It's a very safe neighborhood, with little through traffic, and friendly families. If there are any special requests - please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate! We have a Smart TV and we offer high-speed internet.
