The space

Your private historic loft space with 1500 square feet has one master bedroom with Queen size bed, large dresser & private bath, a second bedroom with a full size bed, vanity with mirror, nightstand, living room with 1 couch and 2 twin air mattresses for additional sleeping arrangements. The kitchen is very large with seating for 8 at dining table and partially open to the rest of the space with large architectural open windows with the original 1902 design. A flat screen TV with large DVD selection is located in the living room. Oversized iconic paintings by Utopia Joe are shown throughout the loft.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire private loft space which is approximately 1500 square feet. In addition, you will also have access to a full size washer and dryer located in our hallway which is shared only with other guests during your stay.

Interaction with guests

We live here in the back of the building and we are just a text away with whatever you need. We also have Tipsy Artist painting classes every Saturday night. You will need to pre-register for these classes at-TipsyArtist.com

Other things to note

Downtown Guthrie is the nation's largest historic district. We have many restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, gift shops, old fashion ice cream shop, indoor put-put, wine bars, and The Pollard Theatre all within 1-2 blocks. The world famous Tipsy Artist Paint Palace is also located downstairs where you can take a painting class and relax with a glass of wine.

Such a lovely home! The home has so many interesting touches to it. We enjoyed all the board games, record player, and sitting down at the large dining table. We stayed for an entire month and it had everything we needed from pots and pans to toiletries. The backyard is so relaxing! Mike and Renee are great hosts! Truly wonderful stay. Scheduled a girls weekend getaway for three. We each enjoyed our own bedroom upstairs. This is the perfect place to chill and unwind. Everything was perfectly appointed for our stay. Lovely accommodations from a personalized welcome note from the hosts to beautiful chandeliers throughout the home. We enjoyed the items and decor in every room which made exploring fun. We enjoyed game nights and coffee on the private covered patio. The Vinyl Loft is a truly unique loft with original art and handmade furniture made by Utopia Joe as seen on HGTV & PBS. Located in the heart of the Arts & Entertainment District of historic downtown Guthrie, OK.

Enjoy garden views from your second story window and take a tour down memory lane with a large collection of vintage vinyl records intermingled in the art and installations.

The sweet melodies of an old-fashion record player will guide you and provide for an authentic listening experience while you relax. This space is charming, relaxed, and eclectic with a splash of cheeky artistic humor sprinkled throughout the colorful art.

Looking for something to do while you are here? Almost every Saturday evening we are hosting a Tipsy Artist Painting Class from 6-9 p.m. This is a wonderful way to meet your host and learn something new. Painting classes are designed for beginners and they are a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion. The cost ranges from $25-45 per person. There is information in your loft guest book or you can book the Tipsy Artist painting class through Experiences on Airbnb.

**Please know that during this time, we disinfect all doors and railings leading to the loft. We are also highly rated for being extremely clean and disinfecting thoroughly after each guest.

We have many restaurants, stores, bars, boutiques, art galleries, make & take studios, and entertainment venues that are all within walking distance. Food Delivery is also available for select restaurants. Guthrie is actually the World's Largest Historic District and it is a very walkable downtown that has the famous Pollard Theatre, restaurants, post office, bank, old fashion ice cream shop, smoothie shop, coffee houses, candy stores, chocolate boutique, farmers market, Pollard Gourmet Grocery store, antique shops, candle shops, clothing boutiques, indoor put-put, YMCA gym, tennis courts, frisbee golf, and park with fishing lake all within walking distance.

A very short 5 minute drive will also take you to a water park, outdoor pool, Lazy E, Walmart and many other restaurants and retail outlets.

Your private historic loft space with 1500 square feet has a master bedroom with a new king size memory foam bed (it is super comfy), 2 nightstands, and work desk with chair and very large walk-in closet.

Second bedroom has a full-size bed with memory foam pad and 2 night stands and additional dresser for storage in nearby hall.

One full size bathroom with Shower in located in a very central part of the loft hallway for easy access to all guests during your stay.

Living Room has record player, comfortable vintage sofa, one comfortable leather chair, coffee table and TV & DVD player with a wonderful collection of DVDs.

Joe had his own show on PBS for a while called "The Utopia Joe" show and has also been featured on HGTV for his handmade furniture. We are delighted to be able to share it with you in this beautiful space. It is very much like being able to live in a magical art gallery for your getaway.

Charming Garden Views from your second story loft ~ your view will be filled with white lights and funky eclectic antiques down below. Large Tree and Garden during the Spring, Summer & Fall is quite lovely when it is in full bloom.

Little Blue is a studio apartment located in the heart of Oklahoma City. Situated in a quiet neighborhood, you are steps away from the Plaza District with fantastic local restaurants, shops and bars.

Walking distance to Oklahoma City University, and a quick drive or Uber to Chesapeake Arena, Thunder Basketball, St. Anthony Hospital, OUHSC, Bricktown, the State Capitol and Midtown.

Welcome to “The Coop” — A Modern Retreat with Country Charm
Nestled behind a custom-built modern home in Bethany, Oklahoma, The Coop is a newly built, 500 sq ft guesthouse with a private entrance accessed via 15 steps. Though you’re in the heart of the city, the view from your private deck is unexpectedly serene -think horses, classic red barns, and a sprawling yard with chickens.
Start your stay with a special touch: fresh eggs waiting in your kitchen, ready for you to cook and enjoy.

Tucked back former recording studio sitting on a 1/2 acre centrally located in OKC. Original wood floors in a unique minimalist space. Quiet historic neighborhood. Feel free to walk the lot and enjoy the trees.

The space
The space is well maintained and clean, it has a queen size bed, keep in mind it’s 80+ years old so there are some unique characteristics. There is a half an acre of nature behind this space and I don’t poison the land. I’m constantly updating and adding to this as I live on site. Please be respectful.

Guest access
There will be a lock box on the entry gate at the back of the drive. Feel free to walk the forested back part of the lot. Do not litter, do not kill insects or animals that share the outdoor space. Do not make excessive noise outside.

The apartment is very private setback by the green belt providing a private large patio with twinkling lights and patio furniture. It is minutes away from several medical complexes, hospitals, restaurants, grocery, and shopping hubs.
