We even reached out to Mike for details in hopes that we can purchase one for our bed back home. He was kind enough to take a picture of the tag from the mattress for us. One morning we slept in a little later and were able to see an absolutely beautiful sunrise from our bed. We came here on a mission trip to build a building for a local church. He had it fixed by the time we got home from the lake. Lake Stroud was wonderful and one of the best lakes we’ve been to as a family. There is a sandy beach close by and was our place for setup each day. There was a place to tie the boat up close to the property, nice area to cookout with 2 grills, 2 bathrooms with showers, a washer & dryer, plenty of towels and linens for everyone, there are 2 long tables with chairs, a living room area with a couch, loveseat, books & tv (we never turned it on), and a small kitchen with a small table. There are very limited supplies to cook with, but we were able to feed everyone and have a great time! I would highly recommend this for a fun family vacation!"

- "Where to begin... first it is way off the beaten path. Next when we got there around 8:40 pm the sign said out to lunch. So we went back to the car for about 20 minutes.we went back inside and still no one around. Called the number from VRBO and was told that they would contact the front office. We waited about 20 minutes and called back was told the same thing. Then we texted another contact number that was sent by vrbo and was told they were trying to get in touch with someone. My aunt then found a numer on the front door for delivery people and we called it, the guy said he would be right out. I then called the number forVRBO and gave them the number and they called, finally. Then the guy at the desk said that i owed more money, i had taken a printed copy of my receipt with me and showed him that. He then had to call his manager to find out what to do. He finally took a copy of my receipt and gave us our room. By this time it is 11:00pm The room was not at all what we were expecting. The door looked like if someone shoved on it , then it would fall in. The shower was in the same room as the bed and the carpet was filthy. The sheets had holes in them. We propped the chair in front of the door. We were up and out of there at the crack of dawn. Wouldn't stay there again ever!!! First bad experience I have had with VRBO in 7 years. Very disappointed."
