The concept is great, a boutique hotel that is also a contemporary art museum. The hotel is beautifully designed, immaculately maintained with a super friendly, professional staff and a fascinating collection of art. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Bentonville close to Crystal Bridges. I don't remember everyone's name but the gentleman who checked me in my first night could not have been more helpful. Dayton, the museum manager did a great job of explaining the 21c concept on our guided tour of the current art exhibition. He does a great job of explaining complex works of art to guests from a wide variety of backgrounds. I had a much better understanding and appreciation of the collection after his tour. Also of note was the daytime doorman, Logon who looked somewhat like Thor and was super friendly and helpful to all the guests. Everyone who works there is exceptional. Hotel 21c is pricey but it is worth every penny. If you are going to Bentonville to see the museum or for any other reason, treat yourself by staying there because it is unique experience that you will remember for years to come. I can't wait to go to some of the 21c properties to experience them as well."

- "I’m giving this inn a B- primarily due to the lackluster service from the man who owns the property. Service is crucial in hospitality, yet during my stay, the owner did not acknowledge my presence. From arrival to departure, he neither greeted my daughter nor me, nor did he inquire about our stay. He consistently avoided eye contact with me, although I observed that he did engage with other guests throughout our stay. In such an intimate setting, the expectation is that the innkeeper will provide consistent, high-quality interactions with all guests, regardless of race, gender or ethnicity. Thankfully, the rest of the staff did not emulate his behavior; they were kind, attentive, and responsive, which salvaged our experience at this otherwise well-regarded inn."

You are booking ROOM 205 which is a private bedroom. There are three shared full bathrooms that are located upstairs with this room and 2 shared half bathrooms downstairs (so finding an open bathroom is never a problem). This room is on the 2nd floor accessible by two different staircases.

Our breakfast is continental self-serve items that we rotate regularly which include: oatmeal, muffins, pop tarts, and other items.

The space
The "Commercial Hotel" has been described as a Bed & Breakfast style Boutique Hotel that allows for multiple guests to enjoy the space safely with private bedrooms. The Commercial Hotel is a historic building in Cotter and has always been a great place for visitors to spend the night and share in the rich history of Cotter! We just completed a full renovation of this incredible space and are excited to share it with you!

The "Commercial Hotel" has 12 private bedrooms that can each be reserved separately with 4 rooms including private bathrooms (101, 102, 103, & 201). There are 3 additional full bathrooms upstairs to be shared between the other private bedrooms. Two additional half bathrooms are downstairs in the shared lounge area. The bathrooms and common areas are cleaned daily by our team to ensure everyone has a great experience.

The space
This classic Americana style space pays homage to the iconic “Motor-lodge” which continues to take root in popularity. Its ideal for the fun-seeking and business traveler. The award-winning Best Cafe and Bar, located on the property, is a favorite among locals and visitors. They feature a breakfast and lunch menu by Executive Chef Joshua Garland and Sous Chef James Debray. A full service bar is available alongside a handcrafted cocktail menu.

This spacious studio-style suite has all new furniture and upgraded, nice comfortable linens. It has One Queen Bed in the main living area. The spacious bathroom has a tub and shower. A convenient bedside nightstand provides a charging cube for USB devices. The main living area also has a refrigerator, sofa, dining table for four, a designated work space with a desk and high speed internet, and a flat screen with Direct TV. In the private queen bedroom, there is also a closet with storage shelves.

Though autos are not allowed in the attached garage, it is perfect to use for a secure area to lock away your mountain bike, kayak or additional cargo. Many of our guests open the garage door and use it as a shaded seating area to enjoy the outdoors. A cedar bench is also provided on your front porch so you can enjoy the scenery and cool breezes.

Multiple spaces can be rented to accommodate groups, friends and family gatherings. We have been in continuous operation since 1933 and have remained a favorite destination for many of our regular guests.
