There are several stairs to get up to rooms. I dont remember reading that in listing, but didnt affect us at all. The house itself was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the real gems were Tyra the house mom and Steve the breakfast cook. They added such a fun vibe that you'd expect from a placed named Mardi Gras house. Looked to be a brand new place, beds were really comfortable memory foam, untouched bunk beds upstairs had their own TVs and headsets. Out back was hot tub, grills, games, etc. We will most certainly be looking for this place again the next time we come to Birmingham especially if we have the kids with us next time."

The space
Your space is accessed using a keypad through the front door. (We enter our home through the back door) Park in the driveway and use the concrete sidewalks to go to the front door. Upon entering you will see the downstairs foyer which is available for your use. We will set up breakfast for you in this space between 8-10 am. You will message the time you would like to eat. You can sit on your Shug Jordan napping couch and watch Netflix or Prime Video which are available to you in your room! Amenities such as filtered water, coffee and tea supplies are available. Your large bedroom has a queen size bed and walk in shower. Feel free to walk around the backyard which is a work in progress. Sit in the little vintage gazebo at the back of our property for a moment of solace in nature. Next door is the well appointed antique store Fig and Wasp! Prepare to be delighted by the beautifully crafted and curated inventory!
You will love being able to visit our local restaurant “The Local” with excellent meals available for dinner Tuesday through Sunday brunch, it’s 2 minutes away across Patrick St. Our local Wild Flour bakery is a 5 minute walk with breakfast starting at 7 am most days.

15 minutes to downtown Auburn or Opelika, close to the Legacy, and the Standard Deluxe.
The property is set back off the main road on 4 acres of wooded land. You get the best of both worlds, a little bit country a little bit city.

The space
The property is on 4 acres of woods and surrounded by another 400 acres so quiet and private to say the least.
3 years old space with top notch details meant for long-term stay. It has one bedroom and one bathroom, it can sleep up to 4 people but there currently is only one bed. Some of our best travel experiences abroad have been staying at people's homes and we wanted to be able to offer that same experience to those visiting Auburn.
We take great pride in our local business owners and love showcasing their goods. We always offer a basket to our guests with a mix of local goodies that we hope you will enjoy. We have chickens on the property and live to share fresh eggs with our guests when available.

Guest access
Guests can access the entire guest house. They can also walk around the property but for their safety ask for their caution as we have an electrical fence in our yard that can deliver a nasty shock.

Ultra cute cottage for two. This little cottage started life as a pottery shed behind the Farmhouse. It grew up some and became a rental cottage called Angel’s Rest. We’ve renovated it yet again, and now it is a fully stocked tiny house with everything you’ll need for a relaxing weekend getaway. Borders the Little River Canyon National Preserve and DeSoto State Park, so bring hiking boots and a swimsuit - Shigley Hole.

This little cottage is right in the middle of the property, so you’ll feel the hustle and bustle of The Wilderness. At night you might hear crickets, frogs, cicadas and people sitting around a campfire.

You have access to the pond and the campfire that’s closest to your cottage, and the trailhead is due West from your screen porch, toward the sunset.
